Young professional originally from the UK and a permanent resident of Australia. Have just come back from the UK after some time off and have just taken a new job in the tech industry in Melbourne. Before this I lived in Brisbane for 10+years. I love my sports, being active and meeting new people and i'm looking for a room to rent in Melbourne with some great people and to enjoy this new chapter of my life with.
I am Japanese female who lived in Mel since 1994 then moved to South America, then now am in Perth but I prefer Melbourne, so looking for my new home to move back to my hometown. I am clean and quiet, don't cook a lot but I like it sometimes. I don't smoke so I prefer to live with non-smoker too. I don't have a car so prefer the home close to train station, not only trams.
I rise early, walk Taco, do ballet workout, shower, then head out. I'll be studying ballet in the city, an additional course, and working: hospitality, and animal rescue. We need a dog-friendly place where Taco will be treated like a member of the household. I'm training him to help take out the garbage, and German, cos he has the basics down. It'd be wonderful to cheer-up sick children in hospital, so I guess Taco will be working too haha ;p We're quiet, love having fun and sharing happiness lol I tend to do cute character voices for his amusement, so we definitely won't be ghosts, or strangers to you! Always pay rent and bills on time! Have done so for 8 years, worked since age 9. I'm ambitious, a hardworker. Only on hiatus til I find a place in Melbourne. But will definitely be back in town for meet and greets. Looking for an ideal place to call home for at least 6 - 12 months. I can provide a pet bond, and references if you need! Taco is house-trained. Pointer X. Excited to make new friends, and go on lots of adventures. We play catch, cos I'm an awesome parent, and he is so lovable you'll want to rescue every shelter dog! 💗 I take care of Taco 100% + clean as I go, all the usual stuff! I'm easy-going, enjoy good conversation, love to mess around and laugh, but who doesn't! Secure outdoor area. Private room. And anywhere close to a station is mint! If you're experienced, friendly and chill it'll be fun! Good communication a must♡☆ N.B. Twister and drinks are a great icebreaker 😄🐙🍻 so if you love boardgames a big plus Hope to hear from you soon! Luna and Taco ^_^🐾
Hey peeps, Looking for somewhere to stay close-ish to the CBD, if anyone has a room free please let me know! I am also open to starting a new sharehouse if anyone is looking for someone to join-up with them. About me; I recently moved from Perth - enjoy a bunch of things like cooking, gardening, camping/outdoors, seeing live music, festivals, skateboarding and taking photos. I'm pretty easygoing and respectful to my housemates, always tidy and considerate. I like a good balance between spending time on my own and with housemates and would be up for dinners and drinks together. I'm flexible with move-in date and length of stay, I'll be studying in Melbourne for the next two years.
Hi there, This is Blue, a mature female, clean and tidy. I am into yoga, relatively quiet but easygoing as I stayed in the UK and traveled many countries in Europe for the past years. I am a full-time patisserie student and have a part-time job in a pastry kitchen in the city. Before being a chef, I was a high school teacher, uni lecturer and fabric designer. But I am actually more into craft art and did sell them in stores. I am going for another diploma in few weeks time that's why I am looking for a cosy and clean place closer to my new school and at the same time not too far from my workplace. Feel free to drop me a msg if you consider I might be a good fit for your place. Hope to hear you soon. many thanks, :) Blue
I'm a young guy working full time as a web developer in Fitzroy, looking for a fun inner city place with some cool housemates. I'm generally pretty laid back, and not much bothers me. I just want to live with fun people I can have a laugh with. I'm perfectly happy either chilling in my room for days on end or hanging out with people and being social. I'm super considerate, the worst thing I can think of happening is that my actions will negatively impact someone, so I'll generally do my best to make sure everyone is having a good time. I have two adorable 6 month old cats, Audrey and Wally, who are super loving and really clean. I'm vegan, but again I'm pretty laid back. As long as you're cool and respect my lifestyle I can roll with the punches. I'm also a musician, playing guitar, bass and keyboard, but aside from singing in the shower I play with headphones so you wont have to worry about any loud 3am jams. Being a computer nerd, I come with my own supder high speed unlimited internet connection, and am happy to be the house IT department. I also come with a good fridge and one of those cube shelving/TV units from Ikea.
Myself and Sam currently live together in Clifton Hill but we are looking to move to a new place - either an existing house with a couple of spare rooms or teaming up to find a new 3/4/5 bed place. We both work in the CBD and are aiming for a place in the inner north, or Richmond. We are both laid back and enjoy socializing outside of work. Pretty keen on playing soccer & tennis, watching any sport, a little game of chess, the occasional Netflix binge and a chat about the social, economic and cultural issues facing society today and in the future. We keep the place tidy but we aren't clean freaks - having mates around every now and then as well as heading out for a few scoops at the end of the week. A big thing for us is finding a some like minded guys or girls who will be comfortable around the home. Give us a message if you would be keen to have a chat.
HI! Im Caro I working in North Melbourne so Im looking for furnished room in the area. Im easygoing person, I like to cook and spend time in nature, I dont smoke, and I would love to share a wine with my housemates from time to time, also I enjoy my time alone. Hey, I'm Pierre from Germany. There I used to be an actor and musical singer but now took a time off to travel. I'm part of a work and travel program and just arrived in Melbourne at beginning of April and will be staying til 12th of August. I'm working in a 5 star hotel at the moment so I have a constant income. I'm a positive, energetic person whom you can have lots of fun with! I want to get to know more local people and learn more about the country and culture and hope to find some new friends! I love music, nice conversations and sports and love dancing.
I'm Georgia, 26, English and in Melbourne on a WH visa. I work in the CBD as an English as a Foreign Language teacher for adults, which is really fun. I've currently got a sublet which I move out of soon, so I'm looking for somewhere new. So also about me.. I'm relaxed and sociable- a good listener, and like to learn about new things and people. I'm open-minded, left-wing, optimistic and generally pretty happy and chilled. I also LOVE dancing. And laughing. I'm clean, tidy etc. and have had numerous flatshares before, and ideally want to get on well with my flatmates. I like to cook, a night out, a night in, a night somewhere in between etc etc. I'm musical (I play piano and like to sing jazz stuff), like art, literature and generally happy to try anything I haven't tried before. Should go without saying but I'm also vegan friendly and LGBT+ friendly! Hope this has given some sort of impression of me. I'd love to hear from you if you think I might be a good fit, and come meet you and see the place. I usually work Mon-Thurs until about 4PM, so could come anytime around those hours. My length of stay is flexible, anywhere from 2-4 months really. Hit me up if you think it could work, as I'm open to different length options. Cheers, Georgia
Hi potential housemate, I am an easy going professional working in the CBD, recently back from the bright lights of London. Looking for a private room close to the CBD with a private bathroom (If possible), moving in mid April however flexible on this. I am housetrained, pay the bills on time and clean up after myself :) Mostly I am either working, at the gym, rediscovering Melbourne or meeting new people. Looking for a similarly relaxed and housetrained housemate.
**Looking for two rooms** not a share room* We are fun lads who split our week by uni, part-time work, hitting the gym and the occasional Saturday night out. We are clean, respectful and responsible. 100% guarantee on the rent being on time. (covered by youth allowance and parents as guarantors) Looking to move in order to be within 30 minutes of the CBD as we are both currently commuting around 2 hours from Geelong.
Positive, relaxed housemate. I enjoy cooking, reading, enjoying breakfast and cuppa on a Sunday morning. I can bring furniture or leave in storage, flexible either way. If you would like to chat and find out more, please do not hesitate to send me a message. Regards Jo
We’re two Italian girls and we work as Italian teachers in Brunswick and Fitzroy. We’re 27 and 28 years old so we’d like someone in their late twenty’s/ early thirty’s. We’re clean and tidy, we like cooking, going to the beach and having a glass of wine with friends, but we also like time for ourselves, so both of us want our own room. We’re searching at least 2 clean and tidy people for a team up or interested in starting a new share house
Hi guys! My name is Kate and I am a 27 year old artist/designer. I am a relaxed, creative, fun individual who enjoys cups of tea, indoor plants, cooking, gardening, playing guitar, going to gigs, chilling out with housemates, dinner parties and Netflix. I am pretty busy/independent as I have a studio and work part time so am often working lots but loving it. However really keen to find a place that is more of a home and with people who share similar interests and want to hang out a little too!
I’m a chef from the UK, love cooking for friends and listening to indie music. Not the party type of person, easy going will be out the house a lot due to work. Love dogs/pets if you have any!
Recently relocated here in Melbourne from Sydney to focus on my art practices while working as a screen printer full time in Coburg. I am usually to myself and don’t mind chatting or catching up with roommates. Caught my mums OCD so I like things clean and tidy. I also wake up early for work. Weekends I like to hang out with friends and catch up on laundry. I’m keen on getting my routine back up and running seeing I haven’t totally settled in to Melbourne yet.

I’m a very easy going, polite and tidy person who loves her own space but also the company of others. I am a early childhood educator. Hello! I'm Emily. I'm almost 29 years old. And, I will be doing post-grad coursework at the University of Melbourne starting in July. I'm so excited to be moving to Melbourne! About me: born in Alabama but lived most of my adult life in California, former U.S. Navy, love to: cook, read, run and hit the weight room, ride and work on motorcycles (yes, you read that correctly), travel, listen to music, see plays/shows, watch movies, enjoy a good cup of coffee or glass of wine, and I'm slightly pilates obessed. I'm responsible, financially stable and independent, health-conscious (non-smoker, mostly vegetarian diet), respectful of privacy, clean and organized 1) LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! CARLTON, FITZROY, NORTH CARLTON, NORTH MELBOURNE, BRUNSWICK EAST, PARKVILLE and COLLINGWOOD. Short walk/public transit commute to the University of Melbourne and near free tram zone. Would love to be in a location close to coffee, a great gym and shopping, you know all the good stuff. 2) I study at home (mainly me staring at a laptop and writing far too much), so I need a private bedroom with enough space for a desk too. And though I like to socialize occassionally, I am looking for a relaxing space with ideally no more than 3 other flatmates total. A private bathroom would be nice, but I'm willing to share a bathroom with 1 other person. I've lived with couples, all girls and mixed guy/girl houses. Overall, I actually think mixed houses are the most fun, but I'm open to living with pretty much anyone who is genuine and respectful of space and privacy. Housing must have internet/internet capability and a laundry washing machine. Big, nice kitchen. Hopefully, some bit of communal garden, patio or outdoor space. Willing to go up to $400 a week for the right spot, but price must match quality. 3) My program is 1.5 years,so if I found the right spot, I'd be happy to stay longer than 6 months. Though I will not have any pets, I love animals! So, if you have a house-trained doggy or kitty, I'm totally fine with it. Would love for my housemates to become good friends. And will someone please teach me how Aussie Rules Football works! I'm dying to see some games and learn about the sport. I ask that any housemates be respectful, responsible and clean up after themselves and, I will hold myself with the same standards. Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider me! :)
Hi everybody, My name is Jonathan and I'm someone very friendly. I need to live somewhere where it's tidy and clean. I think to be someone pretty discreet and easygoing. I'm a Physical Trainer and I have a sport life style, I will be happy to share that with my new housemates :) I am impatient to meet you.
Hey my name is Kimberley, originally from Adelaide. I work in the CBD and I enjoy going out for dinner and watching tv. I like to keep to my self and also socialise. I’m looking for either short or long term, hoping to become more friends than strangers in the house. I have had such bad luck with share housing always drugs or drama involved looking for something drug free 😊
