Hello there! I am a 30 yo actress from Taiwan, and I also own a little Korean restaurant in the middle of Taipei city. I used to live in USA for school from age 16~22, so I have no problem communicating in English. I'm at the place in my life where I want to take a little break from my routine daily life, and experience living in another country again! I love my job in acting and also have a huge interest in hospitality. I'm also a foodie so that's why i opened a Korean restaurant with my friend back home. My future goal is to open another brunch and cafe place, so I'll be looking for jobs in cafes or restaurants on my working holiday in Melbourne in order to learn more in restaurant business. I am clean and tidy, love making new friends but also need my own space and time at home. Although i'm on my working holiday, i'm definitely not the party kind ;) I'm here to experience and learn about the culture. I prefer a healthy lifestyle, hitting gym, doing yoga, cooking occasionally in my spare time. I will arrive Melbourne on Sept. 13th, and will be staying at a abnb for a week, so I am looking for a private room close to the city with a budget under $250 to move in around Sept. 19th, hopefully with a like minded female roommate.
We are from Adelaide and looking forward to our new life in Melbourne. We are friendly, tidy, quiet people who enjoy nature, reading, travelling and sharing the occasional glass of wine with a warm home-cooked meal. I work in real estate, and Sim is a personal trainer who helps people with conditions.
I'm quiet, intellectual (if that's your thing- we don't have to talk), and financially stable so I can get rent in on time. I am willing to do more than my share of the chores because I could use the experience.
My name is Kiah, I'm 23 and am back in Melbourne after travelling for most of this year, attempting to sort my life out and find somewhere lovely to settle!! At the moment I am inspecting and applying in the Kew and Hawthorn area for a 2 bedroom place up to $225 a week, but my biggest priority is finding somewhere that can be homely and bright (lived in waay too many shitholes lmao). I'm not interested in moving into an already established place. I'll be working full time Monday - Friday and ideally would love a housemate who wants to cook yummy meals, binge watch trash tv and encourage each other to be fit during the week, then blow it all on the weekend over a bottle of wine or 3 and some 2000's music! I'm outgoing, light hearted and LOVE meeting new people, I make everyone look good coz I spend half my life falling over and making inappropriate jokes, love live music, travelling, weekend trips and just being little social butterfly. I see quite a lot of my friends - they're all lovely and love getting to know new people just as much as I do! I'll love you if you have good banter and a ridiculous sense of humour, thats all I'm really looking for. I'm transitioning between jobs so have the time do to the hard yards of inspections and applications, I have most of the household gear (including 10 Singstars) and I'm willing to purchase more stuff if needed. I'm keen to meet potential housemates for a coffee (although I say coffee but I am that adult who'll order a milkshake) if you reckon this could work!
Hey PALS!!! I am originally a Sydney Gal but moving down to Melbourne for work. I love a drink, trash TV and asian food. I will happily steam dumplings and cook migoreng for my room mates as I can't really do much else in terms of the kitchen. Open to learning though! Being new to the city I would love to have not only a room mate but a friend! Work full time in Advertising and my new office will be in Richmond. xx
I'm Kittiya 31 Thai female, work full time as a qualified remedial massage therapist. I'm friendly, funny and tidy person :) Love movies and cup of tea, also social drinks. I'm looking for a private room in the share nice and clean house + nice housemates who know to respect each other space and not a party animal in the house :)
Hey future roomies, I'm relocating from the Gold Coast to Melbourne at the start of next year to work full time. Im really social but love my own space and respect privacy. I don't know many people in Melbourne and am very social, so would love to live with some girls that love a cheeky drink after work and abit of a dance. As well as loving a quiet night in, having a bit of a gossip, ordering way to much uber eats and watching abit of netflix. Looking in St Kilda or Prahran areas but will consider anywhere. Hit me up girls if you think we'll be good roomies!!
Laura and I are Kiwis who have been out of university for nearly two years now. Laura is a pharmacist and I am a Product Manager. I've just finished a gig working at a cricket related start up in Wellington and have just accepted a sweet offer at Envato in Melbourne. We are both super sporty, love to socialise and want to meet some cool people. Having played rugby my whole life, I would be keen for a code swap to social AFL so if that is something you can help with I'll be stoked. We currently live in a flat of 7 people and we are like a family. We are fun to live with and also know how to clean up after ourselves and that flat supplies don't magically replenish themselves. So you won't find us slacking. I will be moving over around the 10th of September and Laura will follow a few weeks after. Really keen to integrate quickly into Melbourne so hit us up if you think you can help. Cheers
I'm an easy-going, tidy guy. Always good for beer, a chat, and a laugh. I'm moving to Melbourne from Brisbane for my grad job. So when I'm not working I like to socialise; explore what's happening in the city; or try to get outside and go for a run or hike, try to stay active basically. In saying that, I am a fan of just chilling out and relaxing at home every now and again.
Hi - Im an artist in Melbourne for two weeks visiting from London ( NZ born ). Will be out and about writting and meeting people and looking for a clean and friendly home for the duration. Alan
Hey potential roomie! I'm a full-time employed part-time student studying biomedicine and exercise science (1 more year to go!) which keeps me pretty occupied Mon-Sat. When I get some free time I love heading out to the you yangs, the beach or anywhere outside if the suns shining! Sundays are usually a nice chill homely day with catching up on some study, brunch out somewhere nice and watching the footy if there's a good game on! I'm a big sports fan (NBA and AFL) but I definitely am not a fanatic you'll find kitted out in gear on the couch every Saturday (unless Richmond/OKC make the finals). I enjoy reading a great book, I'm slowly working towards a nice collection which will be coming along with me. I love a great binge on TV shows too (Friends, GOT, Suits & the list goes on) I guess what you get from me as a housemate is someone who's relaxed, clean, reliable, not home too often mon-fri! Only thing I'd really love is an ensuite/own bathroom! Feel free to give me a call/text to chat anymore. Cheers, James
*** I DO NOT SMOKE AND WOULD LIKE TO LIVE W SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T*** I am a bubbly, social conversationalist; I have lived and worked in several countries, Australia being my 5th home. I love to laugh and talk about lotsa things - politics, development, startups, travel, charity. In my private time I like to day dream about new ideas and create change. I love sports and like to take big walks. I have two beautiful, mixed race boys who mainly live with their mother at the mo, one is 8 the other 3.5. My big boy is a Hawks fun; the little one a Bull Dogs fun; I am fun of both teams obviously but my real heart is w Arsenal - 20 years in a row. Isn't that true of all Africans? lol - I am pure Aussie. I used to live in leafy Eltham and ran my own business. I am now separated and single and recently sold our property. I am looking for new life and challenges; I am currently working on two start-up ideas and want to be closer to the city. I love to solve BIG PROBLEMS and call myself an entreprenuer. Who knows may be one day I will actually become one after I land the big dollars :). Sorry that was wrong. I'll land the big dollars soon or later. Sigh.....! I'm looking for a private room within a house to co-share costs - my budget is between $150 -200 pw and will pay upfront for atleast 20 weeks in advance (3 / 4k). I prefer a 2BR house i.e. a house with only two occupants. A single parent with child(ren) would be a great housemate. Hit me up if you have a room; male or female and you don't mind living w a genius (lol im not) but I am v sociable. Age group from 29 to 55 is preferable, but I am also pretty chill and can hang out w Melbourne's baddass teens lol. I can handle street slangs v well and can repeat "like" in each of my sentences. "Its like he doesn't like me"; "it's like she married a crappy guy" :) I hold a masters' degree and prior to starting my own business I worked with a bank and a large not for profit agency in Melbourne. I have lived in Melbourne for over six years and I am permanent (i've postponed my citizenship test since January lol - :) If you have any questions please ask - I have put all cards on the table. NB. I do not like racist people so if you are one and I contact you just ignore me, I will understand. Thank you for reading my profile. Make it beautiful and contact me if you want a room mate. I am an awesome bloke / dude / guy / hunk whatever you wanna call me. Lotsa people who chill out w me like me instantly. They honestly do lol. Cheers.
Hey there, I'll keep things short and sweet. I'm in NSW however soon will be moving to Melbourne to a position as a Assistant Planner for Jetstar. I'm a clean, non-smoker and I work in airlines in data entry as mentioned which is as invigorating as it sounds. In my spare time I game, build computers, fire twirl and watch a many different genres of movies and anime. I usually keep to myself though I am quite social and happy to crack a joke or two I can relate to most anyone and find common ground wherever it is to be found. I'm currently studying Human Resources while I get contracted for work and have a keen interest in how structure and organisation works within a corporation as well as a strong working interest in the social aspects of managing people.
Hello, we are Florence and Nicolas, a couple from Paris, both fluent in English. We are coming in Melbourne to find a job. I am working as an event manager and Nicolas is a web developer. One of the most important thing to us is that our future place is clean, and that we have our own bathroom or ensuite. We are looking for a real home. We are both chill, we like spending time watching tv and netflix, but we also like sharing a bottle of wine or beer sometimes. We are not too much of the party style, but we do like to go out in bars occasionally. We like company but we also enjoy our privacy. Nicolas is a swimmer and I like yoga. We both like to cook.
I am a 21 year old medical student/future doctor taking a year off before completing the final year of my degree to chill out and pursue some goals with my other passion in life, music. I am currently working part time as a phlebotomist in a GP Clinic, as well as pursuing music in the evenings/days off. Almost all of my practice can be done through headphones so I won't be making much noise in the house, if that is a concern. That said, I'd love to find a share-house of easy-going, friendly individuals who have a good balance between socialising within the house and having their own time/activities. I don't smoke, have any pets or other dependents.
You can call me Kat. Things I love: pasta, wine, the outdoors, netflix, music festivals/gigs, art. Things I don't love: Mushrooms. I'm mature for my age and reliable.I do love to socialise but am also very chill, will respect your personal space as well as the house in keeping it clean. I'm currently living in Brisbane, however am relocating to Melbourne the 17th of September.I also work full time as an Admin Assistant and will be looking for the same work in Melbourne. Am interested in teamups or searching for a private room in a share house; feel free to contact.
Hi, I am Elen. I just graduated from master degrees and i am going to find a job. I am looking for a single room. I am pretty neat, clean, respectful and easy going. Hope to share a house with easy going people, neat and clean. I always pay the rent on time, wouldn't mind to have drinks on weekend and I prefer to share the flat with people who I can call friends. ^^
Hi there! :-) I'm a 25 year old Norwegian who just moved to Melbourne to do one semester of my masters in economics and business administration at the University Of Melbourne. I'm really sociable and I would love to find a place to live with like-minded people. I love to travel, explore new things and get to know new people. I'm a tidy person who is used to living with other people and respect my roommates. I'm always up for fun and I would say that I'm an easy going person. I am interested in finding roommates who would like to make dinner together from time to time, go out to grab a beer or a cup of coffee, or just chill out. If you need a new roommate and think that I could fit in I would love to hear from you :-)
Irish gal travelling solo for the last few years. Have been living and working in Queensland for the last 5 months now. Finally making my way down south as the weather is due to get better. I'm a little older than your average backpacker. So a party house (while I'm accomplished at it lol) isn't my priority anymore. Don't get me wrong though, I’m Irish and were a social bunch. I would like to move in somewhere that’s social on the weekends/mid-week & to live with friendly likeminded folk. Would be great to meet people who are happy to welcome a newbie into their group for a few months. I would be seeking a short rental of 3 to 6 months. Would have to be furnished to a basic standard but luckily, everything I owe fits into a backpack. Looking forward to leaving the hostel life behind for a few months. Bit about me Big rugby fan, white wine & seafood fanatic, pub quiz extraordinaire, proud syfi geek, not a massive fan of Guinness or potatoes (shook horror) & I know many pointless card games which I'm happy to teach
Hi there, Not searching, I have found a place
