I am a Physics student from India. This winter I will be at ANU for an internship. I am 19 years old and very studious, but I love spending fun time with my friends and roommates. Be it watching TV series, movies or sports. I am a great appreciator of all forms of Art. Be it music, movies, plays, books or painting. I love sports. I mainly play cricket and badminton. I regularly go for Hiking or cycle hiking, and I also have a knack for adventure sports.
Hey potential housemates My name is Sharne and I am a 28 year old Primary school teacher. I enjoy my personal space but also up for a chat and binging the bachelor, bachelorette or MAFS. Enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to music, going to the movies and Seinfeld and sex and the city aficionado. Hoping to find 1 other person like minded to move in with :) Cheers Sharne
I am working as an APS at the Department of Finance. I love nature, watching artistic films and want to get back into reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 20 minute drive to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom. Additionally, I am a neat and tidy person.
I'm a friendly, positive, laid back personality who respects others personal space. At the same time, I'm great company if you would like a chat. I love a good Netflix series but not really a fan of commercial tv. I love sport (more of a spectator these days) and don't mind watching it on the tv. I enjoy the odd bevvy, whether its after work or nibbles and drinks for a random and spontaneous celebration (just cos we can). I'm away from time to time, so there's the added advantage of having the place to yourself occasionally. I'm a fair and honest person and only expect the same in return. I like a clean, tidy house. When you use it put it back regime. Cook dinner, eat and then clean up. That kind of thing. Whilst I work in finance, I'm studying my Diploma in Beauty Therapy which I'll complete this June and yes I need someone to practice massages, facials etc on.
I'm in my third year studying music at the ANU, also sort of doing a double degree in psychology. I'm a songwriter, I play piano, sing and occasionally (very occasionally) I play gigs, hoping to up the scale of that particular operation though, so anyone who knows how to sing or play and wants to jam I'd love that. I also worked as a singing teacher for a year and am planning on doing so again. I enjoy having people around I can relax and spend time with from time to time - eat, maybe go out on the town with, help out with existential decisions etc. the works. I also really appreciate space and alone time, probably because I'm an only child so I get a bit drained if I'm around people all the time, so I'm not a threat when it comes to constantly wanting to monopolise your time. I love to read (currently reading The Penguin book of Hell, that's either a grabbing fact or terrifying, take your pick), write, love trying new things, if you ever wanna take a leap into something (unless it's literal, no thanks to diving off cliffs) and you're too nervous to do it alone, I could be your girl. I'm at uni a fair bit and also spend a fair amount of time at my boyfriend's place, so I wouldn't be around all the time either! I've lived independently for 2 and a bit years now, in a uni lodge then a share house, I've been enjoying moving around Canberra a bit and meeting new people though. I'm looking for a fairly cheap share house that's hopefully close to the city, a room (small, medium, large I don't really mind) with an ensuite would be a massive bonus and I don't mind houses with animals at all.
I am a 24 year old female working for a Government agency. I am from Victoria and in my spare time enjoy getting coffee with friends, spending time at the beach, reading and travelling. I am looking for a house mate to help share costs, as I plan on being away most weekends.
Hi - I retired from the APS (lasted 5 months) and am currently contracting to PM&C - till end June. I am seeking a share place - furnished preferred. I won't be there most weekends and Public Holidays as I actually live at the coast. Non smoker, social drinker, very clean and great cook !!
I'm friendly, clean & neat, sociable and respectful of the privacy of others. I've lived in flat/house shares for a year and I am now a fully "trained" housemate. I'm working as a therapist and relatively new to Canberra. I may be returning to Sydney for work sometime. I have a Jack Russell female dog who is equally chilled and highly trained. At times, I work from home auditing cases. I'd love to hear from you. In my spare time, I paint and have an active social life on weekends. I tend to go for hikes with my dog, visit friends and I am involved in many side projects that keep me busy. I tend to watch too much TV and Netflix too. I'm looking for a long term stay.
Hi everyone, I am looking for a room with share/private bathroom for 2 months. Mi name is Pabla, I'm from Colombia, a 35 yo woman. I used to work as Marketing manager in multinational companies in my country and I am working part time in the city and studying a master in the UC. I am VERY clean and organized. I respect so much people's privacy. I prefer quiet spaces and sometimes share a dinner or a glass of wine with my housemate. Happy to hear from you :) We prefer a place in Dickson, Lyneham, Turner, Kingston and the City.
I am moving to Canberra from Sydney to work in the APS. I am pretty active, gym, enjoy all sports, watching movies, reading and always keen for a nice meal. I am a very relaxed and easy-going person, who is tidy and likes to keep things neat and organised. Happy to chat, socialise and hang out but also respect my housemates need for space and privacy.
I'm easy going, full time Marketing Manager working in the innovation environment. Love cooking and sharing a good meal over wine. Respectful of others space as I like for others to respect mine. I can't stand bad odors so I keep the place pretty clean, without exaggerating. Looking for someone with values, non smoker (sorry I'm allergic), no drugs (sorry I hate them). Who is relaxed and social thus can have fun in a healthy way.
Public servant, just moved up here from Melbourne. Cyclist and like to keep fit. You will always find me listening to a podcast or some good music (Jill Scott, SZA, Fat Freddys, Jungle etc). Love good coffee, good food and a nice chat.
I’m a very considerate, good-humoured public servant. Into music, film and the arts, but no party animal by any stretch, so also appreciate quiet. Do most of my socialising out and about and fairly low key. Work with intense content during the day, so somewhere with anyone who is also fun but respectful of a quiet living environment is great. Happy to consider sharing with anyone who fits that description!
Hi, my name is Joe. I'm a first year post grad medical student at ANU. I moved into Canberra at the start of the year and due to a change in circumstance I'm looking for long term accomodation. I'm keen to move in with my friend Tom. He is a public servant working for the department of Finance. We are both mid 20's, easy going guys who really just enjoy relaxing at home, unwinding over a beer. We're both keen Soccer players, and often spend our Saturday nights watching the premier league. I'm a keen cook and love cooking for housemates, so definitely keen for family Dinners. Anyway, we're both looking to move in sometime next week if that's ok. Please let me know if you want to know any more about me or Tom.
I’m a 28 year old full time executive government employee with two non-shedding, housetrained Labradoodles, Billie and Bronson. Photos are available on IG for those interested [maverick.j.roberts (without the full stops)]. - I have a fridge, couch, television, washing machine, dining table etc. Ready to roll. - I’m an introverted extrovert so I am more than happy to do my own thing, but also enjoy hanging out and watching movies or having a barbecue and a beer or two. - I’m very neat and tidy and like to live in a clean space. - I’m fairly active. I train 5-6 mornings a week and walk the dogs twice a day. Between that and weekend activities I’m not home an awful lot. - Hobbies include reading, gaming and spending time with my close friends and family (dogs included).
Hello everyone! I'm a French cheerfull girl who loves to travel the world to discover new cultures and beautiful landscapes. I'm going to work at DFAT full time for a few months. I'm fond of nature, animal, tv series, Japanese culture... During my free time, I love to hang out with my friends, to go running, hiking, cooking etc. Last details: I'm a tidy person and I don't smoke. I'm looking forward to finding a great shared house soon :)
I’m a mature woman of 57 y.o. currently living in Perth and not looking to move to Canberra until next year possibly January/Feb and depending if my son is accepted into ANU. I realise it is premature but I created my profile in order to check out accomm, areas and costs expected in Canberra. If you will have accomm next year please keep me in mind. I am a vegetarian, non smoker, very occasional drinker, who likes to live a healthy lifestyle taking daily walks. I enjoy getting away on short sight seeing trips. I tend to keep to myself doing work on my computer but can also hold a good conversation. Thanks for reading and perhaps I can visit your place when we get to Canberra. Cheers.
I'm friendly, tidy and easy going. I moved here from W.A a few months ago and Canberra has really surprised me and grown on me! I have lived with plenty of house mates before. I am happy to chill out with a tea on my own or have a chat over a couple of drinks/meal. Im 26, work full-time in the city and I love pets if you have them! Looking for a room to rent and am fairly flexible.

Hello, I'm Ben. I consider myself to be a fairly regular 26 year old male. Love getting along with people and open minded. Canberra born and bred. Bit of a Jack of all trades. Trying to get back into keeping active after joining the public service. Do a bit of gaming (Won't chew up too much bandwidth though). I also enjoy a drink and being social, although I'm usually the quiet one in a group. Clean and tidy around the house especially in shared areas. More of a 'clean up after myself' type rather than 'everyone has their turn' but I'm flexible and will fit in with established practices. Not much of a cook but willing to learn. Will do my fair share of housework. Would love to find a place with flat mates that appreciate a really friendly vibe. Cheers,
Public servant returning to Canberra in early/mid May after a few years abroad. Looking for a place in the inner-south, preferably two bedroom setup. Have some furniture. Very easy going, have lived in 3+ person flateshares in Canberra and Melbourne previously. I’m outgoing, tidy, and respectful of space and the need for privacy.
