I'm moving from north Queensland to north Brisbane hopefully. I have a full-time job I am starting on the 14th of Jan 19. I work in IT and I'm currently studying. I enjoy getting outside for physical activities but a lot of my free time is spent in study mode. I'm a quiet person that does not drink or smoke but either do not bother me.
I'm a uni student studying nursing/paramedicine * Pretty clean * Easy going * Can cook * Open and can have a conversation about any problems * Respectful From canberra, no knowledge of Brisbane
I have recently just moved back to Brisbane after living in Sydney for 2 years. I much prefer the pace of Brisbane! I run my own personal training business out of Goodlife Chermside, as well as the local park. I am looking to move close to the Westfield for work.
Young professional working in research for UQ and as an Oral Health Therapist. Relocating from Rockhampton in Feb 2019. I’ve been house sharing/renting since 2011 and know how to been a clean, respectful team member :) Originally from a farming town in WA and consider myself very easy going with a decent sense of humour and good banter. I’m a package deal with my 5yr old sooky staffy X boxer, Lardy. She is the perfect housemate and loves pats, walks, eating grass, chasing birds, tacky Kmart outfits and the occasional spoon. Non-destructive and can provide rental references! In my free time I enjoy a wine and chats (especially if cheese is involved), yoga, wasting my future house deposit on smashed avo, and checking out live music and markets.
Hi, I'm Brody. I'm easy-going, tidy and respectful. I work casually at the Brisbane airport while studying full-time. When I'm not studying or working, I enjoy playing sports and training or grabbing a cup of coffee or a bite to eat.
Hi im Brendan, im a 27 year old working full time as an electrician, Im easy going, clean, tidy, respectful and sociable i spend my weeks pretty quiet going to gym or playing sport, on the week ends i generally ride my dirt bike or head out to the beach and enjoy a beer or two on the week ends
Hi there! I'm Sarah, I'm from South Australia. I absolutely fell in love with Brisbane when I was there, and I would love to live there. I work full time, not a massive party animal but I can get around a bevvie or two. I am a dancer and a painter and I am hoping to get into stand up comedy, so I am down with the banter. I am looking for some cool people to live with who are clean and classic! Also my move in date is flexible by a week-ish each side
Gday Im Kane. Ive been working up in Cairns as a Speech Pathologist in the hospital. Early in the new Year I'll be coming back to Brisbane to reengage with my mates and preferred city for a while. I'm looking for a furnished room, at least with a bed and internet to stay in the short to midterm. I'll come back and teach my old job as an English teacher in the city while I look for the next Speech Pathology gig, potentially rural. I'd be in Brisbane realistically at least 1-2 months, potentially more, depending on how the healthcare job search is going. I'm grown up enough, know how to clean up after self and maintain a respectable household and am adverse to drama. During the week I'll be focusing on work, the job seek and exercise. On weekends I like to get out with mates for a hike or swim, go to a reggae/roots concert, go speak Spanish with some people, or play a nerd boardgame. If you have a bed, think I'd fit in and don't mind the short-midterm stay, feel free to drop me a line. Cheers.
Hi! We're a pair of friends looking for a third roommate or more! We both love playing board games and get competitive over who's the best uno player. We're happy to share our food, and David will happily cook any recipe you like, as long as you ask nicely! We're also both really keen to make friends with our roommate, and would love to be able to do group activities like bowling and escape rooms! We're also both very tidy, and love relaxing and chilling on the couch talking about absolutely nothing. David has two cats, Spencer (the older sister), and Griffin (the annoying baby brother), and will be bringing them with him! We're looking for a relatively cheap place even if that means getting further from the heart of Brisbane and into the suburbs, and hoping for a place with a yard. We’re not a couple, and need seperate roooms. We're extremely flexible with move dates and can move anytime in January. The max budget listed is our combined max budget, but if we could get cheaper that'd be even better!
I work full time throughout the week 6am - 2.00pm so im an early sleeper, i sometimes like sticking to myself but am friendly and would enjoy catching up now an then, im wanting to stay in a comfortable place and potentially make new friends.
Hello, my name is Dan. I'm a 31 old German guy. (although I feel a bit younger) I'm looking for a new place to stay since my current place in Strathpine is too big for me and I want to live closer to Brisbane. A few things about me: In my private time I enjoy going to the gym, travelling, hiking or going to the beach, having a meal at a nice restaurant, going out or just staying at home and watching a movie - just like most other people do. :) I work 3-5 days a week in Brendale, so the northern suburbs would be preferable. I'm looking for a nice little place from 15/01/19 - either for myself or with positive people (early 20s to mid 30s) around me - doesn't matter where you are from. A must for me is my own room, a place to park my car, (fast) internet connection and that people don't smoke within the unit/house. If you are not quite the opposite of me and/or have a place to live or suggestions, feel free to send me a message. Cheers!
Hey, I'm a 25 year old German born Australian male. In September I decided to quit my corporate business job and leave the business world behind. I sold up my things and have been travelling ever since. I'll be going back to study next year, doing Conservationist and Land Management, which starts at the end of January. While I'm currently not working, I am financially secure for at least another 12 months. I'd be happy to come to a payment arrangement to settle any nerves about this. I intend to start looking for part-time or casual work in the new year anyway though. I'm a kind, easy going, tidy and respectful person. I like to try and live an active and healthy lifestyle - beach trips, hiking, gym, good food. I'd be hoping to move in ASAP. Kind regards, Stefan
Hi, I'm Gemma! I'm 24 and working casual in retail. My current lease doesn't end until the 31st of January, so I can't move sooner than the 20th of January, 2019. I'm very clean and tidy (I'm allergic to dust so I have to be!) and want to live with others who are as clean as me. I like to think I'm pretty friendly and get along with most people ^_^ I'm allergic to cats even though I love them, so no pets is a priority. Also my dust allergy means that rooms with hard wood floors and/or blinds are super appealing to me!
Mature easygoing social and house broken lol. Looking for some good natured people to live with on the north side of Brisbane. Doesn't mind pets or children. A place with a pool or some decent aircon would be appreciated. I'm a shift worker also and have my own transport so somewhere to park would be great. Those are the basic so if you wanna know more just hit me up. Thank you.
Hello, I am transferring to Brisbane from Townsville for work and am looking for a place close to the airport. As I will be working at the airport, my working hours will vary. I am easy going, respectable and very independent. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors. I am looking for a housemate/s that are also easy going and clean. I can furnish my own room and would prefer my own bathroom but it isn't a big deal if I have to share. I am not big into partying but do enjoy heading out to socialise and love making new friends :)
I am looking for somewhere modern, tidy and bright. I work full-time Monday to Friday as a teacher. I am pretty easy going and keep communal areas clean. I have everything needed to set up a house, so am open to starting a new share place with someone. Looking to live with a female around my age. I am allergic to cats Let me know if you have somewhere suitable 😊
I'm social ,easy going and very respectful to every people around me and I'm very focused and committed to my studies.I'm also outgoing and would love a glass of wine or two on weekends.(not often). I'm looking for a room that has its own bathroom and comes with unlimited internet 😊
Hi potential roomie, I am in the process of exiting a LT relationship and the house I share with my ex-partner. I am keen to live with someone positive and who will be a good influence on my general headspace and well being. ❤️ About me: Full time shift worker within the government sector. This involves hours all over the show from 3am starts and 2 am finishes on a rotational roster. For this, I am strictly not into the party scene or any real craziness at home, (that was in my 20’s as cabin crew). However, the odd friend for dinner is welcome. 😀 I love getting outdoors and my down time is saddling up a horse and riding, or laying by the beach. Huge animal lover of all shapes and sizes. Mostly a home body now as days off I try and relax as much as I can. Extremely clean, tidy, respectful and I like to be organised daily. I am not a fan of the messy house or people not pulling their weight as I am the more house proud type. I will have the occasional drink and chat/laugh when I can, and happy to mingle and socialise when time permits. I am a big fan of my own time though. This comes from working day in, day out with the public. All bills / rent paid on time and with priority. Looking for potentially a room or house with a good human with a mature and positive outlook. My current lease ends Feb 1st, 2019. Hit me up for a coffee and a chat for more. 🤙🏼 Cheers - Tim
I'm moving to Brisbane from Townsville to work at the RBWH. I am very conscientious and clean. I work 10-14 hours a day, so I have no time to party or make a mess! Otherwise I just chill on my computer, study, or nap. Non-smoker, LGBTQI friendly. I have no kids, but I do have a kitty, Waffles. I hope to bring the kitty with me as she is a sweet companion and incredibly neat. I also have 2 Italian greyhound dogs that will be staying with my parents in Townsville unless I find a place that accepts them.
