Hi there, Jane and I are looking for a person to share a house/ apartment/ townhouse with for about 2 months starting from the beginning of Feb. We are both easy-going, respectful, kind, clean people and are just generally here for a good laugh. We have a friend wishing to move in with us at the start of April, however, cannot afford the costs of the 3rd room in the mean time. Would be great if you could help us out!!
Hey! My name is Mauricio. Born in Costa Rica and moved to Toronto, Canada when I was 2. Studied Chemical Engineering in my undergrad and finished my PhD in Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto where I studied Ovarian Cancer. I am moving to Brisbane to attend UQ and starting medicine in 2018. I enjoy running, playing piano, good food, and wine. Looking for roomate that is easy going, tidy, kind, and considerate.
Hi! I'm Grace. My friend Tiffany and i are looking for two rooms. We're from China. Tiffany is working full-time. I'm a UQ student and doing a part-time job. So we are quite busy during weekdays. But we are very willing to have a chat after work or study, or hang out together on weekends. We both are very easy-going. We are looking for somewhere very close to a supermarket and bus station. Our max budget is 190/week/person.
Hey:) I'm a Melbourne girl moving to Brisbane to study medicine. I'm looking for a relaxed and friendly place to call home close to UQ and the matter hospital. I intend to work alongside my studies so I would appreciate a more relaxed base rather than a party house. I enjoy cooking, getting outside and chats over tea. I'm very easy to get along with and look forward to getting to know you :) The main things that I'm looking for are: - A private room large enough for a queen bed and desk. - Proximity to UQ uni - A smoke-free house - AC is a plus Message me to find out more:)
I'm a super chilled guy who is doing his last year of engineering at UQ, I work pretty hard during weekdays but I like to enjoy MY weekends having a few beers and socialising with the housemates and friends. I don't really enjoy kind of houses where everyone just locks themselves in their rooms, however, I still respect everyone's privacy and personal space. I enjoy sports. Play soccer or volleyball at least once a week. And also like to hit the gym frequently. My interests also include music, playing guitar, netflix, travelling, dinner and occasional nights out. I would like to team up with some tidy and respectful people, who would be up for a casual bbq, watching movies and doing some sport together. I am looking for a private room in a four or five room house or apartment, preferably with swimming pool. Hit me up if you're looking for a housemate or if you want to team up and find a nice place to live. Cheers
31 year old female from Scotland on sabbatical. Allied healthcare professional, active and outdoorsy, adventurous, fun finder. Pretty easy company, kind and considerate. Looking for a relaxed home/ house share and flatmates willing to socialise and maybe show me around. First time in Brisbane.
I’m planning to move from cairns to Brisbane in the next week or so I have just graduated from grade 12 and i am very excited to move down to Brisbane close to my older sister and to start a career as soon as possible. I am looking for a place for live for 2 months. I have saved for this move for a very long time. I will pick up a full time job after my accommodation is organised. I love being outdoors so I’ll ofen be out for a run or out with friends. I am very social but I also respect others privacy. I’m house proud and clean so I will always clean up after myself
I have just returned from two years abroad on a working holiday visa in London. I will be starting my Master of Tourism, Event and Hotel Management at UQ at the end of February and looking for my new home. Interests include cooking, wine, brunch, travel, walking, reading and Haagen Dasz. Looking for a double room in a social house where I can make new friends and call it my home. I will be in Brisbane from the 24th January so keen to set up some viewings around this time :)
A 21 yo Singaporean female. Will be studying in UQ. I can be outgoing but at times, need my own 'me time'. I don't mind if you've got cat/dog(s) at home. I used to have both of them at home, in Singapore.
Hello! My name is Chloe, and I'm from the U.S. I'm studying medicine at UQ, which is what brings me to Brisbane. I'll probably be studying a lot during the week, but I'm real easy-going and always up for going out for food or drinks when I can. In my free time, I love to read, spend time with friends, as well as cook and bake! I'm a tidy and respectful roommate, and looking for someone similar to share a place with :)
Hey hey I'm Dan, 35yo working full time as a Product Manager for a Mining Company. I'm pretty busy during the week and like to be active on the weekends and get out & about. Hopefully find someone similar, someone to share a few laughs with and the odd glass of wine or cold beer.
Hi, I'm pharmacist about to start a 2 months internship period in RB&W Hospital. I have to move out from my current accomodation the 26th Jan, and I'm staying in Brisbane until mid March. I'm looking for a private room with nice flatmates. Very outgoing but respect others space, I love music, doing sport and discovering new places. I'm very clean, tidy and thoughtful when it comes to living with others. I´d love to get to know new people and to do enjoyable activities at weekends and share a flat with responsible mates that know how to take the most of their free time too! Sense of humor is very important for me! By the way, I can cook "tortilla de patatas" and "gazpacho", typical Spanish that you will absolutely love!
Currently undertaking a Bachelor of Communication Design (full-time student) and am looking for a place to rent. I'm an easy going girl who likes to be social but also have their own space, I'm really clean and tidy and would make a great addition to your home. + Also have a green thumb, love being in the garden. (no share rooms thanks)
Looking for a unfurnished granny flat for myself and my inside cat. I am tidy, clean and reliable to pay rent and expenses on time. I am a sociable person and respects space and other people's belongings. I have references if required.
Hiya, just two friendly and chilled as sisters here! We're both studying at UQ and are looking for a nice place to live with some similar minded flatmates. We're looking for some relaxed, open-minded and nice people to set a house up with that can feel like home. I'm 22 and am going into my second year of Architecture. I enjoy op shopping and cooking delish meals for friends. April is 19 and is going into a Bachelor of Arts, she enjoys playing ping pong badly and some good tunes alongside a casual bevvie. We are both clean but do not mind if things aren't spotless all the time! We love a good time but also respect the study life and everyones personal spaces. Give us a ring! :)))
I’m a hard working, easy going professional with a super cute mini dachshund (Winchester) looking for a house to share! Ideally I'm looking to share with just one other or a couple, male or female, LGBT I really don't mind :) The most important thing is that you are a massive animal lover and you and my little sausage get along! He's good with 99% of other dogs so if you have furbabies there'd need to be a meet and greet just to be sure! And full disclosure.... I've been on a waitlist for another long haired mini dachsund for two years now and I MAY be getting another in 3-4 months if everything works out! I'm a professional working full time, 730am - 530pm in Mansfield and go to the gym most mornings and generally one evening so I'm not around alot! I'm a pretty quiet person, but happy to have a chat and chill on the weekends! My downtime is spent on my business and catching up on Netflix... I don't smoke and very rarely drink. I won't be hosting any raging parties but will occasionally have a friend over for a girls night in! I also have two very cute and well behaved nieces (age 3 and 5) who will beg for a sleep over from time to time (only one at a time of course!) <3 I also run my own business, I design and sell SUP and Surf boards so a place with lock up storage or a garage would be ideal! I only hold a small amount of stock - up to 12 boards but it still takes up a bit of room :) At the moment I currently store them in a warehouse so this isn't a necessity. I have a mini cooper and a garage or off street parking is preferred, but so long as there is always available parking I can work with that :) If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me :D xx
Hi! My name is Ashleigh, I'm 25 and a full time working professional. I'm looking to find someone like-minded, tidy and fun to find an apartment with in the above suburbs to move in Februaryish. I am looking at 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartments that have a weekly rent of anywhere from $500-$600, therefore maximum $300 each. I would be looking to have the master + ensuite. I live a fairly busy lifestyle between work, exercise, sport and socialising. I like to socialise but also enjoy time to myself when I'm at home, relaxing. I like to get out and about on the weekends but keep everything pretty low key during the week. I'm looking for someone (male or female) similar to me, preferably working full time and a non-smoker. I intend to sign a 6-12 month lease so I'm hoping that suits the person I end up sharing with. If you think we might be a match, send me a message. :-)
Hello! I'm an easy going and relaxed, tidy housemate looking for a home in Brissy! I'm starting my Masters of Nursing at UQ after doing my undergraduate degree in Sydney. I'll also be working part time. Originally from Byron and have spent the last 6 months on the Sunshine Coast. Would love a place with a dog but not a deal breaker! Flexible with length of stay.
Working full time as a secondary teacher in the West Wynnum area and I need to move closer to work. I’m after a furnished room with internet/bills included preferred (am happy to negotiate). Would be willing to rent whole place closer to the city (Camp Hill area) for ~$400
