Hi there! I'm Sofia, a 24y.o. from Montreal, Canada who will be moving to Sydney in 4 weeks to start my Masters at USYD (exciting!). I've got a full scholarship with allowance to do a MPhil research in European Studies and I'm also hoping to get a position as a French lecturer with the French Department. I've been to Sydney now three times in the last three years and have really fallen for the city and the lovely friends I've made there... and the ocean, it's gorgeous. I particularly felt at home in the inner-west. I will be very busy nerding out at Uni for the next two years, but I'm also sociable and do enjoy hanging out with my roomies and a (or more) glass(es) of wine, and a good proper boogie to let the fire out once in a while. I look for a place that is clean and on the quieter side. I'd love a place I could call home, where I can hangout with the roommies once in a while, but still get lots of solo time. I'll only be in Sydney on February 4th, so I could either come meet and visit then or I could also do a Skype session some time beforehand. Cheers
I like keeping to myself and minding my own business (I'm a student, and I'm very dedicated to my studies). I love animals, and I don't mind helping out when it comes to pets. I love organising things so they won't get messy. I'm also currently learning how to cook (I am trying to be healthier though). I am friendly though (just introverted).
I'm clean, organised, friendly, and social. I'm originally from sydney, lived in perth recently and am moving back to study music. I work at a cinema and already have a position at a cinema in Sydney.
Hi, I'm Chen. I'm a two-year full-time postgraduate student in the University of Sydney and study will begin in March, 2018. I'm outgoing and friendly, neat and clean, and keep quiet at most of the time especially in the evening. In my spare time, I like doing exercise, watching movies and soap opera, and traveling. I like pets especially dogs, and I like golden retriever very much, but I don't have any pets and don't plan to have pets when I am in Australia. : )
Hi there! I am an eighteen year old female from rural NSW, of whom has always longed for a city life. Moving from my little town to Sydney is a big jump, so I'd love to meet some new friends who could help me get to know the city, or get to know it with me! I am friendly, neat, organised and trustworthy. I could spend an entire day in a bookstore and eat my weight in mashed potato. I am a vegan, but don't let that put you off :) I am set to begin studying anthropology (and something else that I haven't decided just yet) at the University of Sydney. I love to eat and be healthy, but balance that out with Netflix and pizza, from time to time (all the time). Living with me, I am quiet, clean and organised, and would mainly be focused on my study. I consider myself to be a peacemaker, liking to avoid conflict wherever I can. Though I'm majorly introverted, I do love to get out every now and then, and would not be opposed to brunch or a night out on the town. Really, I'm looking for some fun, friendly, preferably students like me, to live with, have a laugh with and whom I would hopefully become good friends. Thanks for considering me! :)))
A FUN, FRIENDLY human... looking for a quiet and relaxing place to unwind. Third year undergrad studying at University of Sydney. Loves to have a chat, and drinks a great deal of tea. Clean, tidy, housetrained. ~: * .
Hi, my name is Matthew and I'm a 21 year old graduate engineer from Mackay, Queensland. I'm moving to Sydney late January for work and am looking for a place to call home! I lived on college for 4 years and have shared a house short term during uni breaks, so am very familiar with living with other people and am very clean, tidy and respectful of privacy. I'm excited to live with people who are not only room mates, but also friends. I enjoy running, keeping fit, reading, playing the piano and having a few quiet drinks. I'm friendly, keen to meet new people, easy going and always up for a chat!
I'm a Software engineer working in Pyrmont who just moved to Sydney from New York. My hours are flexible but I'll probably be doing 9-5. Because my job offered to ship it, I come with a large TV. Chances are I'll spend nights playing my PS4 on it if I have nothing else to do. I seemed to have upset a lot of people by moving across the planet, so I guess I must be at least somewhat fun to be around. I keep a clean house and don't make a lot of noise if I know it bothers others. I put 6 months because while I intend to stay in Sydney longer, I am still getting a feel for the city and my commute, so I don't want to be tied down too terribly in case I prefer to change locations
We are super fun and clean roommates! We're travelling from Canada and going to the University of Sydney! We would love to live with people who like to go out and go on adventures.
I am 20 yo czech girl and I study english in Gold Coast now but I want to move in Sydney for my next english full-time course. I need some stay from March to July near my school which is in Murray street, Pyrmon - the best opportunity would be walking distance - if not so anything what is close to metro and takes there max 45 minutes. After my studies here in GC I will travel so the moving day is kind of flexible - just the school starts on 19th March so I would like to move few days earlier. Let's say between 14 and 18 March. The ideal stay will be around 4 months but it would be better to be little bit independent if I will change my mind to live in different place. The budget is $200-$300 max. I would like to live in clean, quiet and friendly place where I can feel comfortable. I would like to find friends there and not just flatmates. I like to have a chat at home, watch movies and sometimes I am just the couch potato and I spend time with surfing on internet or calling with my family or friends from Czech republic. Anyway, most of the time I spend outside with friends. Coffee, beers, lunch, beach, trips whatever. I live like that here because the weather is just perfect so then in Sydney it will depends maybe on weather :D. I also will find a part-time job. If you have a dog, it will be lovely. I miss mine so much.
Hi, I'm 23, working full-time in ophthalmology at Bondi Junction. Clean, tidy, quiet but friendly and love a good netflix binge
I am an international student of USYD who is often ready to make friends and help other people
Hello! I am social, respectful, and clean, and like to be friendly with housemates. Although I'm a PhD student, I will have a steady stream of income from an investment property in Canberra. I have never lived in Sydney before and will have fun exploring all the things. I love the beach, and hope to go all the time. Am also keen to find cool bars and places to eat, galleries and museums, and markets. Side note: Not fixed on 1 year or more. Am happy to live somewhere shorter term if that is what is available, and then scope out the Sydney rental market.
I give people space. I am a creative, hard working, curious and chill student who loves traveling and adventures! I am from Vietnam, I lived in Russia up till 17, I am studying in U.S. and coming to University of Sydney for study abroad. I love rock climbing, being out in nature, meditating, reading, learning about Artificial Intelligence. I am passionate about reforming Education in Vietnam and learning about cultures.
im reliable, down to earth and generally a nice person to deal with. Looking for a place from where i can walk to work (up to half an hr walk to World Sq. in CBD) or at least an easy commute...
I work from 8am until late in evening in a medical sales role and travel away interstate quite a lot. I also study in the evening (finance major). I use a meal prep delivery service for all meals so I wouldn't even need to cook and use kitchen heaps ect. I'm very clean tidy and respectful and also nice to chat to as well.
Hi Im Vivien, 24 years old, very quiet and respectful and extremely clean person looking for a share house/apartment. I have 3 little Scottish Fold kittens with me, they are very friendly, 100% toilet train and have their own litter robot which clean itself without any mess.
