My name is Melissa and I'm 19 moving to adelaide to study the Bachelor of Vet Bioscience/Doctor of Vet Medicine and I'm looking for a place to rent out a room. I am hardworking, social, love animals and involved in a lot of volunteer work.
Friendly and polite girl. Very clean and tidy. Non smoker and does not have children or pets. I am looking for a private bedroom in an existing shared house (preferably with own bathroom) in any suburb near University of Adelaide. I would like to live in a quiet house in order to be able to study and sleep. I will be studying (full-time) and working (par-time) at the same time. So I would be out of the house most of the time.
I don't really know how to describe myself, so here it goes. I'm 24, a uni student studying creative arts. I'm a non smoker and I very rarely drink. I mostly keep to myself. At the moment, most of my time is spent studying and during some free time, I enjoy playing games and watching series on netflix.
Hello, My name is Belinda, I'm 22 and a music teacher at a school in the city. I'm laid back and easy to get along with. I love to chill out at home or at cafes with friends. I enjoy quality banter and having a laugh. I am a dog person - cats don't seem to like me much. I love vintage collectables and shopping at op shops. I am easy to live with, very clean and tidy and I enjoy cooking - I'm also a vegetarian. I have a Netflix account and an abundance of tea from T2 which I am more than happy to share! I'm wanting to live about 10 minutes from the city with similar aged people. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions :)
Greetings! So I’ve just finished a Bachelor of Software Engineering at UniSA and am looking to move out. I’ve been offered a PhD but have deferred it to the end of the year as I’m working on some of my own projects at the moment, as well as applying for the Royal Military College. I’ll be working casually at UniSA as a researcher and am financially secure. I’m a pretty non-dramatic person and will happily compromise and calmly discuss any issues to find solutions. I like to be hygienic and organised, but am not pedantic about it. I’m introspective but outgoing and hence conscientious of others; socially progressive but non-confrontational, so accepting of other viewpoints. I enjoy time alone to recharge, and understand when others need that too; always up for chats about interesting topics though! At heart I'm a geek who loves puzzles and over-analysing books and films, and I train in martial arts. While it’s always fun to meet new people, if you’re just looking for someone to split the rent with who won’t bother you, I can be that person. Short version: Looking for the perfect housemate? Choose dis guy! *Thumbs pointed at self* :)
Introverted academic type looking for like minded ladies to share with. I'm a recent law grad working on a not-for-profit project that probably won't pay me, so I'm dole bludging in the meantime. I'm respectful, tidy, and a half decent cook. Bonus points for: -big old Adelaide houses -Prospect area -dog friendliness (for my theoretical future Frenchy) -board games collections -backyard chooks -pescetarian/vego friendly -postgrads or exhange students -mostly alcohol free (420 ok) I'm queer, poly, and basically a communist, so if you're especially conservative then we might not get along unless you reeeeally like debating.
Pretty nice guys. Love wine and handy at table tennis.
I am 50, single, young for my age (in my opinion!), and I work full time in retail at Kilburn. I'm quietly spoken and responsible, but enjoy socialising and I have a slightly quirky sense of humour. Some of my interests include walking, cycling, reading, eating out, going to the cinema, and road trips. I'm an active participant in Meetups. I can be flexible with the move date for the right property. Ideally I am seeking a place which is both close to my work, and near to or in the city. I have ten years' experience in share house living.
Cool Calm Considerate Studious (full-time student) Relatively tidy
Hello ! We are couple coming from San Francisco and Paris. I (Ethel) will be studying in Swinburne University and Kimo will be working. We will be in Australia for around 6 months. We are familiar with Australia as we were both living in Sydney but we are new to Melbourne. We want to make the most of Melbourne and ideally want to find flatmates who we can enjoy with and not just live in the same place. We are clean and tidy and lots of fun on the evening and week-ends but we also like to chill. We enjoy seeing live music, travelling, Kimo likes to cook and we are respectful of the place. Now let's answer the question in everybody's mind : we do not fight :), we've been together for 3 years and we are not one of those annoying couples, we are fun to be around together of separately.
Clean and well presented. Friendly and easy to talk to. Have a love hate relationship with gym and ice cream. Also like a balance of being social but enjoying my own company. Don't trust anyone who don't eat sushi ❌ Play a bitta PS4, and enjoy doing outdoor activities but usually my social heavily depends on my bank account.
Laid back guy looking to move closer to work. I like to keep things as light as possible, and am always in good spirits but I also appreciate and respect personal space. I can cook, and like to keep things neat and tidy. In my free time I generally watch movies, read comics and books and play video games. I work full-time as a Software Engineer and am always happy to help out.
Friendly, easy-going, quiet and chilled but also usually down for socialising. Work as a full-time bartender :) love dogs (allergic to cats...)! Clean and considerate. Looking for 6 months+
Hi all, my name is Kaitlin and I am 19 years old. I have recently completed my diploma and am currently working in retail until I gain employment in my field of choice. I'm looking forward to moving out of my parents home and gaining some more independence. I believe I'm easy to get a long with but I also respect personal space. I'll make sure rent is paid on time and I pull my weight when it comes to housework. I also don't mind a sneaky drink or two 💃🏻 Look forward to hearing from you 😁
Hey there, I am Urja from India, I am a very friendly, a kind person and specially a clean and a responsible person. I would be studying at The University of South Australia. I am looking forward to stay with clean and friendly people. Hope to see you soon! :)
I am very friendly, fun and most importantly clean and very tidy. I work Monday-Friday on a rotating roster on the afternoon shift at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Thebarton so I am looking for a place nearby work, I also work saturday nights at a club and generally go out during the day on weekends. I also have a young child that will be staying with me during weekends but as I said before we would barely be home on weekends. I enjoy food very much and eat out more often than I should. I also enjoy cooking and trying new meals. I keep to myself and do my own thing, I enjoy my private space and will not annoy anyone. I also have a car and motorbike so will require 1 space off street parking ( my car and bike usually fit in one space) I would prefer only one other person in a share but definately no more than two other people.
I'm currently in the final stage of my Master's degree with a full-time job in hospitality. I'm clean, easy going and friendly and prefer to stay in and catch up with friends and house mates over movies or a couple of drinks on my days off. Although I have a fairly busy work schedule, I don't mind having an occasional night out. Looking to find a place starting March.
Planning to relocate to Adelaide. Quiet, clean and easy going, enjoys the outdoors. Respect every religion and gender orientation. Not exactly a neat person, but you will not find my socks lying around the house. A simple kitchen or kitchenette suffice as I may cook simple meals occasionally.
I'm clean, responsible, fun and Scottish :) Moving to Adelaide in February 2017 (still in UK at present) for a new job at one of the universities. Hoping to find a flatshare for a few months, in an area close to brunch haunts and bars for weekend frequenting :) I'm looking to share with someone 25-40, friendly, who can have a giggle, is tidy and clean, and can maybe even help me get to know Adelaide! I'll have my partner moving out from Scotland in April 2017 so if he could stay for a few months too, then you're the perfect roomie! If you can cook I will pay in prosecco ;)
My and my pooch are looking for a room for a short term stay to start. Looking for intercity only preferably on the north/Western sides of the city. I'm fairly quiet, go out occasionally or gigging on weekends. Looking for a place that is going to be a home and a place to relax and unwind but also social and have weekly dinner or wine catch ups one or twice a week. I Work in the music industry.
Hi there! I'm Luke, 22 years old, and I'm looking for a share house! Length of stay is flexible, but would prefer to stay long term. I'm currently looking for work but can pay up to $220 per week for rent. I'm easy to get along with, social, respect privacy and like to talk about life, the universe, etc. I have a well behaved maltese-terrier called Cooper. I enjoy writing, composing, music, nature, cycling and just generally hanging with friends. I'm straight edge, don't smoke or drink, but don't mind if you do. Feel free to contact me! Hope to hear from you!
I am a student, currently in the final year. I could not live with most pets and smokers. I am not into noises but sometimes will invite few people for dinner. For the house, separate bathroom is preferred, however shared is mostly okay.
Hi, my name is Bibianne and I'm 20 years old :) I'm from the Netherlands and I'm studying tourism. I will stay for 6 months in Adelaide for my internship and I'm looking for a furnished room. I'm an easy going person who is tidy and clean. Besides that, do I respect someone's privacy & I like to socialize.
Hi, My name is Rosa, I am a 21yo student at Adelaide Uni studying Medical Science. I also work part time and am looking for a safe and comfortable share house with like minded people, preferably females around my age. I am friendly, a little quiet until i warm up to people. I am very focused on my studies but am happy to socialise when the occasion calls for it! I am looking for a furnished room around the Brompton area as this is where I work. If you have any questions please feel free to get in touch, I look forward to hearing from you, Rosa
I'm very clean, love to cook and entertain, calm relaxed and very easy to get along with. As I study and work I'm a quiet no intrusive housemate waiting to be the resident chef
My current two housemates are off to Sydney so I am seeking a room in a existing share house or to team up with someone to find our own place. For over three years I have lived in share houses so I am pretty well trained, my current housemates can vouch for this. Ideally I would like my own private bathroom - 'treat yo'self.' About me: I work full time in communications and tend to keep myself busy in my free time by spending time with family and friends, exercising, going to the footy during the winter months and hanging at the beach during summer. I enjoy taking advantage of the great wineries we have at our doorstep, going for a few drinks and a delicious meal. I am a pretty easy going housemate. I clean up after myself, enjoy keeping the place tidy but I am not one for cleaning rosters. I spend a lot of time out of the house but would ideally like a housemate that I can enjoy a glass of wine and hold a conversation with, however I also respect alone time, we all need it! I also believe in sharing staple items like condiments, spices, milk etc... If I sound like someone you could bare living with, please feel free to contact me with any of your questions.
I am sociable, friendly and respectful. I work 4 days a week and like to get out and about on the weekend, though need my down time at home too. Travelling is my passion. I also enjoy bushwalking, gardening, reading, music and yoga. I'm keen to find somewhere that's within a half an hour walk of the city, have my own bathroom and a spot to park my car. Ideally I would like to share with 1 or perhaps 2 other people who are a similar age to me and don't mind a chat over a drink or 2 :) Please don't contact me if your place is not within walking distance of the city. Thanks!
Hello :) I'm Alyce! I'm a 24 year old female from Adelaide who is very friendly, social and enjoys being able to have a good laugh. I'm also very respectful and understand the importance of privacy, personal space and down time. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy playing basketball, exercising, and being in the company of friends. I work part time as a Receptionist and I'm a full time student, studying Primary Education. Anything else you'd like to know, please feel free to ask :)
Hi all, My name's Jack and I'm currently studying at the University of Adelaide and working part time. I'm friendly, respectful, and clean, whilst enjoying being a social and also having my own space to retreat to. In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends, play board games, read, watch movies, cook, and build projects. Currently, I am on a study tour over in Europe, and will be unable to sign rent agreements. I am strictly able to move in on the 19th of Feb or before, but would accept tenancy before then. I am more than happy to help organise team accomodation for people without a current room to rent. As far as skills go, I'm good at fixing things, cooking, and cleaning, always willing to lend a hand. Thanks for your help, Jack
ahoy lads . I am a software development student and a gaming freak so m always behind tech stuff . I also enjoy outings and drinks and movies too , Looking for a room by 31st Jan
I am having a busy life in last year of my PhD. I would like to enjoy my spare time doing some physical activities like playing soccer or tennis. I am a quite and clean guy that enjoy nice chat with housemates as well.
Hey, I'm a 3rd year product design student, and i've been in Adelaide the last few years. Pretty social, but enjoy my own space every now and then. I've been living in shared accommodation for the last few years, and am quite considerate. I'm also a musician, but i tend to know when to keep it down. Would like to be within walking/bike distance to UniSA City west campus. Also looking for somewhere with Flexible/Unfurnished
I'm Steph and I'm moving to Adelaide for a job in the Arts & Festivals realm. I'm originally from New Zealand but have been living and working in Sydney since 2012. I am looking forward to finding the rad bits in Radelaide, and hopefully a place within walking distance to the city. I'm in to going to live Arts and Music events, as well as the odd bit of sport (AFL! Such a crazy sport!) and tend to be excited by anything creative & quirky. I'm a sucker for op-shops and vintage shops,I enjoy cooking & baking when I get the chance too. I'm a very easy going flatmate who is clean and tidy and pays the bills on time.
My name is Hayley, I am a 30 yr old part time bartender looking for a room to rent for a minimum of 12 months to try and save myself some money (as I have been renting on my own for the past year - so expensive!) I am easy going, friendly, bubbly, social, love to share a beer/meal and a chat, NOT a recluse (so I don't stay in my room all the time and like to get along with my housemates). I love all the normal things in life - movies, music, hanging out with my friends, food, coffee, beer/wine, art, binge watching tv shows, quoting Seinfeld and The Simpsons regularly. I have shared plenty of times in the past so I have lots of experience in keeping common areas tidy and being respectful of people's personal space. I'm not a party animal (definitely got that out of my system a long time ago!) so don't have lots of people over and am not loud. I am very clean (read: bit of a neat freak), always pay bills on time, honest, respectful - all the good things you would want from a housemate! I do have a cat and a dog - a 6yr old cat who basically just sleeps on my bed all day or eats, and a 2yr old Kelpie x Lab who is house trained and very friendly and well behaved (does not dig, chew, scratch, bark etc etc) I am available to move any time from now so if I sound like the perfect fit for you then hit me up with a message or a text! :) Hope to find my new housemates soon!
Santi here! Am a 23yo Physio student at UniSA. Originally from Perth, have been in Adelaide for a year. Tried student accommodation but now looking for something a bit more comfortable. A bit of a quiet guy here, love catching up on the latest TV shows and teaching myself the ukulele. Definitely mindful when it comes to cleanliness, privacy and plain common sense around others.
We are a young laid back couple that both work full time. We have an adorable Chihuahua X Maltese dog named Charlie whom lives primarily outside. We are clean and do keep to ourselves a lot but would like to have a friendly relationship with housemates :)
Hi! My name is Natalya and I am from Russia. I am going to study at the University of Adelaide. My program is Master of Planning. Firstly, about location. I am looking for place, private room in shared house, when I can have space and opportunity for study. If there are bed, desk and wardrobe in the room, it is a perfect room for me!) Also for me one of the most important thing is heating and cooling system in the house. And it will be perfect, if my brother from Russia can stay in my room no more than a week!(of course with extra $). Secondly, about me. I am clean, tidy and responsible person. I was a volunteer's chief in Greece, and we helped in Wildlife hospital. All was fine!) All animals always had food and water) And territory of hospital always was clean!) So it will be OK if you have any kind of animals in the house. I really like drive! I have drive license and will be glad to help with driving if it is nessesary) Also I really like bike and swim. And long walks. I am easy going and open person, it is OK to have a little friend parties in the house, but just sometimes) Sometimes I prefer to spend time alone in my room with book or good film. Thirdly, I looking for house in any surburbs, but no more then 30-35 min to Uni by bus! So, please, don't be hesitate to contact me or write me any options and questions!
Hi there :) My name is Felicia. I am 23 years old, I study law and psychology full time and also work part time. I am friendly, laid back, like to keep active and eat well. I am very tidy and always clean up after myself and i expect the same of my house mates. Generally I keep to myself as I am busy, but I do like a good laugh and being part of the house :) I am a very considerate and respectful house mate and I really the same back. I have spent the past 3 years living in student share houses and have had some really terrible experiences :( so I believe in honesty straight up (especially about cleanliness) to avoid living with incompatible personalities and lifestyles. All in all I'm just looking for a clean, friendly and happy environment where I can study and hopefully makes some friends and great memories along the way! :)
I am a bubbly person who will no doubt make you laugh. I'm really down to earth and easy to get along with. I can have fun and be social but also be able to give space to have some personal time. I am from the country and am currently working part time at a diner. I am 21 and single. Thank you :)
Hi I'm Alice, I'm 17 years old (nearly 18). I'm looking to move back to Adelaide from Queensland to study a Bachelor of Visual Arts at UniSA. I am preferably looking for other girls around my age to share with. I'm fairly tidy and friendly. I love music, films, reading and baking. I have traveled around a bit and am excited to explore Adelaide. I'm hoping to move in before uni starts :)
I'm a 22 year old female who is looking to move out some time in Feb. I have just landed a job as a midwife and am looking to move out with 1 or 2 other females to Prospect, Brompton, Mawson Lakes, or nearby. I am a friendly person to live with and I am very clean. I am also happy to spend time watching movies in my room and keeping to myself. As a shift worker it's really important that I live with someone who is considerate and able to keep relatively quiet if I'm asleep (I will do the same for you of course!). I have shared before and am very reliable, looking for someone who is also reliable and has a stable income. I'm allergic to cats so I can't live anywhere a cat will be indoors. I enjoy activities like playing sport, going to the beach, or chilling out at home. If you think I would be suited feel free to message me :)
A well mature guy who respect privacy of others. I am focused, yet friendly with an open mind. Could mesh very well with those who are respectable, and value the quality of life. Like to share and have sense of humour. Like to study and find ways to progress in life. I pay attention to detail particularly on things that matters to me, and would not mind going out for one or two drinks and fun.
Hey I am a busy student and part time worker and when I am not studying/working I am at the gym, doing muay thai, reading, playing guitar, learning spanish, eating or bombing out on the couch. I am pretty independent and mellow and am not looking for a party house.. Would be keen to live with chilled out and friendly housemates that are clean and respectful. I don't mind a beer and banter every now and then.. I love smashing the beach in summer and intend to be there often so if you are west side that is a plus. I'm after a fairly large room as I'll need a study space. Cheers amigos
My name's Simon, I'm 27 and work in IT in the CBD. I'm a somewhat active guy (gym/kickboxing), into cars and PC gaming. Generally pretty private, but have zero issues being sociable (perhaps over a beer or wine) :). I tend to bulk make my weekly meals on a Sunday/Monday if that matters (cleanup included). I've lived by myself for the last few years and am over dropping boatloads of money on it. I'm pretty cruisy, tidy, and approachable; definitely one to pull my weight to make things work. I have most furnishings needed if required (only thing missing is a drier). No issue with pets, and while I don't have one myself, I'd love to get a dog in the near future (please chat to me about this if an issue!). My car is also currently my most prized possession (typical!), so I can't do street or overly visible parking :(. Feel free to message me if you want to know more!
I am very social and easy going. I enjoy meeting new people and travelling! Always up for a laugh and good food/fun with mates, but I also know how to respect other people's space :) Currently working full time until returning to my degree at Adelaide Univeristy.
I'm clean, organised, reliable and always out and about. I can be a bit quiet when I first meet people, but when I get comfortable I'm a pretty relaxed and decent guy to hang around with. Currently a postgraduate working on my PhD with UniSA and SA Pathology. Due to my work and hobbies I am looking for a place closer to the CBD.
My priority is my dogs! I MUST find a place for these two beautiful and friendly kids of mine. This is the rest. I'm 45 apparently! Very easy going social guy. Mature and responsible, yet young at heart. Always willing to help and accommodate where possible. I'm currently on a disability pension My interests include visual arts ( painting and drawing and caft), photography, furniture restoration I'm not bad with the tools and playing handyman. I enjoy gardening and don't mind taking that responsibility. I L❤VE COOKING! Indian, Thai and Italian are my preferred cuisines. Willing to give anything a go though! ✌️ + Edit description
After spending the last 5 years in Sydney, I'm now heading down to SA to study psychology at the University of Adelaide! I'm fairly social, and love a good chat about almost anything, but respect down-time and personal space. Tidiness is important to me, and I like to pull my weight, but not overly fussy. Main hobbies include playing some music - especially Brazilian-style guitar, as well as beach and bushwalking whenever possible.
Originally from Melbourne, I moved to Adelaide to start work in a maths research job. My job keeps me busy during the week but outside of work I enjoy cycling, cooking, reading and music, particularly blues, rock and some jazz. I mostly cook stir-fries and pastas during the week but will happily experiment with anything involving chillies I'm a tidy and respectful housemate, usually fairly quiet and like to share meals with housemates and have a chat at the end of the day. I'm looking to move in with one or two other people, either a house or a flat, preferably within the city or close by. The timing is fairly flexible but I am hoping to move by mid February. Feel free to get in contact if you think we might be a good fit.
I am looking for a room available from February until June then I will be moving interstate. I am respectful, trustworthy and considerate and have full rent history. My spare time I will usually be hiking around the Adelaide hills, relaxing down the beach or in my room reading a book.
I am a night shift worker and part time dance teacher who is pretty easy going and health concious. I am pretty quiet and low key but there is always room for nice glass of wine
