Hello! My name is Hannah, and I am a 23-year-old university student. I am moving from Sydney to start a degree at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University in February 2018. I am looking for a private room to rent for the duration of my three-year course: preferably a share house within walking distance of the Con's Burke Street Studios in Woolloongabba. I am friendly and outgoing, but I also like my down time. I am very neat and like to keep my space clean and tidy at all times. It is extremely important to me that I contribute to household chores and do my bit to maintain a happy and harmonious living environment! I would love to meet some likeminded females who are looking for a tenant to move in around late January. If this is you, please feel free to contact me! I look forward to meeting you. :)
I'm in desperate need of an all female house (private bedroom) under $180 including all bills and rent, I have been looking for ages now and have had no luck so here it goes :) I'm Melanie, 21 years young, I work part time in Brisbane City and this will be my first time moving out of home however I'm independent, considerate and friendly. I can assure you that bills and rent will be paid on time and I do respect people's privacy. I was born in Brisbane ( Mater Mothers like most Brisbane Babies haha) and have lived here all my life. My cultural background is Sri-Lankan & Indian and I don't know any other language except English :) Please please please do consider me as a flatmate, I'd love to meet up for coffee and chat about the details etc:) P. S I'm not a drinker or a smoker :)
High school teacher and traveller who loves a laugh and a glass of red wine. Despite the large collection of cookbooks, am a terrible cook and usually resort to making some form of eggs for dinner. Previous housemates in London are now brilliant friends... hoping the luck will continue back home in Brisbane. Looking for a large room to cater for a desk, as well as some natural sunlight!
Hey! I am a 23 year old UQ student and bartender who is hopeful to create a comfortable and friendly home. I have a massive love for music, film and reading, and I enjoy the odd casual beer! I play guitar and sing in a couple of small bands and practice at home on my own on occasion, but I keep it within reasonable hours and at a respectful volume. If it's ever a problem, tell me to shut up and I'll happily comply. :) despite this, I spend most of my time either at uni, working or studying. I am clean and respectful, and I enjoy taking a bit of time out of daily life to be sociable. Hope to hear from you!
Hey there! My name is Brooke, I have been living in Brisbane for just over a year now. Due to some unforseeable circumstances my handsome little cat and i are looking for somewhere to live that is close to public transport. I am a 22-year-old female, employed and tidy. I would like to think I'm a friendly + social person and I love to have a drink after work but also understand that alone time is important too! I'm also pretty laid back and incredibly open minded. my cat is a 3-year-old, friendly ragdoll who is desexed, vaccinated, flead monthly and litter-trained. We hope that you will consider us as potential roomies (:
I'm Nick, I'm 24 years old and finishing my engineering degree at UQ this semester and looking for a place to live. I'm pretty laidback and enjoy the occasional beer and chat but also like to have my own space and can respect yours. Cheers
Hello potential housemates! I’m a current third year university student at UQ, from the Sunshine Coast. I’ve lived in Brisbane for the past two years in share houses around the Yeronga area, so I have experience with sharing a living space with others. I have a 2 year old small dog named Barry who is fully trained and very obedient. He is an outside dog and is no fuss whatsoever. At the moment I’m looking for a place to call home for 6 months, but if all goes well I might be open to make this a more long term thing. Please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions. I look forward to hearing from you! (Move in date is negotiable)
Hi! I am currently a student at UQ taking my Masters in Animal Science. I am an Italian girl born and raised in Singapore. I love travelling and dancing salsa!
Hi my name is Matthew or Matt either is fine. I like to have fun but also when it is during study times I am really focused on my grades and I am conscious that other people will need time to study. I am a nice and easy going person but I am a bit shy at first but give me time and I won't be. I'm 21 turning 22 in May and I'm currently on exchange in America but will be arriving back into the county early to mid May. BTW the number that has been verified is only the number I am using here while in the United States the normal number you will be able to contact me but this won't be active until I get back into the country around May
Hi I’m Catarina, 22 years old and from Germany. I’m an open minded person and would love to meet new people !! I like to go to the beach and shopping on weekends, also sometimes to party :) but I’m also a very chilled person who love evenings with good talks, some snacks and Netflix! Back in Germany I have three dogs and miss them a lot, so if you have a pet it would be amazing and no problem! :) I’m looking for a room close to the inner city Brisbane and can’t pay more than 120$. I’m a backpacker at the moment and want to settle in Brisbane. I could move in around March
My name is Alexis (Lexi) and I’m a hard working professional that works a minimum of 8am-5,30pm weekdays but usually a lot more. I’m an energetic, happy and bubbly person who gets along with everyone. I’m very tidy and wouldn’t want to live with someone who doesn’t recognise that in themselves. I like my alone time a fair bit but also up for social stuff. Don’t drink but don’t mind or care if anyone else does. Usually down in Gold Coast on weekends since that’s where most of my friends are. Looking for easy going people to live with, either to get a nice pad together or if you have a place you love where you have a spot for me! *** I currently have a big 2 bedroom unit in Broadbeach Gold Coast which is completely furnished by me - so if there’s a woman out there without furniture who’s keen to find a place together - shoot me a message *** Let me know! Cheers
Aloha, my name is Chloe, I am 24 and oringally from Victoria. I’ve been travelling between tropical islands and ski resorts for the last 4/5 years so I can deal with having lots of people in a house and living on top of one another haha. Hospitality is my profession, I work full time in a fine dining restaurant in South Bank and usually am working anytime from noon until midnight. I can whip up cocktails for fam nights and pick out some killer wines and when drunk I can make some cool napkin shapes, but that’s where it stops! Im awful at cooking haha! I keep to myself during the week but I have most Sunday and mondays off and then I’m ready to do whatever! I am in a seriously committed relationship with Netflix and that’s about as much of a relationship I have haha! I would like some fun housemates but also respectful and don’t mind a few drinks but know the limitations when someone has work. I’ll be going on some snow trips in winter, if you’re an avid rider or want to learn this could be a dream! Ok the gritty: I ideally would like to pay around $200PW including bills but I’m flexible if it’s somewhere I like! I don’t mind going on a lease, but if not I would like something in writing about bond etc- I’ve just been a bit jerked around so it’s left a sour taste. No allergies to animals so if you have any pets HIT ME UP I am 100% happy to live with them! Preferably some internet hooked up, but if not I can sort that! Also somewhere furnished please! Happy to pay a little more as I said before for something furnished! Thanks again! Chloe
Hi there, I am currently working full time at an accounting firm located in Dutton Park. I also run my own business as a hobby on the side. Some of my favorite things I like to do are grab coffee, try new restaurants, travel and do a little bit of photography! I'm not a crazy party girl but don't mind a drink or some wine and cheese on a Friday.
My name is Phill. I work full time in Sumner and I'm more then capable to pay the rent and bills. I'm clean and tidy, easy going, active and love to socialise but also like my own space and reading books. I am looking for a room to rent where I can bring my 2 Labradors with me. They are both extremely friendly and well mannered and I would ensure that I always clean up after them. If that's something you'd allow with sufficient room in your backyard to accommodate them please get in touch. Thanks, Phill
Hi guys, I’m a full time paediatric nurse who had just relocated to Brisbane to start working at LCCH. Looking forward to meeting new people & seeing what Brisbane has to offer.
Easy going 28 year old. I am an outdoors kind of guy, my weekends are usually spent going out to the bush or beach, free diving, fishing, hiking and loads more. Currently I am living in Melbourne in an awesome share house with two awesome people. I love a clean and tidy house and look for easy going like minded people. I am moving up to Brisbane for work, to move into a sales management role and into the company head office. I am a talkative guy so message me and we can have a chat. Brenton.
Hello! I'm 18 and I will be starting a Bachelor of Advanced Science at UQ and need accommodation nearby. I am a little shy, so I tend to keep to myself. I love reading and binge watching TV shows. I also consider myself a bit of a neat freak.
Hi folks! I am looking for a place for my girlfriend who is 24 yo half Papuan/Australian, studying her last year at Uni, really artsy bubbly bundle of happiness. She loves getting decorative and creating beautiful clean spaces. She is on a meditation retreat atm so I am helping to try find her something for when she gets back in late Feb. I am also looking for a separate place with a backyard that can fit a 5m diameter canvas yurt in it. It is totally legal under Brisbane Council rules and would mean that everyone else would pay less rent as a result from how much I would pay. I am 27 and from Northern NSW, studying a community development graduate diploma at UQ, working as a bush regenerator and usually doing some sort of political/community volunteer work that I balance with lots of meditation and yoga. If you would be happy for me to come check your place out for either of those options please let me know :) Thanks so much!
Hi there maybe flatmates! I am particularly interested in a teamup house (not apartment) so we can find a place that we all like. I'm actively looking now but I'm also open to moving into an existing household. Where? Looking around South Brisbane, Highgate Hill, Dutton Park, Kangaroo Point, Woolloongabba, East Brisbane etc Lifestyle? I've share-housed with so many walks of life over the years and have loved the social and sharing aspect. Although I love to get together and socialise, I also like for a place to be a sanctuary when housemates need it to be. I do love hangouts, dancing, travelling, hiking, cooking and music but I work hard too and a regular recharge is required! As long as housemates are mindful, considerate and flexible at times, I find it makes for a peaceful household. What? A few big pros to finding a good house we can all enjoy are: ceiling fans/air con, backyard/garden, balcony/deck and decent internal/under house storage ( I am not a hoarder I promise ;). 3+ bedrooms for 3-4 pax. Other things? Recycling and working towards sustainable living wherever possible are important to me. I love growing and cooking food if possible in the house. Utilities and whatever are easily shared out and I'm happy to contribute to a cleaner every fortnight - it's a luxury but so worth it in share houses especially if you're short on time. If these ramblings sound like something you're drawn to living with, let's catch up. Julia
I am a Master's Student at UQ studying Environmental Management. I work part time in construction. I enjoy diving and bouldering in my spare time. I enjoy cooking.

We are two study abroad students from Norway that are looking for a place to live for our stay in Brisbane, as we will be studying at the university of Queensland for 1 semester. . We are both studying molecular biology in Bergen, and are looking forward to enhancing our knowledge, and get to know new people, creating new friendships. We are two social girls, that like to have weekend plans filled with interesting and fun events, such as festivals, drinks at a bar, lunching with friends, as well as a relaxing day with Netflix. Additionally, we are tidy people that will clean as we cook, to help having a clean house.
Hello! My name is Josh, I'm 25 and I've lived in Brisbane since I was five. I'm currently halfway through my sports journalism degree at UQ after already doing a marketing degree. I'm a pretty laid back dude who is mostly pretty quiet and doesn't mind a drink on weekends. Mix of sports head, nerd, and enjoy a good laugh. I have a big tv that I'm not using so happy to have that in the living room. I have occasional access to a car when needed but will mostly be reliant on public transport so I picked suburbs with good access to both UQ and the city. If you have any questions feel free to send a message :)
