Hi! I'm a 26 year old, finance professional from Perth, moving to Melbourne the first weekend of Feb. I'm looking to rent a fully furnished double bdrm with max 3 housemates for around $300/wk somewhere close to Richmond (where my job will be based). I've lived in a flatshare of 4 and 5 housemates the past few years with no issues, I'm clean and tidy, work normal hours and like to chill on weeknights and explore new places on the weekends. Lover of summer, the beach, music, good wine, a G&T, bit of a foodie, love trying new places and travelling! Cheers Adelene
I'm going to start my first semester at the university of melb, and I'm looking for somebody to share an apartment with. I don't like being completely on my own, hence the hunt for a flatmate! I like socializing, but i like personal space too. Always up for adventures!
Hey everyone! We're a couple who have just moved to melbourne and are on the lookout for the best housemates on offer! We're a pretty social couple who'd love to have a couple of bevs every now and then. Although we are pretty social, we also like our quiet time for study and binge watching netflix.
Hello. I'm looking to live with just one other female preferably aged between 35-50. I currently volunteer in Front of House for local amateur theatre groups and as a support worker in a residential Aged Care facility. I will be studying reflexology this year and work part-time to full-time as an Aged Care worker. I'm looking to plant my feet in the right house with a good fit so we can get the best out of each other and provide a peaceful, caring, supportive and enjoyable home to relax in that is equally our space and that we can share harmoniously together. I'd love the odd catch up but I also cherish alone time to recharge and re boot! My interests include foreign languages, the theatre, eating well and living conscientiously, going on walks and picnics, listening to live music and drinking the odd Red or White! I like card making and reading. And enjoy watching documentaries and comedies. My musical tastes are eclectic and I'd be happy to share an interest with you in this. I love cooking accompanied by the radio and yes love singing along at times too! I am low maintenance and like an easy going relationship with a housemate but I also pull my weight around the house with chores too. I like a household that includes compromise and good communication. Prefer a neat and tidy environment where things have their place :) I have lived in many shared accommodations so have wealth of experience in this area, but it is also a case that I'll never stop learning either! It would be lovely to meet you. Warm wishes Celeste
I am architecture student in the university of Melbourne. I like sports. Looking for a quiet and clean place to stay. Am tidy clean, easygoing :) I am Chinese. Am looking forward to move in from April 2018
Hey there! I'm an easy going Australian who's been living abroad (France/Canada) the last few years. I'm a friendly guy and love to meet new people and learn. I cook most my meals at home, clean up after myself and like to be social in common areas. I much prefer to be friends with my housemates rather than just a few people living somewhere together. I'll always be keen for a beer and chat if someone else is. I play guitar from time to time, and try to avoid forgetting the French I've learnt. Besides that I love to keep in shape, running and stretching. I'm just starting a new job working as a Mechanical Engineer in Port Melbourne. And would love to find some like minded people to share 2018 with. :)
My partner Julian and I are from the US, and are looking for a place in Melbourne for 6-8 months. On our off days, we enjoy attending gigs, doing something creative or spending time outside. We're both very easy going and are always willing to lend a hand wherever possible. I would like someone easy going and honest as a roommate. Sweet, thank you!
Laid back and sociable but used to sharing flats so appreciate the need to allow people their own space too! I work in corporate finance and have just moved over from Edinburgh to work here for a few years.
I'm a student at the University of Melbourne, just started a masters after working in London for a couple of years. The course is two years, full-time, so ideally I'd love somewhere to call home for at least the duration of my degree, if not longer! I'm a pretty clean, quiet and easygoing flatmate - I've been in flatshares for the past 5 years - I also love to cook, and am generally down for any sort of group dinners or Netflix binges or whatever. This will be the first time I've spent any amount of time in Melbourne, so I'm looking forward to finding somewhere I can experience the best of both worlds. During the week I'd say my vibe is much more 'homebody' - I'll be at uni and/or studying mainly, reading a lot, procrastinating via baking etc., etc., but during the weekend I'm aiming for more of a markets-and-music type thing, provided the procrasti-baking hasn't gotten too out of hand :) A few extra details, I guess - I've not got any dietary restrictions or preferences, though I would of course be respectful if flat-sharing with anyone who does, I would prefer an LGBTQ+ friendly environment, and I'm down for cohabiting with pets, although I don't have any of my own. If none of this sounds unreasonable, I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi my future housemates I am Ketty, I work full time in apparels industry and have been traveling to many countries for work and leisure that I am an open minded and respectful person who gets along well with pretty much everyone:) My lifestyle is quite active and social that I go to gym after work and out during my days off hanging with friends, hunting for good cafe (absolutely a coffee lover), exploring the city for festival, markets and museums or just chill in the libraries sometimes and enjoying the beach in sunny days. I keep myself eating healthy that I cook often (maybe not the best cook but pretty creative lol) and I also drink a little wine and beer occasionally that I think it would be great if there is someone to share with sometimes. I also like to keep my living place clean and tidy and always up to help out cleaning communal spaces. Looking forward to meeting you:D
Junior doctor working full time. Quiet clean and tidy. Friendly, easy going, respect personal space. Looking for long-term accommodation. Relocating from Brisbane, originally from Hong Kong. Have been sharing house for 5+ years. Prefer a private room with own/ ensuite bathroom. Owns a car, needs parking space.
Myself and my partner are looking to teamup with some more people to move into a house, singles or couples it doesn't really matter just as long as you're a fairly decent human being that should be enough! We are a couple but in no way 'lovey dovey', sickly over the top, matching outfits type couple. Were both in our late 20's and not looking to live in a party-house, although we are still social people. Ideally we would like to live with people that are of the same mindset and are about for a glass of wine and a chat at least some of the time! We both enjoy cooking and would probably have friends over for dinner every now and again. We are English and Irish, Daniel is a photographer so working freelance and also has a full-time job, I am working am working on marketing a small start-up project whilst working in a bar part-time to pay the bills. Interests include art and culture, reading, photography, music is a huge one, and getting into nature with a tent, campfire and staring at the stars whenever we can. Our friend Ross, also from the UK will be looking to rent with us - he is a down to earth mid-20's guy who works full-time so we are looking for a 3/4 (or maybe 5) bedroom house. The idea of getting another couple/single onboard means that we can comfortably afford a very nice property as our budget will be a lot heftier. After a property that is not an apartment building in the city centre, somewhere in the inner suburbs ideally with some green space but not too far away from the centre. - Areas; Fitzroy, North Fitzroy, Carlton, North Carlton, Collingwood, East Melbourne, -Budget; 250pp (3 of us making a total of 750pw) - Non veggies but obviously no problem if you are -LGBT friendly -Lease length; can do 12 months -Dates; can move from the start of February -Open to having pets if the lease allows
I am a software engineer moving to Melbourne for work and study. Growing up in a culturally diverse setup, I am chill through and through: seldom complaining, eager to go along with the rest of the group and rarely fretting. It's always good to have a chilled techie as flatmate!
We’re a Swedish couple, taking a break from the Swedish cold for a couple of months! We’re very easy going and want to get to know Melbourne everyday life and culture. Frida, 25, has a working holiday visa and will be working in retail or restaurant. She’s also applying for architecture school in Stockholm and will be working on the admission test in Melbourne. Benjamin, 32, has taken time off from work as graphic designer and project manager in the tech business, to focus on personal startups and to get a nice break from ten years in employment. He will attend tech meet ups, work on personal projects, and do touristy things during the stay.
I'm 18 years old (turning 19 soon) and have lived in a share house for a few months already. I am from Adelaide but moving to Melbourne really soon! I clean up after myself and am respectful of others privacy. I like to socialise and make new friends! I love getting in the outdoors and exercising :) Please feel free to message me! :)
We're a couple of friends looking to find a place living with potentially a conscious female who wants to live a sustainable lifestyle. We both would like to get to know our housemates well, and enjoy each others company, although both enjoy time to ourselves too. Matthew - I am what many would call a freegan and I work for a food rescue charity. I spend my free time making music and spinning vinyls, hiking and taking photos. I spend a lot of time meditating and am interested in spirituality. I also thoroughly enjoy making things from recycled timber. I mostly just want to find a place to live alongside people with similar interests to me. I like to go out and party/dance from time to time but am definitely no party animal. Sherwin - I like getting out into nature whenever I can, being active, making people laugh, being genuine, and having long conversations. I like attempting to play an acoustic guitar in my free time, as well as meditation, and reading books about spirituality. I like to keep things tidy but am not fussed if things get a little messy from time to time.
Hi there, I have moved from Sydney to Melbourne for work and needing a place to live amongst some cool Melbourians. I am respectful of other people's space but like to have the occasional chat or two. I do my fair share of housework and tidy after myself, however, if there is a roster, I can work with that. I generally like listening to podcasts, getting back into writing, sketching and bike-riding. I am keen to share a meal or a drink on occasion whether at home or out and about.
I’ve been overseas for 18 months. Originally from Melbourne. Looking for a room for 2 months. Easy going and at the same time tidy and respectful. Love to laugh have a few drinks and at the same time into fitness. As part of my travels spent 2 months in India doing yoga.
Hi there! My name is Clarissa and I'm 21 years old looking to move out from my current place to save money! I'm hoping to move end of Feb or start of March, so if your place is available for then please let me know! I'm looking for an unfurnished room which can fit a double bed and desk. I am currently working full time at a Finance firm in East Melbourne and studying Accounting part time. I can be quite the workaholic so most nights I get home late or I'll be at uni. So I would preferably like to live near public transport, I do have a car but not high priority to take with me if there's no parking. I am easy-going, friendly, quiet, tidy and reliable. I am more than happy to socialize and help around the house but also happy to keep to myself. I'm no party animal but loves a good chat or hangout. Unfortunately I'm allergic to cats and dogs so unless they're a hypoallergenic breed, I can't live with pets :( I go mountain biking on weekends and love yoga, Netflix, baking and can be easily pursuaded to order a cheeky Ubereats or Foodora. Although I'm looking for a home, I'm also hoping to make some lasting friendships! Feel free to message me for more information! :)
