I'm James, a 25 yr old kiwi working in advertising. I have been in Melbourne almost a year and am looking for a quiet and sunny room in a central suburb and some cool people to live with. I'm a laid back, social guy who appreciates things to be clean and tidy, but I'm always up for having friends over for a few drinks during the weekend. I work in advertising, so if I'm busy you may not see me for a couple of days, but at the end of the week I'll be craving a few drinks and a good laugh. I enjoy eating out and going to gigs, as well as making the effort to squeeze the odd run in too. As a kiwi, my footy knowledge is slowing developing, so I'll be making an effort to attend a few games this season. Can cook, and happy to share meals if you are too.
Loves to have a laugh & can take a joke. Can talk til the cows come home but appreciates the ME time. Cooking is most fun when I'm bothered which is often as I love to feed others. Loves to bake. Clean and tidy. Weekend lazy's in front of the tele is the best but are ramdom. Enjoy a glass of wine occasionally when chatting with friends. I'm a smoker but only do this outdoors.
I respect my housemates and my home. I currently work long hours having recently ditched the corporate world to join the hospitality industry. I enjoy unwinding with roomies, friends or by myself after work and having a good chat over a glass of wine. I make a mean espresso Martini, so can 'sometimes' be relied upon for a night cap or a pick me up before a solid night out. Music is medicine for my soul! I like to take a quiet moment to read a book, jumping on my bike for a ride and doing yoga. I also enjoy spending time looking after my vegie patch and cooking with home grown produce! I'm looking forward to joining an existing household and getting to know new housemates.
Young and fully employed with a stable job and new to Melb. Looking for mates in this big new city and love a night in just as much as a fun night out though usually one to stay home over a few drinks and chat watching movies. Happy doing my own thing as much as I love group meals and hang outs. Enjoy music, reading, movies, the beach, random drives, and hanging with mates.
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
I'm looking for a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, I'm a clean, responsible and easy going guy, I work full-time as a photographer, and I offer free snapshots for my future housemates.
I'm a gentle-natured, clean and tidy guy with a love of technology and digital arts. I graduated from university last year and have an interest and skills in digital media design. I've just been offered a new full-time job in Fitzroy and need to quickly find somewhere to live.
Hi, I'm Kirsty, 31, from London. I've been living in Melbourne for 1.5 years. I'm currently working full time as a medical records manager in Prahran. I'm clean and tidy, flatmate trained. I love photography, comedy, movies, baking, cycling and going for brunch! I'm not a room hermit and enjoy socialising with my flatemates over a glass of wine/dinner/pub from time to time. Kirsty X

Hi, I'm Mariah! I am a primary school teacher who is very relaxed, clean and easy going. I am looking for a place that is closer to work, so that I have more time to sleep :) I love to make new friends but also enjoy my own company as well! I enjoy binge watching netflix, eating and sleeping. I also love to have a bit of a dance. I have a beautiful cavoodle puppy... she is the most friendliest dog and is very placid. You will get lots of cuddles from her. If you are ever feeling down she is right there to cheer you up! I am new to the game of flatmates, so I'm open to new opportunities that come along.
Hiello hello. I am from Ireland and I work full-time in Digital Marketing in the city. I like to keep fit and cycle to work, and I have just registered for the Melbourne marathon in October. I studied languages in Uni and have spent time living in France, Spain and the US. Also spent a summer working in Slovenia. So, I love going to meet-ups in Melbourne for language exchange and travel. Always up for a chat over dinner, tea or a glass of wine and on the weekends I like to have a few beers, go to gigs, go the markets and discover all the food festivals in Melbourne. Have been in house shares for years now, so all the usual; clean, socialble , tidy etc. etc!
I am chilled and very tidy, I love a morning coffee and wine/cheese nights. I am up for a chat but watching netflix is how Ill spend most week nights after work as a teacher. Weekends are for exploring and too much food. I do have an amazingly affectionate kitten with me.
I'm a software engineer, very clean, very quiet person, mostly keeps to myself. I currently work from home on my laptop, so I will not be leaving my room much. I don't have any pets, but I love them. I would be interested in having chats/friendships with my flatmates if they prefer, but still perfectly fine staying by myself if you need your own space. I would rather live in a non-smoking place, where there are rarely any partying inside the residency, but no problem going out together every once in a while.
Just relocated from Sydney to Melbourne for a job in the CBD. Looking for a place to stay for around 6 months initially, potentially longer (Contract ends September). I am clean, workaholic, when I am not at work, I am usually at home either watching TV or gaming :). Own a couple of motorbikes, so often regularly go for a ride on the weekends. Secure parking is also bonus!
I’m a relaxed, clean and happy 26 year old who works full time as a Primary School teacher. I’m pretty chilled during the week and a lover of cheese, wine and socialising on the weekends. I often spend my spare time fawning over sloths on the Internet. I’m looking for housemates that are happy to have our own space but also keen to hang out - I love making friends! Exercise (a bit), weekend adventures (a lot), Netflix binging (all the time), too much red wine (sometimes), going to music festivals/gigs and going out to try new cafes/restaurants/bars are some of my loves! I’m a terrible singer and you will hear my efforts in the shower sometimes (sorry)…but what I lack in singing ability I make up for in enthusiastic dance moves, always having cheese in the fridge, having some kitchen things (if needed), enjoying a weekend cleaning session and always paying rent/bills on time. I have teamed up with someone through here, and we're looking for one or two more housemates to join our awesome house family! We're already looking to inspect and apply for places. Looking forward to hearing from you!
An exciting time has come for me to start the next chapter of my life and moving to Melbourne is a significant part of it. I originally moved to Perth 9 years ago from South Africa. I'm open to new experiences, love meeting new people and sharing stories & drinks. I love to have fun but always retain a sense of responsibility and reliability. I'll be great to live with because laughter will be a regular part of our day :)

I'm also beginning to explore the world of health & fitness. I cherish my alone time and view my home as a place of sanctuary and respite from the outside world.
