We are a young brazilian couple going to Australia to study, work and have some fun. We will arrive in Australia on 10th December. First we are looking for a place to stay for a month and then if we like the place we can stay the other 5 months of our period in Australia. We are not hard party people but we like to make new friends and take some beer sometimes, we love travel and go to the beach. We are a clean and organize couple, very friendly and easy going too.
Hello, My name is Alain, full time IT professional from the Philippines. I'm quiet (almost socially inept), easy-going, and organized. I like computer games, beach-bumming, and watching movies. I'm looking to move out very soon because my lease is about to expire on the 20/10/2016. I'm looking for a place to stay where I could commute easily to Norwest Business Park as I work there currently.
I am vibrant and have a joyful personality. I work in Human Resources as a HR Manager for a government agency (just starting and leaving the construction industry) and really enjoy what I do for work. In my free time I enjoy cooking/baking, Latin dancing (teaching internationally and performing), spending time with friends, traveling the globe and trying new fun things like archery and trapeze (to name a few). I'm very sociable, but after long days in the office I can be a bit of a "grandma" and pretty much eat, shower and go straight to bed. *yawn* I don't mind chatting over a wine or two and can also appreciate when people need their space. I'm fairly clean - and my only vice would be that it may take me a day or two to put away my washing basket (which would be beside my bed in my room). I'm not one to leave dishes in the sink and I avidly clean the the house and bathroom on a weekly/fortnightly basis.
We are two friendly girls from Poland making our dreams come true by moving to Australia. We like spending time with people and thats why it is important to us to live with nice and like minded people. Iwona was working in media in Warsaw and I just moved out from London. We like traveling, discovering as much of the city as we can and all sorts of different activities therefore don't expect us to stay in too much :) Price and the location of the room is negotiable. Please feel free to ask and contact us with anything
Hi :) I work in fashion retail where I get solid 30 hour weeks. It's a stable working position and I'm happy to provide any documents you need :) I'm super chill, love a good laugh and not overly pedantic around the house. I respect all common places and keep my own living area super clean. I'd like to think I'm diplomatic about things, so you won't expect me to leave passive notes on your door haha. I also love my quiet time but NOT a hermit - I do enjoy those family vibes over Netflix and dinner. Top preference for areas would be MARRICKVILLE but I'd be happy with the suburbs below too! - Redfern - Camperdown - Glebe - Alexandria - Erskinville ** No shared rooms, sorry ** Preferably long term lease, 6 months - 1 year + (No subletting). Will consider being included in the lease if both parties are happy. Hit me up if you think I'd be a good fit, always open to meet new people! NB: Please only message me via the site or email :)
I'm chill and fun to live with. Just finished job in Singapore in October and ready to move to Australia to get myself some fresh air and beach view. This time I am on my working holiday visa unlike in Singapore were working full time. This means I have more chances to discover the city, hopefully:) I don't smoke. But I drink, eat, dance:) Prefer house with fully equipped kitchen since I love making food at home (usually party outside but if allow party at home would be nice, can make small food for ppl) To let me choose in between private room and tidy kitchen, probably go for later one. Read till here sounds like this girl is a kitchen freak:p Not to disappint you, I do have life outside kitchen. Always love meeting new friends, hanging out in the city, participating in different types of events or somewhere else together:) Yet like-minded friends gather in the house would be the best thing ever. I am quite relax even if we are different type. We will figure out a way living together :) Do message me if you have a similar item like what is written here. Cheers.
I'm a bubbly, considerate 26 year old looking for a room within 20 mins of the city. I work fairly long hours in the consulting industry and spend my free nights and weekends out and about, so won't be around the house very much, however I would love housemates I can share a nightly chat and occasional glass of wine with nonetheless! I love travelling, dancing, running, adventuring - and eating my way through Sydney!
Hi there! I'm moving from Brisbane to Sydney to start a new job. I work in Arts Adminstration and am looking for a place to call home. I am friendly, outgoing, clean, reliable and easy to get along with.
I'm 25 and work full-time as an office manager for a tech company in the CBD. I have a pretty busy schedule during the week, but I would like to be part of a 'home' rather than just a house, and enjoy catchups over wine/shared dinners here and there. I love sharing new music, discovering new bars, and long, lazy days at the beach. I consider myself pretty easy-going, but very respectful of shared spaces (and hope you are too). Also fortunate enough to have supplementary income coming in from a rental property, so you can count on me to pay rent on time. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I am from New Zealand and have moved over for a new job in Sydney. Will be working full time during the week 8-5 in business development. I am an easy going guy who loves meeting new people enjoying a bit of banter and sharing stories. In my spare time I love sports, weather it be watching or playing sports. Also a very social person so also don't mind unwinding and going out for a few drinks. Looking for a place that is ideally close to a train station so its easy to get to the CBD. Flick me a message if you have a room available. I am also very interested in teaming up with other people and starting a new flat share. So feel free to drop me a message if you are interested. I look forward to hearing from you.
My name is Natalie, I'm moving to Sydney from Adelaide to work full time and to start a masters course in human rights at the University of Sydney. I would be a reliable, considerate and clean housemate as well as friendly and independent.
Hello! My favourite past times would be spending quality time with my close friends and my family, writing, exploring nature and going for runs and just chilling in my own company. I'm laid back, friendly, easy-going, considerate, clean, and a generally all-round happy person. I am currently working full-time at a health food store/cafe. I'm looking to be around some like-minded people who are also laid back, friendly and respectful!
Hi there, my Name is Bronte (I'm the chicka on the right) and I'm currently studying Media and Communcations at USYD full time. I'm currently on the hunt for a private room to rent long-term, as I've still got at least two years of study left! I've been sharehousing for 2 years now so I know what it's about and how to be courteous of peoples' space. I'm clean and tidy, respectful, sociable, super easy to live with! I love cooking so happy to bring meals to the table. When I'm not studying, I enjoy hanging out and having the occasional glass of wine. I can crack the occasional joke and have a stable source of money for rent so I would say I'm good value :)
I like to think of myself as respectful, helpful, friendly & easy going.
Hello, my name is Elena and I'm from Germany. I'm 18 years old and I graduated a few months ago and now I'm looking for a room in Bondi for about 3 months beginning at the 12th of January. I have a working holiday visum and want to explore Sydney and it's facets. I am a really open, communicative and easy person who loves to experience the life of sydney.
Hi, mi name is Norma post-student in my late twenties. My routine usually is weedays at Uni but during evening always up for a chat to relax and get ready for the next day. I like to spend my weekends away from the weekly routine, random nothing crazy. I have been living DownUnder since Feb and I have been in different shared places I am absolutely aware of the meaning "clean up after yourself ". I am looking for "The right place" somewhere I can call Home with fun ppl ready to be friends and who are up for a beer from time to time. I am also a respectful human being when privacy is needed. I am available to move late November or early December and willing to commit for long term. Let me know if you are interested!
Hi guys! one Spaniard and one Australian looking for accomodation nearby the city within the inner eastern suburbs. Hit us up if you're looking for two room mates!
I'm super chilled, social introvert. If I am cleaning and your things are there I generally will just do it as well, no point in sweating the small stuff on whats your dirty cup and what is mine. I work in IT, love to travel, eat and cook. When I am cooking I cook in large portions so will definitely have something to share. Looking for the right home, long term.
Hey Hey, Looking for a great place to kick back and soak up the atmosphere of one of the innerwest or beachside suburbs. I am an enviro engineer working in Sydney and keep pretty active with Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball and cycling when I can. I also enjoy the odd cook up at home with a beer or wine, strum the guitar when I remember to and can definitely get sucked into a good tv series or weekly trivia. I'm keen for somewhere central as I commute a little for work to Parramatta and some other treatment plant sites. I'm clean, tidy and respectful and like to look after the place I live. Cheers Paul
Hi flatmates! I'm a easy going, friendly and funny person who is disposed to help anyone, I have an open mind and I love to meet new people from different country, to know about all the cultures. I love the nature, pets, music, netflix, nightlife, drink, eat and speak about anything! I can share some knowledge about computer's technology, teach a little about the Portuguese language, show the best side of culture from my country (Brazil), telling so many funny stories, besides tips about the best places to know in South America.... And of course, I can share and help with anything that comes up! After to meet all of South America, in November I will be in Sydney to study English for 6 months, and looking for a temporary job... PS. Organization, cleanliness and tidiness are essential things when you share a place with someone , don't worry , you can expect it from me. By the way, my english is not so good, that's why I will study it. Tell me if you know about somethig :) Um abraço! Gabriel Demasi
Hi! Im from Tasmania, study natural medicine and work as a barista! I am clean and super fun :) I live an active lifestyle but also enjoy a good time and making new friends! looking to find a place to really feel at home and live a good lifestyle.
Friendly, outgoing person from Estonia. Keep everything clean and tidy. I am a total foodie, enjoy cooking and baking quite often, lucky future flatmates..:) On my spare time I love to meet new people, go out for a drink. I love sports, dancing, hiking and a lot more. Traveling here with WHV, but I am planning to stay in Sydney for a longer period of time. Have had such an adventurous half a year in Australia so far. First 2 months in Sydney and last 4 months doing my farm work in the outback. Hopefully more fun times are only ahead! Currently working in Macquarie University in the Vice-Chancellor’s office. Looking for a home (private room only) from the 25th of October, maximum budget is 330AUD, bills included. Preferably in Bondi, but anything near Bondi is also nice, additionally consider Waterloo area, Double Bay and surroundings, North Sydney. I also have a car, which is why parking space is highly regarded either on the street or off-street parking. If it sounds like you would have anything to offer which matches to my profile, please do not hesitate to contact! I look forward to hearing from you!! Thanks! :)
Hi!! I am a 23 year old Perth girl looking for a place to move into around mid December 2016 as I have just accepted a job over here in Sydney. I have lived in shared houses before - I am very tidy, respectful and friendly. I enjoy a drink on weekends and love being outdoors.
Top Reasons why I should be your housemate: - I'm a pome. - I've been at this traveling game for a long while, I left England in March 2015. - I've spent over 10months in Australia already split between Cairns, Perth and Melbourne. - I work hard in the week as a removalist normally out the house from 6am-5pm so won't be making the place untidy during the day. - To unwind after work I hit the gym then enjoy a little relaxing. - Over the weekend in the day if the sun is shining I'll be by the beach topping up my tan, kicking back to some music, or just simply having a beer and a barbie. - At night I'm pretty relaxed, I'm not your typical non-stop drinking pome. I'm up for the occasional night out or chilled few drinks with good company. I like going to music/live events and festivals etc.. Going out to the movies and having dinner. I also enjoy staying in, cooking and chilling; I'm pretty laid back and easy with anything. I'm currently staying a ten minute walk from Central train station. I recently flew into Sydney (12th October) for my second year holiday working and unpacking my bags and calling Sydney home till at least May 2017. As stated earlier I already have a job and working full time so paying the rent will be a piece of cake. Ideally I'm after a houseshare with a chilled set of people who I can just hang out with after work, chill together some weekends and have a good time and call it home. Looking to move in ASAP. Thank you.
Hey Guys, A well travelled Aussie born Asian, Im a professional who works normal business hours in the city. Clean, respectful and tidy, im a non smoker who respects personal space but also can offer a great ear or company for those who want to social. I pitch in as a team around the house but I also enjoy mountain biking, good food, gym, travelling and socials. Im quite handy fixing things or building ikea, even having a crack with the kitchen tools to create a delicious meal. You may be getting your monies worth here! Looking for like minded individuals. Not in a hurry to move but looking for the right place/people as I'd like to be friends with my housemates and be able to feel at home and comfortable when walking through the door.
I'm 27 yo french guy who just arrived in Sydney :) I am really easy going, friendly, sociable, repectful and clean. I enjoy sports, listening to good music, watching movies, travelling (and a lot of other stuff :)) I'm looking for a place with funny and clean people.
Hi there, I'm Vash. I have recently moved to Sydney from Melbourne as part of work. I have lived in Melbourne since I was born but have come here just this week. I'm very clean and I do not smoke. I'm also pretty quiet during the week, and very respectful of your privacy. But I am also more than happy to catch up for a drink or two on the weekend! Cheers!
Hi, I'm Dasti (26) and work in finance in the city. I only moved to Sydney a couple of years ago and have only ever lived in the inner-west so I'm keen to move a bit more east. During the week, I’m usually up early to go gym early in the morning and work 9-6ish hours so I usually like to chill when I get home. However, I'm always up for a chat / terrible tv (I'm currently obsessed with Gogglebox) In the weekend, I like going for a ride or a run, engage in some healthy binge watching, or have a few drinks on Saturday night. I am a pretty clean housemate, and I'm good at respecting people's space. That being said, I believe that the only way a house becomes a home is when everyone feels comfortable around each other and are there to lend an ear if someone has a bad day. Love doing exercise, and a big part of moving to the east is being closer to the water to go swimming or biking. Oh, and I love (!!!) cooking, and can often be found doing a slow cook on a Sunday.
I'm a 24 year old French engineer looking for a private and furnished room for at least 6 monhs. I’ll be working in importation and distribution of wine and spirits in Paddington. I have just ended a flat sharing in Paris. I’m a quiet, non-smoker and easy going person. On my free time I like to practice watersports, watching series and hang out with housemates. I also want to discover Sydney! If you're interested we can schedule a visit. Vincent
Hey I'm Anna, illustrator and 3D artist from Germany, about to move to Sydney. Since I'm looking to get a full time position in Sydney, I probably won't be home a lot. I've lived in shared apartments for nearly 6 years and always liked hanging out together with a glass of wine, going out or just having a conversation but if you need your own time I will stay out of your way, sometimes I need time to myself as well. I'm looking forward to see what it's like to live in Sydney for a longer period of time and I am quite open to the place's area. A private room would be great, everything else shared is perfect though. I'm tidy, outgoing and I naturally am a very happy person. In my free time I like to draw a lot, work out, cook, enjoy Australia's nature and travel. To meet lots of new people is something I am so excited about, so if you feel like you'd enjoy living with me or if you have any questions please let me know, I'd be very pleased to hear from you!
Hey! I'm James- I work in the city during the week as a Category Manager. I'm a pretty easy going social guy- love catching up with friends, heading out for after work drinks and heading to the gym! I'm looking for roommates to be social with who don't mind the odd dinner or drink together. Looking to live with people aged around 22-35 Let me know if you have a place for me :)!
Hey everyone! I'm looking for a room in the next 4 weeks around Newtown/Enmore/Surry Hills/Redfern/Erskineville/all the trendy expensive places in Sydney. I've lived in the same apartment with the same housemates for the last 4 years in Bondi but our real estate are jerks and want to raise our already overpriced rent so this is a good opportunity to get out of the Eastern Suburbs. I'm 24 and I work full time in the city and host trivia at Newtown Hotel on Monday nights. I'm pretty social so I'm not home much during the week but when I am, it would be great to share a bottle of wine or a pizza or a couple of jagerbombs. I'm really easy going and ideally looking for something long term so I can be as happy and stress free as this cool dog. Looking to pay around $300 per week. Message me if you have something available :)
Hi I’m Cherie, 33 yrs old female working professional. I’m easy going, clean and tidy, respectful, and try to be as fit and healthy as I can. I’m sociable but not a party animal, I’m mindful of other people’s space. I tend to socialise on weekends outside the house.
I am just returning from London 3rd November where I have been given a job offer but need to go through the tedious process of obtaining an Airside pass for Heathrow. This can take 3 months or longer or be denied so I could be staying a short while or you are stuck with me forever! In the meantime I will be looking for work in Australia . I'm an easy going non smoker, cook, clean and all that boring stuff. I enjoy Jazz, fine food and come complete without baggage, well my suitcase. There will be times when I am away visiting my daughter in Port Mac, son in Coffs or my Mum in Tweed Heads.
Hey! I'm a graphic designer, looking to move somewhere inner-city / inner-west Sydney. Currently living in Canterbury, I grew up around Kogarah and have also lived out west and up north of Sydney. My lease is about to end and I want some good old fashioned change. I've lived in share houses the past few years, I keep it clean and tidy & am super chill. I can keep to myself but I also like just hanging out. I love reading, writing, travel, movies, videogames, comedy, arty stuff & a good drink! Let's make this the best sitcom ever.

Will pitch in to keep the place clean, won't have parties or blast music at weird hours :) Would like to have friends over occasionally. Happy to have a chat over dinner, watch bad TV and hang with my housemates- or if i need space will just chill out in my room. Looking for a spot in early Nov- would prefer a place close to public transport & a semi or fully furnished room as I am trying to own less stuff before I move to the UK in mid-Feb. Would prefer to buy/cook my own food. Best qualities in a roomate would be friendly, neat and relaxed. Would love no drama/nonsense roomates- prefer to be honest and upfront about any pet peeves, or let me know if there are any issues.
Hello my name is Kiran. I am looking for places close to Sydney Uni. I am moving to sydney coming year to pursue my studies at Uni. So I would be reasonably occupied during the day. I am a fun loving yoga enthusiast and a science geek who enjoys the company of others as well as loves being to myself. Looking forward to meeting new people and moving in. :)
hey I just moved down from the gold coast and looking for a places to live. Im an electrician and work monday to friday, I also enjoy training in the gym, beach and love having a few drinks
Hello potential roommate(s). My name is Taila, I am 25 and work your normal 9-5 gig in the CBD. I'm looking for a private, preferably furnished room in the Newtown(ish) area. I've rented for several years, have a squeaky clean rental history and I know how to cook/clean/pay rent on time/generally succeed at being an adult. I'm not the party type, with that said though, I'm not about to turn down a cheeky beer or glass of wine on a Friday night. I'm pretty relaxed, I'm not OCD nazi about cleanliness, but I do value a neat and tidy home. As long as everyone picks up after themselves and the duties are shared, I'm a happy customer. I'm naturally social and bubbly so I welcome the idea of having friends over, bring them, I have Cards Against Humanity, as long as courtesy and respect is there, I'm cool. I'm a pretty big music nut (Triple J for life), I think anything Ricky Gervais touches is gold, I love documentaries, Louis Theroux, binge-watching Parks and Recreation and eating delicious Asian food.
I'm a very easy going type of gal who pretty much gets along with everyone. I'm neat and tidy, I like cooking but its mostly vegetarian stuff I can and will cook meat too. I love animals and I have a lovely ginger boy cat named Toulouse (named from a disney movie "Aristocats") he is an indoor cat only! so it would be great if my furture flatemate had some experience with indoor cats.
Hola, my name is Hannah and I work in the film industry. I freelance so my job is varied with hours and location. Days I am not on-set I either work from home or get out to find a cafe to work from. I ride a motorcycle, spend time at the gym and weekends exploring with friends. I don't have a car. I've just spent the last 18months house sitting all over Sydney, and am ready to settle down into the one place for longer than just a couple weeks! I am looking for housemates who are happy in where they live and would like to share their home with another like-minded individual. People who find living in a clean home, having bills paid on time and having a good working and social life important. It's always nice to be able to hang out and have a good chat with the people you live with, but also having time to yourself is important.
Gday! I'm Tim, a 27 year old Exercise Physiologist (a fancy personal trainer) who loves playing team sports, travelling and wearing and talking about my growing collection of party shirts. I love living with other people, always good for a chat or to have casual drinks. I'm a big fan of exploring, socialising, sports, movies, being outdoors and being active, and good banter! I'm looking for a social house to be with housemates who enjoy hanging out and having a few evening beverages, not just renting a room. I'm also clean, cheerful, a non-smoker, work normal hours and am always keen for adventures. What more could you want!
Myself and James are 2 British backpackers that are now starting our second working holiday visa in Australia! We are both working full time and want to work our butts off all summer and over Christmas so that we can save lots of $$$ and continue our travels next year! We are super chilled and friendly people, always up for socialising and having a laugh. We're not massive party people but will be up for a beer after a long week for sure! Please feel free to give me a message or a call if you have anything suitable for us :) :) :)
Hey, I'm Nic and I am a 23 year old bi dude who is also domesticated! I am a non-smoker, only drink on social occasions, I am fairly self-reliant and individualistic. I can also be bit nerdy, but I also love going for a surf or playing soccer. I would love to team up with anyone in their 20's who is easy going and drama free. I am looking at moving in on either 21st or 22nd December 2016.
