I'm a 24 y/o British traveler working full time in construction. Not a serial killer, although I killed a fly yesterday and felt awful about it. Anyway, I'm looking for a house with lots of people to enjoy the summer with. Im easy going, tidy, all those good housemate things. Outside of work, my time is mostly split up between the gym, going out, and chilling back at the house to recover after a hard day! If you're in a house full of backpackers, students, or otherwise cool, open minded people then I'd love to meet up and sort something out!
Hey guys, i'm urgently looking for a new place to stay in summer holiday probably for 3 months. Then, i want a peaceful room or house to stay by bringing only 2buggages and my digital piano, because I'm a music student. If you have any place for me anywhere in Melbourne near city will be great for me... By the way, I'm very easy going and positive person would like to go out with my housemates and have a drink etc. I'm a third year music student at monash uni. Clayton campus. Thanks everybody... Looking foward to your friendly and helpful messages.. Xxx

Hi, my name's Hilda. Newbie to Melbourne as of a year ago.. I work in communications for Alfred Health but am a growing yogi. I've started studies just recently so I spend some time at my yoga studio as well as studying at home. Weekends, I'm pretty social - I love coffee & cake dates the most (not a wine type of gal but it's ok once in a while :)). Love travel, art, foreign films, philosophy, friends.. cooking! Even though they are super cute, I can't live with pets as I am allergic... I'm searching for a room in a welcoming house, preferably with one female roommate.. Thanks, looking forward to connecting :)!
Im a quality flatmate as I am easy going, enjoy some socialising with flatmates and time to myself, tidy, polite and friendly. I like bike riding/racing in my spare time and try to keep relatively fit/healthy. Do enjoy a nice glass of wine in the evening though. So I'm balanced! I also have a small boston terrier, who is house trained, does not bark and is generally inconspicuous.
Hi there! My name is Alyssa-Jane, you can call me Alyssa or aj :) After completing year 12 i did dance full time for a year and then moved on to musical theatre. I did not complete my diploma for personal reasons but am still very much an artist/performer. I am social but still like my private time, clean and hygenic. Some of my interests include tattoos, animals, singing, dancing, music, 420, making movies. I'm currently working part time as a waitress/barista at Melbourne airport but will find a new job upon moving out of home. Basically what i am looking for is a home where i can feel safe and be inspired by the people around me. I am also a great shoulder to cry on and not judgmental. *Looking for 2 separate rooms* Hi guys! My sister and I are looking for a place to move into at the start of November (can move sooner). Budget is up to 220/week each. Ideally the rooms will be furnished. Looking at east/inner east/bayside basically anywhere from Richmond through to Caulfield. Close to the Frankston train line would be ideal (Richmond, Armadale, Caulfield North, Prahran, South Yarra, Malvern, etc) We're easy-going, very clean, social and both enjoy a bit of adventure! Would love to move into a young professional and social household, respectful of others space but keen to hang out here and there. I'm 24, work full time in Sales and am starting a digital agency on the side so will be working long hours 5-6 days a week. I'm into the gym, eating healthy, reading and love to chat some shit over a few drinks on the weekends. My sister is 20, works as a hotel reception supervisor, she's super friendly and social and likes to cook. Also enjoys a wine and a laugh. A cheeky bonus to living with us is that we have a holiday home in Phillip Island we love to stay at, which is obviously awesome during Summer and you'll be more than welcome to join! Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm an engineer relocating from Newcastle for work. I like the outdoors and I'm generally quite active during the week with a variety of sports usually followed by a nice meal or craft beer :) At home I like to occasionally cook something new, play a bit of guitar or just have a chat. I like to think that I'm trustworthy, easy going and tend to equal other people's efforts. Looking to share with similar people who are active and sociable, but also respect each other's space and privacy.
I am a consistent person, which means I don't fail on the rent and I don't flake on plans with other tenants (if any) I'm clean and tidy, I especially love a clean kitchen and like to keep my stuff neat to avoid undue stress in a household as the kitchen is the most shared place in a house. I love talking to people and hanging out but I also understand the need for space, and I myself enjoy my privacy and quiet time. I believe I'm a responsible housemate and encourage open communication between all tenants to make sure everybody is happy with living arrangements. I have a membership for a gym but don't go as often as I should be, I'm trying to eat healthier and eat less halal snack packs and maccas, I study Environmental Science, International Relations and Professional and Creative Writing and am really excited for Summer and going to the beach. On a quiet night I enjoy playing a couple video games here and there but work mostly nights at Hoyts at the moment. And that's me! I'm open to more of a chat to see if I'm a good fit for you so hit me up :)

My partner & I are looking for a place to share with possibly another single person or another couple. We have a beautiful little staffy who is 2 months old & will be 4 months old by the time we are ready to move into a new place. We are both respectful, clean and easy going people. We are currently in a small one bedroom apartment and want to find preferably a house with a backyard or bigger apartment. If you have a dog already that is fine as our puppy loves other dogs and it would be nice for her to have a friend. If you don't have a dog you must LOVE them as she has tonnes of energy and will want to play with you!
Hello, my name is Jasmine, I'm currently 19 and Studying full time at University. My current lease ends at the end of the year, and I would love to share a home with like minded individuals. I'm fun and will guarantee to tell you a few horrible jokes on the daily. I'm honest, and will of course pay rent and bills on time. I'm easy to get a long with, don't mind a few drinks but also like a bit of spare time to myself. I write novels in my spare time, so if I ever looked stressed, never fear it's just the good old writers block! I'd be quite happy to cook dinner one or two nights a week, bear in mind that I am a Terrible cook though so eat at your own risk!! Otherwise I I'm currently unemployed, however since being published, I am gaining freelance work and I am also looking for jobs around the areas I have listed and won't stop until I snag one! I've had four years of shared house experience as I moved out of home at a young age, I'd like to think I've matured beyond my years. I appreciate a clean home as I'm sure most people do, so I'm very clean! I'm willing to also team up with someone or a few people in getting our own home also. Hope to hear from you soon! :)
Hey all, I'm looking for a room for me +1 quiet and friendly, mature, housetrained cat named Charlie. I work 5 days/week in hospitality, until I go back to uni full time (+ work part time) for a year to finish my degree. On my days off I generally like to get outdoors if the weather is good and am looking forward to getting some beach days in this summer, (if/when it actually arrives in Melbs). Like to enjoy food and drink and chats with my housemates, but equally enjoy my down time and respect others' need for the same. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to communal spaces. Eat mostly vegetarian, but not wigged out by food of any kind. I’m good for paying rent/bills on time, am not touchy about discussing stuff house-related, very into openness and communication. Am well-trained in house-sharing, and don’t possess any sexist, racist, LGBTI-phobic views/sentiments. Can pay a pet bond, 420-friendly. Come with a bunch of plants and make kombucha regularly. Also looking for new house share start-ups! Feel free to fire any questions my way :)
Hello! I'm usually a happy bubbly person and i think I'm easy to get along with. I'm always up for a chat and a Savvy B :) I'm considerate of other housemates regarding noise and sleeping. I'm clean in the areas that count. Not much of a cook but give it a go! I am pretty good at baking though :) Looking for a social house. I enjoy reading, drawing, sewing, sleeping, socialising with friends and family, i go away every couple of weeks to see family in the country, and i am trying to get back into fitness, so i gym buddy would be awesome! Off street parking would be a bonus but not essential! Also, i am looking for an unfurnished room as i have my own bedroom furniture.
I am a French 27 year old guy, friendly, tidy, social, responsible and reliable. I arrived mid October in Melbourne. I like St Kilda area. I am used to share flats, in France I was sharing a house with a garden, cat and dog with 2 friends of mine for 2 years. I also spent one semester with a Brazilian and a German when I studied in the Netherlands. I am clean and I love cooking. In fact I prefer eating but nobody cooks for me so I had to adapt since in am 10, I also have to work out to not get fat. I am going to get a job as a labourer next week and I want to stay for at least 3 months. I am a salsa dancer by the way ;)
I'm currently a student at Monash, looking for somewhere to live that's closer to the city. I've rented before, so I'm no stranger to cleaning schedules/respecting privacy/keeping noise down etc. When I'm not studying or working I like to go out salsa dancing, see movies/watch Netflix, or just get out of the house and do some sightseeing. I've lived in Melbourne all my life but I like to get out and about. I work casually in retail (10-20 hours a week), and also work at the MCG. I've never had a paying meeting my rent, but wanted to be upfront about my employment situation.
very tidy, don't mind cleaning up after others as long as its reasonable. overall very easy to live with and mostly stick to myself, don't care if you have parties all the time as long as hygiene is a priority, would be better if it wasn't all the time (just showing how chilled out i am :) my main expectations are living in a clean space and respecting each others belongings. i am not wanting to live in a mess or a half way home so if these things aren't important to you i would not be an ideal housemate for you . only looking for a maximum of 6 months stay. cheers

I'm a 28yo chick who has spent the last few years studying nursing in Ballarat (so I don't mind the cold and have a fairly good sense of humor) but I am flying into the city life and full time work in Caulfield South. Studying nursing full time hasn't left much time or money for hobbies lately but I'm a bit crafty (think crochet and watercolour painting) and love to ride my mountain bike and head off camping. My most prized item is my guitar that I still can do no more than strum a few on but love no less. I am fully house trained and love the idea of sharing an occasional meal, though neither of my current house-mates can cook so it's not been a thing in this house. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I am easy going , Fun and friendly, very clean and reliable. Currently working full time as a retail manager and love my job. love socializing, watching Tv shows and cooking. very active , playing soccer a few nights during the week. Looking for a friendly and clean housemates.
Hi there I'm looking for a normal place with some normal people. Everytime I look for places on here they sound great and then say something like "During the week half of the house is used as a doctors waiting room". So I thought teaming up with other like minded people might be the go. Looking for a maximum 3 bedroom place 2 would be fine too. Somewhere with a half decent kitchen as I like to cook and a backyard would be great as I like to upcycle old furniture. A bit more about myself, I moved down to Melbourne in January from Queensland. I like to cook and I like if things are kept fairly clean. I like a beer after work, listening to jjj having a chat but having some alone time too.
I'm an international student, 32 years old, ex-graphic designer, now getting into early childhood education. Easy going, working and studying, quite busy, tidy and organized, love to learn about everything, movies, comics, respectful with personal spaces.
Hi :) Moving to Melbourne from sunny Perth for work. I keep pretty busy during the week with work/sport and enjoy checking out the city/surrounding areas on weekends. I'm reliable, have a stable job and am easy going. If you think I might fit in well, let me know :)
Looking for a place to settle into for myself and 10 week Toy Poodle Tia. I am originally from Melbourne but made the move to South Australia 6 years ago for the Army and now I am ready to come back. I am friendly, polite, considerate and very easy going. With an Army background I like to keep my living space clean and tidy. My passion is bodybuilding and fitness so if I am not at work you can find me at the gym.
Hi there, I am a french traveller in my early thirties, looking for a cozy place and great people to live with. I am open-minded, pretty easy-going and chilled, very respectful of my flatmates' privacy and also enjoy sharing some time, ideas and opinions around a glass of wine. I also enjoying running or any kind of sport or exercice, especially outdoor, into photography and music, and enjoy cooking from time to time.
Work as a teacher 9-5 and usually chill on weeknights. Enjoy getting out and about on weekends and live a healthy lifestyle. Very easy going and respectful housemate. Don't mind a shared cook up from time to time. Looking for clean and tidy housemate.
FLEXIBLE WITH MOVE DATE AND LOCATION :) Also, I have pets! Hi potential roomies! My name is Liv; a 26 year old female, working full time and studying Nutrition via distance. About me; I enjoy seeing live music, finding new cafes and eating my way across Melbourne, day trips to the Dandenong Ranges to immerse myself in nature and walking my pocket sized pooches through all of the beautiful parks Melbourne has to offer! I've had over 5 years of experience living in share house arrangements (in other words, I know to empty the bin when it’s full and to put a new roll of toilet paper on when the existing roll has run out!) Ha, but in all seriousness, living in share houses for this long has meant that I am very considerate, very open minded and respectful of others privacy/separate lives. I’m very clean and I take a lot of pride in the house environment. I love homewares and interior decorating- on a budget- (so much love for Kmart!!). I’m fairly easy going and social, so I don’t mind if you have friends over for a couple of drinks on the weekends. More technical stuff: I have a car so I’d need somewhere (free) to park. I have furniture that I can bring if needed (lounge, dining set, fridge, washing machine, hallway/side tables, kitchen utensils/appliances/crockery) and my own bedroom furniture. I would like a large sized room that comfortably fits queen bed, desk, bed side tables and has a built in wardrobe. I would prefer unlimited internet so I’d be happy to set this up and split costs with housemates or chip in to any existing plan. I’m not in a huge rush to move as I would prefer to wait until I find the perfect fit (house and housemates) so I’m fairly flexible with moving dates as I can stay with my folks in the meantime. I'm not too picky on suburb- somewhere East or South East of Melbourne that isn’t too far from the city (e.g 20 minute drive) with nice walking tracks. I come as a "package" as I have pets (2 teeny tiny dogs and 1 cat). The dogs are tiny (the type that you could fit in your hand bag) however they aren’t small yappy dogs. They are toilet trained indoor dogs however are allowed outside when I am home. They are walked almost everyday however are just as happy to snuggle up together on my bed and wait for me to get home. They are both very clean and go to the dog groomers every 6 weeks (Boo doesn’t lose any hair, Ruby loses minimal). They are very happy little dogs that simply LOVE people and are always happy to be on someone’s (generally, anyone’s!) lap getting attention! My cat Dexter is an indoor/outdoor cat (not allowed outside when it is dark). He is petrified of other cats so I cannot take him into a house where there were existing cats. Although he is scared of other cats, he loves dogs. I can provide rental references for the pets! I need somewhere with a backyard / some form of a grassed area that I can easily access to take the dogs out to the toilet. They often wake me up during the night to take them out so apartments above ground floor are not suitable :( About YOU; I am looking for friendly and social housemates (with experience living in share houses), who are happy to have a chat/laugh when we cross paths and share the odd glass of wine together. HOWEVER I am also a very independent person that appreciates time to myself- so suitable housemates would be respectful of eachothers space. Suitable housemates must LOVE animals and be happy to let my dogs outside to the toilet (if you’re home and I’m not). Suitable housemates would also be clean and share house jobs (rotating rosters have worked well in the past!). I have always lived with strangers who have ended up friends and I see myself living with like-minded people who wish to make a house a home- if I sound like someone you would like to live with, please get in touch :)
Ayoooo I'm Stevie :) Currently working full time in retail management. Super easy going, very much into art/music, I clean a lot when I'm bored. First timer here, so I'd much rather to set a time to get coffee and actually meet ya for a chat!!
I'm 29 years old and from Ireland. Making the move from Sydney to Melbourne as most of my friends are there! I'm very easy going and sociable. I enjoy photography, beach, yoga m, gigs and drinking wine in my spare time 😊
Hi :) Thinking of moving to Melbourne from Sydney and am looking for somewhere to live! I'll be working in after schools clubs in the city between 3 and 4 days a week. I'm originally from Ireland, so I'm always up for the occasional beverage at any time of the week, but also love staying in and chilling out! I'm friendly and love having a laugh, but also understand and appreciate needing your own space Been living in hostels for too long, so I really just want to unpack somewhere and be able to make a cup of tea with minimal effort! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! Hope to hear from you soon, Samantha
I'm looking for a team-up to share a two-bedroom apartment in Caulfield North or Carnegie. I currently live in a one-bedroom apartment in Caulfield North with my boyfriend and my dog and we love the area. We want more space so we are looking to move into a two-bedroom unit. There's plenty of new two-bedroom units available in Caulfield North and Carnegie. I work part-time as a journalist and just finished my course at Monash Uni. My boyfriend studies full-time. My dog Molly is a 17mo King Charles Cavalier who's very quiet and friendly. You will love her. We are a quiet couple who love eating out and don't have house parties. We can supply most of the furniture at the new place.
