Hi there, My name is Ryan and I am looking for a new place to call home. Currently I have been living in a big modern house on the north side of Brisbane for the last 5 years. I have been the head tenant with most of the responsibility, and own most of the furniture. Our lease is coming up shortly, and I would like to move somewhere more central, whilst not paying an incredible amount of rent. Hoping to pay less than $220/week including bills. I am open to teaming up with someone to move into a town house or finding a nice granny flat etc too. I am looking to live with either 1, or max 2 other people. I can also provide furniture and appliances (couches, fridge, washing machine, microwave, plates, bowls, pots and pans, cutlery, dining table, chairs, desk, Balinese furniture, outdoor table, other appliances etc), but if not that's ok too as I can simply sell or store them elsewhere. I have a very well trained, friendly 10 year old male maine coon cat who I would love to bring with me. He is mostly a lazy indoor cat, likes his sleep and doesn't mind other furry friends. We are best of buddies and have been through a lot together, and it would be great to live with people who would also enjoy the company of a mini tiger :) I have recently been working as a warehouse assistant, and also study business and IT on the side. I also receive government help as I do have a disability, which would not affect my ability to live with someone else independently. I am hoping to find something relaxed with little to no dramas, judgements or arguments. A place with a decent sized room, air conditioning (just for the hot periods, and not necessarily in the room itself). My cat is used to wandering outside for the odd walk around the yard so I would also prefer to live somewhere that has a backyard/courtyard. I am the kind of guy who is social with his housemate/s, but can also as easily keep to myself. I would prefer to live with friendly, supportive people who don't take living situations too seriously. I am indeed responsible, respectful, caring, open, very clean (dislike mess), honest, and reliable. What I am not into is drinking copious amounts of alcohol (the odd glass of spirits is ok), smoking (but do not mind if you do smoke), or constant partying. These days I am more into social events, lots of exercise and the gym, self development, watching a good movie, meditation, reading, gardening, nature or heading to the beach. I am also vegan. If you like the sound of me, please send me a message as I am keen to find my next long-term house mate/s and home to be. I have not provided my mobile number as I would prefer to build rapport over message first, and then chat on the phone :) Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you, Ryan
Hey! I am from Turkey, 26 years old and a PhD at UQ. I am looking for a furnished room in a clean and tidy house (no shared room). Preferable min 3 months and max 6 months stay. I will be able to move in the middle of February but dates can be arranged for the right room and flatmates. I don't smoke and I don't have any pets. If you have a spare room let me know :)
Hi Future housemate. Thank you for taking the time to check this out. I recently moved back to Brisbane from Melbourne late last year and looking for a apartment to call home! About me, I'm 29 year old gay , i work in the city in the insurance industry Monday to Friday normal business hours. I'm a clean, fun, DTE, sociable professional looking to share a place with someone. I want to live in a place where we can feel comfortable coming home and being ourselves instead of strangers. Mind you i do like my personal time also however i also like a good banter, champagne, cheese and wine occasionally. I am also open to finding an apartment with the right person if it comes to that. Weekends for me are usually with family & friends, eating, shopping , tanning and swimming and doing other adventurous things. Life is to short not to see the world. Anyway- that's about it. Any Questions give me Hoy. Cheers
I am a 27 year old female working professional. Always happy to have a chat. I enjoy sports, boxing and traveling in my free time. I visit my little cousins a minimum of twice a month hence you will prolly have the apartment to yourself on the weekends. I am pretty relaxed and easy-going and I keep the communal areas clean. I am a non-smoker and a Singaporean by birth.. Yes english is my first language too.. I am not too much of a party goer but happy to company you if you require a wingwomen ;)
We are moving over to Brisbane from Ireland in February on a working holiday visa. I will be working full time as a nurse and Dave will be working in IT. We are very clean, friendly and respectful housemates. We are both outgoing and love meeting new people but also love time to ourselves.
Hi I'm Andy I'm looking for temporary accommodation, at this stage. I work full time, professional. Clean, respectful, social, considerate. Time frame would be between now and April, I return from a holiday in Europe early April. Have a great day!
Hi! I am a busy 31-year-old female professional working and studying at uni part-time. I've gone back to uni for a second time to pursue a career change and I'm graduating at the end of 2018, so I'm looking for a share for the coming year, or for a shorter period (e.g. six months or nine months) depending on what you may have available. A little more about me: - Fitness enthusiast that loves keeping fit; - Quiet, non-drinker, non-smoker... partying days are long behind me! - Away most weekends studying and visiting family; - Enjoys Netflix, travelling and running when I have the odd bit of spare time; - Tidy, clean, reliable, mature, respectful of others' personal space and privacy - I'm also happy to help take care of any plants or a pet that you might have. - Loves cats and is happy to live in a place with a cat or cats (don’t mind dogs but not really a dog lover). My budget is $220 per week (inclusive of bills), but I can be a little flexible around this if you are closer in to the CBD. More than anything though I'm looking for the right person. I understand that finding the right flatmate can be stressful (we've all been there) so I’m keen to find someone with similar personality and interests, and someone doesn't mind that I might not be around very much except for evenings - if you don't mind a fairly independent flatmate, I just might be for you. In return, I’ll be a helpful and tidy housemate who you can rely on :) What I'm looking for - - trustworthy and mature flatmate who is preferably of similar age, but anyone with a sensible outlook is okay; - furnished bedroom (study desk is a bonus); - someone who also prefers a non-party house; - ideally close to public transport, but I don’t mind walking a distance for a good express bus or train; - someone who is understanding of my schedule and doesn't mind having an independent flatmate rather than one who is home a lot - anyone who is studying and working as well I would love to hear from! Please note - I do require a furnished bedroom with a bed, as all of my things are in storage. I can't accept offers for unfurnished rooms at the current time. Sorry, also no outer suburbs please as I need to keep my commute time down). Please also note: I am taking a break from real estate agents so I am not looking to either sign on to a lease or take over a lease, apologies. Please feel free to ask any questions if you'd like to know more!

Hi there! My names Darcy, I’m from the country and I’ll be 18 in March. I’ll be studying visual art and creative writing at QUT this year, so I’m looking to live somewhere near Kelvin Grove. Anywhere from where I can walk to and from the campus, or take public transportation would be great! I’m a clean, relaxed and respectable person that really loves music and everything about it, as well as art and exploring new places. I also like to watch lots of different films and have a good time that ends in good laughs. I do smoke cigarettes on occasion, however, I prefer to smoke away from people and outside, so I hope that won’t be a bother.
I'm a student at Griffith University studying master of marketing. I'm open minded, clean, friendly, and social. I cook the best grilled meat ever and I love camping, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, dirt biking, kitesurfing, and occasionally nightouts. I always try to eat as healthy as possible and I exercise regularly.
Hi, I'm Mel! I work part-time in health and am currently studying a post graduate degree. I work shift work so I am at home at random times! On my days off I enjoy playing a bit of music, adventuring to a waterfall or the markets or having a cheeky beverage and going out for a bit of a boogie. I am tidy, but appreciate sharing the workload of keeping the house clean. I've lived in share houses before and know what it's like to have people not pull their weight! I am looking for housemates in similar age who are respectful and don't mind socialising over a drink on the weekend. I would prefer to live with no more than 3 other housemates with at least one other female. I am looking for a lease of 6 months or less as I will be travelling overseas in July!
Hi there! I'm a medical student from Toronto and have just moved to Brisbane to study at UQ. I'm social and outgoing but also respect privacy and space. I enjoy sports, fitness, food, and a good conversation! I don't drink or smoke (sort of health obsessed because you know... medical student). Would love to meet new people and explore beautiful Brisbane!
Hey! Looking for a place asap furnished and modern as I'll have all my house belongings in storage. Something with a spa and gym would be good but not to picky. Looking for a short stay 4-5 weeks at this stage may stay long term. Thanks
My name is Amber and I am from New Zealand. I work full time for as a travel agent and love to travel. Having owned my own home and having flat mates I know how lovely it is to have someone who respects the living areas and leaves it tidy. When I am not working or at the gym, I love to bake and this usually includes a lot of chocolate, if you dont mind me baking I dont mind sharing. I like to have a good chat, dinner and maybe a drink but usually I like to relax on my days off and dont mind people to their own devices when they need it.
We are all reliable and respectful men, and I believe we can be quite humorous and enjoyable to live with. We are from the Sunshine Coast and are looking for accommodation as a means to study at QUT Gardens Point. We have all applied and since been accepted into our diverse set of courses. Riley is doing a Bachelor of Engineering/ IT Brandon is doing a Bachelor of Law/ Business Trevor is doing a Bachelor of Science As our chosen courses infer, we are all fairly intelligently inclined and looking to pursue successful careers. As mentioned before we are all very easy to get along with and an enjoyable bunch to live with. All of us take pleasure from getting out of the house, playing sports and versing each other in the occasional computer game.
Hi, I'm Brazilian, 25 yo, and I'm looking for a single room in somewhere near the city. I'm tidy, very clean and I'm studying interior design on Tafe.
I'm great to live with because I'm clean and tidy, equally happy keeping to myself or chilling with others, a good cook, and I like people. I've travelled fairly widely, and have lived in Japan and Europe, so I'm comfortable with all sorts of folks. I work casually and study full-time, so I won't be in anyone's way, either. :)
Hey! My name is Darcy, 22, working full time at Flight Centre in the city. I am looking to move in around the 31 January, a friendly comfortable home to relax. I spend a lot of my time up at the Sunshine Coast and I've just started getting into this working out thing so I'm not home a lot, but when I am I like pop corn, netflix, wines.. The usual. Let me know if this may suit you! Thanks
