Hey! My name's Atul (Aiden, if thats easier for you). I work full time and have recently landed an amazing role as a writer for a legal software company. What? ...You don't believe me? I guess I am some random on the internet so how about I do a piece and maybe tell you more about me at the same time? I was halfway through qualifying to be a lawyer (Was for 2 years, don't miss it) when I needed to find a new job. The good news? Lots of law work around! The less great news was that it was often for 3-6 months of "experience". My bills don't work like that so I ended up getting a job at the zoo. On my third shift, I was assigned to do the breakfast tour. This meant watching and learning before the breakfast guests showed up. Due to a bad bit of luck (Involving a cassowary AKA Murderbird) my boss and the other worker got locked out. I didn't know this at the time and couldn't leave the kitchen because of the security door. The closer the clock got to guest arrival time, the twitchier I got at thought of people starting the day off with no breakfast (I love breakfast and take it powerful serious). So training-be-damned, I got to work. 20 minutes later, my co-workers rush in a panic to a near full spread ready to go (Didn't do tomato wedges, gross) and it did pretty well. Breakfast became "my" shift and I quite enjoyed it. Other things to know: Originally from Fiji but have been living in Sydney for 12 years. My hobbies involve writing, reading, martial arts, pop culture, movies and games. Not much of a partier but up for a beer and a chat, if it's over a boardgame or two, even better!. While I'm sociable, I do greatly value my quiet and privacy so I'm hoping you understand if every now and again I'll give you the polite stoic head nod before curling up with a book or in my room. I'd rather no more that 2 other people who would also be ok with my girlfriend coming over from time to time. She bakes on occasion and I'm happy to share unless it's her caramel slice (In which case she'll make me). Prefer to move into an established house but good to team up if it's with the right people. Of course I'd like the usual; clean, quiet, respectful, employed, chill and responsible because I'm going to my best to give you the same. I'm looking for at least 6 months with a mind for longer if it works out
Hello I am a tidy and easygoing guy looking for a room, preferably close to USYD. I am 23, from Greece and in the final semester of my bachelor in Economics. Even though I may have used to be a bit of a party person, as it is my final semester and I want (need) to improve my marks before graduation, I plan to limit it to some quiet drinks with the roommates every now and then. I spent the last year on exchange in the Netherlands sharing an apartment with four other people and we managed to create a homely environment that I would love to have again.
I decided to leave abroad for a full year and i looking for a room in a friendly share house or flat in Sydney. This timeframe will allow me to develop new skills, enrich my passions . I would also like do discover Australian culture by traveling and meeting people from different environments especially in Sydney and I put a lot of thinking in that decision to fully anticipate it’s impact on my career and I am now sure that it will be a fantastic experience on both personal and professional aspects. I started working when I was 16 and have never stopped since. As a curious person, I always tried to experience different things and I am willing to do everything to pursue my dream in Australia.
I'm a non smoker and an uncomplicated, open-minded and easy going guy from Germany (Frankfurt) I laugh much and I'm able to handle things independtly. Furthermore I like to explore new things and I love to meet new people :) I would be very grateful for new offers.
