Hi potential roomies, hope to hear from you soon! My name is Lucas and I'm a 30 year old guy currently working for the Bureau of meteorology near southern cross. I enjoy watching movies and TV shows in my spare time, or reading useless facts on the internet. I also enjoy going to the beach, going on road-trips, and Nandos! I can alternate between being very social and very not, depends on mood. I grew up in QLD though have lived in Melbourne since 2009. I'm gettting to get back into fitness and health after Knee surgery in April (2017)... Starting off well so far and looking at trying to find some new hobbies when I can. Would enjoy doing these types of things with you if you're interested. I'm looking for somewhere that will become available any time after now through to 'earlyish' next year. Need somewhere closish to public transport due to lack of a car. Thanks!
Hi there, we are a couple from Hungary on WHV, and we are searching for a place from the 3rd of December till the end of January. Chris is working as a full time 3D designer, and I'm working in a shop 5 days a week. After January, we are going to leave Melbourne, and moving to Queensland area. We are both reliable persons, and like to keep our space very clean and tidy. It would be nice to find a place where we are able to rest, and using our own bathroom. We don't have great expectations, just trying to find a nice, clean space where we can stay for 2 months :) cheers! alíz
I work full time in Box Hill but I've lived in Cheltenham for the last 4 years and I don't particularly want to move suburbs, I enjoy having the NBN and I'm a tremendous nerd. If I'm not working, I'm usually playing games on my computer, or doing general household chores. I'm not a big party person, and would prefer most nights at home or with my partner, I'm always up to hang out most of the time. I'd like to start a new share house however I'm up for moving into a house. I own a massage chair (Like the ones in shopping centres), and have furniture that I will either need to put in storage or do something with. It's likely that you may not even realise you're living with me unless I'm gaming with friends, which is where I usually perk up a bit and can sometimes get a bit loud but I'll re frame from being too loud if someone is sleeping.
Hi iam easy going ,and many people find me amusing, lol Enjoy being physically active, and would prefer to share than live on my own I work full time in the watch idustry ! Hope to hear from you !
G'day there, I'm Matt, and I'm 23 years old working as a salesperson. Besides being bloody good at paying rent and bills on time, here's a little about me; I'm a clean and tidy guy who enjoys a clean house to come home to. I've lived in share house for 2 years now. In my spare time I'll be out at the gym keeping fit, seeing friends and getting out to see a gig or some sport. And if the suns out, I'll most likely be at the beach. I enjoy relaxing to a good movie, or a couple beers with my housemates but I understand personal space and will definitely give that, however won't be the one who sits in his room all day. If I sound like a cool potential housemate, send us a message!
Hi there! I'm recently moved back to Melbourne from a three year interstate adventure, and I'm looking for a share house to live in. I currently work full time as a law clerk in West Melbourne, and study online. I'm laid back, clean and pretty mature. I've been living out of home for 6 years now. I like my own down-time, but also enjoy having house mates to spend time with. I enjoy writing, food & wine, the arts, reading, yoga and travelling. I especially love animals, so I would love to move in somewhere with a pet to cuddle/walk/help look after, I am looking for a place to call home, not just somewhere to crash! Ps. I make a mean espresso martini
Hi there, My name is Mahela and I am a full-time naturopathy student. I'm currently residing in Bentleigh East with family but am looking to soon move back out long-term. I'm not currently working but am actively hunting for part-time employment in retail, as that is where I have experience. I commute to Fitzroy for classes twice a week and spend the other three days I have between Monday and Friday studying independently. When I'm not studying, I enjoy exercising, reading, cooking and going to the cinema and art exhibitions. I'm responsible and always clean up after myself, follow house rules and pay my bills on time, if not early.
I'm Sanjay, a 26 year old doctor working full-time at Monash next year. I'm respectful and tidy, and am looking for a new place to call home with other like-minded young professionals.
Hi there! My name's Arundhathi and I currently study Arts/Law at Monash University. I'm a Melbourne local and am generally quite quiet but very friendly! I love reading, playing ping pong with my friends, socialising and watching documentaries. I currently work in hospital administration as well and volunteer in the community legal sector.
I'm a full time student studying Engineering at Monash University. I'm a friendly, easy going and clean person who enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and doing film photography in my spare time! I'm always happy to chat and have a laugh with my housemates whenever I can. At the same time I like to keep quiet during my time at home. Having lived in a share house, I'm respectful and considerate of people's privacy and space. I'm also pet friendly as I've grown up with animals :)
Very easy going & looking for a chill home environment. Working professional, do like quiet times but also like to socialise and looking for a place to call home. Tidy and responsible as I've housesat for many years caring for peoples homes and pets. Originally from Brisbane, now call Melbourne home
Hi, my name is Niki. I work full time so i am pretty low key during the week maybe i have a glass of wine at night, i do go out quite a bit on the weekend. I am clean and super easy to get along with.
I’m a professional musician moving from Adelaide, Sydney girl from Bondi moving to Melbourne by Jan 2018. I can be in Melbs in December to look at places with the right housemate. I’d like to team up with someone to find an entire home, three bedrooms would be ideal. Ideally I would love to live with a driven professional, artist or musician. I’m professional but know how to let my hair down. I have high standards for keeping the house beautiful and a safe haven. I also have a recruiting business which I runs from home. I’m social, fun, extremely driven and motivated. Fit and active. I enjoy a glass of wine at home but don’t throw parties, we can go out for that. I respect boundaries and need privacy and space, I don’t want an apartment I want a home big enough for quiet autonomy. I have a shitzu called machete, you’ll adore him. I want a warm beautiful fun creative home. X Text me for a team up ..
Hi there, I have just come back from overseas and am currently looking for a place that I can call home! I enjoy a relatively neat and comfortable place, with people that are responsible, mature and friendly :) I have lived in share houses for several years, so I am aware of the expectations in regards to sharing and respecting spaces. Ideally, I'd love to live with young professionals and/or students, as I am a student myself. I am studying a degree in early childhood education, as well as working in a children's centre, and in hospitality on the weekends. I do enjoy my alone time, but of course more than happy to spend time together for dinner, chats, board games and other housemate activities!
Hi, I'm Jake from Charlotte, North Carolina, USA and I am on a working holiday visa. I've been traveling since August 2016 and have been in Australia since March 2017. I've traveled most of western Europe, Morocco, Israel, and Vietnam prior to coming to Australia. I've lived in Sydney and the Gold Coast and have now moved to Melbourne to spend the entire summer. I am looking for a lease at least until March 1, and maybe longer, as I am trying to stay in Australia permanently via a sponsorship or a work visa, and Melbourne already seems like a great place. I am a great roommate to have as I am clean, considerate, and respectful. I am social and active, and I will have a full time job while here in Melbourne. I enjoy working out at the gym, playing soccer, riding bicycle around Melbourne (yet to be purchased), THE BEACH, movies (of course), with the occasional night out on the weekend. I'm also a pretty good cook. I worked for Lion Nathan (XXXX/Tooheys) in Sydney for 4 months, and then got a more casual job at The Coffee Club in Gold Coast. Here in Melbourne, I will likely do construction work of some sort or work an office job. I am looking for jobs now, but I can ensure that I have no money issues as I worked for a large mortgage bank for many years back in North Carolina. Thanks and I look forward to meeting you.
Hey guys. Im Mark, Im from Malaysia and recently finished my studies as a postgrad student here in Melbourne. As my current lease is almost up, im looking for a new place to stay from December onwards. I spent a good portion of my life living in England, and thus i've had loads of experience in living in shared accommodation, and meeting people from all walks of life, as i also grew up in a boarding school when in England. Id say im easy going, chilled out, understanding and respectful of others. In my free time I like to stay active, im into running ,football ( the soccer version lol ) and a good stroll by the beach / parks. Do feel free to send me a message. Take care and stay blessed x ^.^
Hey there, I am looking for a clean place to stay where I can spend my downtime hanging out mainly in my room. I am happy and would be glad to socialise & hang out with you too. I am a fairly clean and adaptive person, I cook for myself most of the time and work in hospitality so I know the importance of keeping everything clean. Fast internet speeds are important to me as I spend most of my time on the web and am somewhat of an avid gamer. If possible, I would like an estimate of internet speeds or if that is not possible I would like to test speeds during ibspection. I can tend to be a little loud during the night but I'm happy to adapt and keep myself quieter during these times or even change up my sleep schedule some. Thank you for reading!
Hey! I'm an industrial engineer studying English, respectful and responsible person, non smoker, very clean, easy going, I like cooking for my housemates sometimes, sharing outside with my friends. It´s very important for me the tranquility to study, a quiet place. I study on Monday to Thursday at 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and I work on weekdays at the night, and I usually work on the weekends as well.
Hi!, I am originally from Lithuania, here in Melbourne for work, have a contract for 2 yrs with Monash Uni which started this January. Likely will extend it a year or two longer, although a change to an industry job is possible at the end of the term. Finished phd in physics in Chicago last year, lived in the US ~15yrs, now postdoctoral researcher at Monash in nanomaterials' properties. After work i go to gym few times a week, practice tennis, or taking a stroll along the beach, getting together for a beer/dinner with colleagues, seeing places/meeting new people when possible. Currently live in Oakleigh on Airbnb which was alright for a start, but a bit too far from a more livelier environment i'm used to. Tidy, sociable, lived with roommates before. Let me know if can provide you any other info. ~ 3-12 months lease would suit, car parking needed &; move in date - as soon as available but fairly flexible. Cheers, -Tadas
I'm an student/part-time worker looking for adventure. I come from a small city/large town on an island called Victoria. Not Victoria, Australia but Victoria, Canada. I clean up after myself, I wash my own dishes, hell I'll even vacuum and clean the washrooms if I have time because I kinda like doing that stuff. I'm looking to room for at least 4 months in Melbourne. I have 6ish years restaurant experience at 3 different places, and all the stupid drunk stories I can't remember until I get drunk and remember said stupid stories. Cheers, heres to good times.
I'm a very quiet & very responsible mature aged Australian male working part time. I was born & bred in Melbourne & I am a healthy conscious & clean person. I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't take drugs & I don't party. I love to read, listening to music & going for rides on my mountain bike. I like to live independently so I'm hardly noticeable. I don't have pets or children. What I'm after is a clean house with quiet responsible tenant/s & a good sized bedroom hopefully with my own bathroom & toilet. I do have my own vehicle & I would require somewhere to park my car. I'm ready to move in pretty much immediately as I'm currently living with two female students who are returning back to China very soon. I'm open for 6 months or longer term somewhere around the south eastern to eastern suburbs. I have all my own bedroom furniture & I have references from Estate Agents & also from the female tenants I'm currently sharing a house with.
My name is Courtney and I’m 25 years old, I study a full time Bachelor’s degree via correspondence and i’m making the move to Melbourne in February 2018 to study on campus. I currently work full time in administration and have been working in the same position for 3 years. I’m an easy going person and I respect people’s space within a shared house, I’m tidy and will always pull my weight around the house. I enjoy quiet time and love to watch Netflix but at the same time I can be quiet sociable and enjoy weekend brunches and coffee, I also have a love for cooking vegetarian cuisine, listening to music and attending live gigs. I’m not looking to live in a party house but at the same times I don’t mind the occasional drink on weekends and going out. Looking for someone who shares similar interests to myself. Please feel free to message me if you have a room available anytime in February 2018 and you think we would be a good fit 😊
Hey there! I'm from middle of nowhere Inverloch in South Gippsland, and have always lived on the coast. I'm looking for somewhere to live during my first year of University at Monash Caulfield. I need somewhere walking distance to public transport as I cannot drive (which on one note means I won't need space to park). I'll be studying Fine Arts and have a huge interest in the Arts, history and a bunch of other things. I'm vegetarian (but don't mind being around meat and whatnot) and can make a pretty good green curry if you're into that, I also tend to overestimate how much food/smoothie i'm gonna need so I'll probably offer you food pretty regularly. I like pretty much all kinds of music and am always ready to dance, but am also pretty quiet and spend a lot of time in my room in silence so if you're needing quiet to study I'm good in terms of that. I can tell you useless facts about things you didn't need and teach you how to kick butt (i'm only a red belt in Taekwondo but I still like to pretend i'm badass). I love British comedy, David Bowie, bad puns, art galleries and the colour yellow. I also don't smoke or have any pets, but don't mind being around those who do smoke, and adore pets! I'm currently working in an ice cream shop part-time and will likely be working part time for the duration of my stay.
