Hi there, My name is Ivy and I am a fresh graduate from RMIT university. I am working semi-full-time (if there was such a word) as a freelance professional translator and interpreter which means I would be crazy busy at times, super chilled other times and cannot make any party plans until the last minute (life is all about spontaneity anyway right?). I also have a side job as a telephone interviewer in the city so I would prefer to live in inner suburbs. I could make Vietnamese food. If it helps.
I study IT at university of Melbourne. I like singing, music, making friends. I will cook food for my roomies:). I want to live with students or other women is ok. Please don't bring other people to home at night. You can have party at home, but don't forget to invite me:) Only lovely pets are allowed
Hey future roomies! I'm Em, 24, student/creative gal wanting to settle into a new home! I have just moved east side from Perth in early Feb so looking to make some new friends in the process! I'm studying Jewellery & Object design fulltime at Melb Polytechnic in Fairfield but an all round creative with interests in music, art, design, fashion, you know the drill! I love going to gigs and eating out & about; as well as plenty of down time at home bingeing Netflix and chats in the kitchen over wine & cheese. I'm LGBTIQ friendly, non-smoker but cool with people that do, been living out of home for 5 years so I know what's good. I solemnly swear to fill our house with cute decor, indoor plants and bake heaps of goodies! Happy to provide references if you like! I'm in temp accomodation at the moment and can move asap! XOXO
Looking for a last minute place to stay for a week or two! Anybody that can help me? Thanks in advance! Emily
Im very friendly, social but also like to keep to myself a bit. I wont be home all the time because i work full time and will be going back to school soon. I've lived in share houses for the past 4 years so i understand cleanliness, noise levels, privacy and respect.. whilst having a laugh :) Im into my fitness, movies for downtime and i worked as a chef for 9 years so i love a cook up.
I'm from England and came over just before christmas. I work for in a cafe but I am also doing a part time charity apprenticeship course and volunteer alongside. I am a easy going and fun loving person, I'm tidy but not obsessively so. I have friends in the area but I'm looking for a sociable house where I can chill out with in the evenings mid week but also have a beer with on the weekends. Hope to hear back, Fi x
I'm an international student, spanish, who has been living for almost 9 months in Brisbane and now wanted to move to Melbourne for live around 3 months, 2 months and a half. I'm a friendly and opened-mind person, I would like to find someone who is also like this. I'm 24 years old, so will be good to live with people who are around 21-30 years old. I enjoy do exercise and hanging out with friends.
Law student from Denmark on exchange at the University of Melbourne. Looking for somewhere I can stay until approximately late June. I'm ready to move in ASAP. I'm clean, tidy and easygoing and generally make for a good room/flat/housemate. I'll probably be busy with school and social stuff related to school/the exchange community for a considerable amount of time over the coming semester, but when I'm not, I'll be cool with hanging out, having a beer or just chilling. Don't mind living somewhere where it is a bit homely. Will be in Melbourne until late June. I've got savings and scholarships so I will always pay rent on time!
I'm an outgoing person who's been bitten by the travel bug and has somewhat developed into a social butterfly as well. I'm a postgraduate student taking up communications. I'm very easy to socialize with a cup of coffee (Melbourne has the best so far!) or a glass wine (Australian Shiraz is my go to). With postgraduate studies coming up, I may be very into it so I do respect everyone's privacy as well. I'm very neat and tidy, clean as I go kind of person as I like keeping things organized. I'm adventurous and eager to try new things may it involve different fitness activities like yoga or circuit training, or mind boggling stuff like board games. I love pets! Even if I don't have one of my own but still adore them a lot. Have had dogs and cats before. Looking forward to meet new flatmates who can show me around my new second home.
Greetings I have a short term place until March 31 and unsure as to whether I'll be allowed to continue in the place. Need a private room as one I'm a shift worker so I don't want to be sharing as I come in at odd times. Two, if I want to practice my nude moonwalking then privacy is paramount. The areas I am looking at are the inner north so Fitzroy, Fitzroy North, Northcote, Thornbury, Carlton, Collingwood, Brunswick East preferably. Ideally the room would be furnished as I'm not travelling with too much but ideally I wish I could live off my looks, so we have to make do with the cards we're given About myself I'm a Norwegian/West Indian guy with classic Nordic looks. My interests are travelling, live music, most sports, remembering random bits of useless information. Personality wise I'm humourless, surly, at times arrogant but I am housetrained, can cook, has experiences and reference living with other humanoids. Prefer to do my entertaining away from home but don't mind cool visitors. Having retired from riding the unicycle in a mankini while juggling chainsaws the insurance premiums are too high. Living with 2 others would be ideal as that tends to have the best balance. Inclusive would be better as it eliminates the shit from fighting over the bills, but as long as I'm living with good people then this can be negotiated.
Hi there, I am Peter, a 34 year old Melbournian looking for a place to stay long term. Having shared flats in the past, I would like to share again to have a good space to rest after work or the outdoors - and to enjoy the company of mates for a late brekkie or with a good glass of red at night. I am happy to share with guys or girls having done so before. Currently I am working full time as an analyst in the CBD - and otherwise love surfing, the outdoors and salsa. I do not smoke and I am used to cleaning regularly, sharing fridges and the kitchen and to respecting each others private space - and friends tend to say I am fairly easy going and pleasant to be around. If you think this sounds like the flat mate you’re looking for, I’d love to come by to get to know each other and find out more about the details. Cheers, Peter
I am a recent Commerce/Law graduate from Deakin University who is looking to move out from my family home. I am looking to move out sometime in the next few months - with no fixed date yet. Also I have no plans of moving back home - so I will likely not have a fixed end date for my stay either. I am a friendly and sociable person who can get along with anybody! I am also respectful of keeping quiet and cleaning up after myself.
Hi! I'm a 24 year old Canadian, here on a working holiday. I love to travel and explore. I'm pretty active - I love a good hike or run. I'm pretty neat - I especially like a relatively clean kitchen as I love to cook (and would love to cook for you!). I'm pretty social, and am almost always down to go grab a drink or go for a night out on weekends!
Motivated, clean, outgoing, I have my own handy man business in Canberra so I can fix anything :) I am studying for my business licence after work hours and am looking to relocate to Melbourne and grow my business there :) Oh and I would like my own bathroom if possible :)
Hi future roomie I'm Tomomi 33 yo, is working full-time in Brunswick:D love: baking, cooking, food, coffee, going to cafe, family and friends. I don't smoke:D I look forward to live my future roomies!!!!
Looking for a female ONLY 'happy house' with the following features: • Private room • Terrace ou balcony • Parking (for a scooter) • ONLY female housemates PLEASE --------------------------- About me: I'm a 26yo french girl who has been living in Melbourne for the past 4 years and do consider this place as home for a long term relationship - OMG I love so much this city!!! ♡ I'm a restaurant manager - which means I tend to be rarely at home during my working days but with the week-ends OFF I do make sure to use them wisely! I have never had any issues in a house sharing previously, I'd just love to be part of a female 'happy house' and being able (why not) to share a meal from times to times with a glass of wine or going out for a drink or more. I love socialising, meeting new people! If you're uptight, lazy and grumpy, you might not be the right fit. If you're positive, easy going and love for life - then I'm keen! Happy to join a 'happy house' anytime beginning of April or to team up xxxx
I'm into sparkly things and even shinier people. I'm a creative Teacher and I love what I do. I am currently doing a Post Grad. in Counselling one day a week and teach four days a week. I also make flower crowns for events on the side for fun! I've lived in share houses for 10 years and am very well house trained. I'm hoping to find a a place with like minded people who like a wine or six, but are functioning adults on school nights.

I'm travelling from Canada on a working holiday visa with my partner Alex. I'm a vet nurse, he's working in marketing management. We've been living and working in Cairns for the past 6 months and recently arrived in Melbourne. We currently have accommodations but are seeking a room for 2 weeks (March 6th - 20th). We are easy going, quite, clean, professional, down to earth people. Hopefully this short notice arrangement can work. Thank you
My name is Alex, I'm 26/f. I'm currently working as English language teacher. I like a relaxed home with a bit of socialising but I am also happy to live independently. Wine or cups of tea with housemates is lovely. I play music, I love the keys and singing. I practice yoga and I love reading. I've lived outside of Melbourne twice, in the tropics of Darwin and in Spain. I'm currently here in Melbourne, looking for a place!
I’m a 25-year-old Filo Registered Nurse and currently based in Perth. Moving to Melbourne this 15th of March to start a new job at Epworth Freemasons. I’m very tidy, easy-going and considerate, pretty quiet around the house but up for good conversation and drinks if you are.
Hi! I'm looking for an accommodation from March 12 and I would like to stay for a month if it is possible. I'm a 18 years old French girl, currently on a working holiday visa. I know that 18 seems young but I'm often told that I'm more mature than people that are my age. I've just left highschool last July and I wanted to take a gap year in order to travel so I can get to know more about myself, get out of my comfort zone and to grow up. I'm actually working as a fundraiser, from 7am to 6pm generally. I only work on week days and during the weekends I either rest or go out with friends. I would describe myself as someone extremely respectful and open minded. I'm also such a friendly and kind person, and I'm very clean and tidy. My main hobbies are photography, art and travelling. I also love to cook but unfortunately I don't have free time and the energy anymore to cook because my job makes my exhausted. However, I'm such a sociable person so I'm always up for a chat with my flatmates, I'm very easy going and would love share a bottle of wine with you! Don't worry, I'm also able to respect the privacy of my my flatmates. Let me know if you are ok to arrange an inspection so we can also meet each other. I look forward to hear from you, Cheers, Myrina
Hey! I moved to Melbourne late last year and I'm looking at finding new accommodation in late March-April. I'm really easy going, get along with most people and am pretty clean/tidy. I love the beach, reading, working out and hopefully a new place that lets me explore some more of Melbourne. I'm 22 but please don't let my age put you off. I'm apparently very mature for my age so you wont be living with a party animal. I discharged from the army last year and I'm planning on studying next year. I'd love to take this year to see the sights, meet new people and hopefully travel a fair bit. I like my own space occasionally but I'm always up for a chat, drinks or a lazy night. Basically I'm just looking to live with friendly, tidy and easy going people. If you have any questions feel free to ask :)
I recently moved from Vancouver, BC, Canada to Melbourne. I'm here on a one year visa and I'm currently looking for employment. I completed an MA in English Literature. I'm hoping to get into music journalism but I might end up with a barista job while I'm here instead. I'm friendly and empathetic. I keep a clean and well organized home. I've lived with male and female roommates for the last six years. I'm social but I'm content to spend time on my own too. I like to think I have great taste in music.
Hi, I'm Constanza I'm 27 I'm from Chile and I'm student. I'm looking to live in Melbourne around 18 months. I use public transport and I am good with pets. I am able to provide references from Melbourne if needed. sometimes is so difficult understand Aussie pronunciation, but each day I am better at understanding.
Hey! My boyfriend and I graduated university in England and after working for a few months went backpacking in Asia for four months which has been amazing. We're now arriving to Australia from the Philippines. We want to work and live in Melbourne because it sounds like a really cool and arty city to live in with a lot going on. We're tidy and have lived in house shares before. We're both laid back and friendly and are just looking for some nice people to live with for around 6-8 weeks from the second week of March (6th onwards) although we're a bit flexible because we both have family we can stay with for a bit. I enjoy running and going to the gym although actually I've done no exercise for like five months. I also like socialising and having a drink. I'm from Cornwall so I love a good beach as well. Ben's favourite hobbies are hiking and complaining. We both like a bit of yoga but we never do it! Pleaaase get into contact if you think you have any options that suit our dates. We're open to many options. Cheers!
Hi everyone! I'm Jas, a 25 year old straight male from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I am currently in my 3rd year of Engineering degree at RMIT. I'm looking for a place to stay with clean, fun and respectable housemates. In my free time, you can usually find me watching a TV series or two (Massive GoT fan here!) or reading a novel. I'm generally quite active and play soccer during the weekends. I am also extremely enthusiastic about winter sports (Snowboarding) and frequently do day trips to Mt Buller in the winter. I enjoy the occasional glass of wine, gin and tonic or whisky during the weekend and am quite sociable. I love meeting interesting new people. I come from a multi-cultural country and am very open to people of different creeds and backgrounds. I am neat, tidy and relatively organised. I'm also reasonably financially secure so I can pay bills on time. I think this makes me an ideal housemate at any rate! Hope to meet you soon. Cheers! Jas :)
Hey! My name is Amna. I'm 25 and from Sweden. I have studied a master of science programme in pharmacy at Uppsala University in Sweden. I'm a registered pharmacist who is moving to Melbourne to start my PhD at University of Melbourne. I'm looking to move in between the 15th and 20th of March. I'm big on socializing. Would describe myself as a friendly and positive person. I'm very open minded and love discussions concerning both politics and feminism. On my spare time I love hanging out with friends, going for dinners, dancing, being out in nature. I'm studious, and love reading when I have any time over. I have many great experiences living with other people, both in Sweden and abroad, and have become a really close friends to my previous room mates. I'm both tidy and clean and always makes sure to pay rent and bills on time.
Hey, I’m Jake. I’m 22 and Moving to Melbourne from Adelaide in March to work a full time finance job in the city. I’m looking to either find an established share house or start a new place with 1 or 2 lovely people around the same age. I’m like to think I'm pretty easy-going and promise to not annoy you too much. I always appreciate some down time during the week to relax with a decent movie, indulge in a solid TV binge or chill with some good music, but I'm equally looking for people willing to share a few laughs, a couple of drinks and some nice food from time to time. I’m respectful and I like to think I'm pretty clean and tidy (without being a freak). If I sound like someone you could put up with, feel free to drop me a message!
Hi everyone!! I am an Italian student who's going to study Design at Monash Uni - Caulfield Campus for the 1st semester. I'm really respectful, clean and tidy and I do respect privacy. I had been working as an aupair in Sydney for 6 months so I do not mind cleaning or cooking for my flatmates. I am a really outgoing and openminded person: I like to socialize, have fun, go out for a drink or for a live concert. I love any field of art and I am always excited for organizing trips during the weekend. Although I am still focused on studying, I really want to take the chance to explore Melbourne. I would like to personally see the place before paying deposit. I'll be in Melbourne from the 13th of Feb so we can arrange an inspection!
Hello Potential new House mate! I’m not one to toot my own horn so I have asked some of my friends to send me reviews. After receiving those reviews I have carefully selected, edited and fluffed them to make them appropriate for this format ‘ A charming Goofball’, ‘What a guy!’, ‘Really good fellow to watch a movie or play a game with’, ‘can play the guitar’ I’m an engineer working my first full time job. I’m in the weird transition stage between uni goer and adult and I enjoy a good mix of intense fun having and super chilling. I sing in the shower and love musicals and theatre. I am living healthy, and gymming as often as I can. Wouldn’t mind getting into a sport if you’re game. I like board games and have a couple. I jam with my band on Sundays and play board games with them too. As you may have gathered by now, we have not broken America yet. Come watch us play. It will be our first live gig. I love cooking, riding my push bike and gaming as well. I have built myself a little beast of a PC and I’m thinking of buying the new Nintendo switch. Yes! A switch! Things that I have: a brilliant Koala mattress, a desk and a PC I’d like to move into a place that is unfurnished but am happy to move into a place that is furnished as well. I am really looking for like minded people of a similar age who are respectful, fun and wonderful people. I’m very excited to get to know you and start a new adventure!

Looking to move into a place with 1 or 2 other fun people. Am out most nights, either with friends, at the gym or rock climbing (my new favourite hobby)
I'd consider myself to be a very outgoing person. Very easy to get along with and very trustworthy. I currently live at home in Preston with my parents and younger brother. I am a decent chef at home and I occasionally cook dinner for my family. Im not often home as I do study full time at LaTrobe University studying business and work as a Shift Supervisor at Red Rooster. In my free time I do enjoy going out with my friends.
I've lived in share houses for quite some time, from 1 other person to 7 other people, so I've seen it all! I'm in school and working two part time jobs, so I'm pretty busy but always down for a chat. I'm tidy and neat in communal spaces and respectful of peoples privacy and schedules (i.e. when I need to be quiet). Happy to team up with others looking for a place as well!
Both working full time and able to pay bond asap. Jasmine is a hairdresser so cheap/free cuts! I work in hospo so will be bringing left over food home. Both sociable but not loud/party people. Love a good wine now and then

Hey! I'm currently looking into moving to Melbourne by the end of next week (11th March move-in date). A bit about me, my name is Besiat, 29yo from Sydney. I've been working as an RN for the last five years, recently I finished masters in international public health and was offered a job in Melbourne. Very excited for what's ahead. I'm easy going, down to earth, I like to keep the space clean, I enjoy good conversations and respect others space when needed. I'm considerate of others and expect that people are the same way towards me. I believe in open communication and honesty. I'm looking for a place in area's I listed. I will be free for inspection from 1st of March to 4th of March so if you happen to have place free available in that time, I will like to see it. Inbox me! :) xx
I'm clean and tidy and easy going. Will be working 9-5 and saving up money so I won't be going partying very much. In the evenings I'm happy to chill out and watch a movie or play video games with housemates, but I don't need constant social interaction and can occupy myself. Just want some housemates I can have a chat with and maybe go for a beer with now and again :)
Hello potential flatmates! I'm a 24 year old American who finished uni in 2015 and has been living abroad since then. I've been in Melbourne for 2.5 months now on a WHV and absolutely love it, so I'm planning to spend the rest of the year here. I'm looking for not only a cozy and clean place to call home, but also for some open, fun and interesting people to call friends! I will be working as much as possible and studying a little bit casually on the side, but I'd also like to get out to explore Melbourne and take advantage of all it has to offer. Besides that, I like to eat healthy and exercise, rock climb, dance, read, watch Netflix, and be outside. I do also like to have some time to myself, but would still always at least enjoy a nice chat or shared glass of wine. As a flatmate I am very self-aware and conscientious, I always clean up after myself, and I prefer to keep things organized. I can go with the flow of what your house has to offer: if you prefer to keep a calm and quiet household, that is totally me. If your house has a lot of foot-traffic and some fun on the weekends, I am up for that as well! Mostly I'm just out for a happy and well-connected place. I am flexible on the move-in date but am thinking it should be around mid-March or April, and I do require rooms that are furnished. Please, if you think I might be right for your spot, don't hesitate to contact me or ask me any further questions! Cheers :)
I have moved from Perth to Melbourne to study full time dance in Kensington. I like to be active and am used to living in a packed house hold as I am the youngest of 5 children. I love animals as I have always lived with them but wasn't allowed to bring any over with me unfortunately. I am vegetarian but grew up in a family of meat lovers so I won't try and convert you or anything crazy I promise. Am very neat and always tidy up after myself. Always keen for a chat and a laugh.
Hello. My name is Joel Buchanan.I am a 4th year student from Deakin University. I'm looking for a place close to the city as I work over 25 hours a week on Collins Street. I do enjoy a good night out but normally will be studying or working but don't mind if others have people round. I also love going to the gym and chilling at home watching a movie and having the odd beer.
Clean and tidy, fun, relaxed shift worker who fixes planes at Tullamarine. I like rock climbing and being active as well as relaxing with a beer after work. Enjoy gaming and netflix as much as the next person. Im new to Melbourne as of march 8th and am relocating from newcastle nsw due to work. Dont know many people around the melbourne area so a friendly social house would be awesome.
Hey I'm Amy, When I asked my friend what to write in this bio she said i was fun. Although it's true it's probs not the most constructive thing to say. I consider myself to be a normal human being: friendly, easy going, considerate and clean. Looking for a social household, respects others but also doesn't mind a chat or a cheeky bev. I work full time in HR, but outside of workla I like to go to gigs/festivals, drinks with friends, travel and attempt to keep active at the same time. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me a message :)
Hi! I'm from England originally but have been in Melbourne for over 6 years now and have finally got my citizenship lat year. I originally came over on a working holiday but then got sponsorship through my work as a software developer and kind of found myself building a good friendship base here and got used to the lifestyle and now I can't leave! I'm into music and make a bit of of it myself. I was in a soul band for two or three years and ended up recording an EP written by myself and my good friend Sarah, which I also recorded and produced on my laptop. That was more work than I thought I can tell you! I like to have some sort of music project on the go although it's taken a little bit of a back burner in the last year as I've been moving jobs and moved house. I'm starting to think about just getting back to playing some open mic style gigs. I'm currently living with a couple of friends in Coburg, but they are about to take a year or more out to go travelling around Australia so I'm trying to find somewhere new to call home. I love to meet new people of all kinds and consider myself to be fairly left-leaning in my views on the world. I studied Philosophy & AI at University, which admittedly was a while ago now but still find myself pondering... well, everything. I like going out for a few drinks from time to time but can't handle my beer like I used to. I'm currently working on a project developing a mobile application which i'm really enjoying!
Hi Guys, I'm Jerry from South Korea! I'm working full time in the city in marketing field. now I'm looking for a room to move in! Because my friend is coming from Korea. So we are two guys who are very humorous, humble, tidy, and like to make new friends! So If you have room for us, Feel free to contact me ! Thank you!
I'm making the move down to Melbourne from Canberra (but don't hold that against me) after graduating from ANU. I'm planning on working fulltime this year as a barista (I know, fulfilling every stereotype ever) and then doing post-grad study next year. I've lived in a share house before, I love cooking and I'm happy to do my own thing but also love a chat and the occasional bev.
I am fun and bubbly, love a great yarn but also love my alone time! Super respectful of peoples space but am also down for socialising. I have just moved down from Tweed Heads and am looking for a friendly easy going house mate/household to move into. I am a travel agent and work 9-6 Monday to Friday. In my spare time I like to have a few drinks and go catch a band or boogie at a club or the other extreme of binge watching TV series and getting my competitive on with board/card games.
HI! My name is Kirstin and I am not new to the share house thing :-) I am clean, hilarious (I like to think so) and I know all about personal space. I make a mean spaghetti bolognese and I know how to stack the sink after I've done the dishes! I am able to provide a rent reference if need be, I don't come with any pets or kids and am also able to pay bond upfront. Please get in touch with me if you have anything available! Thank you!
I am very easy going and usually will keep to myself, but I also enjoy a social drink as well! I have been out of home for 4 years so am used to the lifestyle. I am a very tidy and clean person and prefer to live with people that are the same. I work full-time which includes shift work. Moved to Melbourne about 9 months ago so like going out exploring when I can. Looking to move ASAP as my lease is about to run out. Would prefer to live with full-time workers.
