Hi! I'm a 22 year old exchange student from Norway, going to study at QUT Gardens Point this upcoming semester. I'm studying biotechnology. Really looking forward to see everything Brisbane's got to offer! I'm a tidy and organized person. Also non-smoker. I would like to live with other nice and social people, and I have lived in a houseshare for 3 years in Norway, so I know what it takes to live with people you didn't know before. I love the outdoors and hiking, doing fun stuff with friends, and experiencing new stuff while I'm on exchange. Also love just relaxing at home with a movie and good food sometimes. I take my studies seriously, and use a lot of time studying, but often at libraries or other places than where I live. I would like the place I move in to, to be fairly quiet, at least not lots of parties, so it's possible to get some sleep. Coming to Brisbane on the 7th of July, so anything around 7th-16th of July would work as a move-in date. If you're wondering about anything else, don't hesitate to ask! Hope to hear from you! Irina
Hi there! I'll be heading to Brisbane this July to start a Masters o Occupational Therapy at UQ. I'm very outdoorsy, always down for a chat and love exploring different places on weekends. I'd love to share a house with like minded roomates who are sociable yet respectful of boundaries . Looking forward to meeting new people and getting to know the city! Cheers, Daniela
I'm a 23-year-old student. I will be studying at QUT as an exchange student from this July to December. I'm looking for a place near kelvin grove campus or gardens point campus. I'd like to live with people who are friendly and are willling to chat and share stories.
Hey, I am a 19 year old, full time university student (QUT - Civil Engineering) and work part-time as a construction labourer. I'm looking for a 6 month lease in a place that is easy to get into the city from. I have my own bedroom furnishings as well as a car and am an easy-going, friendly and helpful guy who enjoys the outdoors as well as music. I do Scouts on a Monday night and play in a band on Sunday afternoons. I'm not fussy on roommates and get on well with most people I meet but would prefer a neat and 'non-party' house if possible.
Im a Colombian easy going guy, very clean and responsible. I'd like to find a place where I can feel as in home. I need to move as soon as possible to my own bedroom. I'd like clean and organized flatmate. Right now I'm just studying and looking for a job.
I'm working two jobs one during the day and one a night, so I'm not gonna be one of those 18 year olds stumbling in your door in early hours of the morning because I've got no time, I'm clean friendly and have a very vibrant personality! I work two fulltime jobs so I have a stable income :)
Hi My name is Warwick. I am a 37 year old self employed (full time) and student (full time). I run a digital services company, as well as an entertainment - news website and study fulltime. I work from home as well as out and about. I never bring clients or study friends home. I'm looking for a laid back social environment but also a place that values peace, quiet and harmony. I bring with me my computer - which I use for work and require a stable, fast Internet connection. I also bring my gaming consoles and plenty of games. I'm a good fit with both older and younger crowds. I get along well with both males and females. I have a steady relationship with a girl that will often see me away for days at a time. Don't worry, there's no intimacy expected at my new residence. We're not able to live together but she has her own space. She is, however, likely to pop in and socialise for an hour or so. She is heading overseas for months at a time. Thanks for your interest in my ad.
INTJ, introvert, love nights chilling at home, don't mind going out on occasion, quiet until I get to know people. I have a ragdoll cat called Eevie who is friendly but is a mostly indoor cat (I vacuum frequently so shedding will be minimal). Also enjoy a good glass of wine. I clean as I go, non-smoker. I'm a nurse and do work shift work from time to time so need someone who is mindful of when I need to sleep during the day. Ideally would like a garage space, bath tub (my relax time!) and air con. Honestly been a while since I've been apart of a share house however I am mindful of others space and privacy, and I am responsible with being on time with rent and bills. Ideally don't want more than sharing with 2 other people.
Hi I'm Yas .. I am clean and tidy, quiet, and very easygoing. I've been sharing houses with diverse nationalities and age groups. So I have enough experience to share a flat with and respect others privacy.
Love music, fine wine, interesting conversation, theatre, opera, good food, travel. I have a 2 yr old Maltese / Shitzu dog, hyper allergic. Would like an en-suite room. Looking to live with like minded people, or granny flat / studio. Need parking for car and would like to have access to Swimming pool and ideally a gym!! I look forward to hearing from you.
I am considerate and tidy. I enjoy having a chat and hanging with my housemates but also like coming home to a quiet house too. I am wanting to move closer to my work place in Milton (I sell snow holidays) and where I can cycle to where I want to go, and also have access to public transport. During my weeks I run, catch up with friends, read, watch netflix and often on my weekends I will head out of town to go for a hike or camping trip.
Hi Im Hollie. Im 27 years old and work full time as a lawyer in Paddington. Ive been living in share houses for over 6 years now and its always so exciting finding new room mates! 2 of my best friends were people I have met through house sharing! I work pretty long hours and I like to be out of the house most of the time. I love wine, any type will do and I cook a mean lasagne. If you also like wine and enjoy Italian food I could be the one you have been looking for.

Hi! I'm a hard working fella looking to stay closer to the city than my current arrangements. I work full time, play sport and socialize in my spare time. I like my own space but love to chat after work around the dinner table. Very easy going, tidy and respectful. Would love to live in a larger house with a few more flatmates. I normally disappear to Canada come November to work in ski resorts, but if the right place comes up I would consider staying on.
Hi people! I'm a 28 year-old uni student at UQ majoring in journalism who is looking for socially like-minded, drama-free housemates around my age. You'll find me to be someone who has their life together where I have clear goals and aspirations while working to achieve them. I'm also a producer and reporter, I do CrossFit and morning runs in my downtime, very passionate, ambitious, hardworking and a total professional but most of all fun to be around over a beer, some buffalo wild wings and a karaoke machine! I'm also well travelled having lived in New York for just over a year. If you think we'd get along nicely, not just as housemates but also potential friends, then swing me a message. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Chris
We both are from South America. Recently married. So we are in the most wonderful days of our relationship. We are looking for place to live and also near our schools or place of work. It has to be $275 or less per week for the both of us (including bills). We have our own furniture for the room if needed, otherwise we can sell our stuff. We wouldn't like to share a bathroom, please no share bathroom places. We both work in food delivery and some other jobs (cleaning, couching). I am studying my undergraduate Biotechnology (Honours) at UQ St. Lucia. I am a full scholarship grantee from the Government of my country. Foreseen to graduate in December 2018. Now, my wife studies English at Langports near Brisbane city. She would culminate her English course in January. Then She would like to get a Management certificate. We are the most adorable couple in the world. We are known to be tidy and easy to live with. We are in a mature minded marriage, respectful, kind and overall supportive. We are not planning to stay in Australia after we finish our studies. the reason is simple, I have to go back to return the scholarship I was granted by my country. In other words, we are looking for place to call home until the duty call us in our country. Also, something crucial about what we want, it is to be considered as independent couple and have our privacy above anything. Hope you could grasp a little of what we are as couple. We do not bring any surprises as we are always sincere and honest of anything you may want to know. Again if you are considering to have us as guests in your home, we will always appreciate that gesture and we won't disappoint. Cheers.
I'm a professional working full-time and studying part-time at uni so I am very busy and only at home during the evenings. I don't have parties or regular visitors, don't drink or smoke, and respect the privacy of those I live with. I'm very fitness-minded so I'm up early and go to bed early, so I don't keep anyone up at night too. If you are looking for a quiet, tidy, mature and reliable flatmate who values a relaxed and peaceful household and you are offering a flexible period of 4 - 6 months to stay in a furnished room (preferably with own bathroom but I don't mind sharing) then please don't hesitate to contact me. (Please note: I am currently not looking to sign on to a lease/take over a lease, apologies.) Female flatmates preferred. Looking forward to hearing from you. Update: I've been inundated with more than 30 messages (thankyou!) so please bear with me if I take some time to reply.
25 June update: my former mobile phone handset not working. Alternative phone number: 0455508449 I’m a non-smoking, no-pets, no kids, middle-aged and young-at-heart, Canadian/Australian female, tidy, responsible, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. I've lived in a lot of sharehouses in multiple countries and value easy-going, open communication. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident who's relocated back from Melbourne. Have worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently on break from my part-time Master of Environment studies. My interests include yoga, swimming, cooking healthy meals, easy cycling/hiking, arthouse films, sustainability and community volunteering. Seeking a non-smoking, pet-free, kid-free household to share with 1 or 2 adults (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. I am interested in renting for at least 6 months. I have a car so would need either on-street parking or parking spot, if available. Prefer a relatively quiet household but I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates or watching TV (e.g. news, docco or The Simpsons). I don’t drink alcohol but am fine with my flatmates having the occasional drink. Move-in date flexible. References available.
Hi I'm Cat I'm a landscape architect - moved back from London at the end of last year and just got a new job off James St so I'm looking for a place fairly central. I'm tidy, but very easy going and social.
Hey, I'm a 21 year old guy from India - so a good stereotype would be if Raj from The Big Bang Theory made out with Dev from Master of None (which is to say, I'm into science, I occasionally read, love video games, have a quiet social life, and hoping to say Allora alot while I'm there.) I'm coming down to do a Masters at the University of Queensland, and looking for a place to stay for a short term while I get used to the city and consider my options. A little bit about myself: While in India I wrote and directed a few short-films/web-series - and occasionally performed stand up comedy. I like to be clean and organized , and love most kind of music, and I am pretty tolerable with almost all (or no) religious believes - so that would not be a problem. I also binge watch alot of shows, and as far as fun is concerned, I like to play/watch Badminton/Cricket/Football - or go on a walk, or shoot timelapses. Or sleep. Mostly sleep. I'm a party animal in that regard.
I am an easygoing Dutch earth sciences exchange student who is cheerful, social and outgoing, but also respectful. My plan for living in Brisbane is to study, do sports and see parts of the city during the weeks and go on trips in some of the weekends! My (super original) goal is to become a skilled surfer in Australia, for which I have a long way to go because I can only stand on a plank now. Furthermore, I love sailing, going on hikes and boring people with stuff about mountains and volcanoes :-). I am in for chilling or drinks and fun, but also want to do my own things now and then and I hope to find a place with likeminded people. I respect my housemates and like to keep the place quite tidy as well.
