Both super easy going. Tidy & friendly. Up for a chat but also very respectful of people's personal space. Enjoy the outdoors (running, biking etc), coffee and a good beer! From the UK on a WHV and looking to stay in Melbourne for 3-6 months, possibly longer.
Hi, I'm Camilo, from Bogotá, Colombia. I am professional musician and producer, and also journalist and writer. I am moving to Melbourne to study an intensive english course in early February 2019. I am interested in art, culture, music and enjoy cooking and exercise. During the week I will be busy with english academy, however, in my free time I would like to meet the city and new people. I am easy going, friendly, respectful, clean and tidy. Feel free to message me, thanks!

Hello future housemates! my name is George, I'm 24. I came to Australia to study in Brisbane and now that uni is over I want to live and work for a while in Melbourne. Why Melbourne? Since it's the cultural hub of Australia and the hipster-place-to-be(which is right up my alley) I want to experience the city and its people and not only stay there for a few days. So my plan is to stay for around 2 months(maybe longer, let's see how things turn out). For work I want to get into hospitality, I have been working the last two years as a bartender in Germany and I would love to get back at it. Just totally adore working and chatting with people in this environment. Some more background on me: Originally I'm from Russia but now studying material science and engineering in Germany. At the moment my hobbies are playing the guitar, singing in a choir(preferably new pop-songs and not only ancient stuff), ballroom dancing, boxing and going out for a run. I would love to continue doing some of this stuff in Melbourne but I'm also totally down to try out new things Before coming to Australia, the past 6 months, I have lived in Munich in a shared house with 6 roomies and I would love to live in a shared flat/house again. I like hanging out with my roomies, having a beer or cooking and having dinner together. I mean we don't have to become best friends(but which would be cool), but I'd like to have roomies who don't try to actively avoid the other roommates and enjoy the company of others. so a family-like environment would be totally awesome
I am clean, easy going and a pleasant company. I am from Hamburg/ Germany and I come to Melbourne for 6 months for a research fellowship at the university of Melbourne. I will work full-time. In my free time, I love to dance Salsa. I am looking for a furnished room in a flat or a whole flat from 1st of December 2018 until end of April 2019 in Carlton, Fitzroy or other areas close to the centre, or alternatively in St. Kilda. I would also consider to rent a room or flat for a shorter time period if. Please contact me if you think we would be a good match ;-)
Hi, I'm Serge. I'm a Portuguese, South African Australian, who studies music at uni, and works full time in tech support. So give me a computer I can fix most things software related. I play beautiful guitar though usually unplugged on my electric as not to disturb my housemates, though I am always open for a jam. With studying and working, I keep pretty busy. I'm respectful and get along well with my current housemate. and the main reason I'm looking is my lease is expiring, rent has gone up, and Ideally I want to shift the balance of my energy towards my studies whereas my work takes the lions share of my effort at the moment, So I'm looking for somewhere low cost. My Goals are to be the best musician and human that I can be. I'm a left leaning socially progressive, hard working dude, and If I sound like your type of person, send me a message and I will come check your place. Im looking to move at the beginning of November, but will consider places earlier in the interest of stability in my semester. Thanks and Peace!!!
Would ideally love to live in the East Melbourne/CBD area. I am an easy going guy, I love socialising and meeting new people and am always down to go out for a drink or brunch! I am a clean and tidy person and very respectful of other peoples spaces. Im looking for a roommate that is also tidy, positive and would be open to hanging out and exploring the city together :)
Masters mechatronics engineering student at uniMelb. I'm some one who enjoys having a laugh every now and then. I'm a Big fan of sports, enjoy working out, a FIFA legend. I believe I'm a friendly person in general. I'm neat and like to tidy up things especially areas I share with others. Usually at uni most times during the semesters.
Hi All, I'm 24 and looking for accommodation in Parkville, Melbourne. I'll be pursuing my Masters very soon. II’d like to say I’m a pretty easygoing comfortable person to live with. Always punctual, as is cleaning up after myself and being respectful of other peoples space and items. You won’t find me dipping into your snacks or leaving any passive aggressive notes on the fridge. I love sports and a beer as much as a cup of tea and I’m at all opposed to a boogie on the weekend. #Postivevibesonly
Hi everyone. My name is Sergio, 35yo Italian guy. I am arriving to Melbourne on November 26th holding a student visa. I am looking for a long term room with quite and nice flatmates, I am NOT looking for a party house with unhealthy people, house for me is a great moment to relax and recharge myself. This does not mean that I am a cave man: I am sociable, respectful, very clean, I practice yoga and I love to talk about deep life topics with a glass of red wine. I like sports and nature and simple things of life. I already lived in Melbourne between 2014 and 2016. I do NOT smoke. If these informations suit you, I will be happy to hearing from you (WhatsApp ONLY because I am still in Italy)
Positive vibes only please... Very Respectful Enjoy cooking Weirdly like to clean... Love to socialise but also enjoy my down time Working full time and enjoy getting out and about on a weekend
We are from Chile, responsible, organized and chilled people. We have finished university and we are looking for new opportunities here in Melbourne. We would like to live in a good atmosphere.
I am an easy going, tidy person who pays bills on time which is important :P. I am currently studying at Monash doing my master and working at the same time which means i am not home most of the time, but when i am you are definitely going to see me. I am not much of a party person but don't mind having a beer or two on weekends. Singing and playing guitar are my hobbies so you are going to hear me singing in my room at times :P Besides that, i love learning about other cultures and would prefer living in a multicultural sort of place. I like socialising and all but being an introvert, there are times when i need some time alone to recharge. Moreover, i don't cook, actually i can't cook so i don't use kitchen much. Cheers.
Olaaaaa! I’m Madie and I’m 24 and I’ve been living independently coming up on 6 years, two of those by myself, and previously in share house environments so I’m well versed in the world of “adulting”. Currently working almost full time for Melbourne Pest Control in Brunswick East as Administration and Accounting and before that I’ve been pretty much entirely hospitality based. So I can make a damn decent coffee but clean up after myself like a pro. My work hours are pretty solid 10- 5 Monday to Thursday so I’m out of the house most of the day except for Fridays. I’ve got a bachelors in Audio Engineering and Game Design, I don’t use either of them in a career sense but if gaming or a a good jam session are your thing consider me down and not complaining. I’d like to say I’m a pretty easygoing comfortable person to live with. Paying for financial responsibilities is never a problem and always punctual, as is cleaning up after myself and being respectful of other peoples space and items. You won’t find me dipping into your snacks or leaving any passive aggressive notes on the fridge. I love a good book and a wine/beer as much as a cup of tea and I’m at all opposed to a boogie on the weekend. No pets (they live with my mother) although I love all animals and will make your pets love me. I’ve got a fairly decent and growing plant collection and some cool art. I also come with quality banter and a love of cooking for people. I do partake in the smoking of the darts it’s more of an outside thing and will never be your problem. I’ve recently become without a car so there’s no issue of having to find parking. More than happy to answer any questions, I’m definitely horrible at writing about myself so ask away!
My name is Simon and I work for NAB. I’ve recently returned from Sydney and am currently staying in thornbury. I’m looking to rent somewhere for the medium to long term that is furnished. I work full time Monday to Friday and spend spare time reading, gym, Netflix, fairly active. I work in Docklands so this is a great location. I like to cook, I spent a lot of time in hospitality before moving to finance. I’m not a room hermit but also respect other people’s need to have their own time and space. I’d be interested in having a look at the room and meeting you if it’s still available. Im not in a rush to move, but the sooner the better. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for any more information or to arrange a time to meet. Talk soon.
Hi guys! I have just moved back to Australia and am looking for a room. This past 1.5 years I have been living abroad and lived/worked one year in Berlin - amazing city! I am originally from Adelaide and now moving to Melb. Currently I am still employed by the Westpac Group (I was on a career break while I went away) but not currently working. I just got back from overseas this week, and trying to get my boss to organise a work transfer to Melb part-time. I will also study Community Services in 2019. About me: I am so easy going! I have travelled around the world and led an interesting life in Berlin where I made the move spontaneously, without knowing anyone or anything there! And it was the best year of my life. Found a job, found a place to live and made amazing friends and created amazing memories. As a housemate I am: Clean and neat (this is a vow haha), respectful, fun (always down for a drink and an interesting chat) flexible (believe it or not in Berlin for 6 months I lived in a bedroom/shower - I will explain more when I see you and show you a photo lol) and organised (rent will always be paid on time and I do have savings already put away for that). I used to be a school teacher, a finance case manager and in Berlin a patient care adviser for a digital hospital, but will now pursue what I am truly passionate about which is case management in community services (hence a little extra study). My interests: -Traveling (yeah yeah everyone writes that, but I have been to some interesting places that the usual crowd would not venture to). -Exploring abandoned places (in Berlin I explored an old Nazi hospital which Hitler used to be treated at, an old abandoned chemical factory where we found documents from the 80s still there and laboratories...abandoned houses with magazines from the 70s and old furniture, clothes etc...the list goes on). - Techno music (Berlin exposed me to some amazing under ground techno artists and now I have a sweet collection of awesome tracks). -Art/Graffiti art...I love photographing graffiti art and going to different art exhibitions and galleries. Anyway sorry about the thesis, but I will be your perfect new flatmate (really!) haha and hopefully we can meet! Any other questions just ask. Peace!
Hi I’m Chris and my partners name is Abbie. We have been together 5 years in the U.K. and moved over here on a WHV. I am English and Abbie is Scottish, we lived in Manchester for the last 3 years. I work in people development and Abbie works in Marketing. We are both extremely tidy, respectful and polite. We enjoy going out for dinner and having numerous cocktails (Abbie)! We also love to cook and work our way through Netflix series! In our spare time (when we can fit it in) we also keep active by going to the gym! If your similar and would like to share a place then give us a shout :)!
Studied cinema back to France, into photography and films, on the road for two years and seeking a place to live for at least 6 months now. Pretty chill and tidy, not a huge party person and prefer have a boogie during the day to enjoy the sun. absolutely love cheese with a good glass of wine, yes i'm a french cliche !
Hi! I'm Judith and I'm from Spain where I work as a yoga teacher. I'm looking for a flat to share in Melbourne! I'm a quiet, respectful and a clean person and I like to create a good environment and friendship with people I live with. I like dogs, yoga and travel!
I'm 26 (27 by the time I'll move in) and moving interstate to Melbourne for work! I've lived in Sydney all my life so not only am I on the look out for a little corner of the world to stay with some roommates, but some new friends would be all the better! Most nights I'm happiest with a quiet night in reading or watching something silly on TV, Netflix or Stan, but I'm also up for a party on the odd occasion. I've heard Melbourne is known for its food and music scene so I'm keen to explore too!. I can cook about a grand total of two dishes from scratch (mini quiche and Oreo truffles) so it's safe to say I won't often be hogging the kitchen to cook. Microwave meals are my go-to dinners but happy to experiment and learn if communal eating is your roomie thing. Equally happy to just have a chat and debrief the day while you eat your gourmet meal and I eat my boring food! :) I work in the music/teaching fields, so you'll probably find me humming a tune or playing my keyboard (with the headphones in, don't worry!) every now and then. Living with other creatives would be the dream! I like to keep fit by either jogging in my local area and joining adult dance classes after work. I also love chocolate, cats, and board games.
Hello! My name is Matt and I have just moved to Melbourne from the UK on a working holiday visa. Please get in touch if you have anything suitable.
