Hi! I am Lion van den Heuvel, Lion is pronounced like the city in France ‘Lyon’, but you can also just call me lion. I am nineteen years old and I study Business Administration in the Netherlands. For my studies I will do an internship in Melbourne for five months. My internship starts February 5th, but I will arrive in Melbourne on January 29th. Therefore, I am searching for a suitable place to stay during my internship. Something about me, I am quiet guy, but I also like to have fun with others. I do not smoke and I rarely drink. I am into different kinds of sports like soccer and fitness. I also like to go for a run occasionally. I like gaming, I can cook very well and I am good company. And finally, I am neat and I like to have people around me. I would be very delighted if we could set up a house tour when I arrive in Melbourne. Thank you very kindly for your time and your consideration. Kind regards, Lion van den Heuvel
Hey everyone! We're a couple who have just moved to melbourne and are on the lookout for the best housemates on offer! We're a pretty social couple who'd love to have a couple of bevs every now and then. Although we are pretty social, we also like our quiet time for study and binge watching netflix.
I am a 24 year old German guy, i will arrive in melbourne in the beginning of february. I am friendly, clean and most of the time more than happy to have a chat! I also am respectful or privacy and space.I work fulltime as a cabinet maker and it is my first time in Australia. I am really looking forward to have a super easy nice time here! I lived in shared flats since i am 16, so i have much experience. Hopefully there are some relaxed people who have an empty room availablel. I hope to here from you soon. Regards Benni
Hi I'm studying at Monash university and also working part time. I am a friendly, out-going and a tidy housemate. I am also open for teaming up with other students and people to look or move into a new house.
Anyone keen to join me in looking for an a place together? Originally from country Victoria, have been in Melbourne for 16 years +. I work full time in the Docklands & also have a casual job which is mainly during the AFL footy season. I am looking for someone who is easy to get along with, cooks the odd meal together, is clean & has the occasion drink together. I value yours and my space. I would also be interested in a team up: (I have most things to set up a a house. I come with a fridge, tv, washing machine, weber bbq, couch, crockery & the usual utensils. I also have a car, so would require parking.
My name is Andreas, I am 22 currently studying Physics at Swinburne. Easy to get along with, play soccer, love the gym, enjoy watching sports, playing video games, clean and tidy and not a hermit but can definitely respect private space as I have lived with other people before. If I haven't said something here and you're not sure please don't hesitate to message me and I'll get back to you ASAP! :)
I'm Igor, 29 male, working full-time as a video content producer in the automotive media industry. 9-5 at the office weekdays, also work from home occasionally. Currently staying in a studio apartment in Richmond, but looking to move into a larger 2 bedroom house with one flatmate. I'm super chill and easy going. Keen to hang out but also respectful of your personal space. I've got some kind of an underdeveloped passion for interior design, so I value a fresh, clean and tidy space - think IKEA catalogue. Bills will always be paid on time - will setup automatic transfer for your peace of mind. In my down time I rewatch movies and shows on Netflix for the nth time, attempt to do some form of physical exercise, strum the guitar and go for short random drives in my car to relax. Weekends are half spent on catching up with the parents and friends, half for sleeping in. Oh and I also like food. Apparently I cook a mean carbonara. I'm interested in teaming up to look for a 2 bedroom house. Must have off-street parking and at least cable internet - NBN preferable. I've got furnitures, fridge, washing machine, 55inch TV and a 3 seater couch. Easy with sharing these so we can work out the details later. Prefer a quiet house but occasional parties are cool too. If you are looking for a like-minded flatmate, send me a message!
I'm 18 years old (turning 19 soon) and have lived in a share house for a few months already. I am from Adelaide but moving to Melbourne really soon! I clean up after myself and am respectful of others privacy. I like to socialise and make new friends! I love getting in the outdoors and exercising :) Please feel free to message me! :)
Hi there! My name is Clarissa and I'm 21 years old looking to move out from my current place to save money! I'm hoping to move end of Feb or start of March, so if your place is available for then please let me know! I'm looking for an unfurnished room which can fit a double bed and desk. I am currently working full time at a Finance firm in East Melbourne and studying Accounting part time. I can be quite the workaholic so most nights I get home late or I'll be at uni. So I would preferably like to live near public transport, I do have a car but not high priority to take with me if there's no parking. I am easy-going, friendly, quiet, tidy and reliable. I am more than happy to socialize and help around the house but also happy to keep to myself. I'm no party animal but loves a good chat or hangout. Unfortunately I'm allergic to cats and dogs so unless they're a hypoallergenic breed, I can't live with pets :( I go mountain biking on weekends and love yoga, Netflix, baking and can be easily pursuaded to order a cheeky Ubereats or Foodora. Although I'm looking for a home, I'm also hoping to make some lasting friendships! Feel free to message me for more information! :)
Hello! My boyfriend and I just moved to Melbourne for work. We are easy people, we like to relax at home, cook, eat out, go for walks and more. I'm Australian, working in heritage/arts and my boyfriend is Swedish and worked in health in Sweden. References available!
Hai! I work full time Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm, and gym at night. On the rare occasion that I'm home I'm tidy, quiet, pretty low key, and generally sleeping. I nap.... a lot! My personality is bubbly, happy go lucky and really crusiey about everything and definitely young at heart. Gym and the ocean are my biggest passions, and always am up for adventures! I don't have any pets, but would definitely love it if you did ☺ I'm looking to find a place to call home and not just a house. If parking is easy, than that's a huge bonus!! Currently in an apartment that only provides 1 car spot for two people, with no other parking 😒 In regards to location.... I'd like to be in the inner city suburbs. The catch is though.... is that I’d like something pretty modern. I’ve done the whole vintage Victorian house in south melb, and now prefer modern, and my own bathroom. I've lived with guys and girls, so I'm pretty chill with who I live with. Just all about good vibes and a positive living space. :) :)
Studying double major in Environments at MelbUni, I tend to spend long hours at library. So when I am home, I like to cook or read a bit. Not a party fan nowadays due to my schedule. However, it is worthy to mention that I do love electronic music. Also work part time as barista in a coffee shop. Plus I love making people laugh so I am willing to have a healthy social communication with my roommates. Also I like to have a clean house, so I am up to help in household duties. Important to say: I will be back in Melb by 6th Feb so I will need some flexibility with the inspection.
So we're Lauren and Kiah; two really friendly and bubbly girls just looking for some great people to live with for study, work, watching movies or TV, relaxing and the odd night out! We're both pretty active and enjoy outdoor activities as well as time to ourselves. We study biomed (Lauren) and arts (Kiah) at Monash and are looking to live closer to uni at the Clayton campus. Kiah is from Traralgon and I'm from north Melbourne but we've lived together on campus at uni college for the past two years. We are hoping to move in any time from late January up until early-mid february. I have a fair bit of second hand furniture from some family friends if it is needed/wanted and a fridge too if that helps to sweeten the deal. :P If you have any questions feel free to message! We're keen to meet up/get to know our potential housemates :)
Hello! My Ragdoll cat and I are looking for a place to call home. I am currently undertaking a Master of Psychology and am looking for a place close to the campus in Hawthorne East. I am a morning loving, tea drinking, power lifting, book nerd. My fluffy furbaby is my shadow and most of my spare time is spent with her (cat lady in the making). She loves pats from everyone, naps in the sun and exploring the world around her. I am looking to live with other likeminded people who strive to make a house a home.
Hi there potential landlords or housemates, I'm a female, 37 year old (young at heart) friendly and clean. I am a great housemate/tenant because I can adapt to any situation and place pretty easily without complaints or stress! I want my future house to be a home not just accomodation! I want it to be my sanctuary where I feel safe and peaceful. I don't mind what age you are or what you do or don't do.. that's your business! I respect ones privacy and also am happy to socialise or have a chat every now and then.. I also need privacy lol. I'm honest and direct. I prefer to sort out any problems immediately and believe trust and honesty would be very crucial if sharehouse is to run smoothly and harmoniously. private person but occasionally. I'm a huge dog lover!! I have a small/medium female dog whose 13mths old and super friendly towards humans generally to other dogs however she's been attacked a couple of times and can get protective of herself hence quickly when playing too roughly. She plays with bigger dogs better too. She is well taken care of and I clean up after her. So I do require some type of yard space. Doesn't have to be huge but a normal size backyard with grass not concrete!! The bigger the better though! We currently live in an apartment so it's not suitable. I have to move ASAP due to a bad break up and currently living with a family friend in Doncaster but I've overstayed by 2 weeks already to finding somewhere suitable is detrimental!!! It doesn't have to be available right now but not much longer than a couple of weeks time would be good. Just need to let friend know I've at least secured a place. If you'd like to know anymore pls feel free to call, txt or message on here. Thanks. Hope to hear from some good sorts... Cheers 🙂
Hi! I'm 28, just moved to Melbourne, have a permanent visa and will look for a job (work as a mechanical engineer). I'm friendly, easy-going, tidy, non-smoker and love pets (but don't have). Going to make new friends in Melbourne. Looking for only a furnished room to rent for 4-6 months (probably more). Prefer Nothern suburbs, also Western and Eastern, but not far from CBD. My budget is 200 AUD per week including all bills. I guarantee cleanliness and paying on time. Ready to pay a bond and for a few weeks ahead at once.
We are both very friendly, we get along with each other and are here looking for a room to share with others, we want to meet new people and make new friends. As I (Oliver) am the one writing this I can say that I'm a film student at Swinburne and studying full time there, Will is in the same situation studying psychology. If we were to move in with you, we would pull our weight, helping out in whatever capacity. We have both moved around and lived with many room mates before so we know how to create a welcoming environment for everyone to get along in, we are both looking forward to meeting you.
Hey I'm Kaitlin! I'm 20 years old from Queensland but have been living in Melbourne since 2016. I'm studying at Melbourne Uni, starting a Science degree this year but have already done 2 years of Arts (1 at Melb uni and one in Wellington NZ) . I'm tidy, considerate and sociable - enjoy a chat or a drink with housemates but also value personal space. Currently working casually at Subway. I'm also vegan and love animals so much, but am totally happy living with non-vegans! In my spare time I like cooking, going to the gym, doing yoga, binge-watching Netflix and going for drinks with friends. Please send me a message if I sound like your kind of housemate!
Hi there! My name is Lachlan, I am a full time worker at adidas! My hours are 8am to 4pm, every Monday to Friday. Working at adidas, influences me to live a pretty active lifestyle, I enjoy any sport or recreational activity, I like to run, listen to music (headphones of course!), watch movies or just enjoy a quiet coffee out and about. Cleanliness is one of my most important traits, I like to respect others space and, ultimately, treat others how I wish to be treated! I enjoy socialising with my roommates, but I also enjoy my alone time as well. I'll either be watching a movie or reading a book in my room, just as some wind down time! If you want to have a chat or have any questions, just let me know! Thanks :)
Hi all, My lease expires at the end of January and I've decided to look for new digs! I will be studying sports management (probably at Deakin) and want to live somewhere close enough to campus but close enough to the city. I'm a pretty chill gal and would like to share with people who I can get along with well. I spend most of my time working, studying and staying active but I love a good gig or boogie whenever I get the chance. I'm also LGBT+ and hope that this is a-okay with you. Hit me up if you reckon you've got a place!
Hi! My name is Miranda. I'm a 26 year old Orthoptist who has recently started a new job at the Cabrini Hospital in Malvern. I've lived in lots of sharehouses and am happy to have a chat and share a meal or drink with housemates but also very happy doing my own thing. I like to get out of the house a fair bit for running, yoga, hikes, and exploring Melbourne.. hence perfect housemate! I'm also a vegetarian but don't mind if you arent. :)
Hey there! I'm going to begin studying as a full-time student in late February at Swinburne, and I'll be doing a degree in Media and Communications. I come from the Geelong region and I am currently working in a casual position at Woolworths, but I'm hoping to find a more steady income soon. I am looking to move up to Melbourne within the next 2 months to make studying easier and to gain some independence. I am an intense film lover, which includes a wide range of film knowledge as well as an extensive collection of DVDs, VHS tapes and books about film. I am a great lover of dogs, (sometimes I just look up pictures of corgis and have an emotional meltdown), and I one day aspire to own many. I have a few allergies, including nuts and cats, however nothing too severe. I have a great sense of humour, I can keep things (relatively) clean, moreso in common spaces than my own personal space, and I respect the need to have some alone time every now and then.
