I am about to start a full time grad position within the public service and am leaving Brisbane to move to Canberra. I've lived in share accommodation for the past six years and so am very easygoing and clean! I'm always up for a chat but respect people's privacy if they're in the mood to hibernate. I enjoy exploring new places, reading a good book and having a glass of vino!
Hello, im Deniz from Germany. Im still looking for a short term about 2 months in the whole canberra area. I don't wanna lease anything. I'm working fulltime in the construction industry since already 1.5 years. Feel free to message me :) If you want 4 rents bond or something sorry don't message me. I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney at the beginning of February to start a job with the Department of Social Services and am looking for a room in a friendly share house. I'm 24 and have lived in share houses for the past 4 years, so I am used to living with others and sharing responsibilities and costs. I'm super easy going and can get along with all types of people. I love being able to hang out with my housemates, and share meals or watch TV together, but also value my own space and respect that of others. I'm moving to Canberra on the 2nd Feb and have booked a hotel for the first 3 weeks, so am hoping to find a room to move into in that time. I am also free to travel to Canberra to check out potential rooms throughout January. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or think I could be a good fit for your home :)
I've recently relocated to Canberra for a role in the public service. I'm looking for a decent sized room in an established share house in the city or inner northern suburbs. I'm very tidy and friendly, and I like to run and cook. I have bedroom furniture in storage and am ready to move in in late Jan or early Feb.
Hi I’m Hannah, a 24yo originally from Melbourne and will be new to Canberra at the end of January to start a public service position. I’m keen to find a room in an established house, ideally somewhere within bike riding distance to the centre of the city. I have shared houses for a few years and am a quiet and considerate housemate, respectful of personal space and like to tidy up after myself. After hours, I enjoy wine and cheese dinners and beers on a Friday, but I am also looking forward to getting out and about in Canberra! To balance out the fun, I also try to be reasonably active in my down time (incl. social sport, running, bike rides and gymming). I won’t have much furniture initially, except for my bedroom set up and a few kitchen items, though I am also interested to team up for a new place etc. If you’re looking for more information about me or think I’d be a good fit for your place, please send a message and we can connect through social media etc. Cheers, Hannah
Hey guys! I’m Shannon and I’m 24 years old from Melbourne. I’m looking for a place in Canberra’s inner south or north that can fit a queen size bed and has a car park. I’m moving to Canberra in February to start full time work within the APS. I’m a typical Melbourne girl who loves sport, brunch, Netflix and travelling. I’d love to find an existing sharehouse or create one that is really socially active and keen to explore Canberra with me.

I have recently graduated from Law/psychology last year and will be moving up to Canberra from Melbourne to commence a job in the APS. I’m a sporty and social person, I play field hockey and enjoy going to the gym. I would love to have chats and a wine with my roommates but also am respectful of personal space and appreciate the need for downtime. I am a clean individual and value a clean house. I would love to find some down-to-earth flatmates! I have a flexible move-in date - so can work with the availability of the room. Contact me if I sound like someone you could live with.
Hi all, I'm a 22yo, female student moving to Canberra (from Melbourne) to study postgrad medicine at ANU. Hence, I'm looking for somewhere to stay (I'm looking mostly for a share-house since that's what I'm used to, however I'm open to all options). I'm really hard-working, organized and clean and although I'd need some time to myself and my studies, I'm also really sociable and love meeting new people. Additionally, I love good food/wine/coffee, I'm currently working on staying fit and healthy and I enjoy playing volleyball, going for walks/hikes, reading and chilling out/ watching TV.

Max, 24 years old, from Toulouse (South of France) graduated from a master's degree and recently employed by Airbus Defence and Space for the next two years. I would describe myself as an aerospace enthusiast that loves to travel and broaden my horizons in much subjects like foreign cultures, nature, photography, basketball, hiking or scuba diving to name but a few. I easily get friendly with people, respect their own space and being involved at home keeping the place clean. I will be working full-time but happy to share some time during evenings and/or week-ends. At home I enjoy TV shows, listening to music (vinyl records), reading, cooking, baking, taking care of plants.. I will be moving to Australia with my girlfriend who has been employed by another french company in Sydney and will often be on the move discovering the surroundings. I would be glad to introduce myself in a phone/video call or discuss anything required.
G’day everyone, I’m a friendly marine biologist who swore to never move back to Canberra when I left there after high school. So, I will keep my word for atleast 5 Years, but after that it’s touch and go. I will be starting full time work for Australian fisheries management authority in February, and I have been travelling the last 6 months, so may take some time getting used to having a schedule again, let alone not living the uni lifestyle. Expect complaining about how hard my life is for the first few weeks (just kidding, probably) Usually do something adventurous on the weekends, summer will likely be spent at the coast where my grandparents have a little place, which you would be more than welcome to use if we become buddies. I will likely be surfing and or diving during these times, until footy comes around. Also, please let the record show that I will try and drag you to gigs whenever good music comes to Canberra. Feel free to message me on this, I’m currently living in Norway so email or this is the best form of contact. I’ll be moving back to Canberra at the start of feb, but if I find something I really like then I may be inclined to pay a little bit of dead rent to secure it :) Cheers
I am moving from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria to Canberra to begin a grad position. I am a very clean and considerate housemate who loves to socialise, but also really appreciates down time after a long day at work to just relax and watch Netflix/read. I am looking for a home, not just a house where people barely interact. Ideally I would like no more than two other housemates. I look forward to hearing from you :)

Hi I'm Amanti, 22 years old. I work as a governance officer in the public service at the National Film and Sound Archive as well as working part time on a bachelor of science degree at ANU. I'm a pretty chill person, I like my glass of wine and good food (all cuisines!). Would love to hang out with roommates and have a chat or two, but I will also give you your the privacy when you need to. I like to cook on occasion and as an Asian I'm obligated to cook waaay more than needed and feed any hungry people nearby 😉 Somethings you'll get from me as a roommate: - I cook any and all cuisines including Sri Lankan (specialty), Thai, Korean, Italian and Moroccan - I love art and interior design, so I'm all about keeping a clean and lovely place - I like to chill with a glass of wine or a gin and tonic at the end of the week and a good book
I'm Kahlia, a 24 year old public servant who's been in Canberra since the beginning of 2017. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym and also paddle for a dragonboat club, otherwise I watch Netflix and am trying to commit to reading more non-work related (i.e. fiction) books. I'm fairly quiet and respect other people's space, but I'd like to get to know my housemates and am definitely keen for an occasional glass of wine or shared meal. I have a fridge, couch, dining table and clothes dryer if any of those sound like a bonus. Would prefer somewhere with secure or at least off-street parking, but happy to negotiate if the place is otherwise what I'm looking for.
Hi there! I will be relocating from Brisbane to Canberra at the end of January to work full-time as a public servant and am looking for a room to rent. I've had plenty of experience living in share houses over the years so am well versed in sharing a space with others. I'm easy going, enjoy keeping a tidy space and am reliable. I enjoy reading, socialising with friends, the occasional Netflix/Stan binge session, and being in the outdoors (I'm hoping to learn to ski/snowboard now that I won't be living in such a hot state). I love to have a good chat and hang out with my roommates but, am respectful of others need for peace and quiet. I am hoping to move into an already established share house but, please feel free to message me with any offers to team up :)
