I am an outgoing 24 year old currently working in Finance in the construction industry. I work hard and after work I like to go to the gym or see friends. I am not much of a party animal, but I do enjoy the occasional night out at a pub/bar (most weekends). I am super clean and tidy but also chill and fun to be around. My lease is about to finish so trying to find somewhere just as good as my current place and your home looks great! Been living in Richmond for a year in a brand new town house. I’ve been living with 3 others in my current place and we got on really well. Sad to be leaving them, but we are all going separate ways. I also come with my very miniature dachshund Woody. I’ve been told he’s the cutest dachshund people have ever met and is fully house trained. Have not had issues with him at all living in a brand new house and he just stays on the balcony during the day when I’m at work. Looking to share with 1 other or a couple.
Hi there! My name is Ebony and I'm looking for a new place to call home with my gorgeous 12 year old cat Puff. I work full time at a College and will often work the last 2 Saturdays of the month as well (meaning I can pay rent on time). I did live alone in a small one bedroom apartment in Toorak but as my lease is up in March I am wanting to live with other people again and in a busier, younger neighbourhood. I am looking to move between the 16th of Feb and the 20th of Feb. I come with all my own furniture but happy to get rid of it if I need with a bit of notice. I have been in share housing for 5 years before having my own place. I loved living alone but missed having other people around. I'm looking for somewhere to call home rather than just a place where I pay rent so I'd really love for us to get along. I love a Netflix binge, a good gossip over wine and the odd Saturday lay in. I am an avid ubereats enthusiast but happy to cook and share a meal with my future housies. Puff is a 12 year old indoor cat. He is a chubby all black (except his little grays, hes old) thing with a lot of personality. If he isnt laying in the sun living his best life He loves playing with his toys. Puff follows me around everywhere and is my little spoon of a night time. Since he is old he doesn't tend to ruin any furniture and loves a good cuddle (I sometimes find him sleeping on my chest when I wake up from a cheeky couch nap. ). I got him from a shelter about 6 months ago so we definitely come as a package deal. If you think my fur baby and I will be a good fit for your house please let me know! I'm starting to inspect houses now. Looking forward to meeting you!
Self-employed creative professional. Part-time student. I love nature, painting, yoga and holistic living. I'm a pretty relaxed person. I have an independent nature and like my own space, but also love cooking, sharing food and time with friends. Respectful of peoples' boundaries, clean and tidy person and organised with paying bills on time etc Looking for a quiet house that feels like a home, and it would be great to live with housemates who have a similar peaceful vibe/flow. My routine tends to involve an early start, so finding a room that is quiet at night is important. I would prefer an all-female household, but flexible with this.
I've done every job under the sun within hospitality and construction so I'm awesome at cleaning and at fixing things around the house. I cook damn good potatoes. Im from the UK planning to stay in Melbourne for at least a year and just started working restoring sash windows over here which is what I've been doing with myself in the UK (Brighton) for the last 4 years. I love condiments, good conversation, tea, live music, jenga, carving stuff out of wood and dancing to funk and soul in the shower. I recently won one of those light up spinny type pictures of Jesus at a pub quiz and if you don't think that would be an asset to your household then I think you need to re-evaluate your priorities. Looking for a chilled out house with people who don’t take themselves too seriously but also keep the place clean. Free to come round and have a look most evenings and looking to move into somewhere as soon as possible. Thanks muchly
Hi, I’m Sumin from Korea. I have Work & Holiday Visa and am working in the cafe as a full time barista. I’m looking for a room where great people live who would be my friends :) I’d like to be great flatmate as well. I’m sociable but also respect personal space. Actually, I’m not the party person but enjoy having dinner or drinking beer together. I have some experiences that I lived in shared house. I’m clean and have common sense about living with other people :)! I’m planning to live in Melbourne till at least July. I can move to your house on 2nd Feb. If the room is still available and you guys think I’m the person that fits well, please text me. I’m usually work till 5pm so it is quite hard to get a call. Thanks Warm regards, Sumin.
Hello to everyone! I'm an Italian backpacker and I'm searching a place where to stay or, at least, where use the kitchen and the toilet and indicate as residential address, because I can sleep in my van. I already have a work and a useful amount of money with me, and generally I didn't have any problem to get a work here. Cheers!
I'm a masters student looking for long term stay. I work a few days a week, study the rest. Generally busy during business hours, but in the evenings I like to spend time at home reading and cooking. I intend to be away most weekends. I'm vegan, but if you can get past that I'm happy to share meals. I'm learning the harp. It's on par with acoustic guitar in terms of noise-level, and I only play when I know I won't disturb anyone. I'm always up for a chat, and I like people who are different than me. I'm a bit of a nerd; a good boardgame sesh is irrestitable.
We are two best friends who are quiet and keep to ourselves but also like to socialise. We like to keep a clean and tidy house without being ridiculously meticulous. We’re both studying - Grace a Masters and me (Margaret) my second Bachelors degree. We are both LGBTQ+ and are happy to live with a couple! We come with a cat each so able to happily live with cats is a must. Most importantly, we are both musicians so housemates would need to be okay with us practising our instruments regularly. Looking to move sometime in January!
Hello! Favorite things: Yoga, traveling, cooking healthy meals, plants, having a glass of wine, reading, hiking and biking! Work: I spent my time in the HR world, recruiting full time. Personality: Patient, a natural connector, social (but also need my down time), organized and like to have a good laugh. During the week I’m fairly chill and keep in low key due to work. Generally home later as I go to yoga most days after work. I love trying new recipes as a way to unwind and prep for the next day. On the weekend I like to head to markets, dinners with friends and being a bit more social. A day hike is also a personal favorite thing or a weekend getaway! Looking for a chill roomie as I’m fairly easy going myself. I’m not really tied to a specific time frame for the place - this is up for discussion. I can generally read behavior so can suss out if space is needed and when to be social! I also like to keep things tidy as I enjoy a clean, fresh space!
I’m definitely an easy going person and a nice person too. Pay my rents on time. Mostly working and you will see me late evenings. Love talking to people. Good cook. Im a full time working professional Engineer. I have been living in share houses for more than 8 years. I prefer long term accomodation. I would highly prefer a place that’s not a party house but I’m down for an occasional dinner or a drink. Prefer no loud music but if the vibes are then maybe once in a while.
Hi. I've just landed a Job in Melbourne. I'm a 31 year old Male professional working as a Construction Project Manager. I like Motorsport, Soccer and Video Games. I would like a place that doesn't mind me batch cooking food so a little bit of freezer space is required and doesn't mind my partner, who is a teacher, to stay during school holidays. Any questions please feel free to ask.
Hello there! My name is Kim, I am a Graphic Designer living in Melbourne for a year now. At the moment I am looking for a room in the north of Melbourne and some great housemates to live with. I am an easy going person who likes a chat or a wine with my roomies but also keep it pretty low key and respect other people’s space. Also I am always keen to keep my home tidy and clean. I like design and art, movies, hangs at Edi, don’t mind a little boogie every now and then and cooking with friends. Originally from Germany I came here for traveling, stayed because I fell in love with the city right away. I am looking forward to find a great place to call home.
Hey! :) I'm a 26 year old female from Scotland looking for a place to call home – especially one that would come if a dog. I'm a considerate housemate, very clean, tidy and easy-going. I'm sociable and love a chat but also happy to have my own space if need be. I’m studying for a Diploma of Kinesiology at the moment and working part time so out of the house Monday - Friday, 9-5. When I’m not doing that I love reading, drawing and getting out exploring Melbourne! I play in a Pipe Band too so enjoy practising my drumming - not on a real drum so no noise complaints. :)
Hello hello! I'm twenty-six, from the US, but have been living outside of the states for the past seven years. I dearly love to travel, but Melbourne has enraptured me; I've been here for seven months and intend to stay another nine (at the very least). I adore the cinema, meandering chats, copious amounts of coffee and lounging in the park. As a housemate, I'm happy to be sociable and do activities, or equally, do my own thing! I work as a receptionist in East Melbourne, but I studied history in the UK; neither my job nor my studies define me. I get along with a wide-variety of people and would love to be part of a nifty house!
I’m 27 and work full time office job in the CBD. I like to chill during the week as I work till 6 most nights but always up for a chat and glass of wine. When I’m not working I’m catching up with friends and family. Also a qualified makeup artist so you get an in house Makeup artist haha! Looking for a home not just a room, with some similar age people who would hopefully become friends. But have done share houses before so get the personal space and cleanliness part :) Flexible with move in date
Heya! I’m a friendly tidy Muso. Food lover and animal lover. Happy to chill and chat with a bevy and a tune, or do my own thing. Love food adventures and live gigs :) Looking for a chilled, respectful household. Prefer a bit of yard and a bit of storage but mostly looking for the right people to share a good home vibe :)
Hey, we're a young couple moving from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland on the 7th of February. Nico (left) is going into Animation at the Victorian College of the Arts and is a Retail Assistant at Typo, and James (right) works in service at Coles. We are a tidy couple who keep to ourselves but don't mind a bit of a chat and since neither of us drive, parking won't be a necessity. What we do in our spare time is play video games and explore our surroundings, so privacy won't be much of a problem and we certainly aren't the partying type. (* Unable to attend inspections as we need an immediate home to come to, but we are willing to do a video call of some kind*) We are willing to stay between 6 and 12 months, stay length is flexible.
Hey there! I am an occupational therapy student/mental health worker from California looking for accommodation for about a year. I'm more than happy to share house keeping duties and contribute to household items. I'm also hoping to find a place with a space to park my car, or with street parking available. A bit about me: I would consider myself tidy, considerate, and easy to get along with. Some of my interests include reading, the environment, sustainability, rock climbing, attempts at baking, and photography. I'm open to meeting people from all different walks of life; and would like to stay in a house share that has an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone in it.
*I Literally was accepted & moved into a townhouse a month ago, just found out the landlord is moving back in so we're all going. Help me out? :) Moved to Melbourne years ago from Brisbane, pretty chilled; don't mind for a chat. Love the leafy suburb where I live and have for a year, and my housemates! Work full time, try to keep fit. Always pay bills & rent on time. Also been trusted with MANY housesits so I know how to clean, even how to change a toilet roll and take a bin out :)
I’m a full time PhD candidate close to submission and have got a job offer. Born in China, I have been to melbourne for 8 years and well house trained. I enjoy good food, racket sports and good sleep. I’m tidy, responsible, hardworking, sharing and down-to-earth - the common sense really. I don’t drink to get drunk. I don’t have tattoos or piercing. I don’t like parties but for socializing I would go sometimes. I’m looking for someone with similar traits.
