Hi - I'm Glenn. I have a long history working in the helping type fields such as nursing and psychology with multiple undergraduate and post graduate degrees. I am very caring, empathic, considerate and have always been compassionate towards others, regardless of who they are or where they've been. I guess humility, acceptance and openness are some of my key values/traits and although my path is not the same as others, I love to hear about other people's past experiences and their hopes and visions for the future. More recently, I have been focusing on my music composing and looking at how I can use my skills to generate an additional income whilst doing something that I have always loved. Initially, I have created alliances with video game developers to provide background music, but I have always wanted the music I write to be more uplifting than to purely motivate people to slay the purple dragon and find the blessed magic brussel sprout (Clearly with that description, I don't play video games - but hey... that is a great idea for a game yeah??) I'm currently liaising with wedding planners and wedding celebrants to provide personalized music that couples can use as part of their wedding day. Songs that not only express how they feel about each other but promote this love and excitement in others. But, the desire to make people feel special goes much deeper than this. Last year, a friend was suicidal and in a very bad way. She had several admissions to hospital, and some very intense treatment. It was heartbreaking that she was unable to see just how beautiful and special she is and just how much she is love by those around her. I wrote her a song titled "We love you" which tried to remind her of that fact. (You are welcome to listen to it). So, I feel passionate about reminding people when they just cant see it - through music - just how important they really are - I hope I can do that more. I'd love to set up some kind of not for profit organisation where I can write individual, personalized music for people purely to help remind them that they are important. I'm leaning towards the name 'Every Note' because when it comes to music, each note works together to create an overall piece of musical truth and beauty. I think that is just as applicable to people. Every person is inherently important and an integral part of the world. Plus, I think music in its various forms, is so influential on people individually, yet at the same time joins our collective souls. I also LOVE animals - and I have two adorable cats. You don't have to love them - but I could never live with a cat hater. I am their carer, protector, food giver (most importantly) - and they rely on me. Having them is a gift and I don't take that lightly. I need somewhere that they would feel comfortable. I also enjoy doing woodwork as a hobby - although I'm pretty bloody useless at it - but it doesn't seem to have lessened my enthusiasm for some reason. Not sure why that is. I pretty much get on with anyone and seem to be able to find something to talk about. I make a point of making people feel comfortable and welcome without being over the top. I'm probably more mature now and settled and stuff and enjoy more quieter times - but I still tend to get excited over someone saying "Hey.... why don't we....." which usually results in a "*#@^ yeah! That is brilliant" I'm very respectful, considerate, empathic and compassionate, and a great listener. But, I'm also sensitive to other people's needs and respect my own and others personal space. Oh and I also make a point of trying to do volunteer work where I can - that has previously included cleaning out, washing dog yards at the RSPCA, being a welcomer/cuppa person for people attending the Salvation Army who are experiencing difficult times, to try and make them feel at ease, Hon secretary for community support group and I am currently volunteering as Treasurer for a not for profit, community support group. As a bonus I also come with an unlimited supply of lame jokes and am the person to have on your trivia team if the subject "Hits of the 80's"ever comes up. Probably crapped on enough. Cheers Glenn

Helllooo, Born in QLD, raised in VIC and lived in NSW. I have been everywhere man! I have literally just moved back to Melbourne from Sydney and am looking for fun and friendly place to live with people who enjoy to talk but also like their own space. Will be working in hospitality, with previous history working in 5 star function venues. I also love children, thus why I will be completing my Diploma in Early Child Education for the next 6 months. I am usually a busy bee, as there is always something to do. You would hear me talk about my (attempts at the) gym life, my love of coffee, books, movies and TV series. I have been told I am a very bubbly person who loves a good chat, laugh and sharing my food, but I also appreciate my own quiet time to read or study. I look forward to hearing from you.

Moving to Geelong from Adelaide to study medicine at Deakin, Waurn Ponds. Hardworking, clean, organised. Vegan and like being around healthy, motivated people. Like to reduce waste and cut costs, so would love energy and water efficient housemates, especially if bills are going to be evenly split. I will also work alongside studying, so I don't plan to be around too much. But I love to cook and would love a big kitchen space. I also love plants and having them inside and out, so I would hope that my housemates would not mind a plant here or there. I like going for hikes, runs and rides. I would love a place that has neat riding trails nearby, especially to and from the university.

Hi there, I'm a 32 year old professional looking for a new place to stay! I work long hours but when I'm home I enjoy socialising but also enjoy the quiet times too. I like to hang out with friends, bars and pubs with some tunes, AFL (massive hawks fan) and go to the gym, cycle etc. I am a respectful, clean and considerate person and come from a 3 bedroom home, so have all furniture to utilise! I'm looking for someone who is similar in having a chat and a laugh, but also likes their downtime too. I have children, but they don't live with me. They generally stay one weekend per fortnight/month. Most of the time we aren't home and really come home to sleep and then up and about the next day. Can make alternate arrangements if required, but this has generally not been a problem in the past with housemates If you'd like to know any more, then let me know and I'll be happy to share!
Hello potential roommate! My name is Kyran, I've lived in Geelong for the last four years. I finished my bachelor in Architectural Technology this week and I'm looking to move back up to Melbourne now that I am done. Though I loathe the term, I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting up a retail power company. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. Comes fully house trained. I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finished, and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I am looking for a room big enough for a queen sized bed. I also use a fair bit of freezer space. I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Things like a push button coffee machine, sous vide cooker, Olympic weights, fitness gear, and other bits and bobs. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and love a deep conversation.

I'm 21 years of age and work full time in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I'm a fun bubbly person who loves to catch up with friends regularly and be productive on weekends. I study part time through work so I tend to be a bit of a hermit from time to time. I'm a very clean person, making sure all communal areas of the house are clean all the time. I like to interact with my housemates but I also love to be on my own and enjoy the peace and quiet. If you think I'd make a good housemate, give me a message. Looking to move out in January!

PLEASE READ WHOLE DESCRIPTION BEFORE MESSAGING I've been renting for about a year now, and my time at my current home is coming to a close. Looking for a new home in the east/south east. I am a casual stocktaker with a reliable income, and I work at various times on different days. I don't drive or own a car so I would prefer to be close to public transport. I clean up after myself, am careful in my usage of home utilities and respect others' privacy and personal space, so I hope to expect the same from those I share with. I'm pretty quiet but happy to socialise, and I'm open to house events and the like. In my free time, I tend to keep to myself as I'm a bit of an introvert. I like to play games, read, watch movies and learn things to cook. I don't often drink or go out, but I don't care if anyone else does. I'm also non-vegan (don't mind if you are), non-smoker and am happy with LGBT+. I'd prefer to live with other non-smokers, and people who aren't fussed about my sexuality. My boyfriend sometimes comes over for a visit, or to stay the night, and other nights I stay at his place (we work together so it depends). He is 21, quiet and respectful. We mostly keep to ourselves, playing games and watching stuff on my computer. If there is anything you need to know, please feel free to message me. :)
I am doing a PhD at Monash University on how brain is developed and function. When I am not in the lab, I go for hike, play soccer, watch movies and TV series. I like to keep my environmet clean and that is what I'd expect from my future flatmates. I moved to Australia from Turkey 9 months ago and I have been living alone in a studio apartment in Prahran since then. Actually I enjoy that but it is soooo quiet and getting boring. I gotta admit that I missed hanging out with flatmates. Also I want to get closer to the university which is in Clayton.
