Work as an International Project Manager for a global fashion retailer. Enjoy being social within the household! I'm a fully functional adult, so I know how to be clean and respectful of others and there belongings. Want to know more? than please throw me a shout! if you feel you've got the right place for me.
Hey there, I'm Cathy, a 31 year old social worker from the US. I've been in Melbourne 3 years, and my cat, Turtle, and I are looking to a new place to call home closer to my job. I work the typical 9-5 M-F kind of hours as a case manager, and prefer to spend my free time cooking, gardening, dancing, hiking - my out-of-work time is really important for self-care, so I need my home to be my sanctuary. Turtle is a total cuddle ball and very talkative. He loves roaming around outside but is a scaredy cat and comes running back in as soon as a bird squawks. I use public transport and ride my bike, love the Melb coffee scene, and don't really party much. I'd love a relatively clean/tidy place to live where we can relax, have lots of plants, and have housie meals every so often!
Hi I'm Annabel (Annie), a 20 year old student from the UK. I am studying Social Anthropology at the University of Melbourne for the next year. Some things I enjoy include: photography, dogs, going out with friends, glitter, Michel Foucault, cooking ("makes a mean guac" - current housemate), memes, wine, hockey and Step Up 2 the Streets but I am keen to try new things whilst in Aus. I have a big family, and have just spent the last two years living with 7 other people, so I am used to living in big groups (as well as all the mess and noise that entails). It also means that I'm good at cooking for/with others, and keeping clean in a busy place. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and getting involved in a new house.
Hi! Hi ! I’m Emma, a baker originally from England. I came to Australia with my girlfriend to travel last August. We planned to stop in Melbourne to work for 6 months. Anna’s been offered a sponsorship and I’m an Australian citizen, so we’ve decided to stay at least another year due to loving our jobs and the area so much!! ((We’re looking for separate places)) I work two bakery jobs, one in Fitzroy and one in Kensington. I’m looking for a place that will feel like a home with housemates that can become friends to hang out with sometimes. In my spare time I like to bake and cook at home, watch tv shows and do yoga.
I'm an outgoing Kiwi with a sharp sense of humour who is moving back to Melbourne after 6 months in South America. In the evenings I like to come home and relax but on the weekends I love to socialise and am always keen to have a few drinks. I am after somewhere chilled but clean where I can veg, meet some people and have a good time.
Hi, I'm Andrew. I'm 26, I manage an Aussie designer clothing store in Souh Yarra. I love to go out but equally love to stay in. When I'm not working, I love to gym, spend time with my friends, I love a good Netflix binge (most recently Schitt's Creek - so good btw), I love reading and occasionally playing piano/video games. But never fear - my piano is electric and comes with headphones so no noise disruptions, I promise. I’ve lived in share houses before and appreciate our personal space but also love having a meal or drink together from time to time. I’m tidy and respectful, I’m a non smoker and a pet lover. I love to practice new recipes for baked deliciousness so hopefully you won’t mind being my guinea pig?!?
Hello future flat mates and friends! My move-in date is around 25 of June ( would be negotiable) I am a full-time PR manager working in Aus Fashion group in Shanghai but I will move to Melbourne for achieving my next academic goal. I am hard working, clean, tidy and respectful. I have lived in shared accommodation my whole life so I understand the intricacies of having to accommodate and enjoy others and their personalities.I love talking about the life&the world. I also love fashion. I like people who are totally different. I am looking for a roommate who are tidy and easygoing.
Hello ! I'm Samuel, a 19 years old french student in political studies, doing a year exchange in Melbourne. I'm looking for a place to spend an awesome time in Australia. I'm pretty easy going, I can also cook quite well. I like chilling home, but also going out. I want to explore everything in Australia.
I'm 25 from Melbourne pretty easy going and accepting of all kinds of people. I'm open minded and very adaptable. I respect personal space but don't mind having a chat or drink here and there. I'm an artist so I come with many books, paintings and crafty things. I love gardening an fresh flowers.
I'm very good at keeping clean, most you'll have to wait is a couple hours for dishes to be done. I'm sociable, but like to keep to my self most of the time unless I'm brought into the conversation. I'm Canadian, so you get that exotic factor hahaha. I like to imagine that I'm funny, and I'm fairly active so if anyone needs a gym buddy or wants to skate board I'm down. You don't need to worry about me being thrown out of the country because I already have a full setup in Australia including a phone number and tax file number since I'm a dual citizen and I've been there before!
Hi there! I'm looking for a new home (long term) with some cool people in Fitzroy/Carlton/Parkville/Brunswik East area. A bit about myself: I'm 23 years old, originally from Russia, been living in Australia for 5 years. I really love to laugh at myself and love people who have good banter and don't take life tooo seriosly. I'm very open minded and love everything creative, arts, photography, good music, unusual movies etc. I'm pretty busy, but when I'm not pretty busy I love going to gigs/markets/doing crafts/eat cheese/drink wine/drink beer etc. I also enjoy talking about deep stuff like the universe, planets, power of mind and why we are here🌍:)) Workwise: I work full time in financial planning industry & planning to start my masters in a year. Can help you to become rich. Roomwise: I'm a big fan of natural light and plants. I can bring you the plants, but I don't have my own bed and wardrobe, so looking for something at least semi furnished. I'm not rushing to move out, just want to find likeminded people and a nice place!:) (somewhere in July-August would be great). Let me know if you have something suitable! If you need to stalk - insta: ulianakusik Thanks, Uliana
I’m a super friendly and relaxed person, always ready to do something new, go for an adventure, getting crafty or having a few drinks. I love cooking (vegetarian), watching docos, going to festivals learning new things, teaching others new things and anything else that involves being with and meeting new people. I’m currently living in Sunbury and want to to move closer to work, I’m brunswick. I work full time as a property manager and really do enjoy what I do. I have an indoor cat, Nala. She doesn’t do much, usually just eats and sleeps. Hoping to meet some wicked, like minded people and live in happy, communal hub with bright energy.
Hello all! My name is Trenton Marable and I'm an engineering exchange student from America that will be studying at UniMelb this coming semester. I love many different outdoor activities, including: hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, water sports, ultimate frisbee, etc... I'm looking forward to exploring all the different parts (and food) of Melbourne so if you already know of places, or wanna tag along, that's a plus. I will definitely need to be studying a lot throughout the week, but will enjoy going out on the weekends. I will respect your space and expect you to respect mine, but that doesn't mean we can't hangout, get to know each other, cook together, and have fun sometimes. Location: Anywhere that you think I could get to the UniMelb campus from in a reasonable amount of time (you would know better than me). I'd prefer my own room, but would be open to sharing. I'm looking for flatmates that share somewhat similar interests, are down for an occasional spontaneous adventure, respect privacy, but also enjoy hanging and going out. If you think we'd get along, and have a place for me to stay, hit me up! If you have an iPhone, you can text me through iMessages, or just message me on here...
I am a neat and organized person with a great sense of humour who is really into video games and programming. I mostly keep to myself but do enjoy the occasional chat. I am currently studying at RMIT.
Interested in a place with two rooms available for me and a friend who are both working in Melbourne. We are easy going, clean and tidy friends in our mid-late 20’s. Love the social aspect of living with people - house meals, watching films, housemate outings etc whilst respecting each others spaces. Looking for accommodation in Carlton/ Carlton North/ Fitzroy/ Fitzroy/ Northcote/ Brunswick/ Brunswick East and Brunswick West areas. Preferably furnished.
Hey, I'm Alex just turned 27 (30 is coming quick) and from France. It's been 6 months that I'm living in Australia, and I stayed mostly in Melbourne just spent a month in queensland doing some farm picking. I'm now working in retail in CBD and so looking for a flat next to it (or not too far actually). Before Australia I've been travelling in south east Asia for 5 months, otherwise I enjoy life as much as I can, and so looking for nice people to share houselife with!
A pretty chilled individual. Final year law student at La Trobe University. Working part time for a firm in the city. Likes the outdoors and country. Been share house trained. Ideally I want to find a place with a long term lease (+12 months) where I consider home in the north eastern suburbs. I enjoy looking after a place and keeping it clean, warm, and welcoming. I am quite easygoing and sociable but also understands everyone has his/her own life and is entitled to privacy at home. I have great references from different real estate agents and private landlords with whom I have lived with over the years in the area. I will be ready to move anytime between mid July to August.
Hi there I'm Jing and a first-year science student in unimelb. I'm pretty chill, don't really have massive opinions for things around the house. Will always pay rent on time, keep the common area clean but won't flip out if there's some dirty dishes in sink or clothes and stuff lying on the floor. I'm Chinese, speaks Mandarin, English and sometimes Gibberish...Respect privacy and different habits for sure. Love drawing, sewing, going to parks, cycling, binge Bojack... I get commissions and draw custom portraits/illustrations from photos, guess that could count as my part-time job for now :0 Please reach out if you are one person short when applying somewhere which postcode lies between 3051 and 3056, my move-in date is flexible, but ideally start around July. If you are still browsing the apartments on market, I'd love to team up and go to inspections and all that:) Thanks for your time reading this
