Hi! I'm Melissa. I have recently moved to Australia from England for a job opportunity. As I am new to Canberra and am looking for a house share with like minded, sociable housemates who would be happy to chill out in the evening and maybe do the odd adventure on a weekend. I will be working full time in Deakin during the week and occasional weekends, so am looking for somewhere clean and tidy to relax in after work. I would be looking to move in as soon as possible as I start my new job on February 4th. If you think I might be suitable flatmate for you, please get in touch!
I'll be attending ANU for a research fellowship over the winter :) I'm a biologist, I enjoy spending time outdoors and meeting new people while not in lab. I appreciate good conversations, respect personal space and I am looking forward to my time in Canberra. I'd like to rent out a private room in a house with a kitchen, preferably walking distance/ short ride to ANU.
Hey everyone! I'm finishing off my study and will be here for at least 6 months. I have 4 years experience living in shared accommodation with a large number of other housemates. I am excellent at staying tidy and would prefer housemates who keep areas clean. I would like to move in ASAP as my contract ends soon. I'm a fun, chilled guy who'd be keen on getting to know new people. On my off time, I enjoy gaming, reading, sport and all round relaxing. Whilst I enjoy socialising, I believe everybody needing their own space and downtime. I'd like fellow flatmates who are clean, sociable, and most importantly, good people. Open to moving into existing sharehouses or teaming up and setting up a new home.
I’m Kelly, 27, work full time, hoping to find a place to share to keep my costs down. I’m clean and tidy, house proud, early to bed and early to rise kind of person. I’m a mean cook and baker, avid reader and Netflix enthusiast. Not into clubbing but don’t mind a cheeky wine. Enjoy cooking and happy to meal share too. Happy to chat and hang out or leave you alone. I enjoy keeping fit, swimming, subaking and Latin dancing I’m my spare time. I’m Allergic to most animals so -sorry cannot share with anyone with pets like cats or dogs, although fish and aquariums are totally okay .
Hi! I've just moved to Canberra for my first full-time job - Intern in Canberra and Calvary hospitals. I've only been to Canberra once and am not too familiar with which suburb to live in - wouldn't mind driving 10-20mins to work. I've lived in university on-campus accommodation and shared house with ensuite bathroom in the past. I am hoping to find a quiet, clean and tidy place with respectful housemates (preferably females). I would be keen for occasional housemate(s) gathering, if I'm not too tired from work. I enjoy exploring new places, going to cafes, and exercising (but sometimes I do get lazy). Looking for places which are flexible with length of stay - I'd definitely prefer not to move around too often, but wanna make sure I really like the place before committing long term. Thanks
I'm sociable, friendly, and love to get to know new people. I'm tidy, polite and respectful of others. I've lived in sharehouses for 3 years, and have lived and travelled all over the world so I can get on with anybody!
Heya I'm Bronte. I'm a pretty relaxed type of person who is open minded and fun to be around. I enjoy cooking (so there will always be tasty treats for my housemates), good wine and exploring activities in the city. Up for socialising and making new friends, as I will be new to the Canberra (coming from Melbourne). I'm a neat and organised type of person, and have lived in share houses previously. Added bonuses + I have a collection of homewares and white goods if needed + I'm familiar with the rental process, happy to set up internet/bills etc and liase with real estate agents
Hi I’m a 23 yr old international student from Sri Lanka. I am studying at UC- Bachelors. I am a outgoing person who loves a bit of privacy and who loves pets. Works overnights during the weekends. Open for a drink and a chat when free. Would like to keep the place neat and tidy.
I'm Ethan Moody, a male in my mid twenties working full-time as a public servant. I am a friendly person, my hobbies being going out to restaurants, going to seeing movies, concerts, musicals and plays; art, and cooking and baking. I'm cleanly and don't smoke. I have no car, so I wouldn't need any carpark.
Hi! My name is Sofia, and I am a 25 year old Masters student at the ANU. I study full time and work part time, but am looking to recommence full time work at the start of next year. As a housemate, I am clean and very friendly. Some of my past housemates are among my closest friends. I am up for anything from sharing a meal, to a night out, to a cheeky midnight Kmart run with my housemates (study forbidding). I currently live in Dickson with some legends, but unfortunately our house is being renovated, so we have to move out. I am looking to rent close to the ANU, and need a room with space for a desk as well as a bed. I like my home to be as relatively stress-free as possible, so I am looking for housemates who are also neat (but not necessarily meticulously so) and are willing to share the burden of house maintenance. Other than that, I'm pretty flexible. Let me know if you think I could be a good fit for your home!
Hey everyone! I'm coming down for 6 months to study IT at UC and work full-time. I have experience living in shared accommodation for the past two years with a large number of other housemates. On my off time, I enjoy working out, surfing, bouldering, gaming, and all round relaxing. Whilst I enjoy socialising, I am an avid believer of everybody needing their own space and downtime. I'd like fellow flatmates who are clean, sociable, and most importantly, good people. Open to moving into existing sharehouses or teaming up and setting up a new home. Unfortunately I'm allergic to all pets known to man except reptiles and fish apparently.

I am Dean, a Graduate in the APS - with previous experience in the Queensland State Government. I hold a Law Degree from Griffith University. I am looking to move into a house/apartment in Canberra in February 2019 - either in the inner north or inner south of Canberra. I am a friendly, outgoing individual who enjoys making friends, going out to bars and having adventures. I am a clean person, who is easy to talk to and get along with. I am originally from Esk (a small country town) in Queensland about 100km's North West of Brisbane.
Hi all! I'm relocating from Brisbane to Canberra for a full-time role with the APS in early February. Bit about myself I am originally from a place called Yeppoon in FNQ and have been living in Brisbane for the last 5 years for university. I am very social and enjoy travelling, watching the latest reality TV and exploring on weekends. I am super neat, respect people's privacy and pay all my bills in advance and am looking for similar housemates. I can bring to the house a TV, couch, queen sized bed and a bar fridge but am happy to sell everything should there not be room. I have a car so will need parking. Hit me up if you have anything going :)
Hi, I'm Charlie. I'm an easy going but tidy person, who enjoys staying fit and reading. I will be working full-time at DHS Tuggeranong. I'm looking for a place with off-street parking and close to supermarkets. I cook simple meals nearly everyday, and make some cocktails on the weekends. I enjoy socializing with roommates, but also respect personal space. Please contact me, if you have a room with its own bathroom. I'm travelling to Canberra later this week (24/1/2019). let's char. Have a great day!
Moving to Canberra to start full-time work as part of the APS. Avid photographer and reader. Always happy to chat and socialise, but also appreciate alone time. I am tidy and clean up after myself, but also desperately learning how to cook: any help would be appreciated!
I am a quiet and courteous guy from regional Western Australia (Bunbury) moving to Canberra in late Jan to start as a graduate in the Department of Education and Training. I love exploring by walking/hiking, plus I am learning to cook and would be open to sharing meals and having conversations with my flatmates. Most importantly, I am clean and smoke/drug free and would need my roommates to be the same. Otherwise, I am friendly and open for chats and the occasional gathering of friends. I’m happy to team up with others in a similar situation to look for a place to live (near the Centre), or move into a pre-existing rental agreement/share house. I can start paying rent and the bond immediately. I’ll be arriving in Canberra on 25 Jan but am happy to inspect a place/collaborate via videochat before then :)
Hi! I'm El, a 21-yo from the South Coast! I'm making the move to Canberra this year to start post-grad at ANU so looking for somewhere close to campus. I'll be at uni Monday through Friday so study will take up most of my time, but I'm super keen to explore all that Canberra has to offer! My hobbies include dancing and hiking, as well as wining and dining. I’m super tidy and considerate of others. I like to be social but also respect the need for privacy!
Hi there! I've started a new job in the Public Service. Been in this job for about 4 months now. Looking to move out. Preferably somewhere close to work - my office is located in Greenway so ideally I'm looking for a place somewhere around the Woden/Tuggeranong but open to other areas too! Hoping to live with people I can get along with. I'm an extroverted person and am easy to get along with. I do enjoy going out for drinks with friends on weekends but also enjoy a nice quiet night at home watching Netflix too. I'm pretty routine on weekdays (I work Monday-Friday, 9-5pm) then normally hit the gym. Love to cook also!
