Im currently a student at Monash, looking to live near campus. Some stuff about me, I'm from Mauritius and I speak French. Love cooking. Been living a long time sharing with mates, so I know how to respect boundaries. Looking forward for any cool people to share a flat/house together.
I'm pretty lax and do my own thing most of the time and won't be much of a bother unless you'd like to talk and share a meal to cook together every now and then or the like :) I love animals and won't mind if you've got a pet or more I have several potted indoor plants (a flowering peace lily, two cacti, an aloe vera, an ivy, a spider plant, and mother-in-law's tongue) I'd prefer if you don't smoke anything thanks
I`m a PH.D. candidate in biology from Germany (Bavaria) and I´m very happy to get the opportunity to move to Melbourne to work at Monash University for half a year. I`m an open-minded and easy-going person who likes to laugh and spend time with friends. In my free-time I like to travel and get to know to other people around the world. So I`m very excited to come to Australia and meet locals, experience australian culture and travel around in the amazing nature. I`m a sporty person who likes to bike, playing football or beach volleyball. I would also love to learn how to surf during my time in Australia. I also like to relax after work enjoying a good meal, drinking a cold draught beer, playing cards or having cozy film evenings.
My name is Courtney and I’m 25 years old, I study a full time Bachelor’s degree via correspondence and i’m making the move to Melbourne in February 2018 to study on campus. I currently work full time in administration and have been working in the same position for 3 years. I’m an easy going person and I respect people’s space within a shared house, I’m tidy and will always pull my weight around the house. I enjoy quiet time and love to watch Netflix but at the same time I can be quiet sociable and enjoy weekend brunches and coffee, I also have a love for cooking vegetarian cuisine, listening to music and attending live gigs. I’m not looking to live in a party house but at the same times I don’t mind the occasional drink on weekends and going out. Looking for someone who shares similar interests to myself. Please feel free to message me if you have a room available anytime in February 2018 and you think we would be a good fit 😊
Very easy going & looking for a chill home environment. Working professional, do like quiet times but also like to socialise and looking for a place to call home. Tidy and responsible as I've housesat for many years caring for peoples homes and pets. Originally from Brisbane, now call Melbourne home
Hey there! I'm Sam, and I'm probably the best person you will ever meet! I'm friendly, respectful, kind, and I love to laugh and chat with others! I'm an aspiring writer who did a writing course at RMIT, and I spend a lot of my time typing away on my laptop. I work in retail part-time, occasionally full-time. I play musical instruments for fun, but I wouldn't make a racket while you're at home if the noise bothers you. In fact, I don't really jam that often anymore anyway. I'm clean, tidy, considerate to the personal space of others, and I'm a team player. You will never have any problems living with me. I love to have fun with others, whether it's dinner and drinks in the city or a quiet one at home. I'm a big movie/TV buff and music lover, so if you have a similar interest to me we will get along just fine!
Two young students, always up for a bit of banter! Emily is from New South Whales, Aimee is a Melbourne gal- both here to study at Monash, Clayton. Very clean and respectful and looking for someone similar who is friendly and considerate. We are leaving university residential accomodation so are accustomed to house-sharing and independent living. We enjoy to get out of the house but also prioritise our studies - looking for housemates who can similarly find a happy medium.
Hi, I am Darshan, 34 yrs old male. I have two permanent part time jobs (Mon-Sat). I recently got married, my wife Sneha is in India and expected to join me shortly as she awaits her visa to be approved in the next month. I would like to share a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with one other couple in the areas mentioned in the subject. Expected move in will be between 25-12 to 6/1. I stay very busy through the week, starting my shift at 4 am and returning at 6 pm. Sneha will remain home until she finds a suitable job. We both are very quiet and like our privacy. We consider ourselves respectful and jolly. We like cleanliness at all times. We are looking to share a home with a couple with similar mindset. Please message me to discuss further.
I'm a student at Monash Uni studying engineering and science. I absolutely love physics, and volunteer with Engineers Without Borders. I love piano, singing, and am thinking of taking up guitar (due to its portable nature). I love learning languages and travelling, though unfortunately it uses money which is finite :P I'm not a party person, I'm more of a 'play board games and/or have a meal with people' person. I'm currently trying to do the whole sleep early and get up early thing, and putting exercise into my routine. I love talking to people and getting to know them. In a household I make sure to contain any mess to my room so that it doesn't affect others. It would be cool to make friends with whoever I end up sharing a place with, but if you want to keep more to yourself I can respect that as well. Not sure what else to write in here, I'm never that great at these sorts of things. In terms of location I just want to be able to easily take public transport to Monash Clayton, am pretty flexible with location. Moving date is also flexible, though it needs to be sometime this summer.
A fun, super energetic 20 year old gal who understands the meaning of responsibility and sharing and is looking for a safe and relatively clean place to live. If you're having a bad day, you'll always find a shoulder to cry on and some ice cream to munch on. Other than being obsessed with food, I have a love for any type of music and can play 'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz on my ukelele at your request.
I am a fun Indian to stay with. Mature for my age and can compete very well in a beer competition. I am a clean person and quiet sleeper so no snoring or walking around in the middle of the night. I am currently a full-time student at Monash University, Caulfield pursuing a Double Masters in Journalism. I have an awesome friend circle so far full of international students and would love to make some more. P.S- I can cook well and make one of the best-scrambled eggs. (demonstrations subject to availability of eggs and necessary kitchen equipment in the house) My move in date is the end of February 2018 and my maximum stay would be up to 14 weeks. If I do want to extend my stay, I will provide a 4-week notice. Looking for a private room near Monash, Caulfield campus.
I just finished my psychology degree at Monash, and am currently working full-time in the city. I plan to return to uni next year to do my honours, so I'm looking to move sometime from January to February. I'm always up for chilling with cool people and I love to cook (particularly baking), however I also value kitchen cleanliness! I am not looking to move into a massive party house, but I'm up for a house where everyone's happy to chill together sometimes. I'm very friendly, and love to travel and meet new people. I am also tidy and respect the space of others. If I sound like I would fit in with your house then I'd love to hear from you!
My name is Serena, a student from China studying Marketing in Holmesglen, Chadstone campus. I would like to share a room with either English or Mandarin speakers, and keep the house clean and tidy always. All ages / cultures seem to be fine to me, and always better to be near the campus. Prefer a place where the public transport is available to the campus, cos I do not own a car for the time being. And if you have 2 rooms available is better , cos I have a friend (a girl ) want to live with me in same house!
Im a single women that works 50 plus hours a week. 80% of my time im working. I dont drink, i dont do drugs and im to old to party. Im pretty positive, care free, quit and pretty easy going. Keep to myself but alway interested in making new friends. Im a bit of an OCD clean freak. As most chefs are so i like to live clean. And its only fair if evrything is equal. Eg cleaning, bills, toilet paper ect.... Im not racist. We are all born equal. We all bleed red and are pink on the inside. I do have 2 cats. They are indoor and out door cats. Both desexed. Both very friendly. There my fur babys and i couldnt possibly part with them.
Looking for a fully furnished ensuite in an apartment or a house with no more than three mates (Includes me). Prefer to be messaged first rather than call pls. This is Emily originally from China and about to graduate from Monash Uni. I Love keeping an active lifestyle. Workout five times a week and enjoy trying healthy recipes. Easy to get along with and respect personal space.
We are a young active couple who recently moved from Brisbane to Melbourne. We both work, having Matt as a tradie and Jessie working in hospitality. We love to go out and explore our new city on the weekends whilst unwinding during the week; watching tv and relaxing after a days work. Matt loves sports and plays football (soccer) and Jessie has a very fond appreciation of food (but can't cook). We are a clean and tidy couple, with no pets, non-smokers, but love the occasional drink. We are looking to find a long term place with friendly, easy going company. Looking forward to hearing back from potential flatmates, Matt & Jessie :)
Hello! I am Anitha from Malaysia. I am joining a PhD program in Monash University in February 2018. I am a respectful, humble, friendly, tidy, and studious person. I like to keep to myself most of the time. I am certainly open for a friendly talk and to hang out anytime. I am looking for a spacious, furnished private room. I prefer a peaceful, tidy and quiet environment to live.
Hi there, I am a working professional and recently moved over from NZ for work. I am looking for a great bunch of people to house share with or be part of an existing house share. I would say I'm considerate, tidy and very easy to get on with. Preferably, the place I move into is an unfurnished room as I have my own bedroom furniture. I am looking for a place in the south-eastern end of Melbourne. I enjoy going to the gym, taking my road bike out for a good ride and exploring new places or restaurants.
I'm Chris! I'm an apprentice chippy and I also work part time on my family farm, mostly of a weekend. I am a down to earth guy, have a great sense of humour and easy to get along with. I am an organised and clean sort of person. I play guitar and a bit of piano, but don't worry I have headphones! I absolutely respect others privacy (as I do prefer my own also), but love to kick back and have a quiet beer after a days work or study. I'm sure we'll get along great!
