Hey! :) I'm Steph, I'm 28, I work full time and study part time, I'm pretty neat and like a clean and tidy house (as long as the main areas like kitchen and lounge etc are tidy I don't care about your bedroom lol mine is usually pretty messy but that's why there's a door.. to close it and forget about it... haha) :) I'm looking to live either the Northside (Nundah, Aspley, Kelvin Grove, Bridgeman Downs etc) or on the Southside (Springfield Lakes, Augustine Heights, Brookwater, Collingwood Park etc). Ok... so I know a lot of people don't wanna live with a kid but honestly, its really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! lol :) My boy is 8 and a half, so he can pretty much look after himself lol He looooves playing xbox and would loooove to have an xbox buddy to play GTA with lol (also no baby daddy drama - not involved). We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol she actually loves dogs too, we used to have a beagle and theyd play fight and snuggle up together :) so cute! Anyhoo, I'm looking another person to get a house together, preferably a guy. Obviously we will have to apply for houses so you'd clearly need to be approved on that to live there lol You also must be reliable and pay rent on time, respectful of privacy, the property and of other peoples things, work fulltime and have a stable income, funny, preferably single and around similar age. What is especially important is that you behave appropriately around my son. He needs a good male role model who knows how to respect women etc. I'd prefer a house rather than a unit. It'd be cool if it had a deck and nice yard and maybe even a pool !?! :D (u can be the pool boy lol) and undercover parking (lock up garage) would be ideal :) I have all the furniture already, big leather lounge, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, dryer, foxtel (priorities people!) lol and then plates cups blah blah blah :) you'd only need your bedroom stuff really :) I'd also be super keen for a few drinks on a friday or Saturday night to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) I looooove cooking and literally make the best caramel tarts you'll ever eat (i have references for this lol), im pretty easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So you'd definitely have to be funny, easy going, down to earth and be able to take a joke lol I love going to the drive in movies, bowling, to the park and the beach and would really love to get a puppy! So if you've already got a dog that's good with kids that'd be so awesome! Anyway, if you're genuinely interested and not just looking for sex, send me a text and we could set up a time to meet to see how we get along :) Hope to hear from you soon :) Ps. NO time wasters. Only serious potential housemates please :) Thanks :)

Hi, I'm Nana I'm from Japan n 21 years old. I've been here for 8 months on Working Holiday. I'm friendly tidy n responsibility. I like to play sports, go out, go to the beach n talk with people. I would like to get along with flatmates.
Hi Everyone, I am 26, moved to Brisbane about a year ago due to work. I am originally from Melbourne but I have decided to stay in Brisbane for another couple of years. I am an engineer and work the usual office hours Monday to Friday. My current lease is ending Jan 20ish and naturally I am looking for a new place that I will enjoy living in with housemate/s who I will get along with. Preferably I would like to live with housemates of a similar age (mid to late 20s.) I am hoping to lock in a place for 2017 sooner rather than later. I am a sociable person, always enjoy meeting new people and expanding my network. I would prefer to stay with housemates that are similar to myself i.e. tidy, friendly, reliable and easy going. The type of people that I can have a drink with on the weekend. I don't mind housemates having friends over, just not if they are going to keep me awake in the graveyard hours of a weeknight. I generally like to be busy and productive doing things, very rarely will you find me wasting away in front of the TV. I clean up after myself and don't leave dirty dishes lying around. Although sharehouses, are what they are, I do try give somewhat more of a homely feel about the place. You will often find me in the kitchen cooking up something interesting. I do enjoy cooking, but at the same time kinda cbf cooking for one every night. Would be happy to share cooking with others (love Italian and asian food) I don't own any pets, however, I do like cats and dogs and wouldn't be against living with either. Interests: cooking, keeping active, bike riding, running, exploring and travel, herb garden, markets, new restaurants, reading, keeping busy, doing nothing, beach, nights on the town (not every weekend) I am currently trying to save for a house so would like to cap my rent expenses to around $180ish + bills per week. If you think that we will get along and our requirements match then give me a buzz or shoot through a message.
Hi guys, I am currently 24 years old turning 25 soon. I am working full time at the Queensland University of Technology but hoping to study full time next year/working part time if it all works out. I currently live in Nundah and my current lease runs out on the 31/01/2017 and needing to find a new place then. I am living with a few friends but needing a change. I am big into anything health and fitness related - I love sports, I am easy going, really chilled and prefer my own space at times. I also consider myself a quite tidy person and like to live in a clean environment. I also don't mind having a few drinks from time to time. My parents are from Cambodia but I am New Zealand born residing in Brisbane coming up to two years in February.
Hi, My name is Caitlyn and I work in the city as a Pharmacy Technician. I'm 22 and am currently working full time while I study online. My current lease is ending and I need a place to live while I work out my next move. Because of this I'm not sure how long I'll be in brisbane but I will have at LEAST a months notice before I leave so I can guaruntee you'll have a lot of notice before I leave. I've been living in shared accommodation for over 4 years and I've never had any bad experiences. I've been really lucky and I've always gotten along with the people i move in with really well. I'm fairly easygoing and I love meeting new peole. I'm happy to provide personal or professional references for you if it would make you feel more comfortable. I love a good wine and chat after a long day but i'm a fairly quiet person. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Hoping to hear from you soon, Caitlyn Nester
Hi! My name is Rosie, I'm 21 and I am moving to Brisbane in January 2017 to start studying the Bachelor of Design at Griffith. I have been working in a high school Art Department in Hobart for the past 2 years, it was awesome fun but I'm looking forward to doing the uni thing! I am great to live with because: I always pay my rent/bills on time, I clean up after myself and I like being around people but am also fine doing my own thing In my free time I love drawing and making little arty things, relaxing in general, watching Netflix and going to the gym... Basically I just really like to be able to chill when I'm at home! I like chatting and hanging out, but I'll also need some space to study and draw :) I also love Harry Potter, cats, dogs and most nerdy things
Easy going male, 27, clean and respectful. In full time employment working for Marine Parks. Enjoy an active lifestyle, meeting new people and I am a keen surfer. Just moved to Brisbane. Mid Jan move in date :) Thanks, Sam
Originally from the Sunshine coast. Currently studying Bachelor of Music at Griffith Conservatorium and work part time at a pizza shop. Love live music, photography and good food. Clean, friendly and definitely up for a chat in the kitchen
Hi there, I am a super clean 26 year old male. I work full time in an office job in the Valley. I am looking for a car park and my own bathroom. I can be both sociable and quiet (whatever suits ;). Happy to share a place with anyone else in their 20's or early 30's.
Moving to Brisbane or surrounds in early March from Tassie. I am very easy going, hard working and organised. I spend most of my time working, socialising or at the gym/keeping fit and spend very little time at home. I love to travel and often plan to go on adventures on my days off, love to meet new people and try new things. As a housemate, I am extremely respectful of personal space, being neat, tidy and reliable. I have a few friends in Brisbane, but am excited to make more and hoping to find either one or two awesome housemates who share the same interests as me! I am certainly not a party animal, but do love a social drink and love to cook!
Hi guys my name is Jayda I am 17yrs I turn 18 in October 2017 💁🏻❤️ I have lived out of home since 14yrs old so I am quite mature for my age. I am a full time college student studying beauty therapy I resume back at college on the 20/02/17 my study location is in Fortitude valley I am looking to try find accommodation as close to there as possible. I am in desperate need of stable accommodation in order to complete my studies. I am fun, I enjoy my own space at times like we all do. I am a quiet working guy. Bit of a geek with loads of hobbies . Dont really party but wont mind the occasional drink and good conversation. i pay my bills on time and am easy to talk to , i am clean and i respect other peoples privacy . I do need undercover parking at least . Lock up garage would be ideal i do smoke . only outside though so hopefully that's not a big issue. would really like to find a nice place with just one other person. i dont really have a preferred moving date. just have to give my current residence ample notice.
They say you're only as great as the company you keep and I have the most awesome Cavoodle... so by default, I'm pretty rad too :) I respect others space and belongings. I like chats at home over a few ciders and a delicious cook up. I'm a veteran at the share house thing, so I've learnt how to adapt and mix well with a diversity of personalities. I like a stylish yet chilled haven as my home is my sanctuary... go out to party, stay home to unwind.
Hey guys! My name is Maite, I'm working full time, training for triathlons, and volunteering as a lifesaver. When I'm not doing any of these, I like to relax at home, catch up with friends over coffees, food and/or movies:) Talk to you soon! M
Hi there! My name is Ramez (or Mez for short) and I'm a recently graduated intern Doctor starting work in 2017. As a housemate, I am a responsible, clean and considerate person; I understand the value of common courtesy that every flatmate deserves! I enjoy trying to balance my love for food (mainly eating, but also cooking) with fitness through outdoor sports, activities and gym. Having said that, who doesn't love binge watching a season or three of TV shows?
Hi there! My name is Michael and I am a full time student nearing the completion of my Bachelor. I am looking to join an existing sharehouse around the Kelvin Grove area while I finish off my studies. I like socialising but am respectful of other people's privacy. I love to cook, garden (lots of fresh herbs for cooking!) and wouldn't mind sharing meals. I would like to join a clean, quiet and friendly household where everyone helps to contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of common areas (because no one likes a messy housemate!) I would be looking at an unfurnished room so I can bring along my own furniture. I also have a lot of furniture for common areas such as leather couches, coffee tables, washer+dryer etc but I don't have to bring these along with me. Looking for a LGBT friendly household and preferably pet-friendly as I have a small black cat (but she doesn't have to come with me if pets aren't allowed). Shoot me a message if you think we would get along or if you need any more information :)!
I will be studying in UQ and I am finding a hostel or a shared house to live in. I am from Hong Kong and haven't been to Australia before so I would definitely love to explore the surroundings and hope I could meet some friends that would go with me! I love pets too even though I don't have one, especially corgi :D
My name is Roland (23), currently working at the Children's Hospital in South Brisbane. I'm currently commuting from the Gold Coast and need somewhere closer to stay. I'm very neat and tidy, friendly, non-smoker and keen to meet new friends.
I'm looking for a nice single room in a clean, beautiful and shared house where I can meet some great people and call the house my home :) I'm 26-year-old Polish programmer that works full-time in CBD and I'm all into sport after working hours :) I do my dishes on time and require it from others as well :) People say that I'm bubbly, however I find myself introvert - go figure! Hope to meet great people and a nice place! ;) Cheers, Krystian
Hey I'm Sanborn, I love my music, design and study. I am looking for quiet share accommodation, a private room preferably. I am quiet, respectful and clean and tidy. I am currently living on the North of Brisbane, I am looking to move closer to the City. Suburbs on the North would be suitable and also around South Brisbane. If you have a room please message me anytime. I also don't mind a good chat, you can never take life too seriously
"She's sweet. Funny. A good roommate." - Jemima, 2014* "She's not a psychopath" - Arnold, 2013* "Looks like it's going to rain. Better bring your washing in" - Mum, 2016* *All quotes are true, names have been changed, but the people are real, although they may or may not have said these things loosely during off the record conversations. Happy to pay up to $250 dollar bills a week for: A private room of my own in a nice relatively new or renovated place with a yard/area appropriate for playing fetch. Ideally, I'd prefer my own bathroom. Happy to share a bathroom if it's with one other clean person. Sorry, but this gal is too old to share a bathroom with 2+ people or a house with 4+. Learn a bit more about me below. And, ya know, hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan, this is(n't) Stan. What makes me great to live with? Well... I rinse out the chux when I've finished cleaning the dishes that I haven't left sitting on the sink for 1+ days. I love cooking for others and sitting down to a nice meal with glass of red. Sometimes the glass of red is the nice meal. Don't judge. I believe pretty firmly that garlic bread is life. Don't worry, I'm not a total slob-kebob. I meal prep, eat relatively clean and go to the gym in the hopes that someday I will have that #summerbod everyone keeps going on about. Plus it supposedly prolongs life. Fun fact: I'm a decent human who understands the concept of personal space so won't go looking through your room/things. Funner fact: This is probably because I'm too lazy and would much rather watch Netflix. Funniest fact: Funner isn't a word. Saving the best bit for last - I have a sidekick by the name of Duke Nukem; a nearly 2 yr old teeny 3kg mini fox x pinscher rescue pup who is a ball of energy one moment and passed out the next. He's quiet, but has barked at the wind (or ghosts) once or twice. He can also hop 3-4 feet in the air, generally because he's curious to see what's on your dinner plate on the table. He means well and I'm sure you'll love him nearly as much as he'll love you. We're a rad pair looking for equally, if not more so, rad people to make a home with in the new year. I know I said 2016 was gonna be my year, but I've got a reeeeeally good feeling about 2017. What makes you so great to live with? Well... I'm hoping you're a positive / emotionally stable person, who prides yourself on paying bills before they're due, are kind and laid back 90% of the time, are down for a good laugh and great conversation, and if you eat my food you really mean it when you say you'll replace it. Bonus points if you've got a pooch of your own who is open to making a new puppy pal. If ever you're out of town, I'm happy to feed and love the little puppa, and I hope if ever I'm out of town, you'll do the same :)
Looking for a place to call my home. I'm quiet, easy going and keep to myself, although I don't mind an occasional drink on the weekend. I like to listen to music, but I have headphones if its too loud. If you would like to live with me please let me know.
I am smooth going guy, focusing mainly on education. I would like to have a single room with attached bathroom. I pretty much spend most of the time in UNI. I don't smoke neither drink,, but can catch up for a glass of wine for a pleasureful week ends. I cook mostly Indian dishes and Italian. I am also kind of back packers who would like to explore around and roam around the places...
Hey guys! I'm looking for a fellow housemate that can help me devour the seventeen serves of spaghetti I just made without a single complaint. See I have a bit of an overkill habit with food and typically make enough to serve an army (every damn time). I work as a Food Manager (I should have my serving sizes under control by now), am friendly, hilarious, social, and always down to get out of the house or have a couple of drinks. I'm easy going, clean, enjoy (love) cooking and love (really really love) pets! I'm always up for a chat and a laugh and hoping to find someone to help me eat my copious amounts of food. I'm available to move now and would like to do so ASAP! Looking for a place in the Northside area - particularly Nundah. Disclaimer: Large amounts of food is not limited to spaghetti.
I am an easy going and friendly individual. I am originally from Manchester, UK. I enjoy reading, shopping, going out, travelling and watching netflix. I like to live in a tidy and clean environment and think everyone should just tidy up after themselves!
My friend, Alice, and I are in the process of looking for a new place in Brisbane's inner suburbs and would like to find a third person to share with. We are both 23 - I'm working full time and studying after hours and Alice has just finished her degree and is about to start full time work. We're clean and tidy, easy to get along with and non-smokers. We'll be pretty low key, as far as housemates go, during the week and we don't mind an adventure (or a drink or 2) on the weekends! We both have pretty active and social lifestyles and tend to spend a fair bit of time out of the house. I have a little dog (she's a 1-year-old maltese pomeranian) - we live with a cat at the moment and they get along fine so if you have pets too, don't let that put you off! We haven't found a place yet but we're looking at (reasonably modern) apartments, townhouses and houses close to the city. We'd also like to be near a train station and close to nice cafes, restuarant, parks etc. in a good area. We're happy to find the place on our own or for you to join the search! At this stage, we're hoping to move before the end of the year. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, or you want to know anything more, please send me a message :) Megan
Hi there! My name is Erinn originally from Australia but have been living and working in Los Angeles + travelling a bit of Asia/Europe for the past couple years. Returning back home to Australia to study/work in January. I am easy going, respectful, social and get along with everyone. :)
Hi I'm Haidee Leigh I'm a young working professional working at Griffith University. I am looking for my own private space with a secure car space close to work, or a shortwalk to the bus way. I'm very clean and respectful like my own space, so I respect your privacy too. I do love a laugh and a chat too, I love hiking and road trips on the weekends to enjoy my days off work.
I'm an international student from India and have been living in Adelaide for the past three years. I will be moving to Brisbane in February 2017 for my postgraduate study at UQ. I'm looking for friendly and easy going people to share a house with. I'm fun-loving, interactive and easy to live with.I also enjoy having some quiet me time from time to time.
Hi I'm alex from dallas Texas have a car, job and kitten and I plan to settle in Brisbane. Im clean and friendly and respectful. Open minded and happy
I am from Barcelona and love to sit on a terrace, have chats with colleagues with a glass of wine or a bitter ale. I expect to have a rather close relationship with my housemates. I am quite relaxed in most aspects of life (except with coffee and olive oil) and appreciate respect for diversity in general. If I had money I would do some lindy hop courses. If I could go back in time I would have learnt to play acordeon. I have medierranean roots, so I love exaggeration and drama, as much as I love laughing at everything in life. I arrive the 18th January to Brisbane. I would be interested in an initially two weeks rent, and then possibly a permanent location.
I'm a software engineer working in the city. I enjoy cycling to work, being social, being active, eating healthy (ish), cooking/eating foreign food. Dabble in a little sketching/painting occasionally. Love boardgames and will clean bathrooms and toilets!
I'm a 23 year old recent UQ graduate. I'm moving from the Gold Coast to Brisbane and hoping to live with people my age who will hopefully become good friends as I don't know too many people in Brisbane. I'm neat, tidy and considerate. I'm not much of a partier but enjoy the odd drink and social event!
I am in my late 20s and have recently graduated. I like to keep it to myself most of the times and also respect others privacy, but that certainly doesn't mean that I am not up for a chat sometimes. A non smoker, not quite a party person and yes, NOT pet friendly either. I like to keep the house clean but not too finicky, so a relaxed person to stay with. I like to cook and happy to share the food(eat it at your own risk though :D). Looking for a place to share with no more than two people.
Me and my blue heeler dog Belle have teamed up with another couple and are currently in the process of inspecting and applying for houses. We are after a fourth person as most of the places we are looking at have four bedrooms! Me: Relocating from Melbourne but originally from Qld. Working full time in Redcliffe next year at the hospital. Enjoy a glass of wine on a balcony in the afternoon, a solid Netflix night and watching First Dates and going out for cocktails or brunch. Clean but not pedantic. Keen on paying a little bit extra for the main bedroom due to my ridiculous wardrobe quantity :). Louis & Vihangi: Young couple from Melbourne originally relocating to Brisbane. Vihangi attending University of Queensland. Louis working in Brisbane CBD. Keen on a bedroom and an extra room for a study. Belle: One year old blue heeler dog. Loves everyone. Free for walks at any time. Most of the places we are thinking of applying for are in Windsor, Gordon Park or Hendra. A male would be good to even out the genders but not essential. Someone between the ages of 23-32ish would fit in well :).

Hi my name is Kavian and I am from Stockholm, Sweden. I've been here in Brisbane for almost 4 month now. I am here on a long term secondment and work full time as an Auditor in CBD area. I am going to stay here in Brisbane for minimum 1 year and looking for a flat close to the city and can commit for long term lease. I am very easy going and love to have people around me. I love to travel and meet new people and thought this would be a great way to get to know ppl. Apart from Stockholm, i've also lived in London and Hong Kong so I am used to have flat mates. When I'm not in the office, I like to spend my time at the wrestling club and hang out with my friends. Also, I like to cook and won't say no to a glass of red wine :) At the moment, I live in New Farm and really like the area here, but I would also like to live in CBD, the Valley or West end. I am easy to get along with, clean and tidy and respect peoples privacy. Don't hesitate to reach out if you want to team up or have a room available in the area I am looking for.
I'm originally from the UK, over here on a working holiday visa until February so I would be looking for somewhere until then. I'm currently working in the CBD for an insurance company. Wanting to find a fully furnished private room, ideally within 30mins walk of the city.
Hi! I'm Maddy and I'm an RN at the RBWH. So if you hurt yourself, I'm a great roomie 👌🏼 Looking to hopefully move at the end of February/start of march. Would like to stay in close proximity to the hospital and if there are some other Royal/Charlies nurses out there keen to get a place together that would be great! I'm a neat and tidy person who loves to cook and bake (brownies, cookies, you name it) and loves a good cheese platter and wine. (Usually I do it by myself, but with friends is better #singlelife) I know how to be quiet, but also don't mind having a chat and a laugh on the couch in my pj's eating pizza. If you haven't worked it out by now, I really enjoy food. Oh and I don't smoke. My prerequisites for a new place would that I get the garage/undercover car space and potentially my own bathroom if it is more than 2 bedrooms, but I'm not picky, as long as you're neat and tidy! If you're looking to move at this time, chuck me a message!
Move date in January** I am a full time nurse working shift work hours. I am super laid back, tidy, outgoing and respectful of house mates. love a wine or two and hoping to meet housemates who are like minded :) prefer the master bedroom if possible!
