I’m a joyful person who likes to share time together with other flatmates I like to make jokes and talk about different arguments. I’m trying to learn to play guitar so if you are able I’ll be happy to learn from you. I like to drink together sometimes and make crazy parties when there’s something to celebrate. But not always because I’m no more in my 20’s and it may take a little bit longer to recover ;-P. Anyway, I’m also a part-time painter and artist and I’m alway ready to start some new art piece.
My name is Julian and I'm currently looking for a room to rent for around $160 p/w. I am pretty quiet and keep mostly to myself but always friendly and respectful to fellow housemates, I have been doing the sharehouse thing now for around 8 years so I know the basics of whats expected and how to keep everyone happy. I'm currently paying $400 a fortnight and also not currently employed so its a bit much, the only thing I would require is a bed and cable access to the modem for internet. I would be looking for long term stay if we all get along and things work and would also be looking for employment in the area. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon
We're pretty quiet, but do enjoy talking to people and value open communication between housemates. I work full time and in my spare time like to journal and cook. I also ride my bicycle regularly. Ryan works at night shifts and has an alternate sleep schedule. In his spare time he'll game or do some climbing at a local gym. Neither of us like loud music, but are definitely down for evening soirées on the porch.
I'm a very easy going, reliable, responsible, clean, neat and tidy, friendly, outgoing, private, respectful of others space and privacy. I am taking 12months off after returning to melb from 25years in warrnambool & a divorce. I am looking for a long term rental. I have an 11year old fully house trained lap dog, who is the friendliest little dog I ever met! I'm open to sharing with any age group, any race, religion, sexual preference, I'm very open minded. I will spend a lot of my time alone, quietly, and might have some casual work 2days per week. References can be provided if required.
Allo! I am moving to Melbourne at the start of 2019 as I’ll be studying an Advanced Diploma of Music Industry Full-time in Southbank from February onwards. Originally from Adelaide, currently residing in the Gold Coast. I am pretty easy going, sociable and open minded. I enjoy meeting new people, going out, and travelling, but also appreciate my alone time to recharge. I aim to eventually get a part time or casual job on the side of my studies. I love anything to do with music, food, alcohol or exploring new places. I am looking for somewhere clean, simple and interchangeable, with my own room, that has at least a bed to sleep on and somewhere to put my clothes & items. I am flexible with sharing a bathroom, toilet, kitchen and common areas. I don’t mind living with a few people but would prefer not to live in a big share house with 5 or more people as I find this can be quite overwhelming. I also like to cook, listen to a wide range of music, learn to play an instrument, or watch TV. I also have a Car, so some sort of car park is necessary. I am neat, tidy, and respectful of my surroundings and other people’s belongings. I can be quiet and chill, or fun and loud, depending on the occasion and the people I’m with.
Hi, my name is Leigh and I am a British nurse relocating to Melbourne for work. I am flying from the UK to Melbourne to complete my registration with the Australian nursing board and aim to secure a room during my visit in January. In my spare time I'm interested in all sorts; running, reading, chilling in PJ's all day, socialising, nights out, movies, drinks, dining out, live music, shopping..! Will want to explore and sample all that Melbourne has to offer! As a flatmate I am clean and considerate, I like to have a chat over a cup of tea but will respect your personal space. I enjoy a regular clean of the house and believe everyone should contribute with household supplies. I like to cook but enjoy it more when others can eat with me! If we can cook together then even better! Looking for a private room, don't mind sharing a bathroom. Looking to secure the right room quickly and smoothly within the short window I am in Melbourne.

Hey there, I’m a professional guy who’s looking a good place for long term either short term. I am into outdoors, rd trips, exploring new things and places. I’ m always down for a good meal, cooking or TV/Netflix with housemates. I am a tidy person and someone who loves to keep everything clean after myself. I’m very respectful, reasonably private but social, always happy for a chat but not a party person. I come with a car so off-street parking is a bonus otherwise on-street is just fine. I want to have a nice cozy room and chill place to come home to each night. Happy to pay upfront rent for a good place. Don’t hesitate for further chat. Best regards, Farhan
I am travelling to Australia in August 2019, for a few months as a break form my undergrad; I'll hopefully have a part-time internship or job so that I can live and travel within Australia or countries around! I'd love to share a home with anyone who's down for a laugh and exploring. I like a night out but also my alone time :)
I’m a creative! I’m working as a stylist, I love my job and working on art ( currently working on children’s books) as well as attending art events in our lovely city! I’m very friendly and I can keep to myself. I like hanging out and watching movies and have a chat after work. I love to cook, I’m a vegan (Not going to hate you if your not) and I can make pretty much any dish vegan💪🏻🌿 I’m tidy and I like to keep things clean, it just makes life easier I think 💕 I’m looking for a place that is keeping with the happy vibes and is cozy for Melbourne winter nights. I’m pretty open, friendly and I do like respect and good communication :) I’m not a party animal, I much prefer to enjoy a cup of tea and rugging up on the couch sketching and sharing a movie I’ve been in student accomodation and share houses before so I am an experienced and considerate house mate 💪🏻🌿 I have a Crazy little serivce dog in training and love to be somewhere with a yard and our own space Non smoker Not 420 friendly.
Hello! I'm Jan from Malaysia. I have been living in Melbourne since March 2018...recently took a trip home to visit the fam bam. Will be back in Melbourne around 14th January 2019 (move in date could be sooner / flexible). Looking for a PRIVATE, furnished room (basic furnishing will do), a house / room that is well insulated. I have a permanent residency, used to work as a financial auditor in the CBD with the Victorian Auditor General's Office. Looking to get back to working once I'm back in Melbourne. Looking to stay long term if all goes well :) I'm 29, clean and respectful of your space - would love to live with people of similar age group, who are socially outgoing. When I'm not at work, I am out with friends (movies and drinks :p), going on dates or snoozing. I have lived in share houses before, while in Melbourne. Had to give up my room as I had to leave for a long holiday and was not allowed to sub-lease the room. Happy to provide references if need be. Women preferred, but not fussed with gender as long as everyone is respectful and maintains a clean space. Prefer working adults rather than students. Happy to discuss / participate in a cleaning roster or hire a cleaner for the common areas. Cheers!
I'm kind, easy going, clean, multi faceted, and love a broad variety of music. I'm a full time residential painter. I make music but dont have instruments here so just use my headphones and laptop. I skateboard, snowboard, and play basketball. I love philosophy and psychology. At home in Canada I promote local musicians. I tend to keep it mellow during the week and like to have a few drinks on the weekend. Generally live a pretty balanced lifestyle.
I’m working in hospitality, love a couple of drinks on a rare night off but mostly love chilling out after work with a good book or a movie. I’m from the UK and I’m tidy but not a clean freak. Looking for fun friendly people to live with, not too fussy otherwise :)
Hi guys, we (Isa& Matt) are an easy-going and open-minded couple, hoping to find a comfy place in Melbourne. Isa travelled for two months up the East Coast and spent a lot of time surfing and spending money. I started studying and working part-time in October at the La Trobe Uni and live in the CBD right now, since it was convenient for my way to Uni (Collins Street). Isa will join me in Melbourne to work and have a good time! We´re both into sports, surfing and basically all the cool stuff Melbourne has to offer: electro, arts, flea markets and usually up for some bevies, if it fits in. I am planning to get myself a car in January - so if it´s possible to park close by it´d be great. Looking forward to catching up with you =) Isa& Matt
I'm really easy going, love to go to the gym and get outside to exercise, I love animals and especially love cooking. I'm studying my Master of Marketing Communications at the university of Melbourne and I'm really just looking for a nice bunch of people to make the move from Brisbane a bit nicer
Hi there, I’m Oscar. I’m very clean, and tidy, and I’m also a quiet person. I have lived in shared accommodation for many years, and I’m very respectful, positive and fun to be with. I’m from Spain, and I have been living in Zurich for the past few years. I just arrived to Melbourne where I’ve come to improve my English. I move by bicycle, and during my free time I love to cook, going to the beach, do sports and discover the city. Cheers, Oscar
Moving to Melbourne in Jan/Feb. I'm a Hairdresser w/ previous share house experience. Pretty easy to live with- happy to hang out and be social but also happy just doing my own thing! I love going to gigs, markets, making art & watching the footy (Carn Pies!). I’m hoping to have secured work before I move if not it then hopefully not soon after. Cheers :)
Hello! I'm Prita, from Indonesia. About to start grad school in Melbourne starting January 2019 after working in a children's nonprofit for the past 5 years. As a flatmate, I'm clean and tidy, especially in shared spaces. I can be social but also very much value my personal time and space. Like to pay my bills on time so they don't haunt me. On weekends I enjoy Netflixing (who doesn't :p), reading, going out for meals or drinks, and if lucky enough to live near parks or beaches, having a stroll. I'm looking for like-minded flatmates (and a flat) around my age or older, preferably female, who are kind, respectful, clean, and easy to live with. Would be great if we could occasionally hang out together or share meals/drinks at home. Cats (or dogs) would be a huge plus as I won't be able to bring mine :'(
looking for a perfect place to live,full-time.We are clean and tidy, non- smoker and don't mind if other do..we love cooking ,music and dance...we are flexible . Thanks
A bit about me, originally from Malaysia, have been in Australia for about 7 years now. First came here in 2011 to study, completed a law degree in 2015. I now run a small travel business. Most of my work are internet-based, so quite a lot of my work would be home-based, but I do have to go out for work quite a few times in a week. I also have a part-time job delivering newspaper in the morning, usually about 4-5 times a week. Might start doing it a bit less though, since I'm getting busier with the business. Ultimately I would want to go into teaching, so I am hoping to do my masters some time in the future. I can seem to be quite shy, but I am actually pretty outgoing at times. I feel like I am pretty easy to talk to and I am used to being in a large household, I grew up with 4 older brothers and a little sister, (with not many space I might add, so i'm very aware and concious about other people's comfort) and I went to a boarding school during my secondary school years. I have always been in a shared house after finishing school, so have heaps of experience living in a shared house setting. Very open to do most house work as I quite enjoy cleaning. Weirdly enough it can be quite therapeutic for me. Other things about me - I like travelling, (might be obvious since I have a travel business) so every now and then I'd try to go on some day trips or hiking trips, and whatnot. I have been going to gym quite regularly this year (hoping to keep that up) and usually quite open to trying new things! In terms of what I'm looking for, my main priority is just to look for a place that is clean, and mostly quiet in the evening or during nighttime. Apart from that, I really am not that fussy. Preferably would want to move in late January 2019, but very flexible to move in earlier too.
