Hey what's up! We're a Melbournian and a Canadian looking for a room from mid-Jan. I've just recently moved back to Melbourne and Brodie(Canadian) will be moving to Melbourne in January. We're looking for fun, chilled and young housemates who are outgoing and sociable. We are very clean(really!), respectful and organised and we're looking for similar people. Either a furnished or unfurnished room is fine. About us Peter(M) 26yr - Just moved back to Melbourne after 2.5 yrs in Canada, France and Hong Kong. I'm very friendly, approachable, and outgoing. I'm into sports and being outdoors. I also like catching up with mates for beers on weekends and generally being out and about. I work part-time and currently looking for full-time work in product/industrial design. Brodie(F) 25yr - From Toronto, Canada. Moving to Melbourne on a WHV in Jan with a plan to find work in the fashion industry. She's very fun and outgoing and loves to meet new people. She's never been to Aus before so she's keen to have a great time and meet some cool people - hopefully you! Shoot us a message if you'd like to know more!
I am moving from Bendigo back to Melbourne for work. I work as an allied health professional (Occupational Therapist), I will be working in Kooyong. I’ve been living in sharehouse in Bendigo with 1-2 other housemates. Happy to live with both guys and girls. Looking for a friendly, relaxed, smoke free home. I love a wine here and there, definitely not a night owl. I enjoy going to gym, pilates and walks to the park/beach 😊
Hello I'm Ellen and I'm 24. Currently, I am a student studying health science at Deakin but transferring to Swinburne next year. I'm not employed but I am looking for part-time work. I am open-minded, friendly, and respecting of other people. I'm also not a loud person and won't be disruptive. I like the usual things like music and movies.
Currently, i am a student at Monash and doing IT. I am Chinese, so, I wanna find a really nice and respectful foreigner housemate. I respect others privacy but enjoy a chat with people. I am very easy going and tidy and i enjoy a good laugh or two. I also practice taekwondo, love to go to the gym, which makes the life meaningful. I’m 26, I’m pretty social and often out and about on the weekends, love going to dinner, breakfast, out for wines, but I also like my downtime at home as well. My ideal flat mate would be similar to me and people who are happy to have a chat and occasional dinner together at home as well. hope my future housemate can message me . :)
Preferred Length of Stay : 6 months - 1 year Move in Date: 1st January - 15th January Looking for an Unfurnished Room. I am currently on holiday in Malaysia until January 1st. I am looking for a place to move into as soon as possible once I arrive back in Melbourne. I will be working full time at an architecture firm until February. Then I will be beginning my Masters of Architecture at Monash University (Caulfield Campus) while working part-time. I am originally from South Africa but grew up in China and Malaysia. I am passionate about Architecture, Rock Climbing, Running, and anything creative. I love to try maintain a healthy lifestyle. I am usually very busy and keep to myself but also enjoy being social and going out. Unfortunately I will be unable to do any inspections until I arrive back in Melbourne on January 1st. Since it is unlikely I will find a place by this date, I will arrange accommodation for the beginning of January until I find a place. I would prefer to move in to a place by the 15th of January the latest.
I'm looking for a nice house with a max rent of about $180/week (inclusive of all bills and internet). I'm a 4th year mechanical engineering student at Monash University, Clayton campus. I'm a responsible and tidy person and I've worked as a waiter so cleaning up is definitely not a problem for me.
Hi I'm Dane. I'm looking for a place to move into at the beginning of February. I'm a primary school teacher in the Eastern suburbs. I love music, both playing and listening. So would be great to live with someone who shares this passion. I'm easy going and easy to live with. I enjoy a clean and tidy household so don't need to worry about me leaving a mess. I'm also open to starting a new share house with somebody in a similar situation.
First things first: I won't be wanting to move into a new place until after I have recovered from surgery, scheduled sometime between Jan-March 2018. I keep to myself, friendly and quiet. I clean up after myself and can cook. I work full time, been at my place of work for over 7 years. 40 years old, recently divorced. I host my own radio show on community radio, Apple 98.5 FM, located in Bacchus Marsh. Back in February 2017 I had major surgery to remove cancer from my body, with a temporary stoma put in while my rectal area repairs itself. In May I began aggressive chemo treatment for the second time, which completed in late September, and then I'll be having more surgery sometime in early 2018 (Jan-March). The person(s) accepting me into their home (if that is the case) will need to be aware of my health issue and be understanding and ok with it. I am also a high functioning autistic, better known as Asperger's. Doesn't really mean anything, doesn't affect anything in any way, just best that I mention it. I'm currently living at both my father's house in the eastern suburbs and a share house in Darley (Bacchus Marsh). A transition period, where my father wants me closer to him while I go through the things I'm going through at the moment. However eventually I need to make a decision on where exactly I want to be living. I won't be wanting to move into a new place until after I have recovered from my 2018 surgery, which will be anywhere from Jan-March.
Hi, easy going person now returning to school to study information technology at Deakin. A strong fascination with sci fi and animation and an appreciation for music. Very mindful of others and always keep up with cleaning and bills. Thanks.

Hi, I'm Joe. I'm going to be a first-year student studying engineering full time for the next four years. I've spent the last year accumulating savings to be able to afford living expenses so consistent rent will not be a problem. Some of my hobbies include: building and repairing computers, playing video games, playing sports (Aussie Rules and Soccer), going to the gym and socialising with friends. I've always taken pride in keeping myself and my living environment hygienic and clean as I think organisation is a critically important aspect to a healthy lifestyle.
Good day everyone, I'm a professional who work full time near Surrey Hills station. I'm a clean, easy going girl who always up for a great chat with my roommates, at the same time I respect each other's privacy very much. Regards Ashleigh
Hi I’m Shivani! I’m looking for a place to move into from approximately 21st of Jan 2018. The place will need to be pet friendly as I have an 8yo mini dachshund (6.0kg). His name is Jono and he’s the most awesome dog you’ll ever meet. But best of all he’s 100% house trained. I will be commencing full time employment at Monash Medical Centre in Feb 2018. So ideally I am looking for a place that’s a maximum 30minutes from there. I will be doing shift work, but rest assured you will not be required to look after my dog. I'm a quiet person and I'm looking for a quiet and clean (ish) place to live long term.
Hi Guys. We are a small family of 3 with a well behaved daughter of 4 years old, we have recently who have recently moved to Australia having spent 7 months in Sydney and we are now in Melbourne! I have signed a contract for a job in Notting Hill and am undergoing the visa process at the moment so I am legally able to work. As I am not allowed to work until I get my visa, we are loathed to rush into a full blown rental property straight away and I am looking at various "options" to keep us accommodated until we are in a position to enter into a more permanent arrangement. A Granny Flat arrangement would be our best solution, however we would certainly look into other options. I am Ex British Military and am used to keeping places spic and span, my wife is from the Philippines and keeps a well organised house and our daughter Jessie May is a well behaved young lady full of fun! We are used to sharing a double bed at the moment until we get ourselves sorted out! I am happy to answer any questions that you might have and have a number of references should you need to contact them, I can also provide you with our police clearances for your information. Best REgards Mike, Joyette and Jessie May.
Hey there! It would be nice to meet you! We are four exchange students (honours program, chemistry) at Monash University from Germany. Besides our studies we love to travel, meet new people and get in touch with the Australian culture. We are looking forward to meet you and maybe introduce you into the German culture. :)
I'm from Japan. I came here as an exchange student. I'm currently studying at Deakin University. I'm looking for a private room with furnished. I need to stay by the end of February or beginning of March.
I'm originally from Albury, currently living in student accomodation but looking to move! I'd describe myself as funny. I love to joke around. I enjoy making new friends and socialising, but at the end of the day I'm mostly content curling up and watching some tv or reading. I love music, play a couple of instruments but only have my keyboard and acoustic guitar with me. I'm probably more a cat person, but I don't mind dogs. I do love pets in general though! I work casually in an art shop around the eastern suburbs. And studying part time at Deakin.
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a room near Hawthorn- flexible with length of stay/suburbs, but please- don't offer unless the move-in date is at least the 1st of January, i've had like 50 messages recently for places that need to be taken asap and I can't do that haha I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. ...and punctuality with rent/housekeeping, but I suppose that's a given. 😌 I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, music, games and outings such as live events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. If those things aren't really your cup of tea, i'm also open to new things and don't really drag people into my personal hobbies anyway. I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard, not a big spender.) I also have an excellent rental history that I can provide references for upon request.
Hey, I'm Enda. I'm an emergency department doctor based in Box Hill Hospital. In my free time I love cycling, surfing and reading. I'd like to think I'm easy to live with. I'm tidy and relaxed. I occasionally work odd shifts at work but I like to socialise and explore Melbourne on the weekends when I'm off. I'm only looking for places within a 10 minute walk of Box Hill Hospital or Box Hill station.
