Looking for a private room to move in asap! I’m 22 from Wales, UK! Pretty new to living here in Melbourne (3months). I work full time, building up my money after a long stint in Asia and having broke my hand the night before I flew here I’m well on the road to recovery, ready to settle and get out this hostel! I want to finally get down to cooking some good food rather than surviving on the eating out meals. I enjoy going to the gym, watching films, food, music festivals, chilling out and meeting others. I’m 22 so just some of the typical stuff really.. I’m always up for a laugh, basically a sociable being, but as everyone I love my own space too.. I’m down to earth, laid back. When it comes to the important stuff I’m excellent.. I’m clean, polite and respect other people and their property! Simple!
Easy going people. Mariah a barrister and cooper a carpenter. Moved to Melbourne 5 weeks ago from Albany wa. Looking to move into something ASAP. We like eating well, going to the beach relaxing and getting away for camping/hiking adventures

I carry with me a lot of positive energy and fun to be with most times. Am a responsible professional and very tidy, will respect your personal space but wouldn't mind a catch up every now and then with my friendly future house mates if desired. Please kindly contact me if interested. Cheers!
Hi there! I am looking for a long-term accomondation (minimum 3 months) for a couple. Here is a bit information about us: * We are a young couple in our late 20s. Tina is a software engineer and works full time in the city. Summer is a full-time PhD researcher at Monash University --well, he prefers to be called as a PhD researcher rather than a PhD student as he is paid by the Uni for his research - fair enough ;-) And he works part-time for the Uni as Research Assistant & Teach Assistant. * Places near a train station and Monash University Clayton Campus will be perfect for us. Tina commutes to the City every weekday for her 9am-5pm work and she mainly relies on the trains. Summer usually drives but sometimes he cycles to Monash to catch up some exercises. * We need a clean and quiet place. We always enjoy living and chilling out with our housemates. We always clean after ourselves and would expect the same from our housemates. After daily work, Tina usually spends some time on Coursera or reading, so does Summer. * References are available upon request. All our housemates/house owners that we have lived with are happy give a reference. Please let me know if you need one. * We can move NOW. The current house owner allows us to stay as long as we need to find the next place. The reason why we are moving is that we need to give the bedroom to the little boy who started school last month and he wants "independence and privacy" :-D * We don't have kids or pets. But we are quite comfortable to live with kids or pets. Summer actually is a dog lover. * We are caring people and are keen to share chores in/around the place. We are keen to do gardening and cleaning jobs. Summer helped on renovation projects with our previous house owners before. He is comfortable with power tools and machinery - he even holds a forklift ticket... * Our budget is somewhere around $200 per week for a couple. We are open to negotiation. It definitely depends on the location and condition of the accommodation. Inspection and a chat with our housemates are necessary for us to make a decision. * We speak English and Chinese/Mandarin. Please feel free to shoot a message if need more info :-) Cheers, Tina & Summer
Hi My name is Os I’m looking for a share flat, apartment, town house or even a house. I’m very clean, quiet and good team worker. I’m easy to get along with. I don’t smoke or have any bad habits. Very trustworthy and a great person to have good laugh or a conversation. Don’t have too many friends, thanks.
I'm a first year student at Monash Clayton. I'm currently driving 5 days a week from Rosebud hence the reason I'd like to move. When I'm not at uni I'm either working, at the gym or catching up with friends. I'm tidy and friendly, always up for a chat and am respectful of others. Flexible on length of stay, my course is 3 years (at least).
After the realisation that driving upward of 200km a day for work isn't sustainable I'm deciding to try my luck here. Looking for a place in the inner east area due to location of work. A bit about me: 22yo male, sport fanatic (you'll have to put up with a diehard Richmond supporter), work full time, keep to myself but also keen on social drinks, binge watching tv series and getting around most sport. Clean and non smoker, as housemates would need to be! Move in ASAP, I'm ready when you are. If this info sounds like I might be a fit in your place, shoot me a message!
I am a german exchange student, here at Uni Melbourne for the last year of my master studies. Besides the studies I mainly do sports and other free-time activities (exploring this huge city). I am a relatively quite person but always trying to meet new people. The flat should be organized and stay clean if it is a shared option.
We are coming to Australia on 12th April to study massage together with my girlfriend from Lithuania. We will need a place to stay in Melbourne for about one year. Maybe you have a suitable room for a international couple? I look forward to hearing from you. Please let me know more. Thanks
Hey :) I'm Rynette, from Papua New Guinea (although half Australian). Here in Melbourne studying a bachelor of International Relations full-time at RMIT in the city. Pretty laid back, respectful and clean. I'm 27 so not much of a partier anymore, but I'll chill at home with some music and a few red wines here and there :) I'm into music, nature - going on walks, being near the water, camping all that sort of stuff, although I don't get to do it as much as I'd like to. I'll go through phases where I'm super social, and then super not lol (think this might be lots of people?) but not in a bad way, usually just lost in a book or lost in music - headphones in a lot of the time. Either way always friendly, pretty easy to talk to. At the moment I don't work, though this won't be a problem with rent/bills. I spend most of my time at uni, or studying, or gallivanting, so I wont get in your way. I will be working part-time eventually, but at the moment my main concern is uni. I'm perpetually quitting smoking, so I may or may not be a smoker when you meet me :) Looking for a home for 6-12, depending on what works for you and whats available. Hope this suffices, but happy to tell you more if you need. Feel free to contact me. :) -Rynette
I am looking for a home for me and my 6 month old Labrador. She is house trained and very loving and is happy to sleep in my room with me, and she enjoys being outside during the day. I take her for two walks a day and she loves cuddles! I love cooking and cleaning and gardening. I am friendly and enjoy living with others but I also like to have my own personal space to relax.
37yo gay male, starting work near St Kilda. Studying at uni (cloud campus) so will need some quiet time to hit the books. Naturally introverted but still like being social and going out on occasion for a drink or three. In the IT industry (free IT support in your house!) but also into the dramatic arts/music. Very clean and neat (slightly OCD) and respectful of other’s space and needs. Some of my requirements: * non-smoking house * air-con available in room * mosquito netting on windows/doors (mozzies love me!) * no cats as they make me sneeze/itch
- I’ve lived alone for over 2 years sk I’m very organised and trustworthy. - Currently living alone paying $270 per week; my rental history is on point. - Friendly ‘mister nice guy’ open to making friends although generally quite reserved. - Very conscientious of others
Hi there, I am a Software Engineer, working full-time. Have been living in Brisbane for the past 19 years and now relocating to Melbourne for work. I am looking for a modern, clean, and furnished place to stay short to medium term, ie anywhere between 2-6 months. I am a vegan and love all animals. I am very friendly, I enjoy having meaningful conversations but also need my own quiet time and respect other people's space. I enjoy running, swimming, cycling, and hiking. I play the piano and love classical music. Love to travel and explore new places. If you want to learn more about me or have any questions, please feel free to send me a message! :)
I live an active lifestyle, mainly healthy, love market shopping, red wine + choc. I work full time 9-5 mon-fri, but do some fitness instructing on the side = busy life. Easy going, down to earth and love my life. Not into having house parties, don't go out partying often but do like to drink at bars or cheeky reds after a long week. Enjoy chill week nights and love having clean tidy house to live in. Non smoker, no pets.
Hey y'all. 24. Graduate engineer. I keep my head down during the week, but am a chatty fella who loves to get amongst it on weekends. If you're looking to fill a room or want to team-up, shoot me a message. Keen to arrange a meeting asap. Ta.
I’m an engineer who has just moved back to Australia after working overseas for the past 10 years. Just looking for a place to move in to for around 9 months until I get settled and buy a place. I’m up early in the mornings and am very active. There may definitely be some Netflix on the couch from time to time though!
I've just returned after living abroad for seven years and I'm looking for a place while I study one semester in Moorabbin. I'm a quiet, clean, easy going person who likes to keep healthy. I don't smoke or drink a lot.
Me and my partner Violet are both open-minded, artistic, introverted types looking for a cozy, stable place to live in long-term (3 months at the minimum). We're clean, respectful, and value open communication and good conversation with our housemates. I enjoy free-form dancing, working out, going to the occasional gig, playing my bass and reading up on non-fictional subjects such as philosophy and psychology. Violet likes doing art projects, reading both non-fiction and fictional novels, making zines, playing games, cooking, and going for walks and adventures. Ideally we'd like a place close to public transport but aren't too fussed as long as it's somewhat close to the city. Furnished/unfurnished both welcome.
Clean, open-minded, queer couple from Canada looking for a home for the next six to nine months! Both vegetarians, love music, adventure, and animals. We don't party but we enjoy the occasional glass of wine or beer, and going to see live music. We are respectful of shared spaces and privacy, but would love the opportunity to live with like-minded people who enjoy chatting over a meal or beverage! Open to any neighbourhood as long as it's near public transport!
I'm a scientist and educator recently moved to Australia from overseas. I've worked and traveled around the world, from Switzerland to Africa. My work keeps me quite busy, but I enjoy swimming, fishing, and photography.
