Hi I'm Victor, 25 from Stockholm, Sweden. I'm a law student attending Deakin University for a trimester. I'm really looking forward my time in Melbourne, I have only been visiting the city once a few days back in 2013 when I backpacked the east coast. I would prefer to share a flat with people not speaking Swedish, to get the most out of my stay. And also to make new connections. I would say I'm an outgoing, respectful and open minded person. I am a responsible clean/organised housemate. I love to cook and hang out over drinks and food. Back home I sing in a choir which is so much fun. I like bench watching series (latest one is Sense8), I try to exercise some and I really do enjoy searching for treasures in flee markets/antique shops. I would prefer to stay at one place during my time in Melbourne and my stay is founded by student aid and of course a lot of savings. Hope to hear from you, cheers!
I’m a bubbly person whose great company with flexible easy- going attitude. Work full time in the city so will be home some evenings - I do like to eat out occasionally and catch up with friends. Love the arts and enjoy live music and the theatre. I also love to cook. It would be great to share a place with likeminded people who I can share a few meals with, some good chats and wine of course :-) I love animals and happy to live with one. I’m neat, tidy and considerate of others! Look forward to sharing with a few great people!

Hi I am studying at Monash University. I am a very tidy person, down-to-earth, quiet, spontaneous and non-party person. I do not smoke nor I have any pets. I can also consider short term accommodation. I am also open for teaming up with other students and people to look or move into a new house. Also flexible with the duration and moving in dates.
Hi, I am Rahul, 25 years old from India and brand new to Australia (aeroplane landed on Melbourne airport on 11th june at 4:03 am ;) ). Previously, I was in Germany for 3.5 years and have travelled across many European countries. Here, I am a PhD research scholar in Astrophysics at Swinburne University of Technology and I am looking for a room in a shared apartment/flat nearby Swinburne campus. I have lived in flat sharing for more than 5 years and hence, I know very well how to live with complete cleanliness, hygiene and understanding in all aspects so don't worry at all about these requirements. Besides that, I respect everyone and their privacy. I am very friendly and easy going person. Apart from loving my work, I love singing, cooking and making new friends. Please do not hesitate to ask me any further questions. I would be more than happy to answer them. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi there! My flatmate of nearly 6 years is heading overseas so I’m looking for a new long-term lease. I’m 23 and have a degree in Professional Writing and Editing, but I work full time in Hawthorn doing market research. I’m currently not really home on weekends as I head back to visit my family in Gippsland. I’m always up for a movie or a chat and something to eat after work, but I’m also big on respecting each other’s space. I like to think I’m a friendly and relaxed person who loves meeting new people. Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions! P.s, I have all my own bedroom furniture and also a washing machine and microwave if needed. 👍
Hello all! My name is Lucía and I'm an exchange student from Spain that will be studying at Monash for a year. I'm looking forward to exploring all the different parts (and food) of Australia so if you already know of places, or would enjoy to join me I would love it! I enjoy spending time with Friends, having a nice chat or going out. I respect others and give them space to be with themselves, but I would also like to hangout, get to know each other and have fun together. I'm looking for a place from where I can easily get to Monash university (Clayton). If you think we'd get along well just message me!
Hi I'm Laura, I'm 21 years old and I have a cat named Cleo so if you're allergic to cats I'm probably not for you sorry! A bit about me; I was born in the US but have lived in Australia since I was 5; almost all of that in Melbourne. I'm an artsy person who loves nature and craft and often holed up in my room working on something but I'm always down for a beer and a hang. I like to cook and I've been told I'm pretty okay at it and I'm always happy to cook for others; though I am a vegetarian so you'll have to cook up your own meat! But I have no problem living with people with different diets to me 😊. Cleo is an old girl at 12 but she's very chill and spends most of the day on the couch and loves a pat. I have alot of furnishings including 3 couches, a dining table, a fridge, a kettle and toaster, two desks, an outdoor table set, a washing machine and two beanbags; so I have that pretty much covered 😂. I'm mainly looking to rent a new place with people because I have so much furniture so if you're interested in teaming up with me I'll be happy to hear from you!
I'm a student from the Netherlands and from July I'll be studying at Monash University for one semester. Although I will be following units related to mathematical finance, I'm mainly coming to Melbourne to see more of the world and meet new people. For this I'm looking for a nice home base, preferably as close to the Caulfield campus as possible, such that travel times between Caulfield and Clayton campus are limited and there are enough opportunities to do many things in the city (center). Currently, I live in a house with four other students, where we often drink a beer or eat together and do a lot of activities with each other (e.g. playing sports). Because we have a shared living room, we often invite other people who live elsewhere in the city. This often leads to a lot of spontaneous activities, which have produced many unforgettable moments. This is not necessarily a requirement for me in a new student residence and I am certainly open to everything that comes my way. It does, however, give an idea of how I currently experience my student days and that I am mainly looking for meeting new and nice people, whether or not in my new home.
I’m Helen, 25 from the UK on a WHV. Looking for a place until my contract at Swinburne uni at the end of July finishes up and I travel a bit more. I’m working full time Monday to Friday so am usually too ded to do anything on a weeknight other than hang out, watch Netflix or read. I’m easy going and enjoy a drink and a chat but am also happy in my own space. I know how to keep a place clean and pay bills on time. ...what other kinds of stuff do people usually put on these things? I dunno 🤷♀️✌️
Hi my name is Katie! I’m a very social person although I like spending time more often alone, watching tv, reading a book, painting and listening to music. I’m always down to do whatever! I have a boyfriend also and spend time with him quite a lot too and we love to cook and try to be healthy. I work at Priceline/pharmacy in Southland working five/six days a week and on my days off I’m either at the gym or food shopping and doing house chores. I’m a clean person and have no trouble cleaning up after myself and being respectful of others’ space. I’m currently living in Cheltenham but no longer want to stay as the accomodation is so expensive. I have been living at this place for 6 months. Hope you can help a gal out! Thank you!
Hi :-) Looking for a private room in Mt Waverley, Glen Iris, Ashburton, surrounding suburbs. I study full time at Deakin and also work 3-4 days per week in real estate in Glen Waverley. Would prefer to share with 1-2 others. Experience in house sharing and I generally keep to myself during the week as work and study keep me on my toes. With that said I'm always keen to share a meal and some drinks with my housemates as well. If I do have a free weekend or long weekend I generally spend them in Bendigo with my family. I’m a neat and tidy person who is respectful of others belongings. I love to keep a clean home but also understand how busy life is and make allowances for that. Also looking for off street parking where possible. Would love to chat if you think I would be a suitable housemate :) Cheers Tyler
I come from New Delhi, India. Moving to Melbourne for Masters in RMIT. Interior Designer by profession so will always keep the house tastefully decorated. I love watching films, socialising and learn new things. I love to explore untapped places and learn about different cultures. I love to talk (anything/everything) along with being an exceptional listener :D I ll always be up for brunches/drinks in the weekends or treks for that fact.
Moved from Newcastle NSW to Melbourne last year to continue my career and experience the lifestyle that comes with living in a big city. My current accommodation is finishing at the end of July so im looking to move and find something a little closer to work. Through the week I'm pretty busy so just looking for something quiet and laid back weekdays with people do don't mind a cheeky drink after a hard day or just to catch up over a TV show or dinner but more importantly with people who dont mind sharing with me their their favourite cafe and brunch spots on weekends.
I am fun, friendly, and easy to get along with. I work full time and try to get an early night Mon - Friday as I'm usually up before 6am for work. For fun, on the weekends I like to go to bars, markets, shopping, the gym, out for dinner, or watch Netflix if the weather is rubbish.
I am employed full time and have a pet cat called Ellie. Ellie is 8 years old, house trained and shy. I am looking to share with an owner of a house around my age who is house proud in a lovely home in the Hawthorn area, near trains but also with off street parking (garage preferred). I only need 4-6mths before I find my own place in Hawthorn. I am happy also to assist an older lady with shopping and companionship. I sometimes work from home and travel for work and on holidays. I love to walk, to sing karaoke (not at home), spend time with friends and enjoy all of the wonderful eateries around Melbourne and Victoria. I am a quiet person who is clean and tidy. I don't mind cooking together and spending time with my housemate.
Hi!! I am Avinash or so mostly called “Avi” and I am from India. Apart from being a travel enthusiast and a movie-buff, I am a full-time PhD student at Monash University studying Genetics. Being a PhD student and having late hours in the lab, I am looking for a long-term accommodation close to (preferably walkable distance) Clayton campus shared with some friendly and interactive house-mates. I am pretty easy going guy and always up for a chill.
I'll be a business student at Swinburne University starting this July. Friendly, cooperative, supportive, open-minded, neat, having a great collection of music and movies. I will start working part-time soon. I would love to hang out and go out on weekends (always up for an adventure). I can be of great help in cooking (basics). I prefer to keep myself fit and will accompany you in gym or playing sports. I have no issues with pets or smoking and I would appreciate having my personal space too. Will attend all the concerts and favourable events possible. I'd love to explore new places and have new experiences.
