Hey there! I work in the Film and Television industry - long days and with lots of travelling! Looking for a furnished room on a street with ample and unrestricted street parking ideally! I'm a bit of an introvert and like to unwind at the end of each day with a book and quiet time, so I will always respect your space and peace. I have a car and will need a place with ample and good parking in the street - off-street of course preferred. My budget is strict as well as the suburbs I am looking in, so please no messages if your room is more or if your place isn't in my preferred areas! I also live in Sydney and won’t be able to see the room or meet with your prior to me arriving, Skype is all I’ve got until then :)
My name is Simon and I work for NAB. I’ve recently returned from Sydney and am currently staying in thornbury. I’m looking to rent somewhere for the medium to long term that is furnished. I work full time Monday to Friday and spend spare time reading, gym, Netflix, fairly active. I work in Docklands so this is a great location. I like to cook, I spent a lot of time in hospitality before moving to finance. I’m not a room hermit but also respect other people’s need to have their own time and space. I’d be interested in having a look at the room and meeting you if it’s still available. Im not in a rush to move, but the sooner the better. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for any more information or to arrange a time to meet. Talk soon.
I’m Sam (27) and have just moved over to Melbourne for minimum 3 months potentially longer, with work (usually based in London) and I’m working in the CBD. Currently staying in an air bnb in abbotsford till Tuesday. So can move in pretty quick if that helps. I’m sociable and like to hangout and go to the pub, though I’m more than happy in my own space. I like to stay active and am at the gym 4-5 times a week. I’m clean around the house and I’ve lived in a lot of different house shares in a number of countries before this and would like to think I’d make a good housemate for most people :)

Hi, I'm Bianca. I'm 29 and work full time (9 to 5) in a stable ongoing job within the Victorian Government. My main reason for moving is to be closer to work in Melbourne CBD. I enjoy yoga, films, tea and interesting conversation. I have friends & family that I enjoy catching up with regularly. Around the home, I am generally relaxed and quiet. I respect personal space and privacy. Looking to share with someone with a similar outlook and in a similar age group. I'm clean and tidy.
Im a clean and respectful housemate to live with- have been living overseas for the last year so now am looking to move out. Im easy going, chatty and love to cook. Im a full time student to I am not into partying (too heavily) or excessive socialising :)
Hi! I'm Andrea. I'm 22 and I'm from Spain. I came to Melbourne to improve my english. I study in the city center so I'm looking for a room near to my school. I have four or five hours of class each day. On weekends I like socialising, going out to have a drink or a good dinner and practise sports, especially basketball. I enjoy to go out with friends but I also like relaxed plans such as netflix and pop corns. I´m tidy, clean, sociable and also respectful. If you want to know more about me just send me a message!
Hi housemate hunters! I'm looking to rent a room in a sharehouse. I'm a friendly, responsible guy and have lived in sharehouses around Melbourne for many years. I work as a researcher at Melb Uni and also a telephone crisis counsellor. I'm pretty busy with other stuff (acting in short films, writing music (without making a sound!), hitting the bars, weekends away). But I enjoy being able to come home to a relaxed house, and having a chat with housemates. I like taking care of the place, I'm flexible, and I respect people's privacy and space. I'm fine with pets too.
I am an IT professional and moving from Delhi to Melbourne on 7th October so I am looking for a property for accommodation. I am currently in India so I am not available for inspection but will be happy to do that same through video call.
My partner and I are 22yo and our friend Kyle is 18. We are all very relaxed, opened minded, and are looking to move closer to the west/north side (with some exceptions). I work in Australia post in sunshine and currently live in a Pakenham (It’s insane I know!!). We are all relatively private people, and like our own space but do love to socialise and hang out. We all love the outdoors as well. My partner and I have a dog named Hannibal, he just turned 1 and don’t let the name fool you, he is the biggest sook for affection ever. He just wants love, kisses, cuddles, and maybe some of your food ;) (but don’t worry he does not beg). He is fully house trained, very obedient and short furred. Brad is currently studying and looking to work with me after his studies, hopefully by next year. Ideally we would like to all have a room of our own, but my partner and I are also happy to share one larger room together. Being close to public transport would be great, as none of use a car. Closest to train stations would be ideal, if not any buses work too. Hopefully we are what you are looking for :)
I'm an Aussie guy that has been living overseas for the past 5 years and am moving back to Australia over the next couple of months. I love travelling and like to cook. I'm down for a drink or to share a meal every now and then. I am open to moving in over the next couple of months and am going to be staying in an Airbnb until i find the right place.
I'm Victoria - I'm in my late 20's and about to move to Melbourne for work from Sydney. I'll be working full-time in the CBD as a lawyer. I enjoy cooking and running, and am trying to figure out the whole work life balance thing. I'm share house trained, so I'm happy/competent with cleaning/keeping things tidy, bills/rent, putting the bins out, watering the garden etc etc. I'm always happy to have a chat and a laugh, though understand if you enjoy your own space as I sometimes like to wind down on my own as well. I've got a few friends in Melbourne but am hoping to live with people who are happy to catch up when everyone is home. I currently live with my boyfriend who will be visiting from Sydney every so often. He's easy going and sociable - imagine the human version of a golden retriever with glasses and a marine science job. He travels quite a bit for work, and I'll also be to and from Sydney, so I don't expect he'll be a lot. That being said, I'm super mindful of the impact couples can have on share houses, so you'll never find us hogging the couch etc. I'm moving down to Melbourne on 5 October and have an Airbnb for a few weeks (but can move in anytime from then), so will be keen to check out places from 6 October onwards. Happy to Skype/Facetime/phone if you'd like to chat before then :)
Three recent graduates from the UK, arriving in Melbourne on the 3rd October 2018. Lucy an I (Poppy) are a couple so we would only be looking to rent two rooms between the three of us. We'd like to stay for at least four months whilst we work to save money for further travel. We're tidy, friendly and keen to explore the city!
I'm Irish and moved over here last October. I lived in Fitzroy for 7 months and then moved to SA for 3 months. I moved back to Melbourne because I love it here and I'm hoping to be here for another year 🙂 I'm 25, fully house trained as I've lived in share houses for a while now! I'm pretty chilled out during the week with a Monday-Friday 9-5 job (I'm always down for a Netflix Binge) but I like to go out exploring on the weekends. When I'm at home I love cooking and baking! I like keeping things clean and really just want a place that feels like home that I enjoy going back to. Thanks for reading this (I know you'll have a lot to go through!) and if you have any questions please let me know! If it helps, I come with plants 😛 Cheers!
Looking for a some good folk to move in with. 2 or 3 people max. 30 years and over or mature late 20s folk. Don't mind living in flats or apartments but would prefer to be in a decent size 3 bedroom townhouse, house or Unit. Busy with work during the week (utilities pricing models and organisational transformation) and have plenty of family and friends in Melbourne - hence I may not be home most days earlier than 7.00. Weekends I have a fairly hectic social life so I'm out most of the time. My interests are the occasional visit to the gym (generally to see if anything's changed), watching sports, golf, political-satire and the ever eternal quest for a decent wine shop in the area. You'd be surprised at the some of the stuff people say to flog you a bottle !! Not interested in a party house - my London days are truly behind me. I have a place being built at the moment but unfortunately it's a little too large for my needs and will probably rent it out to a family as its school zoned pretty well. Plus I cook awesome south indian curries (That's right ... not just you're average Indian!!) and occasionally get mum to sort me out with a decent week's ration - which I'm happy to share. You'll never do Indian take-away in your life. I guarantee it. So .. If you're interested, PM me.
