I'm a highschool teacher, easy going, clean, easy to live with. Don't party or drink much, don't smoke or have pets. I like to go out for dinner, a drink or two, movies etc on weekends and gym every day. Just interested in finding someone chilled out and easy to live with. I would like to live in an apartment preferably something with a pool (I know, that sounds fussy!). I am also happy to team up and start somewhere new. Thanks :)
Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time!

I'm a 29 year old female, just graduated from university in Sydney and am moving back to Brisbane after 5 years away. Looking for a job in my field (environmental science) with the possibility of undertaking a Masters at UQ - will continue working in hospitality in the meantime. I'm clean, easy going and have lived with flatmates for the past 10 years. Looking to make friends not just fill a room, always keen to hang out and have a beer/wine/bbq/chat. Happy to organise my own food, no dietary requirements, no white goods etc. As a side note (website won't let me add pets) I do have a little black and white cat, Detective Mittens, who lives mostly outdoors and sleeps 20 hours a day which I would ideally like to bring.
I'm a recent graduate currently working in Brisbane city, who likes cats and Korean music. I'm quiet and clean, and not a party person. I mainly keep to myself and am a bit shy, but friendly once you get to know me. :)
Hey, I'm Kai! I'm a 22 y.o. from Singapore who is going to study in QUT for 2+ years in 2017 and so I am searching for a place to call home in Brisbane. :) I have done an okay amount of traveling, mostly by myself staying in hostels and so I have no problems with socialising and sharing (although I'm looking for a room all to myself). I am a responsible, clean and tidy individual so you don't have to worry about dishes left in the sink uncleaned or toothpaste smeared on the basin. I'm friendly, open and laid-back so I'm easy to make friends with and hangout. :) Sometimes I like to have a fun night out and sometimes I like to have a quiet evening by myself. I will respect your personal space and hope you do the same for me as well! I like the outdoorsy stuff especially surfing (I'm a beginner and am hoping to surf more!); video games are also my thing and I love hanging out with friends in town in malls, in bars, etc. So dear future roommates, I look forward to meeting you!
Hi I'm Alegria, and I'm moving to Brisbane for a gap year. I will study English, and I am also looking for a part time job. I'm friendly and open-minded, always happy to meet new people!! I love sports, watching movies, music, travel and explore other cultures.
I've recently moved back to Brisbane after living in Scotland (Edinburgh) for the past 2 years, working for publishing company. Am looking for a really central place with good people who get along well! I love wine and cheese, and running around outdoors to try and balance that out.
Hey! I'm a Canadian student coming on exchange to UQ in February! I'm looking for a group of chill, fun and tidy girls and guys to flat with. I'm easy going, friendly, clean and fun to have around. When I'm not studying I'll definitely be learning how to surf, snorkeling, and staying active! I'm a christian and would also love to get involved in a church in the area. I look forward to arriving in Brissy :)
Hello! My name is Brooke and I am from the United States. I am about to move to Brisbane for work starting in November. I am neat and organized. I am also very easy going and friendly! I would like to find a room to rent that is in close proximity to the city. I love any outdoor adventurous activities and exploring new areas. I can't wait to explore Brisbane and I look forward to meeting some new people!
Ehh there! I'm a Canadian looking for a place to live, will be working construction full time near Tweed Heads. I love being active outdoors, diving, cooking, (I keep a spotless kitchen) keeping fit and having a good time wherever I'm at, I'm easygoing and not one to complain. No stranger to housemates, I know the importance of keeping tidy and being respectful so I expect the same in return. Good vibes only! :) much love
Quiet/ non-partier/ non-smoker/ immaculately clean/ well travelled/ get on well with most people/ considerate/ from Hervey Bay QLD, however have lived OS in India for 2 years so have lots of interesting stories/ I like going to the gym, walking, going to nice restaurants and enjoying good conversation & food!
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. When sharing you need to be respectful of others. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year, first sem accounting student at QUT. I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). Mia is currently 3 months old, she's a clever little monkey and wins everyone's hearts. It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
y name is Bessie, I am 18, seeking some long term accomodation as I am just moving to the coast from Toowoomba. I am responsible, respectful and am very tidy. I am always happy to help around the house and am very good to get along with.
Cheerful german biochemistry student, coming to Brisbane to do my master thesis at Griffith University. Clean, tidy and sociable. I enjoy all kinds of sports as well as good meals and conversations over a beer or two. I am looking for a nice and tidy place with roomates to talk to, cook with and possibly explore the city with, but also with the possibility to close my door at times if the thesis does get stressful. Preferably looking for a furnitured place.
Hi, I am looking for a place to live. I work full time though the week as an engineer and like to relax and take it easy on the weekends/evenings. I am easy going, tidy and a non smoker. I am happy to share cups of tea, meals and chats, while respecting each others privacy. I'm also happy to chip in with the house work. Please feel free to send me a message if you would like to know more. Thanks Zhenya
Hey, I'm Martin. I'll be 18 next month, but I’ve been living independently for around a year now. I’m currently studying music business with the intent to work in the creative industry in the near future. While juggling this, work part time in a restaurant in Southbank, and write for two music websites in my spare time. I’m a really social person who loves a good chat and a cup of tea, but I also value my own, and others privacy. I’m fairly tidy, open minded and easy going, and I enjoy home cooking, Netflix binges and listening to tunes.
Easygoing, chilled and friendly chick. Work, gym and chill during the week and socialise, adventure and beach days on weekends. Love meeting new people, making friends and having a chat but also totally respectful of everyone's space. Ideally looking for 2 bed and 2 bath to share with someone close to city/valley. Have bedroom furniture only so would possibly need to look for furnished place. Open to other options.
Hi I'm Ashlee and I am 21 years old and study Health Science at UQ :). I love animals (especially cats) and healthy living. I also work part-time. I like a balance of being social and studying. If I am unable to find someone to move into my existing share-house by early November, I will be seeking to move into another existing share house. Message me :). If you are currently trying to find a place to move into by late November, let me know! Rent is $150/ week, internet is an extra $30/ month. The unit is located in Red Hill :). (no pets are allowed unfortunately).
Clean & tidy. Easy going. Secure monthly income. Love a chat(at same time respectful of people's space), a drink or 2, cooking, keeping fit. Can operate a lawn mower and a vacuum cleaner. Pay my bills on time and rent 4wks in advance. Have a beautiful 7yr old female Kelpie-Jess, who's personality is quite infectious. Not too much phases or surprises us.
easy going, full time professional.... working full time and studying, so keep fairly quiet... clean and tidy and respectful of others
Hi there, I'm a full time professional in my mid 20's. Looking for a place at the end of November/start of December with a secure parking spot. I'm clean and sociable but not home much during the week with work, gym and netball. I have all of my own bedroom furniture so just looking for a room. Thanks, Rachel
Hi! I am a Mechanical Engineer, working in a coal mine in Central Queensland. I work weekdays and travel back to Brisbane for my weekends (FIFO). I spend a lot of this time catching up with mates and being active to make the most of my time off.
*Currently I am overseas so sending an email or messaging me through flatmate is a better option for contacting me until 2nd of November. I am a full time PhD student and a sessional academic at QUT. I am well organized and clean at home. I am super respectful to my flatmates and their stuff. Though, I expect the same level of respect from my flatmate(s). I like watching movies, reading books and drinking coffee whenever I am home. I love cooking real food If I am not super tired after work and I like sharing it with others. I don't smoke, I don't crank up the volume, I am not constantly on phone or skype talking to someone for 7/24, I don't leave nasty dishes or crumbles around. I know this listing sounds like it has been written by a grumpy old person though I think it might give you a better idea about who you are going to live with. Cheers!
I'm a energetic self employed, creative arts/ singer, clothes designer & musician. My personality is vibrant, fun, I'm happy, easy going, and a eco friendly 28 year old woman. I'm looking for a room for rent with like minded creative happy vibe flatmates in West End, Brisbane Qld 4101, or Highgate Hill, Brisbane, Qld 4101. South Brisbane, Brisbane, Qld 4101. Thanks, Natalie.
Hi All, My name is Shaun and i've just come back from my last adventure overseas. I've decided to pack up my stuff and move to a new state and see what Brisbane has to offer. Firstly don't be scared by the fact I'm unemployed as I've quit my job to move. I'm extremely motivated and won't take long to find a job. And on top of that I have savings so I won't struggle to pay the rent in the meantime. I'm not looking to live in a large share house as I've done that before in London and it's not my thing! My first profession is a qualified chef and the second being a thermit welder in the rail industry. Travel is my biggest passion having been to 5 continents and 37 countries so far. I love everything outdoors from hiking, camping, road cycling, running and so much more. Ideally I'd like my budget to be an all in price but always flexible for the right place and right housemates. As I'm driving up from Tasmania I'll have my car. So a place with Parking available is a big thing I need. If you feel like i could be your next friend and flat mate i look forward to hearing from you :)
Hi, I am a 30 Year old Male who works full time and am looking for a room in a clean house with social housemates.....preferably not massive party animals..... Let me know if you want to know more or think I would be a suitable fit for your share house. Cheers, Mark
I am extremely tidy, considerate of other flatmates and I pay my bills on time. I work full time and spend most evenings and weekends at the gym or at the dog park with my pup. Looking for a nice house close to the city or teaming up with others.
Hey! My name is Sebastian and I recently graduated from an undergrad degree which I was doing on the Gold Coast. I will be back in Australia on the first week of February for my masters coursework and I am looking for a room or a teamup for a new property in Brisbane. Will probably be working part-time as well. I love have people around me to do activities with, but also enjoy having my private space to relax so as a roommate I would be up for house meals and trips as well as just relaxing home. I love being outdoors, specially on the beach and in the water. If not you will find me playing volleyball! I'm clean and will look after myself and the place as well. I have no problem getting along with people, enjoy talking to anyone. Let me know if you have a place I could take up in your property or if you would like to start a teamup!
I'm clean, respectful, financially stable, social and organised. I like to keep things tidy and well presented so I can feel comfortable and relaxed in the space I am living. I work full time in Spring Hill as a Senior Property Valuer. I like to cook, make music and make coffee. I will be heading back to the Sunshine Coast every second weekend to see friends and family and to play golf so I wont be home all the time. I would love to meet you!
27 year-old journalism student at UQ searching for housemates around my age to live with who are fun, independent and socially like-minded. I am hoping to find some cool people to live with. Willing to move into a room or create/join a sharegroup to find a new home. Transferring from my job here to a full-time position in Brisbane, I will also be working on side projects in my spare time - but I always make sure to enjoy my down time too! I love meeting new people, having a good time and a good laugh & am respectful of mine and others' need for space and alone time. You'll find I'm a pretty open minded person and super easy to get along with. Thanks for reading!
We're a friendly and outgoing couple but also like our times of solitude as well. Both of us will be studying at UQ (business and medicine) so we'll be at the library quite a lot over the semesters. We like to keep our surroundings tidy and are happy to hang out with our fellow housemates for movies nights, dinners etc. Hoping to find and move into a place by the end of January 2017. Based on feedback, the budgeted rental price is our combined maximum not including bills.
Easy going couple looking to share a home with like minded professional(s) working full time. We are in early 30's. We lead an active lifestyle, love socialising and keep fit. Working week is pretty standard - work, gym, dinner, an occasional glass of vino and on weekends we love to hit the water, catch up with mates and go crazy every now and again :) If you would like to know any more feel free to shoot us a msg. Aggie & Damo
I work full time in the city as a lawyer and am looking for a place in the New Farm/ Teneriffe area - ideally somewhere close to public transport and good cafes. A bathtub is a must for my new place, as is a covered car space. I like home to be a place to recharge and relax and would love to live with someone like-minded. I keep to myself a bit during the week but enjoy a cider and a chat on weekends. I'm looking to move in January 2017 (when my current lease expires). Feel free to get in touch if you have a suitable place or if you'd like to find a place with me!
I am moving to Brisbane at the end of the year and looking for a team- up, room/ house/flat to rent. Looking for either guys or girls between the ages of 25-35. I am fairly quiet (until you get to know me), easygoing, like alone time and also up for a chat and a social drink. I have shared houses with people before and still remain very good friends with them. I am respectful of other people's things and I would like the same. I don't drink much or go out much, just out here and there for outings etc. with friends for coffee, brekky dates, dinner and others. I'm also keen on a backyard barbie and a few drinks with some music. I am clean but not a clean freak but like it if we help each other out and I am understanding if you need a break. I'd like a place to call home and feel comfortable living. I work in education and I won't be working over the Christmas holidays and am applying for jobs however I will have an income over the holidays. I also am into fitness and looking for someone to either workout too or show me some areas. I am happy to help out around the house and buy my own food and so forth. I will have my own bed.
I have just moved back to Brisbane from the NT. A QUT graduate I work in IT. I am friendly and easy going and hoping to find flatmates who I can call mates :)

**I'm looking at places that are available in December so please do not message me otherwise** I'm a UQ law graduate who is working full-time. I am easygoing and enjoy some chats from time to time. As I have a busy lifestyle, I prefer time to myself to relax after work. I care a lot about maintaining a quiet household and environment. I prefer a place with more storage space, preferably a large inbuilt cupboard in my room. I also prefer for the room to be on the ground floor. I play the piano, paint and publish poems occasionally. I used to be a competitive judo player and join trainings in UQ occasionally. Other times, I enjoy yoga and a bit of stretching. I love cats but do not own one. I'm quite allergic so I prefer a place that is quite clean and free from dust. Wrt household chores, I clean as I go. I've lived with housemates who are extremely clean and I adapt well to people with different habits, so long as they are responsible and generally clean. My move-in date is flexible. I prefer to find a stable and long-term accommodation. I'd like to have rental agreements and inspections done according to RTA standards - bond to be lodged with the RTA, inspection checklist to be done upon moving in, etc.
