Hi everyone , I'm looking for a place to call home for at least the next 6 months if not longer! I'm 21, I love make up, a quiet night in or a night out but I’m often working or studying. I am a very relaxed tidy person who is social loves to socialise but also loves some down time relaxing or watching a movie. I do have a car so I would need some sort of parking. I'm happy to share or cook my own food would love to sit down catch up and have a meal with each other ever now and again. I also loving going out for brunch, lunch or dinner and exploring what Melbourne has to offer. I work at a nightclub every Saturday night and Mecca throughout the week and on the weekend then studying between times 😄 Please no cats (I'm allergic) but I'm fine dogs and love them! I am looking for a private room something that is close to public transport as I travel into the city for uni. I have a queen bed and a desk and a few other items if needed otherwise they can stay in storage. My dad is also a removalist so handy for the move! 😊 Message me if you have something that will suit, would love to come and have a look at your available room and meet you! 😊
So I'm Sam, a 22 year old male that is looking for a new place to stay. I was living in Brunswick East in an amazing 3-story house for about a year, but due to a weird dynamic I decided to leave pronto. I work at Crown Casino as a dealer which is great fun as a job. Typically I either finish work at 2am or 6pm, depending on whether I am on day or night cycle. I'm used to it, won't be a bother to other housemates as after night shift I'm straight off to catch some zzz's. I also study fulltime law and business, but think I am going to drop out of that and do a certificate in real estate in the coming weeks to try my hand at being a realtor! Other than that I'm just interested in finding a house with flatmates where everyone feels comfortable with each other, all around similar ages and interested in similar things to make home life fun! I've had a few instances of living with lovely people but having nothing in common with them, and it's not a great feeling when you feel like you are in a home full of strangers! I love my sport, especially footy. I'm getting into gym more and more, starting to do yoga and trying to broaden my horizons in life! I have been living out of home since I was 18 which includes a few different sharehouses, some amazing, some not so great. But never the less, I've had plenty of experience in sharehousing and would love my next experience to be my best experience!
Hi there, My name is Mahela and I am a part-time employee and full-time naturopathy student. I'm in search of a private room that is walking distance from any station on the Frankston line between Mentone and Armadale. I work 2-4 days a week and do the majority of my study on weekends, usually from home or at a public library. When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy exercising, cooking, reading and watching films. I'm responsible and always clean up after myself, follow house rules and pay my bills on time, if not early.
We are just moving into a new place and we are looking for someone to rent the spare room from March til June so 4mths maybe can be July to! We can discuss exact dates. Room is $300 a week, fully furnished with super comfy queensize bed and your own tv! More details to come after we are properly moved in!
Hi, I am Ren. My maximum budget is $730 per month including bills (if your house doesn't include bills, it's okay but please keep in mind I can't go over this amount as I am on Newstart). I'm looking for a friendly household with easy access to public transport. I'm social but also quite shy, so I'm happy to do my own thing or hang out with others. I'm going to be studying a Master of Social Work at Monash Caulfield next year. I'm really new to Melbourne, but not new to sharehousing. I lived in Brisbane for nearly 8 years and came here for the weather and a fresh start. In my spare time I enjoy making stuff with yarn, playing video games, or relaxing with Netflix. My favourite shows are BoJack Horseman, Star Trek Next Gen, Star Gate SG1, and the Good Place. I have chronic health conditions, so although I am house trained I would appreciate a house with a more relaxed atmosphere rather than one with a roster. I have asthma, so I need a smoke free home :) Oh, and I'm not vegan or vegetarian, sorry.
Looking to move around mid February. Open to team ups if you want to move into an entirely new place. I just completed my degree in Monash and will be studying cookery in William Angliss starting February, I currently work in a nail salon. I will be working on days that I do not have classes, so will only be home in the evening for the most part. I am also usually out of the house somewhat early in the morning. I am very very clean and tidy, and looking to live with people that are as well. I spend most of my time watching YouTube videos, generally keep to myself when needed. I have a lot of hobbies, which come with a lot of stuff as well, so I'm hoping to find a place that has enough space to accommodate for all of it.
I have a stupid sense of humour and can see the ironic side of life. I've been known to navigate a dishwasher and there have been verified sightings of me with a broom in hand. I can regale you with tales of how 90's music was better and come with an assortment of old, weird movies that I would love to watch with you in awed silence. I'm also a proud leftie and greens voter. I would like to not just live with housemates but as part of a family. Can anybody help me ? Open to different areas and prices.
Hello! We're a pretty relaxed couple with a super friendly golden retriever. We're both working (I'm a physio and Al's a consultant) but work isn't our whole lives. We're hoping to be the kind of housemates you like grabbing a drink or sharing a meal with from time to time. In our spare time we like to head down to the coast, catch up with family and friends, and have mini-adventures. Neither of us are raging party animals and we're all house-trained (the dog included) so we pick up after ourselves and know how to clean to a 'my-folks-might-pop-in-for-a-cup-of-tea' standard.
I am a fun loving, down to earth, gentleman who is looking for a new place to stay with positive people and good vibes. I get along really well with almost everyone I encounter and enjoy a good conversation, when the time is right. i usually work and also go to gym on average about 5 days a week. when i am home i spend most of my time sleeping or watching films. (alone in my own room, however i do like to watch some series with some people fanatically). An ideal house for me will have some space with sunlight and a good energy where i can practice yoga or meditate. I make a great housemate as I am very considerate, hygienic, clean (but not ocd), easy going and lighthearted. one of my best attributes would be that I am a deep sleeper, so you do not need to worry about tip toeing around me. i usually prefer to drink tea but do enjoy the occasional glass of red wine with my housemates. please only contact me if you have a space in the suburbs or neighbouring suburbs that i selected. thank you :) Josh
Hi my name is Chloe, I’m 24, I’m currently half way through my social work degree at RMIT. I have a dog named Matilda who is 2 and an indoor cat named Effy who is 3. I like to keep active or just chill out reading or watching Netflix. I’m a clean person who is respectful of other people’s space but also always down for making dinner together or having a wine at the end of the day. I have a fridge if need be and all of the stuff that would fill a kitchen. I would need an unfurnished room preferably.
Hi there! I'm a 26 year old on the path of becoming a pastry chef. I'm a voracious reader, an avid movie watcher, passionate TV show follower and a good cook. I'm looking for a short term stay as I have a few months left on my course. I prefer moving in with female flatmates but seeing as I lived in a mixed student housing for a year, I don't mind moving in a mixed house. I clean up after myself and respect personal space and privacy. If I look like someone who would fit in with you, feel free to message me! Cheers! Rashmi
I love a chat and a glass of wine every now and than but usually in pretty quiet go on my business as i respect other people's personal space and like my own . I would like a safe place with friendly housemate and free of cats ( sorry) alergy and a house free smoke and drug free house. Thanks.
I'm tidy and organized, and love getting to know new people. I also respect the space and privacy of others. You can be rest assured that I will keep to myself if need be, and open up to share my experiences if welcome to. Some of my interests include dancing, board games, video games, and keeping up with my fitness at the gym.
Hey! I'm Tasha, I'm 20 and am just about to graduate from my Bachelor of Public Relations so would love a bit of a change (and also want to be closer to my PR job). I'm super into travelling and health and fitness, and am a huge foodie so will definitely not turn down a brunch offer. I love spending time with other people but also love my alone time every now and then. I'm respectful, clean and will also happily do the household grocery shop every week (I literally LOVE food shopping). Looking for a new place with some fun gal pals, so message me if you're interested!
I'm a Pakistani boy, just graduated from Monash University, looking for a nice and neat place to live. Working full time now.
My name is Cherie and I consider myself to be easy-going, friendly, tidy and respectful. On Monday to Friday, I work as a programmer. I am looking for a quiet place; I'm not a party person. :)
Hey there! I spend most of my days as an Account Manager in Social Media Advertising. In my spare time, I love exploring new eateries and bars. I also enjoy reading and writing, heading to the gym and a yoga sesh. And I'll never turn down a chilled night in with Netflix, some wine and UberEats! I moved to Melbourne from Perth about 18 months ago and am interested in finding a nice, tidy and functional place to call home for this next chapter! I'd prefer to find a place with a couple of female housemates and somewhere where there's street parking for my car.
Hello! I’m Maie (May) and I'm looking to move into a new share house with some fun, ambitious, outgoing and like minded people. I'm fun, outgoing, organised and tidy, and extremely punctual with rent and bills. I'm a professional working a fine dining restaurant in Docklands, with a psychology and criminology degree. As well as owning my own cheesecake business! Which means a lifetime supply of cheesecakes for my lucky housemates! I love to travel, meet new people and am extremely ambitious and highly motivated. I enjoy a mixed lifestyle of both quite nights in conversing over red wine and house cooked meal as well socialising with friends over breakfast and dinners! Being an extremely laid back chilled person there is not much that ever brothers me making me quite the housemate!
Hi Future Flatmate(s)! I am looking for a fun, friendly and functional space I have recently moved to Melbourne for work, I currently work full time at the Department of Treasury and Finance which means I will be gone all day every weekday and am usually out and about on the weekends I am quiet, respectful as well as friendly and social. I love animals, dogs especially, and will more than happily take care of and love your furry friend. I had to leave my fur baby at home in Darwin. :( I spend most of my free time reading, painting, and adventuring to the nearest pet store to swoon at furry babies. You may find me playing around (pretending I know what I'm doing) on my uke, if this is an annoyance, just tell me to shh! I am hoping that this will be an opportunity to get to know Melbourne better, make some friends (I left them all behind) and have a safe and comfortable place to call home, I am quiet and respectful of space but will not hesitate to cook a big dinner for everyone (in fact I would love to) and enjoy some drinks and chatter over dinner in the evenings after work. I do sometimes have a friend or two visit from my home town who will occasionally crash with me. (Very rare, flights are $$$!) I hope this will not be an issue as my friends are incredibly important to me. Looking to move in asap!
Currently working 6 days a week between 2 jobs, so I won't be home a lot, just to sleep. When I am home will always be up for a drink or a chat. In my free time I do archery, go to the gym or play some video games. A gym buddy would be cool too
Looking to move to the bayside/ South eastern suburbs as I'm starting a new job there. Initially six month contract but likely to be extended. Originally from western suburbs but recently returned from living in the UK. Looking for a place where I can share with people I'll get along with- happy to give people space but would love people who enjoy the odd wine, pub outing on the weekend, netflix, etc
