Hello! I'm Will, 23, from England. I shared a few apartments with people in different countries, so I understand how to be a good and respectful flatmate! I'm clean and quiet and I'd love to meet new people :)
ATTENTION: In Desperate Need of a Private Bedroom in a Sharehouse, With Mostly Females :-) Hello Everyone My name is Melanie, I am 21 turning 22 in April and I currently work part-time in a retail department store in Brisbane City. I have been working in the retail industry for over 5 years now and enjoy communicating with people and helping them to find what they are looking for. My cultural background is Sri-Lankan and Indian, and I was born in Brisbane. What makes me a great person to live? I respect peoples privacy and space, I am an independent individual that is responsible and will pay the bills and rent on time. I don't drink or smoke and I am not a party person, so you wouldn't need to worry about that :-) In addition, I enjoy a good chat and would love to get to know my housemates over dinner. What do I like to do for fun? On the weekend I love to catch up with friends over coffee or go to Southbank. I also enjoy spending time on my own watching Netflix and going for walks to clear my mind. P.S The maximum I can afford is $185 per week including all bills, please only message me if your post is under $185 or under and includes all bills:-) Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing from you soon
I’m a registered nurse who works mon to fri mainly and some weekends. Im tidy around the house, like to socialise but understand people’s need for space. I like getting out and about, the beach, live music, Pilates, travel, a wine, a laugh and good chat. I’ve lived abroad in the past, travelled a bit of the world and have lived in Brisbane for 8 years. Looking for some like minded people to share a house with and if I’m lucky form some friendships. I’m flexible with move in dates.
We are both architects and would like to live the aussie experience. Very extrovert couple that loves meeting new people. We both love any kind of sport and we enjoy a beer, wine.. a good chat with people. We are both open-minded but very clean and tidy and we expect the same of our flatmates.
28 year old British male looking for a room to rent around the Hamilton, New Farm, Newstead, Teneriffe area. I'm also looking into Gold Coast options. Flexible with locations and open to most living situations. Very chilled, easy going and clean. I usually work nights. My usual routine involves the gym, cooking for dinner/ work, night shifts, sleep and repeat. Due to working nights I like to wind down at weekends with nice food and a movie. I do love to go out for beers, but as I have just had 5 months off work travelling, I will be mostly working and chilling =) Also I am over the whole going out every weekend and partying. I love to travel. This means I do work quite a bit to fund travels. I am a permanent resident here and will be sticking around. Also, if you have a dog I'll more than likely be keen Let me know if I suit your place =)
Hi! I'm Sarah. I've lived in Brisbane share houses on and off for about 10 years. Looking for like-minded people to share with, in a rad apartment in the New Farm, Newstead or Teneriffe area. I want to move closer to the river for the lifestyle and to be part of a more kindred community of young professionals. Also hoping it motivates me to get a little more exercise and sunshine in my week :). I work pretty long hours but like to enjoy chill time at home, getting brunch and going out for multiple coffees, yoga and heading to the beach on my days off. Keen to get to know my housemates and hangout if time permits but very much understand the need for privacy, self-time and need to switch off. Flexible on move in date, although I'll be aiming to move after I return from holidays at the end of May. :)
Hey - I'm James. Originally from the UK I've been in Australia for 5 months. I've just secured a job in Brisbane and looking for somewhere to live from 26th March. I'm 28, easy going, clean and tidy and respectful of other people. I like sports, beer and coffee, and I'm looking forward to getting to know all the good spots around Brisbane. If you want to know anymore details then please let me know. James
**** my lease is up mid May **** Recently moved to Brisbane from Adelaide. Currently living on my own in Teneriffe, love the space and place, but need a little more human interaction 😊 I have zero furniture, ive moved into a fully furnished place here, hence the search for an existing set up 😊 Ideally I would want a bathroom to myself, and not a huge amount of housemates. 3 in total max. I do have a car, so parking would be lovely! I've done the house share for a long time and I like my own space now. I travel for a fair bit for work, and work as a training manager for a footwear company. I am a bubbly person, but am definitely a respectful young professional. Enjoy my downtime as much as I enjoy a nice glass of wine.
Hi! I’m Laura, I’m 30 years old and I’m relocating to Brisbane in early April to take up a position at UQ. I’m from Sydney but have been living in Cambodia for the past year, and Canberra for 6 years before that. I love coffee and cheese and playing sports and when I get a chance I love to cook up a storm in the kitchen. On the weekends I like to enjoy a mix of socialising, weekends away and hanging out at home. I’m looking for a room in a share house (preferably with just one other female housemate) that is spacious, tidy and clean and will provide me with a comfortable place to relax and hang out. I’ve done the sharehouse thing for many years and am a respectful and tidy housemate - very happy to share a meal, glass of wine or Netflix session when the opportunity pops up but also respect the need for privacy. Hoping my new housemate can also show me the cool places of Brisbane!
Two ladies, ( Australian and Pervian) Who are looking to share a house/flat with other like minded people. We’re both friendly, easy going and love to have a laugh. I work in bar tending and events. Stephany works at a daycare centre and has her own business (face painting at childrens parties). We both lead quite busy lives but, can also be quite social and enjoy a drink when the time is right. We would also respect your privacy and boundaries too. We look forward to meeting you.
Hey! I'm Lauren. I'm a positive, friendly and tidy person who works full time as a teacher. I'm looking for some great people to live with, not just a room. Must love dogs-I have a 6 year old dog, Maisy. Would be great if you also had a dog so she could have a pal! Not after a party house but love having friends over, having dinners and socialising with a few drinks. I am a non-smoker and enjoy cleaning and gardening- will bring lush plants with me! I can keep to myself if needed and love nothing more than a good Netflix marathon. I won't judge the amount of carbs you eat as long as you promise the same...
Hi, I'm Maddie! I currently work three jobs (one full time, one casual and one consulting gig) so I'm really only home at night and on the weekend. In my down time, I like to cook, listen to music, have a drink (tea or G&T/wine, depends on the day) and watch TV. I'm a pretty quiet person but I'd love to find a flatmate who enjoys a Friday night movie/pizza night every so often. I also have an Apple TV (but currently a dead TV) so I'd be happy to share that, which has access to Netflix, Stan, SBS on Demand etc. Not looking for a party house - I love my sleep way too much! Ideally, I'm looking for a house more than an apartment, because I miss having a dog too much and want to get one (if you have a dog even better!) I also like doing a bit of gardening on the weekends, including growing herbs and veges, so it would be awesome if I could find space to do that. Oh and I used to work in a doctor's surgery so I know how and like to clean! Hit me up if you have any questions! :)
Hey :) My name is Caity and I'm currently studying a Dual Bachelor's Degree of Human Resource Management and Psychology at QUT (Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point Campuses). I also work part-time at a Psychology and Psychiatry Clinic in the city (mainly paediatrics). I love to cook and bake and am pretty active; swim, play tennis, do Hot Yoga, learning to play golf. Non-smoker, heterosexual but obviously completely non-judgemental of any persons LGBTQI. I keep a pretty clean room and don't mind cleaning shared spaces at all, plus not opposed to people who smoke and/or "smoke". Used to live with 7 guys in the UK so can definitely live with guys/girls. Keen to make friends but also pretty introverted so don't mind keeping to myself - whatever works for you guys. I have a car so street parking would be preferable :)
I do shift work so I am hardly home and have a super active social life (playing sports and hanging with friends and family).
Working full-time in city. Very friendly and easy going, as long as we don't interrupt each others privacy, would love to share a drink and have chat sometimes. I have no problem with any kind of pets, in fact I would love my housemates to have dogs or cats. If you think, I am a suitable housemate for you then please contact me.
30 yr old professional, looking for a place in South Brisbane/West End after returning from a working holiday overseas. Easy going, friendly and enjoy a chat over an occasional drink or meal but am also independent and just as happy doing my own thing. I'm tidy, and respect other people's space, things and need for sleep. A combination of rock climbing and general fitness (gym and cycling) keeps me busy during the week and weekends and also balances a cheese addiction.
I have just recently started full-time work, and am looking for a place to settle down. I am originally from the Gold Coast, and am done with commuting for hours. I enjoy travelling and just recently made a solo trip to Japan and Korea last year, and lived for six months in Leeds, England. I'm a pretty chill person that enjoys hanging out, but will also respect your personal space.
Hi there, my names Rachel, I'm 26 and currently living in Perth. I am moving to Brisbane in May and am looking for a place to call home. On the weekends I like to relax and plan to explore a lot Brisbane. I am neat and organised.. I always respect other peoples space. I love a wine or two on the weekends, I enjoy going out and socialising but am also down for a quiet night binge watching Netflix and eating my weight in chocolate. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle and love cooking. If I sound like the right fit for your home or you'd like to team up, please don't hesitate to contact me :)

Hey, I'm a student at UQ looking for a room in Brisbane. I've been in Brisbane for a couple of years now after moving up from Sydney. Currently I'm studying out bush in St George (~400km West of Brisbane) and will need a place to live when I get back to the big smoke. I'm a pretty active person.
