Hey i'm Pierre, Im looking for a house with fun people and a social/communal environment. I work part time at Crown and study Part time at Monash Clayton so ideally the house is somewhere between these 2 points but really it's more important to me to enjoy who i live with. I like movies, reading, travelling, hanging out with friends gaming etc. I'm easy going, clean, respectful, charming, handsome, intelligent, funny and above all humble (seriously though according to this website everyone is clean and respectful ). and i come with a collection of boardgames and nothing brings people together like hating the winner together. I am aware makes me sound like a giant nerd, which, is pretty accurate.
Currently, I am working as a freelancer doing many projects, dependent on the client. So, I do spend a lot of time at home, most of which I will spend in my room/office space. My cat Mackerel is both an indoor and outdoor cat and is extremely well-behaved and toilet trained. You might find him lounging around wherever is the comfiest spot. In a home, I most definitely am looking for housemates that are respectful and people I can have good conversations with. I work from home, so it definitely is important to me to have housemates who are independent and respectful. Cannot live in party houses or "half-way" houses -- I prefer and will only live with adults, who are respectful and understanding. Good taste in music, literature and films are also a whopping huge bonus. In terms of a physical home, just somewhere cosy that feels like home -- a sanctuary, not necessarily a palace. Gardens are extremely favourable.
Hey, I'm Matthew. I'm from Sydney originally, where I worked for Apple. Moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for an Acting school which I've now graduated from. I work as courier on the side now which lets me pay bills and keep active. Outside of that I've started Calisthenics training, as well as Dance and Piano lessons. I've lived in share houses since I was 18 and have been privy to good housemates and bad, so you can be sure I'll make a good housemate for you. I clean up immediately after cooking. I'm quiet at home and enjoy my rest and peace. I'm consciencious of the sound I make and my influence on the living space for my housemates. No smokes/drinks/drugs. Not a racist. No prejudices. I'm a grown up. Financially responsible | I will always have rent paid on time. I'm honest. If I break it, I'll tell you and repair/replace it. Cool with any pets. Friendly. I'm Vegan | I don't sweat what you eat or how you live. Not thrown by any sights or smells. Grown up.
Hey I'm Naomi. I moved to Melbourne recently from London and I am looking for somewhere long term to live 6 - 12 months ish. I'm laid back and friendly, looking for somewhere a bit homely where we can occasionally hang out/go for drinks but equally like my own space. I enjoy eating out, coffee, yoga, exercise, travel and exploring. Flexible about when I move too. Staying in Windsor at the moment.
I'm moving to Melbourne to start university next year at VCA in Southbank, and am looking for any nice and affordable place to live. I'm somewhat introverted and quiet but easygoing and up for socialising, and I'm easy to get along with. I am a photographer and love art, music, films, games, and pretty much anything creative. I'm also vegan and an animal lover, and great with pets.
I am 26 year old female, studying my masters at Melbourne uni and also working part time as a social worker. I have lived in a few share houses in the past and have remained friends with most of my housemates, that doesn't mean that we (future housemate) have to be the best of friends but we can have a friendly environment/home :). I enjoy spending time with people but I also enjoy my own space and time to myself. - When I'm not working I'll be doing uni assignments at home, gym, out and about with friends etc...
Hey guys, I'm Hannah, your friendly, potential new housemate! I am 27 years young, working as a Nurse with regular hours (how rare). A bit about me: I am easy going, enjoy wine and gins, cooking, health and fitness, Netflix, travel and hanging out with friends. What I am like to live with: having lived in some share houses, I have a respect for people's space and belongings! I am pretty clean (not ridiculous), pay my rent and bills on time, and have been known to bake cakes for housemates. I like to socialise with my fellow housies over wine and dinner, but am not a fan of a frequently occurring party house. I would love to find somewhere to live from mid to late January, be it a sharehouse or a team up! Let me know what works for you and we shall see how we go :)
Hi, I moved to Melbourne about 4 months ago and I'm looking for a new place to live with another 30-something woman who loves cats as well and also enjoys a glass of wine in the evening. Looking for an unfurnished room in Brunswick/Coburg area. I'm currently working as a professional for the government but would like to work part-time next year so I can pursue study in photography and creative writing as they're both hobbies that I've been passionate about for some time now. I'm clean, respectful, and quiet. I'm quite houseproud so I'll do my fair share of the work around the house and I believe in open, and honest communication to avoid drama. I believe in creating a home, not just a share house, where both people can feel welcome and well - at home. I'm wanting to live in an adult home, which means clean and tidy and a strong belief for mutual respect. I'm not a party person, and I'm quiet and usually just want to come home and relax at the end of a long day by reading a book and curling up with my cat, so I would love a housemate who has the same interests. My cat, who goes by the name of Spaz, is currently residing with my mother and I would like to bring her (my cat) to Melbourne to live with me again. She's 8 years old and has started to develop arthritis in her back legs. She loves going outside though, and even though she can be a little bit territorial towards other cats, she has lived with others before and with enough patience, she can learn to enjoy the company of another cat (if you have one), and frankly I think she needs it with how much I work. On a side note - I do have tattoos and dreadlocks. I look like a massive hippy on the outside, and I'm a bit adventurous as I like to travel as much as I can - but please don't let that deter you! I'm actually quite a contradiction and reserved and quiet and I steer clear of drugs. At the end of the day, if you're looking for another woman who believes in creating a peaceful, loving and friendly home that won't create drama, is quiet and clean, and will talk to you openly rather than be passive aggressive, then I'm your woman. Send me a message and let's meet up :)
We are desperately looking for a place to stay in Melbourne. We arrive the 19th and want to stay for almost two months. We are two backpackers from Belgium, both 18 years old and we want to see Australia (everything) in 8 months. We both graduated from college and decided to see a bit of the world. We are very flexible and everything will do, as long as we'll have a roof above our heads. Kind regards Gust & Yasuni
Hello potentials, Easy going, clean, respectful, socialable lad . I work in hotel management and as a barber as well. Hi there! I am a friendly, relaxed, tidy, animal loving, vegetarian, full-time working professional. I am a competitive cheerleader and like to be active and healthy. I also enjoy relaxing in my (very) limited free-time and putting my feet up to Netflix and a hot chocolate. I have a 3 year old Dalmatian (Obedience trained to level 4), and a 6 year old Cat. Both very chilled, quiet and great share-house pets (can provide pet references). I'm looking for a relaxed, respectful atmosphere where people are happy to socialise together and also respect each others personal space/belongings.
Hi! I am professional in Advertising, from Colombia but lived and worked in Buenos Aires for 8 years and now here in Melbourne. I am doing a part-time internship and looking for a casual job as well. I've lived with many people while being in the University, so I am very social and easygoing, enjoy having a good conversation but I also understand and respect other people's space, I am very tidy and clean and would love to live with someone that shares the same thoughts :) Currently living in Hawthorn East and I need to move in January 12. I am looking for a long-term private room.
Myself and my friend will be coming to Melbourne on Jan 14. We both have completed engineering & will be in Australia for 2 years. We both prefer a single room at an affordable amount. We both are jovial and adaptable to any situation.
Hi my name is Lucy and I'm moving from Adelaide to Melbourne in January to start a new job! I work M-F in the banking industry but always find time to squeeze in exercise (gym and Pilates), cook delicious healthy meals and a bit of down time on the couch to catch up on the social media. I enjoy going out and given I'll be in a new city, I'm very keen to meet new people. Must admit I do enjoy the finer things in life these days but always up for letting the hair down. Currently I play club tennis on a Saturday and would be keen to continue this in my new city. I'm looking for a house that feels like a home, is clean and tidy, and is filled with good vibes! Preferably I'll have my own bathroom, a place to park my car (on street is ok) and access to public transport. I'm open to a housemate dinner and wine night every now and then too! Most people would say I'm easy going and fun to live with! Send me a message and we can FaceTime!
I am a very easy going person who loves to socialise. I'm from Salisbury in England and 20 yrs old. I like going out but prefer being somewhere a bit more chilled with a pint of beer. I'm currently working in hospitality however I won't have a job as soon as I move to Melbourne but currently still have a enough saved for a couple months rent. Would be fab to live with people who enjoy socialising together maybe even doing little trips together and making dinner together is always fun!
I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation and my partner is trans, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me. My move date is pretty flexible. I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo social science/teaching student, I've also just picked up a part-time warehousing job that I'll be starting in the next fortnight. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I'll be able to source my own quickly (I have a blowup mattress I can use until I get a bed) and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere with a nice kitchen and a room that fits a double bed. I'm looking for at least a 4 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either.
Moving from Adelaide to Melbourne as of Feb 2017. Looking for a moderately cheap place to stay for up to 3-6 months or more. I travel alot and will be studying at Northcote Pottery when I move. I love the arts, anything creative, music, going to local gigs, socialising and cooking. I also enjoy my alone time and am very respectful of others space. I like to tidy up after myself as I go along with my days and always pay my bills on time. :)
Down to earth, clean, sane, and outgoing American guy who has been living abroad for 3 years and has no reason to go home because... well.. Trump. Currently residing in Auckland and moving to Melbourne for a badass job in the health and fitness field as well as expanded my own online business. A good time on the weekend but won't bring it back home. Have a beer with me and I promise you won't hate me.
I'm 25 years old from the country town of Kyneton! I am a pool installer and is based in coburg north on Sydney road. Looking to move closer to work as I recently lost my lisence. I am a clean and tidy person , love to socialize and have fun! I'm very respectful and will treat the house like it's my own. My work hours are from 7 until roughly 5 and I play cricket/footy on Saturdays . I hope to hear from you asap :)
Hiya! I'm an outgoing, fun-loving education student, studying full time at ACU! I'm looking to either move into an existing share house or start up a new place over the semester one period (now- mid June 2017). I'm clean and tidy, considerate, and reliable. I'd love to move into a place with people who are sociable and enjoy a chat as well as night in on the couch watching Netflix. Likewise, I do enjoy a night out and so would ideally like to move in with people who like to do the same! Shoot me a message if you'd like to catch up for a chat!
Hi I'm Stacey, 22 & moving to Melbourne in mid/late January. I'm very easy going & get along with everyone. Have a good sense of humour, neat, tidy & respectful. I enjoy cooking & keeping fit & healthy. Love to explore the outdoors & always in search for the latest trendy cafe or pop-up bar. Although I love being social, I do appreciate down time & often find myself on the couch watching OffSpring & enjoying a glass of wine... or two! If you think we would get along well, I would love to hear from you :)
We are a young couple from Tasmania, looking to move to Melbourne for work. We are both very clean and always clean up after ourselves. We are very easy going people and like meeting new people but we are also very quiet too. We enjoy travelling and spending our weekends out exploring. You won't have any trouble or problems with us. We would prefer to move in with another couple and would like a more modern unit or apartment, however we are open to look at anything. We would like to get a place somewhat close to the train station as we would only be bringing one car over. Maddison works in Tasmania as a payroll officer and Tom works as a teachers aide and child educator. These are the professions we would most likely continue in Melbourne. Maddison and I enjoy travelling spending our weekends out in the city; shopping and eating out but we also enjoy going to the beach and going on bush walks. If you have any questions or would like to talk to us more please feel free to message us. Thanks Tom and Maddison.
Hey guys, my names Josh. I'm 22. I'm looking to move from NZ to Melbourne soon. I work as a cocktail bartender and am looking to live somewhere near the city. I'm quite chill and open minded. I enjoy going to the gym, socializing, hanging out with flatmates and having a few drinks . So I'm looking to move in with people around my age that enjoy hanging out and exploring the city. Move in date and location is flexible. Thanks!
Hi, we are a couple looking for a room somewhere around Melbourne (preferably Richmond) with great connections to the city since we are both studying and working in and around the city. We would prefer to not pay more than 360 per week for both of us, but can be discussed. It is Frida who is 21 years old from Sweden, and Russell who is 21 (soon 22) from outside of Melbourne. We are a friendly and social couple who would love to be friends and hang out with the people we live with but at the same time have respect for our privacy since we will have a lot of studying to do. Other than that, we are two normal students who likes to have fun and hang out, go out once in a while and not just sit at home. If we sound like the people for you, then we'd love to hear from you! :)))
Hey :) I'm Mike, a 25 year old Londoner who's made the move to Melbourne. I work full time in the sports industry based in the CBD and so am looking for a place within easy travelling distance of the city. Flexible when it comes to location, length of lease and weekly rent amount. The most important thing to me is that the place feels like a home rather than just a room. I'm a clean, fun and friendly person who enjoys socializing with housemates but appreciates that we all need our own space occasionally. I have house shared with both males and females before, understand house share etiquette and always pay the rent/bills on time every time. Excited to find a new place and meet some amazing new housemates so I hope to hear from you soon :)

Pay the bills/Rent on time, Respect peoples privacy, Clean up after myself and not leave a pile of dishes in the sink, And enjoy a chat over a beer or coffee. preferably looking for a place with a garage/undercover parking or off street parking. Hello! I am a nursing student and usually work in health/cosmetic medicine or temp in offices (until degree is finished). I need a house with a yard with grass. I am making the move from Syd where I have held a lease for years and had my mix of good and bad flatmates. I don't really want the hassle of managing a house and flatmates on my own anymore. I have a house full of cool antique and vintage furniture in storage which can come with me or stay there. I am a good person to live with. I take quick showers, bathroom is tidy after I use it. If I cook I wash and dry same night, wipe down and no food in sink! I empty bins, tidy as I go etc. I keep to myself but can be chatty if you feel like it. I have a very good sense of humour. I come with two quiet dogs. I don't have people over or make noise. All my flatmates have loved my dogs. They would need a corner in a living room for their day beds or a really large bedroom so they could have beds in there. Believe me they sleep a lot. One is a greyhound and one is a mix. No barking, very good in the house. May raid bins if given access, so they have to be supervised if kitchen is open or bins on floor. Never any accidents in house. They don't smell doggy as regularly cleaned. A covered area in back yard or access to a garage would be needed for when I am at work so they can be dry and warm. I am extremely responsible and hard working so all bills and rent are paid on time every time and my dogs have the best of care and no responsibility is on anyone else in house to care for them. I have lived with 19 year olds up to mid 50's. I do Taekwondo and weights. My two best friends live in Yarraville. I love being busy and in my downtime I watch good drama or home Reno shows :) I like to eat out as well. I have been known to down G&T's or champagne and come home drunk once in a while after dancing all night, but that is rare these days, I lean to the left in my politics and would probably like a house that recycles etc..
Hi i'm down to earth, friendly and easy going. I have a passion for music and all things art related. I also enjoy going out to watch and play live gigs. Im currently working part time as an ombudsman for the telecommunications industry. I am a 31yo Female finally moving from Brisbane to follow my life goals of living in Melbourne. I am a registered nurse working part time whilst studying naturopathy part time at endeavour college. I have lived in share accommodation most of my life and have met some of my best friends doing so. I'd say I am a considerate, friendly, easy going and clean housemate. I am looking to move into a home not a party house although I don't mind a casual wine here and there. With the hours I keep and how busy life is for me I like to use home as a place of recoup and grounded-ness. I am hoping to find lovely housemates to share a lovely home with. I look forward to meeting you :)

I'm currently living in Brunswick, however with housemates moving out I will either need to find new housemates or find a new place to move into. Also I have 2 (older) cats, who are very friendly but mostly just sleep all day... I also have a large amount of furniture, Fridge / TV, Dining Table, etc. so would ideally like to move into a property where these can be put to use :D Feel free to ask me any questions :)
