I'm from Japan. I came here as an exchange student. I'm currently studying at Deakin University. I'm looking for a private room with furnished. I need to stay by the end of February or beginning of March.
I am originally from Denmark and have lived all over Europe and the States. I have traveled a lot as well and had many different types of roommates. I am very flexible when it comes to noise restrictions. I love to have a good time and am very social, however alone and quiet time is also very important. I always keep my stuff neat and clean my dishes immediately after use. I'll also gladly take out the trash!
Hey! I'm Louise, I am 26 years young! I'm a fun and friendly melbournian primary school teacher. I live for brunch, I would not call myself energetic but I love going on adventures and enjoying what Melbourne has to offer. I enjoy going out on the weekends and I also enjoy staying in with netflix and some trashy reality TV, a drink or two and some good company. I have lived in flat shares before in London, and understand the importance of looking after communal areas, but I am in no way a neat freak. I am looking for a home where I can hopefully find some new friends, not just a room.
Moving to Melbourne in February to start studying at the University of Melbourne. I am from Perth, enjoy cooking, live music and various other things. Hoping to find some other people in a similar situation that may want to team up, hit me up peeps!
We’re an English couple from Manchester, looking to settle in Melbourne for a few months after 3 months of travel around SE Asia. Will both be working full time, probably in bar work but maybe in an office (engineering and marketing). We’re sociable, friendly and definitely up for sharing with some likeminded fun people!
Hey there potential new housemate! I'm Hayley and I've just graduated from an accounting degree. I am moving in Jan 2018 from Sydney to start full-time work with NBN. I have been renting a granny flat since June 2016 so you needn't worry about someone who won't pay their bills or keep the house clean. In my free time, I love watching live music, watching crime shows and reading. I do not smoke nor do I have pets but do not mind if flatmates do. I am always up for a chat or night out but am quite happy to stay home also. Can't wait to meet you! I am only available for inspection from 24th - 28th Dec, or after Dec 29 as I am still working over the Christmas period but have a few days off. A video tour would be preferred.
I'm very open minded and easy to get along with. I work with young children so some personal attributes that come along with that is my patience, kindness, creativity (at times), spontaneity and flexibility. I'm not one to cause issues, I usually just go to work and gym and when I'm not doing that I try to socialise with friends outside of the house. My main passion is fitness, in particular, strength training and mixing in some cardio for good health. Finding a a flat mate with a similar passion/ interest would be amazing! If you like to eat relatively healthy, that's an added bonus for me because you can keep me on track with healthy eating habits. In return I can help in trying to keep you motivated to train which may mean a casual cardio adventure such as the memorial track walk. I like to keep tidy so I'm hoping to find someone that is the same. Oh and on another note, I am allergic to cats and honestly not that much of a fan. However I do like large breeds of dogs but not so much the small breeds. Anyway that's just a little about me, I'm hoping this helps so I can find a flatmate with similar traits and interests.
Im a 30 year old Dutch girl moving (again) to Melbourne. Ive lived in this city for a few years but moved back to Europe. Ive been travelling for about 8 years, but finally want to make Melbourne my home. Ill be studying a degree in Health Science and working. I love a healthy lifestyle but as well a couple of drinks sometimes. I'm clean, easy to live with and a respectful. Pls let me know if you would like to know anything else. Claire
24 yo F, recently graduated doctor ~ 1 year ago. Have lived alone for 1 year which has been great but am looking for a bit of company, and to move somewhere closer to the city. I am clean, respectful of privacy and personal space, and friendly. I work a lot - often doing shift work - and I spend my days off out and about meeting with friends/taking day trips/brunching. Ideally looking to move in with 2-3 other people. I do have a car, and I come with a lot of my own furniture. Give me a message if I sound like what you're after in a roommate!
Personally I am pretty easy going, am Australian but have lived in the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, France and Sweden, like music, travel, reading, vegetarian food (I don't care what you eat, though. I mean if it's really weird I might judge, but I promise I'll do it silently), podcasts, trying to keep up my French, running and entertain myself by following the trainwreck that is American politics right now. Professionally I'm an electrical engineer (but one of the ones who talks to people, I swear!) going to be working at Telstra next year - if you've had a terrible experience with them I am so sorry, please don't hold it against me! I've previously house-shared with one other person and 9 other people before so have a decent range of experience, am now looking for either a room in a household where vacuuming happens at least sometimes and people clean their dishes before leaving the kitchen, or to team up with someone and rent a place nearish the CBD. Prefer no pets with free rein of the house as sadly I have allergies.
I'm a 25 year old PhD student at unimelb looking for something closer to uni so I can focus on my passion for sleeping in. The PhD money isn't a lot but it's more than enough to cover the bills and its secure for the next three years. I like live music, singing and dancing (objectively bad at both), cocktails, board games, beer, film and tv, naps, and hummus. The main thing I'm looking for is cool, laid back housemates that I can get along with, have a beer or three and hang out with, share the occasional meal etc. I like to keep to myself and do my own thing sometimes but generally I love being social, although I'm typically pretty quiet and introverted until you get to know me. Also I'm hella gay. (That's a lie I'm just regular gay). I could also bring (or not bring) a couch, table and chairs, and a tumble dryer that's like 6 star energy efficiency so it's pretty cheap to run.
Hey there future housemate :-) Just a little info about me- I work in retail/hospo and study naturopathy full time. I love dancing, the beach, going to terra madre and drooling at everything and trying new food places. My friends tell me I'm a "chill introvert who has good meme taste and is tidy" if that adds to anything? I am a super tidy person, can vouch for that! I'm looking for like-minded health conscientious people to live with (preferably). I'm also looking for a clutter/carpet free and mould issue free place due to allergies! If I sound like your type of housemate shoot me a message :)
I'm a software developer working in Docklands (not a bank, dw :-P), originally from NSW (Coffs Harbour, if you know it), and a lapsed physics major. Also, Mao (my cat) is friendly with humans and dogs (with a little coaxing). Primarily interested in a team-up with 2-3 people. Personally, I'm easy-going, tidy (shared areas, I'd be lying if I said my room was spick and span), and like music, chilling with a glass of wine and a good book, cooking, building things and watching the various social and political trainwrecks in motion (like is a strong word). I'm reasonably quiet and like a sharehouse that is too (noise after midnight on a worknight isn't ideal. Morning isn't as much of a concern, as I'm off to work pretty early). Also, bonus features: an espresso machine, Netflix subscription, pretty decent at baking.
I'm a very social, bubbly person and love meeting new people. I grew up in Country Victoria but have always loved the city. I'm great to live with because I'm easy going and always up for fun but always responsible and lead a healthy lifestyle. I work full time in a gym and I'm also a dancer so I am fairly busy. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends/family, going on road trips, going to the beach etc. If there's anything else you want to know about me, just ask :)
Hey guys my name is Toby and I've moved to Melbourne from Perth (yes another one..) to study at UoM so looking for long term accommodation while I complete my studies. I'm a pretty easy going guy to live with although I do prefer tidiness within reason and a social household, I'm always down for a hangout/chat! In my spare time I like to stay active (running/gym), enjoy reading/writing, netflixing and social drinks. Looking to move in somewhere as soon as possible :)
Seeking a furnished room, bills and internet included in rent. I recently moved back to Melbourne after a few years in Brisbane. I commence full-time on 18 December and hope to study counselling part-time in 2018. I am generally quiet, easygoing and respectful of others' space. I am a bit of a "neat-freak" so am more than happy to do my share of cleaning, etc. I don't mind a drink, enjoy a chat, cooking, eating out, listening to people's stories, playing the guitar, music generally, reading and am a keen runner.
Hey there, I am a prospective student for MPH in one of the universities. A medical doctor by education, worked on health and disease prevention research and advocacy. Originally from Indonesia. I am a sociable and adaptable (due to my upbringing, since kid, I lived and moved a lot, in and outside my country) person who enjoys listening to music, dancing, reading books and writing poem in my spare time. I consider myself as an ambivert. Anything new (new things, new people, new place, new food to try) always excited and energised me yet I love the tranquility I found in silence. As clean, neat and aesthetically pleasing rooms recharge me, I tend to preserve my surrounding to meet that needs. Even-though my preference is a flat, I look forward as well to stay in a shared-space with you who I believe also considerate and responsible ;) I am looking for an accommodation that is between A$ 200 - 230 pw, excluding utilities and other bill fee.
Hi! I’m 29, full time marketing manager for a chocolate company (yes... I come with chocolate). Interests include food, cooking, music and sport/exercise. Looking for easy going housemates with a good sense of humour - up for an occasional wine and chat. I’m a happy, respectful and social person who works hard and is fully qualified at not killing house plants. Look forward to meeting you, if this sounds like what you’re after.
I'm a 24 year old professional working in data analytics full time. I'm currently looking for a place to move into in late January. I'm looking for a place in West Footscray, North Melbourne, Fitzroy, Brunswick, Yarraville, Richmond, etc. (I'm not that concerned with where, as long as closish to the city &access to public transport is around) I do contract remote book keeping on top of my full time job, so I have no problems with bills. I'm relatively quiet, although always willing to hang out with housemates. I also come with a Netflix subscription I'm willing to share. Most weekends I'm off exploring the city or trying something new (like a museum, a gallery or a cooking class).
I am a student at the Melbourne uni. I don't smoke, drink occasionally, I'm non-religious. I generally keep to myself, but love having a good time. I like to joke around, cycle, listen to music and study. I have a sweet tooth and it aches all the time so I walk around with candy... like Santa! When I'm not working, I am binging on lollies and watching movies on netflix. I am really tidy and like to keep my stuff organised.
