Hi, I'm Nicola. Currently studying - Diploma of Costume at Ultimo TAFE, i'm creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine or a G&T and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book (SciFi is my go to - i have Asimov books i have been lugging around with me for the last 20 odd years, to get rid of them would be tandamount to sacrilege) or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going, open minded and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party (although i DO love a good costume party!), more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/Cat cuddles are the best!
- Virgin Flight Attendant training in Botany - Student Monday to Friday - Away weekends - Quiet - Clean - Reliable - Very friendly - Need a room for temporary stay for approx five weeks for training with possible long term stay if successful
I am clean, tidy, love to cook and socialise, but I mostly enjoy having my own space and spend a lot of time reading and writing. I don't have any animals with me, but am an animal lover and an ethical vegan. I don't smoke, I work full time, am from England originally but have been living in perth for the past ten years and just moved to Sydney for work. I ideally would like to live within 30 minutes of Petersham
I'm a student studying Physics at UNSW potentially looking to move places. I am quiet usually but also don't mind a good chat. I'll never leave the toilet roll empty on the dispenser - I promise you that! I clean up after myself and don't mind cleaning up after others if I'm already cleaning anyway. In my spare time I love to climb at my local climbing gym. With my stable income I pay rent on time when needed!
I'm a very friendly person. Easily make friends. I'm working with an IT firm as well as at Coles. Currently doing my MBA from MGSM. I love to travel and explore new places. Love sports, hiking, bush walking, music.
I've been travelling for the last 10 months and am now back working full time at a very busy and stable job as practice manager in St Vincent's Clinic, Darlinghurst. I'm super chill and always keen for a drink or to hang out. Definitely keen for a social house but not a party house as I need my down time after stressful days at work. I have lived in share houses or will lots of people before so definitely understand cleanliness and the need for privacy. I love getting out to the beach, live music, good banter and just generally being social. After quite a long time on the road travelling I'm used to hanging out with all different kinds of people and really want to continue that now that I'm back in Sydney. Looking for about 9 months or so (pretty flexible) as I have loose plans to travel again next year. Am ready to move ASAP!
Hi, I am Bart. I am from Poland. I study and work in Sydney. My school is in Haymarket and my office is in the city. I am looking for a single room around the city.
My name is Nathan Cox! I'm moving to Sydney for long-term work with the digital studio Animal Logic (38 Driver Ave, Moore Park) which will likely begin on the 10th of July. I'll be seeking accommodation for between 3-6 months (with a possibility of extension at the end of my contract). I'm originally from Newcastle and I have aspirations to work in the film industry. This job opportunity is the next step in my ambitions and I hope to be able to find a place to stay during this time! For my age, I'm very quiet and tolerable! I'm not the type to have 'crazy parties'. I want to be as considerate as possible towards anyone that I may be sharing a building with. I'm always up to chat with flatmates, but 95% of the time I'll be at work or hanging out quietly in my room (especially after a long day's work). My interests are pretty straight forward: watching movies, listening to music, playing video games and watching shows online. I can get along with anyone! I'm very clean and have a good (if maybe a bit dark) sense of humour. I hope to meet you and hopefully sort something out :)
I am a 30 year old working professional - I work for Lenovo as the NSW State Account Manager. Being an Account Manager a car-park or spot is a necessity. I am very social but also love my down time. Easy to live with & love to cook, listen to music and share a drink or two. I am very clean and courteous, but most of all clean up after myself. always down for a good laugh.
Hi guy. I'm backpacker called Sarah. My friend and I looking for a room (one bed). We are clean, quite and funny. Hope you can include bill, Internet and parking. At the same time want to make new friends in this house. If has some suitable house for me. Please contact me.. Thanks
Hi I'm looking for a new modern clean place to live with security and an amazing flatmate. I've been looking for a while now and would really love to find something soon. Ideally I love to team up with someone who can afford a 2 bed 2 bathroom. Id be HAPPY!!!! I currently work from home however I'm very active, loves sports & tend to travel sporadically last minute, mostly interstate. I've always had my own place so I'm looking for something big and spacious or to share. I'm an exotic mixed nationality, social, love good food and restaurants. I've travelled extensively and I consider myself extremely tidy borderline OCD at times and prefer others to be clean and hygienic. I wont bore you any longer. Please feel free to ask for more information.
looking for a homey home. i work with words & music. i have one old dog and one young dog. they are good people. the young one has just learnt to trot alongside me when i'm riding a bike. i have a lot of books. it would be nice to live with someone interesting. i work full-time. like to cook. not from sydney. but here for 7 years now. i really think this is enough information now, flatmates.com.au o_0 it keeps asking for more, but a good writer is succint. All happy families are alike; but each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness. it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way.
I'm a friendly, young, professional guy looking for other like-minded people. I'm very tidy and respectful of others' space, and understand how to live with other people. I'm social and ideally would like to live with a person / people that like to have a chat and hang out on occasion and have a beer, but I also like to keep to myself a lot. I love fitness and keeping healthy, cooking, reading, live music and the outdoors / the beach. I have a 4-month-old Ragdoll kitten Teddy who is incredibly well-behaved / super chilled. He has been trained to only use the scratching post I keep in my bedroom so he's not destructive, and he doesn't shed hair at all. Otherwise he's incredibly friendly (he's more like a dog than a cat!), loves cuddles, and spends most of his time sleeping.
Hi! I'm Aline (37). I work full time as a research scientist at a biotech company and I'm lucky to say that I really enjoy my job! Well, that doesn't mean that work is my life! Not really. I've got addicted to Argentine Tango two years ago. Therefore I'll be dancing a few nights per week. Occasionally I'll take my motorbike out for a spin or to the track. Otherwise I live a fairly healthy lifestyle though I can't say no to cheese & wine. I love catching up with my friends! Normally I would go out for dinner but occasionally I cook myself. I try to stay fit so I do classes (mainly pilates) at the gym regularly or go rock-climbing (hm, that hasn't really happen lately). Have I mentioned that I dance a lot! ;) On rainy days I might end up at the movies or watch netflix at home. Me as a person I would say I'm easy to get along with, fun, very considerable and respectful, clean and tidy, well just very house-trained :) Due to timing/busy schedules I have preferred to do my own cooking & shopping and I think I would prefer that. However, a common meal every now and than would be great. Also, I do know how to clean after myself :) I have lived in shared house for many years now; in one place for more than six years! I own a motorbike which needs "a home" too, so I'm looking for a place with secured parking. If you have any other questions please just drop me a line ...
Hey peeps. Here's a 24 year old laid back incoming Master's student looking for shelter near UNSW from mid July to December(might extend it later). Hoping to find a share house/flat with a nice private room. I would prefer an en-suite bathroom but it's not that big of a deal. I'm completely new to Sydney so would be down on the weekends to go out and explore the city & its culture(drinking), but would also be inclined to just chill at home with my new homies. I'm open to team ups or if you already have a house and are looking for a housemate let me know.
Hi! I'll be moving from San Diego for a master's degree at the end of July. I'm looking for housemates that can turn into friends! I'm pretty easy going and like healthy eating, being outdoors, and brunch/drinks on the weekends.
G'Day, I'm Rich. I'm an easy going fella, clean, respectful, active and not one to spend every evening slumped in front of the TV. I work in the city in professional IT services and I'm on the look out for a new place to call home. I am social by nature and I like to meet new people. Cooking, dragging myself to the gym, being out doors, live music, IPA and my football team are some of my life's pleasures. Would consider living anywhere in the city fringes and preferably an unfurnished room. Cheers
I'm originally from London but will be living in Sydney until mid October. I'm sociable, but not looking for a party house. Tidy and always clean up after myself (no dishes left in the sink for days on end!) Having been living in a shared apartment in Melbourne for the last few months I'm not enjoying being back in hostels and am looking for somewhere I can make home for the next 3 months. I've just secured a full time job in the CBD so am looking for somewhere to live which is easily commutable. Not too set on any particular suburbs yet. It needs to be a furnished room (bed, mattress and wardrobe). I would consider increasing the budget slightly if the right place came along. If you think you have something that might interest me please let me know. Thanks Yvonne
Hello, I'm Minh, mature tidy individual looking for a decent size unfurnished room ideally with my own bathroom for a long term. I've lived in a number of share houses/apts and always stay longer than 12 months as the idea of moving in and out frustrates me.. At this stage, i'm doing software development degree at CSU and working long hours in Japanese fine dining and also doing internship for an I.T firm where i get involved with Google in Bondi Junction few days per week. Yes, it's quite full on. i'm mature minded, independent, organised- very clean and tidy, reliable and especially considerate about others and the sharing environment. I have a huge passion in cooking//baking and i enjoy music as well as aged rum. However, my schedule is very very tight so i barely have free time to cook up a storm. If you like a classic risotto and freshly baked croissants, you've just found your new flatmate! and there is still half bottle of Sauvignon Blanc after making the risotto! Ideally, I prefer to live with mature individual which is not based on age as it is just a number. i've shared house with people in their late 20's and my current flatmate is in his late 40's. I'm very sociable yet totally respect privacy. I'm really open-minded, bit flirty and always up for a good time while living together. At this stage, i get caught up with lots of work and study so i'm out a lots and barely have day off but I like to keep myself busy with lots of activities anyway. I go cycling and going out and about with friends for brunch and some beverage when having some spare time. There are way too many places to live, lots of apartments that is available to share in Sydney but for me, i'm looking for a place that i can call "home" not just some random AirBnb room so it will come down to the people i'm going to live with. Like minded people are great but sometimes being different is fascinating too Text me anytime. if i am occupied, I will get back as soon as i can. Cheers :)
