We want to start a new share house ! I am NOT interested in renting a room anywhere, so please do not offer !! I'm currently in a 3-bedroom house with someone renting a room, and I'd like to explore options for when my lease expires in September and I am not sure if my current housemate would want to move with me. I want to start a houseshare, where we look at houses together, sign a lease together and share the house and not just rent a room. I come with my English Pointer cross and a few bicycles. All of us live inside :) I have furniture and whitegoods for a house, and bedroom furniture for myself and a spare/guest room. But we can always adjust what goes in. I'll be looking at areas near the beach between Henley and Brighton, also along the southern foothills maybe(Mitcham, Panorama...) This is not the search for an option to live super cheap, rather to get more bang for your buck. So a decent house in good condition with enough space for everyone to not be on top of each other. 2 bathrooms, a spare room, spacious living areas. Someone should be willing to spend $200-$250 plus expenses, so that we can get something nice. Obviously there needs to be a yard for the dog with good fencing. A doggie companion for her would be perfect. I'm 40 (but refuse to grow up), work fulltime in the city, love cycling and triathlon, don't mind the odd drink, I'm not a health-nut and enjoy my creature comforts. I do like it tidy in the common areas (kitchen and bathroom especially). My dog Zara is a bit shy at first, but nothing that can't be resolved with treats, and she is really a big sook!. She doesn't want to live in a party house, too many loud noises scare her ;), and she's also not used to kids, so I am looking for single people or couples only. My current house is pretty good but not quite perfect, so I want to keep my eyes open for the ideal housemate/house. If I find that, I would also consider breaking my lease here.
Hi, I'm a 23 year old student currently in my masters. I'm undertaking placement in Adelaide. Incredibly easy going,
Coffee professional. I will be a great addition to any house that enjoys caffeine. Work full time in Stirling, and have very active life outside of work between dance classes, theatre rehearsals, and hospitality events.
Hey my name is Jay, I was born and raised in Adelaide and I am 24 years old. I am a Social Worker currently working as a school counsellor. I also work casually in child care and occasionally run wine tours. I am easy going, clean and organised, love to cook and share great food (I have a waffle maker!) with others and I love coffee and wine. Happy to live with men and/or women and don't mind if you want to invite friends/family over. As I work a lot you won't see me much during the days but I do like to chill out at night and not do much. Enjoy spending time with others but also love my alone time. My move in date is flexible however I definitely won't be ready to move till late June/early July 2017.
Hi, I am a full time worker in the city looking for a place that has two rooms available (so that i can have a bedroom and living space) or with someone willing to split a three bedroom place. I do have a cat, he is very well behaved and has his own scratching post so no worries about destroyed furniture. I am a very good cook and am happy to split meals and such :) My hobbies include random Sunday drives, beach walks and reading. * I likely can not move until July but am sussing out some places now
Hi my name is Mattea, I'm a 26 year old Dietitian, working at the Repat Hospital and studying at Flinders Uni. Looking for a room close by. Non-smoker, no pets. Im fairly easy going and clean. Prefer a furnished room but flexible with this.
I'm considerate and generous, but in no way a door mat. I'm easy to get along with because I have many interests. I'm a huge nerd so expect comic books, video games (PC & Xbox One), and board games (think Catan). I will, on occassion, watch the A-League or EPL depending on how my teams are going. I have a hard drive with 1000+ movies so always up for a movie night. Don't mind a bit of a TV binge either (Netflix). Happy to share what's mine because I know you'll take care of it. I enjoy cooking, usually trying new things, and like to cook for others. A nice, big kitchen is preferable for that reason, some recipes can become quite elaborate! Recently gotten into growing my own herbs and vegetables so I would like a place where I can continue that. I'm as liberally minded as they come but not a part of the far-left. Don't expect political correctness. I have no problems at all with any nationality or sexuality, but all religions grind my gears. The areas I selected are purely based on NBN accessibility. This is a must for me. I'm not keen on house parties but enjoy social drinks. Always mindful of my flatmates. Just finished a BSc and applied for honours. Otherwise, I'm a freelance graphic designer picking up work whenever I can. I don't have a problem with smokers, as long as they keep it outside, weed also. No hard drugs though. I'm single. I don't care if you have a partner, but I expect all duties and expenses to be shared commensurately. I'm very easy to live with. I'm drama free and intend to stay that way.
We're Jasper and Kai. We're both nonbinary and queer students and activists. Kai is a writer/freelancer part-time. Although we both have limited energy, we're kind and considerate humans who really value creating a queer family/chosen family environment, communicating openly, and being there for one another. Jasper's specialties are sound advice and being hilariously cynical, and Kai's are empathy and baking things (wheat free, but still). We're looking to start a sharehouse in the area surrounding Flinders Uni, as that's where Jasper attends uni (Kai's program is online). We'd also be open to joining a pre-existing sharehouse. We need to apply places quickly since our lease ends at the beginning of June. (We are able to stay at our current sharehouse a few more weeks, but need to move ASAP.) Since we're both chronically ill and introverted, our ideal housemate would also lead a low-key lifestyle. We also can't live with a cat, unfortunately, since we're both allergic, but other animals are great! Another thing to know is that we own a couch, coffee table, washing machine, fridge, bed, and our own bedroom furniture. If you have any questions and/or think we might work well as housemates, please reach out. We're not saying to find us on Facebook or the Queer Housing Adelaide page, either. We're just saying, if you tried, you probably could.
We're old friends who are all studying at flinders university and we're looking to move in together!! We'd prefer to live as close to flinders university as possible but are willing to consider the surrounding suburbs of Bedford Park too. Preferably we would like to pay around $250 rent a week but are willing to consider stretching our nudget to $300 tops. We have one dog who is house trained, friendly and not very energetic (its always sleeping) - so they won't be a problem (the dog is a staffy). We're happy with a two or three bedroom house as shania and shannon are partners and plan to share a room - whatever is cheapest (we're uni students!!). Please feel free to message us for any questions.

Hello I am Ayaka from Japan and a student at Flinders Uni. I am looking for a clean and furnished room where close to city and Uni. My budget is up to 160 (including bills ) per week. I am a very neat and tidy and outgoing person :） 0412 695 388 looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
Resonably quiet, easy going person. I enjoy my own space but also enjoy other peoples company. I work a lot, with early starts so I'm looking for someone who doesn't stay up all night on weeknights. I sometimes get sent to site for lengths of time too.
I am a full time student and spend most of my time studying, volunteering, or resting. I'm a respectful and friendly introvert; I will happily help around the house and chat over some food, but also respect and appreciate personal space. I'm comfortable living with either pets or no pets, and generally pretty easy going.
Quite working guy looking for a furnished room. * Quite room especially at night; * Closed to public transport & supermarket will be nice; * Parking space is a plus;
Hey dudes (and dudettes). I am working a full time (permanent position), from 8am till 4pm five days a week. Very easy to get a long with and quite cruisy majority of the time. Do enjoy hanging out with mates most weekends and also relaxing either playing games, listening to some tunes or watching movies. I am a very clean person and take pride in being this way. Hoping to find some people who share similar ideals and interests as myself to create or join in to a pretty groovy household.
I am a consulting engineer / manager professional that is transferring to Adelaide CBD for work. I travel to Melbourne and Sydney regularly for work and I will head home on some / most weekends. I grew up in country Victoria and I enjoy meeting new like minded people. I am pretty handy for odd jobs around the house. I have a car but would be happy walking or using public transport to get to work.
I'm a very quiet tenant who is full-time employed at an engineering company and I'm involved in a number of community organisations. I'm very socially engaged and have a very wide and extensive group of friends that I visit however rarely have over. I like watching old movies, listening to old music, and reading old books (there's a pattern there) but I'm very interested in new things and look forward rather than backward. I'm open minded on social issues and enjoy a good belly laugh. I try and keep myself in good condition though I am susceptible to a nice shiraz. A great day for me is breakfast at a nice cafe and a walk or swim at the beach. My life is an open book so if you'd like to know something then just ask me. I'm looking for long term accommodation however never say never. Please note I am not looking for share house accommodation.
My name is Ellie and I'm a media student working bar in a nightclub and I have my own radio show! I'm 21 years old and looking for a place south, east or west of the city. i'd be happy with male or female housemates but looking for a large room to fit a queen bed! I have no pets and no plan to get any soon though I do love dogs. I can provide as much or as little furniture as needed as I've just moved out of the apartment I was living in in North Adelaide. I've lived in adelaide since I was 12 years old and I'm originally from the UK. As I work weekends and weekday nights I'm not a party goer but super casual about housemates; wouldn't care if you love or hate to party! I'm happy to split and share all things or the opposite. Mainly looking to team up with 1 or 2 people and find our own place. Like to chill out with friends, watch a movie and have a glass of wine on nights i'm not working. Happy to provide references from old housemates or landlords if required.
Honest, trustworthy, hard working and super clean young man that has lived in Mitcham most of my life. Went to Scotch college and am very familiar with the area. Always willing to help out and contribute as much as possible to keep a positive living environment.
Hi there for anyone that's interested my name is Adam tucker I completed year 12 last year, I am about to turn 19 I'm currently living with my grandma in Belair and would like to move into a new place asap. I do have rental history, am always reliable on playing rent and tend to keep to myself a bit but also know how to have a good time
Hi there potential roomie! I am currently looking for a roommate who is interested in a team up or to become a roommate of someone who has a place within 15 minutes of Hyde Park/Goodwood. The essentials: I am clean, organised, and reliable. I will pay rent and bills promptly. I have a maximum budget of $150 per week for rent and will go up to $170 if it includes internet. I have said I am free to move in on the 12th of June, but happy to move in before that date. About me: - I currently work full time as a barista on King William Road (free tea/coffee is on the cards!), whilst also studying a Bachelor of Education and Languages at Flinders University. - Non-smoker and not a heavy drinker. - I'm extroverted and like to get out as much as possible but very partial to chilling on the couch binge-watching series' on Netflix or some good ol' Masterchef (aka food porn show). - I currently have an indoor cat who literally does nothing but sleep all day, but she can live with my mum if you are not interested in pets. - I love to cook and bake, and happy to cook big meals to share! Like walking into the house with that glorious baking smell? I'm your girl! What I would like in a housemate: I am hoping to not just live with someone, but also become friends. Anyone who is fun, chilled out, and tidy would be lovely. If you're fitness orientated that would also be fantastic but not an issue if not. Lastly, someone who will not be discriminatory to me as I am vegan. If you're interested, message me and we can meet up over coffee :)
I'm currently studying childcare and hope to go onto teaching next year at Adelaide Uni. I'm friendly and outgoing but also quiet and respectful of personal space.
