Hi. I am 33 years old, male, and work full time in the APS. I enjoy cooking and an occasional glass of wine with dinner or occasional beer. I like home to feel like home. I am tidy and respectful, and although i am social understand space. I like hiking and travelling on the weekends, and also visiting familyinterstate.
I'm a science student leaving Melbourne in July to start my Honours degree at the ANU, and am looking for shared accommodation. Having lived in shared houses and halls of residence for the last 3 years, I've learned to be a responsible and considerate housemate. Ideally, I'm hoping to move in with older students or professionals and be part of a friendly and functional living environment. I'm more your tea-books-and-boardgames kind of student (I come with my own small collection of games), whose idea of a night out is to meet up with friends, cook together and play Catan. I enjoy tennis, hiking and bouldering, and hope to work as a tutor when I move to Canberra.
Hi, I'm a 20-year-old International Relations student studying and working at ANU. I'm looking to move into an existing lease or into a new lease with one to two other people, with a preference for unfurnished rooms. I'm after a room big enough to fit a queen bed and a good-sized desk comfortably. I'm clean, quiet and I pay bills on time. I don't mind a bit of mess but also like to do a general tidy/clean every week. I enjoy going out for a drink, cooking, reading and binge-watching comedy shows on Netflix. I keep to myself but am certainly up for the occasional shared meal or drink. I'm really not into big parties or events, so I'm not interested in a big house warming party. That's not to say I don't want guests at the house, just not a big, loud event. Ideal flatmates would be fellow students or young professionals. My ideal locations are somewhere in North Canberra, Belconnen or Woden. Essentially somewhere that's within 15-20minutes of the city and ANU. I'm looking to spend around $300 a week on rent, utilities and Wi-Fi. A car space is desirable.
I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into a two bedroom flat at the start of next year. I work at McDonald's Manuka (not glamorous, but it pays rent) and between that and studying I love to just chill out and read or watch Netflix. I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good yarn and watching TV or playing board games (though I'm not very good). I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal. My budget is $200 a week (but less would be even better). Feel free to shoot me a message or text if you'd like to get to know me more before making the plunge! I'd prefer living with a friend anyway so we should get to know each other! :)
Student starting his engineering PhD/Masters. I've been working full time for 18 months until now. I love rugby, games and a good time. Looking for a place with air conditioning and decent internet. I like to socialise but I also like keeping to myself sometimes.
Friendly , social , coffee lover and easy going single working professional. Full time engineering job in Canberra. Have relocated from Melbourne to Canberra. Likes to keep clean, tidy and keep healthy lifestyle. :)
G’day guys, Looking for a place somewhat close to ANU and the city. Pretty flexible with all other aspects of the place; really not overly picky. Ideally looking for a place around $200/week, flexible up and down on the price however. I’ll be moving down from Brisbane on Monday the 27th, so urgently looking for a place. Long-term, 3-6 months, would be preferred, but at this stage I’d even consider a few weeks short-stay just while I find permanent accommodation. I’m relatively quiet and keep myself busy with my hobbies and studies, but always down for a chat or a household activity. Lived out of home for quite a few years, so very respectful of the household and have a good understanding of what makes a share house function well. Studying an array of subjects at uni, officially enrolled in a Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree, but enjoy everything from chemistry and botany to psych and sociology. Not a big drinker, smoke on occasion but tend to keep it social and away from the house if that’s the predisposition. I’ll be working full time at Floriade until uni starts up again semester. Hope to hear from you! ~ Isaac 😎
I am currently working full time in the public service so I am looking for a place that is fairly quiet during the week. I love cooking and sharing a good meal with friends so be prepared to be a guinea pig for all my culinary experiments! I also enjoy hiking and reading. Having lived with roommates for the past 7 years, I am a respectful and neat roommate. I am looking for a roommate/s with whom I can share some food, wine and a good laugh.
Moving to Australia to start an internship at the Dutch Embassy in Canberra! Looking for a room in an appartment with other young students/interns who are open to hang out together. I love working out, going out to bars, and exploring the city, but also enjoy a quiet night in.
Kate is a 22 yr old nursing student currently working in medical administration and reception. Azka is a 22 yr old university student currently working between retail and looking for a more committed administration role. We are good friends who have known each other for about 3 years and have also worked together. We have had some experience living together and know that we are compatible as housemates. We are looking for a room each, both available in the same rental. We separately each have a budget of 250$ per week. We are both; kind, patient, fun, social and clean.
I'm an Audiologist who has recently moved to Canberra where I'm working full-time in a clinic in the city. I'm looking for a place to live that's relatively central so I'm close to work and have easy access to everything the city offers. I'm clean, I'm quiet, and I like to cook. I've lived in quite a few sharehouses and have never had any problems or caused any. I'm pretty laid back and patient, and housemates always say I'm easy to live with. I do have references if that helps. My hobbies are mostly outdoors - hiking, mountainbiking, photography, etc. Some weekends I like to just relax and enjoy some down time, but generally I like to get out to see some live music and meet people. There isn't much of anything that bothers me (noise, cooking, guests, etc) and I have a good sense of humour.
