Hi there, My name is Ryan and I am looking for a new place to call home. Currently I have been living in a big modern house on the north side of Brisbane for the last 5 years. I have been the head tenant with most of the responsibility, and own most of the furniture. Our lease is coming up shortly, and I would like to move somewhere more central, whilst not paying an incredible amount of rent. Hoping to pay less than $220/week including bills. I am open to teaming up with someone to move into a town house or finding a nice granny flat etc too. I am looking to live with either 1, or max 2 other people. I can also provide furniture and appliances (couches, fridge, washing machine, microwave, plates, bowls, pots and pans, cutlery, dining table, chairs, desk, Balinese furniture, outdoor table, other appliances etc), but if not that's ok too as I can simply sell or store them elsewhere. I have a very well trained, friendly 10 year old male maine coon cat who I would love to bring with me. He is mostly a lazy indoor cat, likes his sleep and doesn't mind other furry friends. We are best of buddies and have been through a lot together, and it would be great to live with people who would also enjoy the company of a mini tiger :) I have recently been working as a warehouse assistant, and also study business and IT on the side. I also receive government help as I do have a disability, which would not affect my ability to live with someone else independently. I am hoping to find something relaxed with little to no dramas, judgements or arguments. A place with a decent sized room, air conditioning (just for the hot periods, and not necessarily in the room itself). My cat is used to wandering outside for the odd walk around the yard so I would also prefer to live somewhere that has a backyard/courtyard. I am the kind of guy who is social with his housemate/s, but can also as easily keep to myself. I would prefer to live with friendly, supportive people who don't take living situations too seriously. I am indeed responsible, respectful, caring, open, very clean (dislike mess), honest, and reliable. What I am not into is drinking copious amounts of alcohol (the odd glass of spirits is ok), smoking (but do not mind if you do smoke), or constant partying. These days I am more into social events, lots of exercise and the gym, self development, watching a good movie, meditation, reading, gardening, nature or heading to the beach. I am also vegan. If you like the sound of me, please send me a message as I am keen to find my next long-term house mate/s and home to be. I have not provided my mobile number as I would prefer to build rapport over message first, and then chat on the phone :) Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you, Ryan
Hey, I am recent postgrad graduate from UQ. Working part-time at Brisbane City Hall. Looking for an easy but tidy place to live in. Always up for a catch up over drinks or movie nights but likes my personal time more. Unbothered with most lifestyles and habits except cleanliness. Let me know if you have got a place that would interest me. Cheers
Hi I'm Andy I'm looking for temporary accommodation, at this stage. I work full time, professional. Clean, respectful, social, considerate. Time frame would be between now and April, I return from a holiday in Europe early April. Have a great day!
Hi! I am a busy 31-year-old female professional working and studying at uni part-time. I've gone back to uni for a second time to pursue a career change and I'm graduating at the end of 2018, so I'm looking for a share for the coming year, or for a shorter period (e.g. six months or nine months) depending on what you may have available. A little more about me: - Fitness enthusiast that loves keeping fit; - Quiet, non-drinker, non-smoker... partying days are long behind me! - Away most weekends studying and visiting family; - Enjoys Netflix, travelling and running when I have the odd bit of spare time; - Tidy, clean, reliable, mature, respectful of others' personal space and privacy - I'm also happy to help take care of any plants or a pet that you might have. - Loves cats and is happy to live in a place with a cat or cats (don’t mind dogs but not really a dog lover). My budget is $220 per week (inclusive of bills), but I can be a little flexible around this if you are closer in to the CBD. More than anything though I'm looking for the right person. I understand that finding the right flatmate can be stressful (we've all been there) so I’m keen to find someone with similar personality and interests, and someone doesn't mind that I might not be around very much except for evenings - if you don't mind a fairly independent flatmate, I just might be for you. In return, I’ll be a helpful and tidy housemate who you can rely on :) What I'm looking for - - trustworthy and mature flatmate who is preferably of similar age, but anyone with a sensible outlook is okay; - furnished bedroom (study desk is a bonus); - someone who also prefers a non-party house; - ideally close to public transport, but I don’t mind walking a distance for a good express bus or train; - someone who is understanding of my schedule and doesn't mind having an independent flatmate rather than one who is home a lot - anyone who is studying and working as well I would love to hear from! Please note - I do require a furnished bedroom with a bed, as all of my things are in storage. I can't accept offers for unfurnished rooms at the current time. Sorry, also no outer suburbs please as I need to keep my commute time down). Please also note: I am taking a break from real estate agents so I am not looking to either sign on to a lease or take over a lease, apologies. Please feel free to ask any questions if you'd like to know more!
I am 24 years old. I'm currently working as a Registered nurse at an aged care. I like being social and looking for room mates that can also be my friends. I like my space to be clean and I am respectful of peoples privacy. I am ready to move in asap.
Hi there! My names Darcy, I’m from the country and I’ll be 18 in March. I’ll be studying visual art and creative writing at QUT this year, so I’m looking to live somewhere near Kelvin Grove. Anywhere from where I can walk to and from the campus, or take public transportation would be great! I’m a clean, relaxed and respectable person that really loves music and everything about it, as well as art and exploring new places. I also like to watch lots of different films and have a good time that ends in good laughs. I do smoke cigarettes on occasion, however, I prefer to smoke away from people and outside, so I hope that won’t be a bother.
Hi, I'm Mel! I work part-time in health and am currently studying a post graduate degree. I work shift work so I am at home at random times! On my days off I enjoy playing a bit of music, adventuring to a waterfall or the markets or having a cheeky beverage and going out for a bit of a boogie. I am tidy, but appreciate sharing the workload of keeping the house clean. I've lived in share houses before and know what it's like to have people not pull their weight! I am looking for housemates in similar age who are respectful and don't mind socialising over a drink on the weekend. I would prefer to live with no more than 3 other housemates with at least one other female. I am looking for a lease of 6 months or less as I will be travelling overseas in July!
Hi there! I'm a medical student from Toronto and have just moved to Brisbane to study at UQ. I'm social and outgoing but also respect privacy and space. I enjoy sports, fitness, food, and a good conversation! I don't drink or smoke (sort of health obsessed because you know... medical student). Would love to meet new people and explore beautiful Brisbane!
Hi, I'm Brazilian, 25 yo, and I'm looking for a single room in somewhere near the city. I'm tidy, very clean and I'm studying interior design on Tafe.
Hello! I am from Brisbane and looking for a place in close proximity to CBD and I have listed my preferred suburbs below. I will be flexible with moving before Feb 5th. Currently I work full time in retail in CBD. I am very friendly, introvert, down to earth, trustworthy, tidy, clean and respect your privacy and space. My hobbies are fitness, modelling, photography, volunteering, road trips and camping. If I am someone suitable please contact me. Cheers
I am a fun and bubbly American about to pursue my Masters at UQ in February. I would definitely say I'm an extrovert, as I love meeting new people and exploring new places. While I will need my space once in a while, I love to chit chat, listen to music, watch movies, have a beer, etc. I am hoping to find flatmates who are social but will also respect the importance of studying, work obligations, etc. I've been living with roommates for quite a few years now so I definitely understand the importance of keeping the place clean and respecting the space of others. Looking for location that balances out UQ and the city center!
I'm a happy and reliable person who is easy to get along with. I enjoy having a chat with people who can make good conversation yet I also enjoy some quality down time too. I am so excited to be starting my new job in Brisbane as it will be a new city for me to experience and as such I only know a few people from the area. I would really like to form good friendships with my future housemates, and would prefer to be in a household with a mix of males and females. I like to get out and about as much as I can, whether it be for a walk or a trip to the beach and I do enjoy the occasional drink on the weekend.
Hi! I'm a Structural Engineer working in Fortitude Valley. About me: I love sports (AFL in particular) and fitness, travel, adventure, a variety of music, photography, and anything that involves creativity. I live on the idea of trying everything once, and making the most of every opportunity. I am seeking roommate/s that are considerate, courteous, and that respect shared areas but who also like to relax and have a good time - and non-smokers too please. I have share-housed before, couch-surfed, and backpacked through various countries, so I know the ins-and-out of sharing etiquette! If I sound like someone you would like to meet, then let me know! Talk soon!
I am an adventurous, friendly 20 y/o girl from Norway. In February I'm starting my first university degree in Information Technology at UQ, and I'm looking for a room in a share house or to team up and look for a place together in Brisbane from early February - early July/August. I'd love to be friends with my roommates, and maybe do something fun together during weekends. As a person I am easy going and social, yet I respect the need for privacy. I'm tidy and always on time with bills, and I don't smoke nor have pets. For fun I like to travel, go out for drinks, binge Netflix, go to concerts or relax at a café. I love a good craft beer or a nice cup of cold brew or tea. I don't arrive Brisbane until the 31st of January, so unfortunately I won't be available for an inspection before the end of the month. If you're interested feel free to send me a message, and we'll work something out!
Hey! We’re two girls from Sweden, about to start our studies at APM College of Business and communication. We love spending time at the beach, relaxing or catching up with friends, like to cook and enjoy a sneaky beer every now and then! We are super responsible, clean and tidy and considerate. We are looking for a place to stay and call home for the next year and hopefully meet some new friends!
Hi! I'm Lucy, 20 years old and originally from FNQ. Currently studying my 2nd year of Science at UQ (St Lucia). I'm quiet, clean and reliable. I am easy to get along with, a people person and respectful of personal space. I work at Indooroopilly, and I'm hoping I can catch the bus from home. I love netball and animals (I don't have any. However, I'm happy to be living in a house with them). I've done my partying first year and I'll be knuckling down with my study this year, so expect me to be a bit secluded in my room most of the semester.

Hi! I'm currently seeking to rent an unfurnished room close to the city, with parking (essential). Looking at a 6 month lease just in case we don't work together but would be more than happy to stay longer if we do :) I'll be starting a post graduate course at QUT (Gardens Point) in the new year so I will be partly studying and working. I'm looking to move in with people who are around a similar age to me, students or not but no couples, sorry! As a roommate I enjoy a balance between having my own time and also getting to know my roommates, over drinks, movie nights etc :) *I can also provide unlimited internet if needed
Hey there, I'm currently studying at UQ while working part-time and am looking to move in with a bunch of friendly 20-somethings around the end of January/beginning of February. Very easy to live with! I'm a clean and tidy type of person. I also love to bake - so if you like brownies you're in for a treat!
