Hey, I am currently studying @ MIT for a Business degree, also have a casual shift work job. I need to find someone to share a place with me and my 2 guinea pigs. I am someone who will clean up after themselves and can cook a bit... :) Mostly, don't want to live by myself anymore because I am still in my first in Melbourne and still have no friends. So be prepared for some socialising and Netflix sessions.
Hey there future roomie/roomies! My name is Brooke, I’m 26, and I would like to think I'm a pretty cool chick. I'm originally from sunny San Diego, California and have traveled quite a bit in my time on spaceship Earth. With the urge to explore the planet I was offered the opportunity to help launch a company in a city I have always wanted to move to and I relocated a week ago. My interests are pretty varied. I am a definite foodie so I think it's safe to say I will feel at home trying all Melbourne's fantastic cuisine. I also love going to see live music sets, vintage shopping, and long walks wondering the city, but also cuddling up with a glass of wine and watching Netflix with a friend. My schedule is pretty flexible. I have an office space in South Melbourne, but I will also be working from home as well as trying out many cafes around the city to get my work done. I plan to travel a good bit so there will be weekends and weeks where I won't be at the house as well. :) I am a very respectful, get along well with others, and am used to sharing common spaces as well as keeping them tidy. Melbourne is a new city for me, so I would love to move into a place where we can create a comfy home and have some adventures together!
Hey everyone, I’ll be moving to Melbourne sometime in November from Chicago. Looking for a temporary stay for about 3-4 months. I like to go out a lot, try new cuisines, bars, exploring cities. Prefer separate room and bathroom (Cannot share anymore😁, been there, done that during college)
Hey I'm Gel! I work full time as a training manager and store manager at a clothing store on chapel st! This is a womens fashion store, i have a plethora of clothes so if you ever need something to wear on the weekend hit me up haha. I work 40-50 hours a week tuesday-saturdays. During my work week i take it pretty easy, On the weekends i am usually out with friends. Otherwise I love to have a drink at home and hang out. I also love to cook and spend a bit of time in the kitchen :) I have a passion for plants, food, music, sewing and my work! I'm a pretty social person and can get along with everyone! I also like my alone time and am very respectful of Others. I moved out of home a few years ago so I have experience living with others :) I am looking for a medium-large private room, if it has robes that would be awesome but not essential, just room for a rack and cupboards. I have all my own furniture, i also have a washing machine if needed, and other furniture if needed at the house (including a grouse couch). I have listed st kilda/prahran area for work, but also carlton/fitzroy because i love this area and know it well. My move date is flexible, I am looking to move out end of october but can move a bit earlier then that and also up until the end of november if required. I am really looking forward to hearing from you! If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact me :) Thanks!
I’m a barista who’s just moved down from Brisbane. I’m quite the social butterfly who prefers to go out adventuring the city so won’t be spending a huge amount of time home but when I am home I prefer a quiet, happy, social environment. Always down for a few social drinks with my housemates but not looking for a “party house” as my work requires early morning and weekend work. I have previously shared a house with up to 6 other people so I’m used to maintaining a clean environment and general consideration of the other people in the house
Hello, all you lovely people! 😌 I’m currently looking for a (preferably furnished) private bedroom, located within the city, or surrounding suburbs. My budget is between $180-$200/week (inclusive of all bills). I’m also open to teaming up! Here are 3 very basic things about me: - currently a full time student at RMIT - non-smoker - pretty amazing human being, when not buried neck deep in assignments 😌 (otherwise, very quiet 🤭) Feel free to get in touch with this potato, if you’d like to add her to your snuggly patch of organic vegetables! 🙋🏽♀️
Hello everyone! I am a backpacker from Spain on a working holiday visa so I am just looking for a cool place to stay for a couple months in Melbourne. I don't mind sharing a room so let me know if you are interested! :) About me: easygoing, openminded, organized and clean. I'm a guy who loves outdoors but i'm always down to hang out for drinks and party
Super open minded, easy to get along with, and down for anything! You can find me napping on the beach or jamming out at music festivals :) Even though I'm go with the flow I am also very conscious and respectful of other people's wants/needs. Planning on moving to Melbourne in October to stay for about 4 months, hoping to meet lots of cool people and see lots of cool things.
Hi ! I'm Mathieu and I'm a 24-years-old student from France. I will be moving to Melbourne very soon (probably at the end of october). My school asks me to work for 3 months minimum in a other country to validate my engineering degree. So that's why I decided to move to Australia, I always planned to go there once in my lifetime. As a roommate I am very easy to live with, and I guess I am very friendly too. I also enjoy my own space. I'm really interested in meeting people, and above all, I really want to discover the australian life.
*need a cat friendly home I'm a naturopath student at endeavour college of natural health, I'm at uni 2-3 days a week. I like to keep to myself and prefer quiet, peaceful environments but don't mind socializing or helping out around the house. I have my own bed, bookshelf, draws and some kitchenware. I have a tortishell cat, violet, who I recently adopted and like me, likes to keep to herself and is no hassle.
Hi everyone! My name is Nynke and I'm a 23 year old dutchie. I'm moving at the end of November to Melbourne to work and live there for 3/4 months and travel afterwards. I'm a social and chill human being who love to interact with other people. I prefer to have a room in CBD or St. Kilda. But I have an open mind for other places.
Hey! My name is Eefke, 27 years old and I'm from Germany. I love traveling and getting to know new cultures and meeting new people! After just having finished my bachelors degree in architecture at the beginning of this year, I started traveling and would love to continue this great opportunity with the working holiday visa I just received and get to know Australia! I chose Melbourne as a starting point with its grand variety in culture and city life and the ocean nearby. I love nature and exploring outside, cooking together and am into music, dance and art. Growing up with four siblings and a cat, I love company and value a good community! Nevertheless, I respect that everyone needs to take time to themselves and that a clean environment is important for an easy going living together. I am looking forward to meeting you!
Hi there! My name is Rick, a student from the Netherlands heading to Melbourne to do an internship at University of Melbourne for three months. I'm used to living with fellow students and very much prefer to do so in Melbourne too. I'm easy going and can be tidy too. I like to hang out with friends and grab a beer or play a game, to sport (mountainbike) and I am planning to do some trips while in Australia. Really looking forward to coming to Melbourne! I'm fine with sharing a room. I will arrive in Melbourne at 2nd of October. Feel free to contact me if you would like to team up or if you are looking for a new roommate!
I'm moving to Melbourne from London on the 1st October with a view to spending 2 to 3 months working either in engineering or something more casual. I'd ideally like to find a place to live with a few others who would be up for socialising, a couple of drinks, or generally exploring Melbourne. I value living in a clean and tidy environment and enjoy cooking. I like to keep active, and intend to get involved with cycling and rowing whilst in Melbourne.
So I'm moving to Melbourne and moving out of my house for the first time ever. *Cue dramatic music* Could be a scary thing but I'm sure I'll find a flatmate or two (it could be you reading this right now) who would end up becoming my best friend(s), and we could have the best time ever! So what do I like? Well, I love Technology (huge Apple fanboy), Football (so I would be staying awake late to watch some matches), watching stuff on YouTube, binge-watching shows, travelling, and playing sports like football, basketball, and table tennis. I do enjoy gaming, playing boardgames and love a great cup of coffee. When it comes to music, I've recently got Drake's Scorpion album on repeat! If you don't like that kind of music, don't worry, I love a lot of different genres :) Keeping my space clean is really important, and also having some privacy from time to time. I would be going to Melbourne School of Design to study Digital Technologies starting February 2019, so finding a place close-by would be great! Can't wait to hear from you! :)

I am a postgraduate Biomedical Sciences student from The Netherlands. From February on, I am going to do my research internship into Dementia in The Royal Melbourne Hospital for 6 months. During my internship I am looking for a shared home. I like being surrounded by other people to eat (I like to cook =)), sport, watch Netflix or explore the Australian culture and country together. However, I also appreciate quietness and peacefulness. Sharing living room, bathroom and kitchen is no problem.
Hi everyone! My name is Aleksandar and I'm a computer science masters student from Austria visiting Melbourne for half a year in order to work on my thesis with the nice folks at RMIT and explore Melbourne and Australia. When I'm working on my stuff I tend to be quiet and busy with my thoughts, however I do enjoy socialising, exploring my surroundings and just having a good time when I'm free :). I also prefer to have everything around me tidy and clean. I'll usually spend most of my days either working on my pc, or exploring the city. Oh and I'm into photography, travel, design, etc. (too much stuff to add here :D )
Hi ! I am Anil , I am studying in this semester in Monash Uni. so as you can guess i need a place to stay :) I graduated from civil engineering before coming Melbourne i worked at a Company as a civil engineer then i changed my mind and now i am on data things:) so i started to study Data Science in Monash and working part-time as well. I am living in shared houses since i started high school so i am really used to live in this kind of environment. I lived with many people from different cultural backgrounds. I am an easy going, cheerful, friendly, social and responsible individual and prefer to have a evening chat with my dear flat mates and of course a beer can be great :) I am chill and clean person and totally respectful for my housemates. So i search for a place which is clean and filled with friendly and respectful people :) I am trying to follow up all news and documentaries about cutting edge of science. I can live always with a music playing background of my life :) Generally down tempo house music but almost all types of music have master pieces so if you are a keen music listener probably we will have so much things to share. I will always be appreciated for a good movie advise that I haven’t watched yet. It is like giving me a good time for 2 hours :) By the way, I just wrote the positive things about me and there is one more thing that i am not a native english speaker and i came to Melbourne 3 months ago so if we meet , I will probably be asking for the meaning of any word in Australian slang and I hope you don’t feel yourself like a dictionary :) Oh one more thing, I am a terrible cooker. If it sounds like a match for your house, just let me know to arrange a meeting for additional details Hope to see you :)
