Hi potential flatmates, I’m a 26 year old Egyptian looking for a private room in a place I can call HOME. I’m easy going, open-minded and very keen to live in a clean and tidy place. I respect each person’s own privacy/space but I also like to socialize every now and then, so I'm not the kind that always stays isolated in their room. I've an engineering degree, like to cook and play music. So hit me up if you got a place for me! Peace:) Omar
I am a full-time international student originally from South Korea, but I also grew up in Japan and in the States. My American accent would be the first thing you notice about me! I have been living in Melbourne for over a year studying IT, and before I came here I worked in the fashion industry for about 8 years. So if you need someone to choose an outfit or fix IT-related issues, I would be happy to help :) I spend most of my time studying but I enjoy a couple of beers and going out from time to time. As I don't get to meet many women at the uni, I prefer to live with cool ladies to hang out on the weekends! Brunch, anyone? -I like to keep my stuff organized and clean -I love animals and would love to live with dogs -but unfortunately, I'm allergic to cats -I'm a non-smoker, but I do vape -NBN preferred -Looking to move-in before mid-June, for a long-term stay (12-month minimum)
Hello! I’m 21, originally from country Victoria and have lived in Melbourne for the last 2 years of my life! For work, I serve tea and coffee at 35,000ft in the air, a flighty, which means I am a shift worker, mainly early mornings, and often away from home at least once a month either for work or visiting family back home. I’m a very organised, clean person and super easy going with not much that fazes me. For fun, I love going out discovering new coffee/brunch places, visiting friends, figuring out how to keep a plant alive and talking to anyone about any kind of dog. I am looking for people who I can trust to live with and are similar in being genuine, organised, clean, love to chat but also appreciate ones own space!
Hello! Emrah here, a creative and happy minimalist. I'm a nature-loving nerd who's mindful, healthy, open, introverted, left-leaning, respectful, smiley and very easy going. Income-wise I grind Monday-to-Friday-nine-to-five as a computer tech out in Fitzroy. I usually get up super early to get things done before work because I reckon getting up and straight into work-mode isn't a great way to set the tone. Creative-sanity-wise, I'm a wannabe artist, sombre musician, keen photographer, hopeless writer, life contemplating when around fire dad-joker, trained horticulturist, learned designer, mechanically minded fixer-upper, car tinkerer, bush-walker, river swimmer, basketballer and old thing restorer to name a few things... What a mouthful. Might be time to mention I have two cars: one is for parts and is currently stored in a garage that I rent but it would be cool to find a house that can host the garaged car on the property - I’m happy to pay more to have this privilege, or hopefully find a home at the right price so that I may continue to lease the garage. I'm told I'm funny, so I guess I have a sense of humour? (the modesty on this guy) I like learning, real-talking or just holding space and not talking at all. I'm not shy and I won't hide in my room all the time. However, I do need lone time at my desk being creative/crafty doing things like editing photos, making music, practising flying aeroplanes in simulation or smashing out some life-admin in hopes to free up the weekends for activities such as flying real aeroplanes and/or socialising. My personal space is minimal, organised, tidy and functional. Not a fan of hoarding or leaving my things all over the place personally. When it comes to resource usage and cleaning of shared spaces I'm super low impact. My strict European mother taught me good early on in the game. I'm resource conscious and I clean up after myself, always, especially when cooking. I clean as I go. I spill something I wipe it up. I find cleaning to maintain is a lot easier than cleaning to repair... In saying that, I'm not averse to having a chores/cleaning schedule if it is a must. However, I'd probably do better in an environment where we all trust one another to take initiative and not need the aid of a chore system... Ideally, you have the maturity of a common 30-plus-year-old being who's happy, positive, healthy, switched on, ambitious, house-proud, respectful and down-to-earth. Ok thanks bye now!
Hi, my (legal and given) name is Tu (pronounced like the number "2" but with a tone raise in the end) but you can call me Danny. I'm a 20-year-old full-time student at Swinburne University. I'm moving to Melbourne this July to commence my study for my Bachelor degree in Design as an international student from Vietnam. I'm currently looking for a room for me and another friend of mine. The best scenario would be 2 private rooms but we can make do with one room for both of us to share. We're both males and are looking for a place to stay during the 2 years of our education in the uni. Our maximum budget per week is $200 but can be higher if it includes the bills. Our school locates in Hawthorne so we are looking for rooms in the same area or in the surrounding suburbs that are near to public transport. As a flatmate, I'm clean, very organized and well-disciplined as I have worked part-time in a restaurant for 2 years beforehand. Housechore is a familiar thing for me since I help my parents doing it a lot at my home in Vietnam, so I will happy to assist you with any chores. To describe my personality, I would say I'm an ambivert, I can talk for hours with you but can also respect your boundary and personal space whenever you need them (and expect the opposite). I'm also an active listener and very open to communication (as part of my career's traits) so if there are any problems, I'm all for an honest discussion. My favorite pastime activities are watching Youtube videos + Netflix series (currently on my watchlist is The Society and Stranger Things). Favorite artists of mine include Lauv, Troye Sivan. Halsey, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift but I'm always open to new artist/genre. One small note is that I'm openly gay so it would be awesome if my flatmates are allies/members of LGBTQ+ community.
Hi-dily ho, potential neighbourinos. We are Ruby and Brendan, lovers of all things Melb. We are are currently couch-surfing in hostels in until we can find a place - love us!!! About Ruby - Likes: red wine, art, jazz, laughter, long talks about the universe, candles, sarcasm, wit, linen clothing, graphic design, magazine creation, fairy lights, writing, British comedy, a healthy balance of socialising and alone time, cooking, baking, environmental conservation and herbalism. An enormous fan of good boys and good girls of the feline, canine and even bovine variety. Dislikes: A lack of fairy lights, vegemite, most politicians, small talk, the fact that we are sitting in a hostel instead of having a huge family feast with you right now. About Brendan - Aye och the noo! Brendan is from the land of kilts and monsters of the loch, but don't let the Australian accent fool you, once he stubs his toe or spills his (deathly strong) coffee you'll be lucky enough to encounter Groundskeeper Wille in the flesh. Likes: anime, the country Scotland, the thought of Scotland, the word Scotland, great coffee, open minds, chocolate milk, respect, kind hearts and Rick & Morty. Disclaimer: he will not try and tell you you are unintelligent if you don't understand everything - he doesn't either. Brendan aspires to learn the banjo and kick start my descent into madness...calling all musicians to persuade him to choose acoustic instead. Dislikes: Ingenuity, psytrance, stale conversation, dirtiness, daytime TV, the fact that he is yet to meet any friends in Melbourne to co-play the Banjo with. We are quite different in many ways, but we are 100% on the same page regarding respect, reliability and responsibility. We're Australia (and Scotland's) answer to Ange and Brad...whatever that truly means. Send me a message if you would like two more people in your lovely Victorian abode to cook, clean, sing and light candles to the point of a potential fire hazard, because we would love to be there.
I work full-time and am generally pretty social. I currently have one housemate and am a considerate, clean housemate. I'm seeking a share-house and am pretty flexible with requirements.
Heya :)) I am moving to Melbourne to study Arts at unimelb in July and looking for somewhere to call home! I am down to earth, creative and love catching a gig, getting outside 🌿 and the occasional chill drink. I would ideally like to be settled somewhere with some good souls who are down for a bit of a chat/shared meal/social vibe sometimes and are fairly clean and easy going. Will bring house plants and veggie seeds if needed! I am reliable, always pay rent on time, enjoy my downtime/own space and clean up after myself etc. Hope to be established somewhere by mid/end of July latest.
I'm Georgia, 27, English and in Melbourne for 12 months. This is my second year in the city, and I love it. I'm looking to rent short-term in a friendly share-house, and open to location. I'm open to length of stay. So also about me.. I'm relaxed and sociable- a good listener, and like to learn about new things and people. I'm creative, open-minded, left-wing, optimistic. I also LOVE dancing. And laughing. I'm clean, tidy etc. and have had numerous flatshares before, and ideally want to get on well with my flatmates. I like to cook (happy to be group chef), a night out, a night in, a night somewhere in between etc etc. I'm musical (I play piano and like to sing and watch jazz stuff), like art, literature and generally happy to try anything I haven't tried before. Should go without saying but I'm also vegan friendly and LGBT+ friendly! I also love animals, but am looking for somewhere without pets at the moment. Hope this has given some sort of impression of me. I'd love to hear from you if you think I might be a good fit, and come meet you and see the place. Cheers, Georgia
Born in Sydney and moved to melb for uni and because I love the culture here (specifically live music aspect). I am a melb uni student and chill with everything while keen to share with people who are also friendly and like to keep organised/keen + respectful. I have lived with housemates before in Sydney and always had a great time. I love music and like to go to festivals but keep a relatively quiet home. Always keen to banter and enjoy watching most sports like football/basketball and ofc tv shows like game of thrones/rick and Morty etc.
