Hi all! I'm looking for a room in a share house, and looking to move in as soon as possible. I'm hoping to find a place not too far from the city, but other than that I'm not too fussed on the location. About myself, I'm a full time student and studying social work at RMIT. I also work part time. In my spare time I'm usually just doing the usual stuff, watching Netflix, seeing friends, eating food. I like to think I'm great to live with, I'm very tidy and not too loud and this is something that is important for me in other house mates. I've been living in shared accommodation for the past year and so I understand how it all goes. I'm hoping I can join a great group of people, and become good friends with the people I live with. I'm looking for somewhere I can stay long term (because moving sucks).
I am joining the Uni of Melbourne for a Masters Programme, reaching on the 14th of February. I was looking for a place in or near Parkville with peaceful, likeminded, hygienic minded people. I am a clean and tidy guy who respects people as well as their privacy. I am very peaceful and am an ardent believer in Trance Music. I believe in spreading and sharing good vibes only. I can provide a helping hand if and when required and also bring a smile on their faces when really required :) I love to hangout, socialize and make new memories 🔥💯
Hi there! We are an easy going and calm couple from Berlin. We've been living in Melbourne for the past 9 months and are looking for a place to finish our stay at. Sebastian is a visiting researcher at RMIT, pretty much all day at Uni. Anna is a freelance Illustrator and graphic designer mostly working from home. We are already quite settled so we are not looking for a party house but we enjoy hanging out with our flatmates from time to time, going to concerts, good food and art.
I'm Karen, a full-time working professional for an organisational culture management company as a risk engineering consultant and Matt is a full-time student at Victoria University. We both just moved down from Brisbane about a month ago so keen to meet new interesting people and make friends! :D We like to talk about current events and discuss them to share ideas and viewpoints while also being real goofballs and giggling over the dumbest shit. We love animals!!! So if you have a pet, no problem! I had 16 dogs at one point of my life, and Matt is a cat-cuddler professional. We're hoping to get a place that is warm and welcoming but also allow us to have our own space. Matt is very warm and happy while I can get a little bit locked up in the room playing video games to get my happy barometer up :-) We're not in a rush to move into anywhere, so we will take our time to pick a great spot but if you think you're awesome and would love to hear more about us, just let me know!
Hi!!! I am 24 years old moving from Sydney. I am going to start a PhD with CSIRO in Parkville, Melbourne on March 26th and looking for a good place to stay near the tram line 19 or close to public transport. I worked full time at a biotech company in the last 2 years. I will be at work most of the time. Sometimes, I need to travel to Sydney for the project as well. I am a friendly, easy going, organised, polite, social and clean person. I love to go to the beaches and go bushwalking on the weekend in good weather. I like to travel around the city and country, looking for good restaurants, cafes and fresh produces. I am a huge Marvel fan and enjoys watching movies. I also love to cook, trying out new cuisine and ingredients. I usually cook to share. This will be my first time living in Melbourne and I hope I can find some housemates who know all the good places. Please message me if you have a good room.
Hey! So I'm currently a full time student at Uni Melbourne studying Biochem and Molecular Biology. I'm crazy organized and a lil ocd about messes , though I'd like to think I'm a pretty good cook! I am friendly and at times a little socially awkward. Looking for a place to stay till my undergrad degree is done!
My name is Leo, and I’m a 2nd year Arts student at University of Melbourne majoring in Psychology and Philosophy, and studying Japanese through breadth. Outside of my degree, I also study classical piano with a teacher at the Australian National Academy of Music, and so music is extremely important to me (I enjoy most kind of music, however particularly classical, and also house&techno). I’m very much left leaning in my politics and accepting of all others, yet I always love a good debate. I’d love to be sociable with housemates, and share a conversation and a drink, but also keep to myself when work needs to be done. I have spent a lot of time living alone in the past year, and as such, the necessities such as cooking and cleaning come naturally to me and are of no great worry–– I definitely even enjoy cooking from time to time, particularly Japanese cuisines. I have just recently returned from studying in Tokyo for 2 months as well as a little bit of travel in India.
I work full time in children's publishing and also write my own kids' books. I love a good chat, a good meal, but every now and then a little quality time to myself. I can bring with me to your home a lovely array of houseplants, so that's a bonus.
Hey team - I am on the lookout for a quiet, well looked after and conveniently located house until June, at which point I will be departing on exchange. This is my fifth year in Melbourne and my final year of undergraduate studying art history and criminology at Unimelb. Additionally, I am currently working part time as a tutor at one of the residential colleges, teaching undergraduate art history, politics and crim. As to a bit about me, I am originally from New Zealand, where I completed high school and before that Hong Kong, where I was born. My passions are for art, film and fashion and by extension, unending appreciation for a well designed and considered space. As a flatmate I am housetrained, considerate and know well to respect the space of others, you certainly won't have to worry about bills not being paid on time nor extra mess on my behalf. I appreciate you taking the time to have a read, I am ready to move at a moments notice and always look forward to the chance to meet new people so by all means get in touch. Cheers! Nick
Hi, I'm Jack, a 23 year-old qualified botanist (BScHons) that enjoys gardening, cooking and bush walks on weekends. I work full time as a consultant in Port Melbourne and am currently living in Kingsville. As my lease is coming to an end, I'd like to find a place close to work. Lets catch up for a chat!
We are a pair of friends looking for a short stay in Melbourne - until we get on our feet and find a job/house. (Could be a long stay) Our arrive date is 18th April roughly and willing to pay one month advance in rent. We also have a mini dachshund making the big move with us, she is very very loved and will definitely provide the snuggles needed. I’m jas A little about me I consider myself a hard worker and motivated, quiet (at first), independent, sociable but also enjoy my own time, domesticated and down to earth. Loves a bit of banter. Kara is a hard working, motivated and quiet person also, absolutely adores Kaddie(puppy). We both will bring positive vibes to the household on our new exciting adventure. If you need anymore information Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Hey! My name's Hannah and I'm turning 21 this year. I'm originally from Bendigo but have been living in Melbourne since 2015. I'm in my third year at RMIT studying a Bachelor of Criminology/Psychology which I love! I also work part-time in retail so I lead a pretty busy lifestyle due to studies and work. In my eyes, animals are the best thing since sliced bread and I also love a good Netflix session (who doesn't!). Over the past two and a bit years I've had experience living with housemates, and respect people's needs whether that be for privacy or cleanliness. I love a clean house and also enjoy having a chat. I'm a bubbly and easygoing person, and am always available if anyone needs someone to rant to or wants advice! My partner is Alex. Alex is also turning 21 this year and works full-time. He is also studying a Veterinary degree online, so clearly a huge fan of animals! Alex also loves to travel and enjoys the warm weather. Like me, Alex has a positive personality and is super easy to talk to, but respects people's needs for space, cleanliness and privacy.
Am from Mauritius and a nice, both introverted and extroverted person and tidy housemate with a bubbly personality who gets along with everyone and treats everyone just the way i would like to be treated.I used to rent with others and was great experience .I want to share rent with someone now who can share rent and bills together and get along well.I want to save money and travel more often to see my parents as growing old and cannot travel here. I like catching up with friends outside home so I don't disturb my housemate and I respect space and privacy of others.I Dont mind friends coming over as long as not loud and regular Am happy to teamup as well Thanks for reading Pam
Hello on lookers, fellow flatmaters. My name is Maddy and I'm currently a student at RMIT studying my second year of Game Design! From country NSW, I'm currently seeking for somewhere to live with my dog, finding some good, genuine people. House-wise, any place closer to Melbourne's CBD would be ideal (although being further out I don't mind), near transport into Melbourne with possibly a backyard or park nearby. I'm quite a relaxed and easy going person, I do like my own time but do enjoy being within the company of others. I'm clean with my belongings and respectful with others and love to just have an eye opening conversation. I'm also an animal admirer and creative soul. I'm hoping to find others who are respectful and inclusive! I would prefer to be in an all female house but don't mind if it's mixed. I have a 1 1/2 year old Border Collie with me; so still a pup but if I'm able to find flatmates who will treat her like a member of the family, there's no doubt you'll love her just as much as I do. She may need some time to adjust to another dog, but is generally friendly with cats and gentle with children. As of the 17th of March she will be joining an obedience class. In addition to the doge, I have a Bearded Dragon called Benni. Benni's pretty cool and is almost 2 years old.
I'm clean, considerate and pretty easy going. I generally do my own thing but also enjoy socialising and having a chat over a beer or wine or enjoying a meal together. I work hard during the week and I'm in to fitness, cooking and reading. If I'm not working on weekends, I usually keep it pretty chilled and catch up with friends.
I am a registered nurse born in New Zealand (have spent 28 yrs there). For fun I like to keep fit, learn new skills, do outdoor activities, annoy my cats back home, volunteer for animal shelters and meet new people. Also spend a lot of time helping friends and family. I love anything creative including creating art. At home I am considerate. Clean. Responsible. Friendly. Introverted but also enjoy chats and outings with housemates and deep conversations. INFJ. Honest. Reliable. Pay rent on time. Productive. Respect people and their values and their space. Open minded. Super friendly (not in a weird way haha), easy going laid back personality. No drama. I don't smoke. I don't throw parties. LGBT friendly (I am gay). Looking for a place long term 😊
Easy going, respectful, clean and tidy. 30 year old professional: Emergency/Critical Care Veterinary Nurse. Loves a chat after work, cooking, going out for dinner/drinks, exploring the city and meeting new people.
Hi there I'm very easy going, non judgemental and easy to get along with. I'm a Registered Nurse and work full time during the week and enjoy some down time during the weekend. I would prefer to live in a household that values cleanliness and keeping things organized and tidy.
Hi, we´re a colombian couple studying commercial cookery here in Melbourne. We´re very friendly and easy going, don´t smoke and like quiet and clean places to live. We love biking, frisbee ultimate and almost all types of music.
Hi I are from Perth. My wife and daughter will remain in Perth while I to Sydney to work for 3 months. Work is a little slow over here in Perth and the opposite in Sydney. I will be working as much as possible including Saturdays. Leaving early in the morning to start work. I install Elevators and Escalators and will be working for Otis Elevators. Not sure what I will be doing in my spare time there. I like to ride bikes or maybe get a gym membership to keep myself occupied.
