I am a 22 year old french Canadian engineering student (from Quebec) doing an internship at RMIT for June, July and part of August. I am looking for a clean and furnished place to stay for the few weeks I'll be in Melbourne! I'm a fan of a lot of sports: I play volleyball, go to the gym and am generally always willing to go out and play. I enjoy being outside, going for a hike and trying out new things. I also play drums (which I obviously won't be bringing with me). I enjoy staying in for a movie at night as well as going out for a drink. Looking to meet new people and explore the country while I'm there!
Hi, My name is Ivan :) I am 40 years old and orginally from Spain, and lived in Australia for 3 years now. I recently moved from Sydney to Melbourne. I am very clean, organised and respectful of people privacy and space. I enjoy a good chat and like to meet new people. I prefer to share a flat or house with 1 person, preferably on the above ground floor. I also like to live in a clean and tidy environment, a place I can call home. Kindest Regards! Ivan
Well, my name is Josh. I am 42 kilometres old and I am 8 months pregnant with my 14th illegitimate cat. Nah, just kitten y'all right meow! Boy, do I froth a good pun! But I do froth a bad pun, too. The puns that are neither good nor bad, though... Yeah, they're pretty good as well! But would I define myself as punsexual? No! Quite frankly, I don't believe in labels. Unless they are on things like jars. Nothing grinds my gears like mistaking icing sugar and cocaine at 4 a.m when I'm baking cakes. Why the hell would anyone put icing sugar on a cake anyway? That's bloody crazy! Anyway, if you haven't already noticed, I'm pretty cool. Mum even says so as well. It's good to have such a credible and unbiased opinion, so it can be used as a reference for any future leasing application. So yeah, I guess you could say I'm probably better than you. You don't have to say it... But you probably should! Like, I don't want to brag or nothing, but I mooch off my parents, watch Gossip Girl 24/7 on the reg and I steal from homeless people. No big deal, whatever. Yolo. My life motto is "Haters gonna hate" and I have a sick tattoo on my lower back that says "Daddy's Little Angel" (Inked AF). It's a big part of my life and is a massive part of who I am. Apart from all the dank memes and heroin I consume daily, that is. But seriously, enough rubbish. Besides having 6 toes on one foot and 3 nipples (Not on the same foot), I'm pretty normal. I'm just looking for a nice, clean place that is close to Melbourne CBD, whether that is into an existing household or people want to team up and start a new wolf pack. Anyway, if you made it this far and want to find out more, feel free to send me a message or text on 0418 827 795. Thanks.
Im very reliable and a dependable type of person. I enjoy cinema, books, social justice and creative pursuits. Right now I'm looking for somewhere where I can be fairly independent. I'm currently living in a share house in Coburg but I'm keen for a place of my own. I have no pets or other dependants.
Hi! My name is Chase, I was born in Newcastle but have lived in Melbourne most of my life and consider myself a local. I am a qualified audio/visual technician, currently on a disability pension and about to commence study in a new field. I have a lot of interests; sports, cars and motorcycles, martial arts, gaming, alternative fashion, piercings and tattoos, reading, cooking, music and music production, TV and anime. I am an animal lover so I'll get along with any critters that are getting around! If possible I would like to get a cat but if that's not a possibility I understand. I am someone with a positive outlook. I like to socialise and find it easy to relate to almost anyone, I love hearing peoples stories! I value tidiness and good communication, and I always pay bills on time. Non smoker. Prefer unfurnished room and somewhere to park car.
I'm a physiotherapist who works full time; after work I try to drag myself to the gym, otherwise mostly relax at home. In my down time enjoy hanging out with friends, reading, Netflixing and getting out on the weekend. I've lived in share-houses before, very tidy, easy-going, happy to hang out and respectful of personal space. Would be open to a team up in Northcote - preferably on or close to High St with a delightful human being.
Full-time employed Monday to Friday 8 till 4.30pm, so I like to keep regular hours. Been helping run logistics for a software company for the last 12 years so it is mainly events and international for the last 2. Around the home I take things pretty easy. Like to keep everything clean and tidy even if my room can look like a bomb's gone off from time to time (the plan is to get rid of all my things and start being minimalist - see how that goes). Can cook and happiest when sharing a good meal and wine with good company (one of the things I need to get rid of is a small collection of wine, but drinking alone is not my thing). I can be unsocial from time to time and retreat to my room, but am always up for a chat if called upon and I am looking ideally for a home where I feel I belong for as long as that may be. I'm respectful of personal space and mindful of how my actions effect others. Can be spiritual and deep, but in no way consider myself an intellectual - just informed enough to have formed an opinion or feeling on most things, but open enough to enjoy having those views changed. I'm confident and open enough to say if I have a problem with anything, but hopefully also good enough to ask the questions needed to find things out when we meet. Ideally looking for a home that I get along with people well and share common areas, but can easily be happy enough chilling alone. Music is something I love. I've had tickets and to Golden Plains, Andrew Bird, the Mountain Goats, Lloyd Spiegel, Beth Orton, Brian El Dorado & The Tuesday People, and Tim McMillan & Rachel Snow this year, and just downloaded Old Crow Medicine Show's new album and listening to as I write this up. Like to go out when any good opportunity presents itself, but I don't think I'm likely to be out very late, very often anymore even if I am a bit of a night owl. Like games (have PS4, chess board and various cards), sci-fi and fantasy (have books, dvds/blu-rays- possibly to be moved on if I embrace this minimalist thing), basketball and golf - though rarely after I have played. Need to find a Place by end of July though ideally want to move ASAP so am flexible with when I move.
Hi, I'm 26 and I work full-time in television publicity. I've been living in Melbourne for 2.5 years but originally from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland! I work mon-fri. Sometimes weekends as well. I would be bringing my own TV and bedroom furniture. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle and the occasional good night out with friends. Love to travel whenever I can. Would really love to share with only one or two other housemates who are mindful of keeping the place clean and tidy. Ideally looking for somewhere with my own bathroom but flexible on that point. Ideally need to be moved by Sunday, May 28.
Hello I'm a single male looking for a nice place to call home. I like living in a clean space. I'm respectful of personal space but at the same time enjoy a good chat. I clean up after myself and would expect the same from my future room mates. I grew up in Brisbane and have been travelling and working as a cellar hand in wineries throughout Australia for the last 3 years. I have lived in Melbourne for one year. Im your mate with a Ute. I have commenced a Bachelor of Agriculture at The University of Melbourne with the intention to major in Wine Science. I like hiking, travelling and good vibes with quality people, food and drinks.
Hey I'm an easy going guy that enjoys a chat and is house trained. Fairly quiet during the week with work (engineer) and exercise but don't mind a drink or getting outside for activities on the weekends. I'm not the hermit type of house mate, I'm looking for a house that is social and doesn't mind sharing the odd meal etc. If there is anything else you want to know feel free to message me!
Hi Guys I'm currently working in Mildura as a winemaker, but I have accepted an opportunity in a management role for a construction company in North Coburg. I will be moving back on the 7th of May. Few things about me: I'm well traveled and have lived in places such as NZ, USA, Norway and Cambodia, so I'm very adaptive and find it easy to get along with people. I like to be social and get involved with the happenings of the house, not really one to sit in my room with the doors closed. Do like a laugh and have a sense of humor. Obviously love wine and am not a bad cook either. I like to keep quite fit. I am house proud and keep things clean especially the kitchen. I have a lot of references that would happily confirm this, should you require them. Cheers Elliott
Hi, I'm Mizuho from Japan. I work at a cafe in Fitzroy north. I'm very tidy and quiet person. I like reading and doing Japanese calligraphy. I like spend time myself. Hello, my name is Taycian. I am looking for a lovely place to live in the north suburbs for myself and my charmer of a scruffy little doggy Mingus. I work full time as a Social Worker at the Royal Women's Hospital. I love my job and chatting to all different types of people. I stay pretty busy and get pretty excited about seeing Bands, an odd vino or two out on the town with pals, doing some twists and bends in the odd yoga class and getting stuck into a good book. I have also been known to whip up some culinary treats in the kitch. I think it's so great to have a share house where roomies can share a meal and a chat and have a good chuckle from time to time. I am a respectful housemate, have good boundaries, generally adult pretty well and I am tidy and considerate. My little dude Mingus is a small, white rescue pooch. He is very house trained and I would bet my left arm that he will live his life and never chew up a stray shoe. Ming's a quiet and friendly guy who has seemed to charm the pants of every past roommate I have come across. If we sound like we would be a good match, feel free to send me a message. I am available to move into a new house any time!
Hi! We are Sam and Brylee. Here are just a few of the many reasons why we would make great housemates: 1) We are the prefect amount of interested in all things fun and adventurous, not so interested that we are obsessive and not so disinterested that we don't enjoy exploring new things! 2) We're outdoorsy people, often we go out in the evenings for a nice walk around the city and we head out on camping adventures regularly, which means the house will be empty some weekends. 3) We both have a very easy going approach to life and a great sense of humour. We have the worlds greatest cat!! She is super friendly and cute. We'd love to hear from anyone who's interested in living with us. We can grab a coffee or have a chat over the phone - However you prefer. Looking forward to meeting you, our future housemates!! :)
Hello! My name is Daisy, I'm looking for a room for my pet dog and I in a professional, friendly, clean and cool place in the inner suburbs of Melbourne. I work as Creative Director of a national campaign by Australia's largest youth-led non-profit organisation. I'm busy and driven, and have lots of hobbies like jogging, listening to a million podcasts, making snacks, going to gigs and festivals and drinking a lot of coffee. I'm looking to join or start a sharehouse with like minded, professional and good people! I am real tidy, come with some fancy candles, and like having a relaxed home environment where there's open communication and everyone will laugh at my jokes. I like having a chat over dinner or discussing events and ideas, but I am a little introverted so sometimes I'm quiet! Now the deal breaker - my dog is called Sophie, she's a foxhound (large beagle) and is a beautiful cutie pie. She's a largely outside dog, so I'd love a backyard, but she does lounge about inside with me when I'm home. I'm hoping to live with dog lovers! I'm a responsible pet owner engaged with making sure she is absolutely no burden on the house or housemates. I have a VERY good vaccuum cleaner for pet hair. Please contact me if you think it would be a good fit!
