Hello, I'm sarah and I'm 25. I spend my spare time mixed between being out and about, binge watching reality tv and sleeping. I work in Moonee Ponds so ideally would like to be around that area. I don't mind being closer in towards the city, but I don't drive so I need to be somewhere that is within walking distance to the 59 tram line or the craigieburn train line. I work 6 days a week, so I like my quiet time when I'm at home. But I do like a drink or two every now and again! I’d respect your privacy and time alone but happy to go out and share a meal/drink or go exploring melbourne if we’re free at the same time. Ideally I want somewhere to live where I can leave my food in the fridge and beauty products in the bathroom and not be worried that they will be taken (Bad experiences in previous house shares) Id love a room with its own ensuit but not too fussy. The max I want to pay is about $200 a week.
Hi! I’m Dannica, and I’m a Melbournian working full time in HR. I love live music, fitness and enjoying good food/coffee/wine with friends. I’m relaxed, clean and respectful. I'm friendly and social, but also enjoy my own downtime. Always down for good chat over wine and a cheese platter!

Two English girls looking to enjoy Melbourne work life along with social antics. Always up for a pub quiz! Enjoy yoga and gym in our spare time. Looking for a fun, chilled and friendly place to live.😀
I am a 30 year old Aussie girl, originally from Albury. I work 9-5 for the government and in my spare time do yoga, read, socialise and spend the occasional weekend in the country. I have been in Melbourne for 18 months and have also lived in Asia, Sydney and London. I’m vegetarian but don’t mind others consuming meat! I’m looking for a relaxed home where I can be friends with my housemates but also have my own downtime and be independent.
Hello, I am a teacher living in Alice Springs and I am coming to Melbourne for term two. I am looking for something self contained and furnished. I am quiet, clean and respectful and enjoy the simple life - I love the country and will be spending some weekends away visiting friends in Castlemaine but am also looking forward to sampling the amazing food to be found in Melbourne! If you have a place that might be suitable, preferably with a bit of outdoor garden space, please get in touch. Cheers, Bess
I've been renting and sharing houses for over 10 years and so I'd say I'm pretty experienced at being a good housemate by now. I'm clean and tidy, respectful of others and their things, and although I'll be pretty busy, I like to be social and take an interest in the people I'm living with when the opportunities present. I'm working at the national science agency as a science communicator, which means I get to turn the science into interesting stories, and I'm also studying public health part-time at Uni of Melbourne. I've got lots of travel stories, I speak Spanish reasonably well, I like to be pretty active and to get out and about in Melbourne.
Hej! We’re looking for one or two rooms in a shared house or a small apartment from approx. 19.03 till at least 30.11.2018. We (33/34 y/o) are social, lgbt-friendly, non-noisy and easy to get along with. We know how to clean after ourselves, have lived in shared houses for a decade. We are looking for a peaceful place with nice roomies that feels like home and would enjoy having meals together/hanging out, but we of course respect other people's privacy. We enjoy being outdoors, cycling, hiking, yoga, photography, crafting, sports, lindy hop, reading. Annie teaches at UniMelb and Sebastian will work part-time/work on his dissertation. Fitzroy/Fitzroy North/Carlton/Carlton North/parkville/Abottsford would be nice, but we’re open to any area. Our limit is roughly 440AUD per week for the two of us. A furnished room would be great, but unfurnished might work, too. No smoking in the house, please. No annoying couple behaviour here! We're grown ups :). So if you have a room or know someone who does, shoot us a message! We'd love to drop by to have a chat whenever it suits you! Thanks! <3 Sebastian and Annie
To keep myself busy, I manage two businesses and a charity event. I fill my downtime with meaningful conversations, working out, yoga, reading, and podcasts. As a roommate, I've managed sharehouses and live in them for the past 5 years. I'm easy going, about an 8/10 on the tidiness scale, and understand people well. For all the chefs and fitness nuts out there, I've also got a bunch of cool gadgets that I'm happy to share. I'm looking for a place with easy access to the city and public transport. Bonus points for being close to the beach or park. If you'd like to know more, or team up to get a place together, shoot me a message and we'll arrange a time to talk.
I’m friendly, easy to get on with, lived in China for the past four years and I embrace and enjoy meeting people from different cultures. I hate cooking but I love eating, finding new and quirky cafes and enjoy a good laugh. I like a clean and tidy house but I’m not anal about it.
I’m a confident, sociable guy from England, looking to move to Melbourne very soon to find work (either part or full time) to save money for future travels. Preferably looking for a double room. I’ve been told i’m a very tidy person. I also like to think I can have a laugh and know how to have a good time! I am currently living in the outer suburbs with family but ideally this is very short term, so I would love to hear from everyone as soon as possible. Do not hesitate to message or call me
I am a Canadian working in Melbourne in solar and renewable energy. I'm a traveller at heart and love to meet people and make new friends. I'm a very easy person to live with, I like to keep things tidy, hang out with the people in the house, but also respect personal space. I'm not a huge partier, but do enjoy some fun. I also love to cook and bake!
It’s very hard to define myself as I am this and that for I could be I am not that and this at times as well. The best term I could come up with is I enjoy myself and enjoy others regardless. There is nothing I do or don’t, very open minded, love to listen others experiences or story, won’t judge or at least I try not to as much as possible, if myself coughts I or me doing that which once in awhile it’s likely happens, I laugh on me then drop it . Mostly I am within myself, don’t bother or safocate no one. My behaviour towards anyone is depending on their attitude towards me. In general, I do my best not to offend anyone, prefer to be remembered by the positive mark I leave behind, always forgive and love all the time. Gee, this question is so hard to answer with the most sincerity and complete openness.
Sociable kiwi couple who have just moved here after spending the summer at home and a few years in London prior to that. Enjoy travelling, sports, good food and good people around us. I am a Nurse and my partner is a scientist. I am starting at the Royal Children's hospital this week. As I am a shift worker we would prefer a quiet house with considerate flatmates. We are neat and tidy, laid back and enjoy staying at home as well as getting out and about exploring new places when we are off work. Please get in touch if you think we may be a good fit at your place. Ideally we would like to live within 20 mins cycling distance to the Childrens hospital. Thanks for reading G & G :)
I'm an international student from China, now studying at Melbourne Uni for master degree. Wanna move in at the end of April or beginning of May. (flexible) Not too far from Uni. Hope the roommates are about the similar age. I like films(especially old films), live music(why not to watch gigs together ?if you need someone with similar interest to hang out together, contact me!), coffee, cats...desire to adventure(although never did this). like to know people with different experience and stories. I would also like to team up! please be free to message
Hello All :) I've been living in Melbourne just over a month, and will be starting studying in the CBD in a few weeks. I'm looking to find a room in a place that's closer to the CBD (currently living in Clayton). I'm looking to move in with friendly people who don't mind a chat and a laugh. I'm very chilled and easy-going, and will be quite busy with my upcoming study. I also enjoy cooking, so that's something I'm willing to do in a shared environment. I can move in as early as mid January, but it can be as late mid February. I have a car, so I'll need a place to park (on the street is fine).
Grew up on Bendigo but came down here to Melbourne to study Graphic Design at RMIT University in June last year and I'm currently doing my second semester, I'm still fairly new to the city. Always down for a drink or chat although I can be shy at times. I go to the gym everyday at Anytime Fitness.
