Hey hey! I’m a thirty-something Canadian girl working in sport. I’m super social, always up for anything but also value my personal space. Ideally, I would like to live with people that want to occasionally hang out and are respectful flatmates. I prefer to have a place with great access to public transportation. Also, I’m open to living anywhere on the Gold Coast. Cheers!
Hi there, I am a British female, looking for a room in lovely Brisbane! I work full time and am here on a working holiday visa. Need somewhere FULLY furnished as I will not be buying any furniture while I'm here. I am friendly, tidy and love to meet new people. Looking for a place to live with people who will become friends and can socialize with watching movies, or having a glass of wine as well as have some quiet time to myself. At the moment I'm needing somewhere only on the short term for up to 6 weeks max. Let me know if you think I'd be a good match. :)
I'm an American med student coming back to QLD for a 4th year rotation. I'm quiet, clean, enjoy kicking back and having a beer sometimes but I'll mostly be working, studying and skyping with my family in the US.
I am stating uni at QUT (Dual Psychology/Business) on 19th Feb 2018 and am looking for a place to stay. I consider myself to be an open person who has a love for food and music. I love playing the piano/guitar and dancing; as well as coffee dates and movies-bingeing.
Hi! I am a recent Master's graduate from UQ. I have a very busy lifestyle at the moment, working 7 days a week. I spend most of my time just resting at home after work. I consider myself to be humble, respectful, clean but a fun person! Just a bit too busy at this stage in my life. (Though i try to make as much time as possible for friends) Please let me know if you need a house mate. Thanks!
Hey future housemates, I'm Alex and I'm looking for my next home as my lease is up in my current sharehouse in mid Feb. I've been in a couple of sharehouses now and am looking for a place for at least 6 months, preferably a year, while I finish up the last year of my Business/Law degree. I'd like to live in a house rather than an apartment and I like to have a backyard or deck - need somewhere to chill out in the fresh air and put all my plants that live in my homemade pots. I like to keep it fairly quiet during the week with my work, study and sport. I play a bit of netball, touch footy and like to swim. Would be a plus if I found a housemate who would like to join me at the gym. On the weekends, I'll usually be out and about with friends and like to unwind with few drinks. I'm really looking for housemates I can be friends with - I enjoy chatting over tea, watching Netflix or playing some house board games. I also come with a little cat called Clive who my previous housemates have all loved and accepted as our extra housemate. I'll need a room that can fit a double bed, desk and wardrobe at least (off street parking would also be great but not essential). I've always enjoyed living in sharehouses with 3 or more people. If you've got a room that sounds like would be a good fit or if you're interested in teaming up to start a new place, I can't wait to hear from you.
Hi my name is Mátyás, 25 years old and I will be doing a 4-5 month internship at UQ, starting in February. With 25 years of experience in life, this young man has become rather social. During his years as a student, he has also optimized several other crucial skills including chit-chatting, cooking, drinking alcoholic consumptions and watching Netflix. Several other hobbies include photography, traveling, diving skiing, (jazz) music and playing the piano. Further: I am a social and easy going person and looking for a shared room, preferably with other students. Cheers, Mátyás
I work full time and live a healthy lifestyle. I have one quiet and clean adult cat that chills all day.
I'm a very clean and private person, but I also enjoy a few drinks every now and then. I usually spend my time in my room and I respect your space. Just working and about to start studying soon.
18 yr old working part-time at Aldi. Studying a bachelor of business- international at QUT! Love hanging out and socialising but also like some quiet time. Enjoy spending my spare time going to gigs, chilling with friends and of course staying in and watching Netflix. Super clean and organised!! Reliable job which means rent and bills will always be paid on time.
I’m super clean and tidy and enjoy my own space but still social. I’m respectful and honest and tend to get along with everyone. Looking to buy own property in the near future hence why I’d like to share accom.. Thanks Danny
Most of the time I am extremely quiet and conscientious, and spend a lot of time out of the house either working or studying in my room (BEnvSci student at Griffith University). In saying that i'm very personable and am always down for a chat when other roommates are around. Live music is my lifeblood and am always down to go see a gig if that's what you're into. I also DO NOT own a car, so being close to several modes of public transport would be a plus :) which also means I wont take up any valuable street or off-street parking you may have!
I'm a Brazilian chef who spent the last 13 years traveling arround the world cooking and chasing good food. I'm very calm guy (cause the kitchen is crazy enough) and I really enjoy a good chat with some beers or a glass of wine. I like to socialize a lot but I need my time alone too. Whatever I'm a good person, hard worker, clean and polite. I'm in Brisbane to study and work a bit. It would be a pleasure find a nice house with nice housemates to live at this amazing place.
I'd like to think I'm funny 😂 Very approachable and friendly. Making friends is least of my problem. Outgoing Mind my own business unless u want me to mind yours too 😎 I keep things clean and cook I like my own space Definitely pay rent on time. Drink socially Currently studying in UQ from Malaysia Hanum is exactly like me but a graduate and currently working =)
Hi there! I'm 24 years old and I work full time at a local craft beer bar. I love a great beer with mates, photography and I have a passion for cooking. I think I'm a pretty low maintenance person to live with and am looking for somewhere to make my home. I'm not interested in being a part of a share house where everyone keeps to themselves all the time. I'm looking at moving in from early February. I'm looking to sign a minimum of a 6 month lease.
Easy going Gold Coast girl moving up to be closer to uni (QUT kelvin grove/garden point). Looking for flatmates that respect privacy but are also willing to socialise with casual wine nights or heading out in the mornings to buy overpriced avo on toast. Proud supporter of messy hair, sweat pants and baking vegan banana bread. Ideally looking for someone close in age but I get along with everyone so not too fussed. Feel free to message if you think you'd be a good fit :) (Bonus points if you have a dog.)
Hey:) I'm a Melbourne girl moving to Brisbane to study medicine. I'm looking for a relaxed and friendly place to call home close to UQ and the matter hospital. I intend to work alongside my studies so I would appreciate a more relaxed base rather than a party house. I enjoy cooking, getting outside and chats over tea. I'm very easy to get along with and look forward to getting to know you :) The main things that I'm looking for are: - A private room large enough for a queen bed and desk. - Proximity to UQ uni - A smoke-free house - AC is a plus - Must be LGBT friendly Message me to find out more:)
Hi there,..I'm seeking private room near town. Must be near public transport, within 15km of city. Not sure of shift times in future,so somewhere this won't bother anyones routines. I am quiet, but always up for a laugh and a beer. No car or much stuff, any furnishings are appreciated. Thanks-Mike *Need internet (light smoker)
Hi there ~ I'm Hujo, I'm from China. I'm a fun, easy going , and outgoing person. I'm kinda a smoker but only smoke when I'm upset.Looking for a private room in a share house. Also looking forward to have good time with cool roommates.
Hi everyone :) I'll be moving to Brisbane this February to study my masters in Social Work. I'm 27 (nearly 28), originally from Mullumbimby in Northern NSW, very friendly, down to earth, respectful of others, and a non smoker/drinker (however I don't have a problem with those that do). I've just returned to Australia after living in Indonesia for the last 5 years, and would love to find a sharehouse that feels like a real home, with housemates who are kind-hearted, and enjoy sitting down together for a cup of tea and a good chat. Hoping to find a room in West End or surrounding inner city suburbs. I can afford $175/week INCLUDING bills.
Im clean, tidy and respectful. I'm also a fun person to be around. I can guarantee you wont have a dull moment living with me, and considering Im from Croatia originally theres always plenty of good food around. I'm currently working full time in a solar company. However on the weekend I like to go out, hiking, dancing or to some waterhole.
I'm great to live with because I'm clean and tidy, equally happy keeping to myself or chilling with others, a good cook, and I like people. I've travelled fairly widely, and have lived in Japan and Europe, so I'm comfortable with all sorts of folks. I work casually and study full-time, so I won't be in anyone's way, either. :)
I am 19 years of age and am currently living on the Gold Coast and commuting to Brisbane to study Medical Laboratory Science at QUT. I love travelling and have been to parts of Europe and South America. Whilst on the Gold Coast I actively participate in Surf Life Saving, work part time and love a good night out with my friends.
Hi! I'm Andrew, a 29 year old environmental consultant. I work full time during the week in the Valley and sometimes, but not often, travel for work. I am clean, respectful, honest, drama free and appreciate the same in return. I'm a pretty quiet and laid back guy who enjoys the outdoors, either hiking or the beach, but also happy to veg out watching TV, play games, listen to music etc. I also love to attend live gigs to see my favourite bands whenever I can.
