Hey! I'm easy going, incredibly clean/ tidy, love nature and participating in outdoor activities like paddleboarding and photography. I don't party much at home although I do enjoy a social drink or 2 on a nice patio :) I'm a Canadian on a working holiday visa and I'm leaving beautiful Noosa to experience a new location. I work in hospitality and hopefully will get to do some conservation volunteering as well. Would love to find a furnished room in a house or flat with other like-minded people, cheers!
Hi, I'm Justine from the US. I've been living in Melbourne for the past 8 months and have just relocated to Cairns to do hospitality work to extend my visa for a second year! I'm looking for a space in a shared house with interesting, open-minded people. I live an eco-friendly lifestyle and am not a strict vegetarian but rarely eat meat products, so it would be nice to find a house where people think similarly. I love to travel and interact with people from different cultures/ backgrounds. I enjoy reading, swimming, and yoga. I love cooking, eating, and drinking wine! Feel free to ask any questions you may have...
We are a very easygoing couple that have been living in a van for the last 2 years. It's been a great adventure but after a while you do start missing having a proper home situated in one specific spot. However we would love to share our stories from when we've been on the road :) Both of us are very reliable people as well as well organised. We own a french mastiff named Hooch who everyone literally falls in love with. He is a big teddy bear and is very well behaved with both humans and other dogs. We do need a house that has a fully fenced backyard for our dog Hooch. My name is Natalia and I originally come from Stockholm, Sweden. I moved to Australia in November 2016 and met my partner Luke after a few months traveling in Australia. He is Australian and is very passionate about paragliding. We have both been living some kind of nomadic van life for a while but have now reached a moment in our lives where it is necessary for us to to get employed and become residents for a while.
I'm a student a JCU studying a Bachelor of arts, majoring in both English and Psychology. I can be quite shy but once you get to know me I come out of my shell a bit more and like to chat (I'm more so of a listener). I'm interested in anything to do with stories and in my spare time I like to read, write and draw. My end goal after finishing university is to be a story teller of sorts. Outside of this I am also part of the Australian Air Force Cadets (soon to be transitioning to staff... Maybe). I have a dog (He is a 'little' Jack Russell... He is a bit fat and old). Despite his age he is very lively. I've had him since I was roughly 8 years old so he is very important to me. The move date for me is flexible, but that wasn't really an option on here. (I don't have a photo of me so here's my dog for now)
Hi, I am a post-graduate student from London and will be doing research in Cairns this spring and summer. I am looking for a room between April 15 to July 31. I am really active; i love to hike, run and garden. I have been doing a lot of nature photgraphy lately and hope to explore around Queensland during my stay. I am pretty quiet and calm housemate, but enjoying being friendly and social with fellow housemates.
Hey! My name is Leah, I’m 20 years old and from Gisborne, New Zealand. I’ve been in Australia for about 1 year now and currently work full time. I Love traveling, And experiencing new things. I’m a really easy going down to earth person that loves meeting new people.
27 year old male, I'm currently working in the social work field working shift work including sleepover and night shifts( i sleep like a a rock so dont worry about being too quiet when i work nightshirt...) so i will be away every second weekend and two other nights in the fort night and am planning on studying community services this year as well. I am clean around the common areas (kitchen/lounge room and respectful of my house mates). I love my fishing and spend a lot of my free time camping, i always smoke out side. I'm looking for a room for my self but would like to be able to have my girlfriend stay over a night or two during the week.
Hi everyone, I'm a 21 year old, down to earth, friendly girl who has just moved up from Melbourne. I'm currently working as a vet nurse in Yorkies knob. I was the head tenant of a huge place in Melbourne for over two years. I lived with two other flatmates so I know what goes into being a respectful, clean, quiet roomie. I am flexible in budget and easy to get along with. I'm happy to be part of a cleaning and cooking roster or do my own thing. My biggest thing is I have a senior Labrador. He's fifteen so doesn't bark, dig or be destructive in anyway. He's in great health condition and gets along amazing with other dogs and cats. He's very chill 😊 I also have two cats in Melbourne that I would love to bring up if allowed, they are outdoor cats, very friendly but aren't as urgent as my dog as I have great accommodation for them back down south. Please send me a pm if you think you have a place that me and my pupper can slot into 😊
Hi, I’m Jess. I am currently studying a diploma in youth work and struggling but actively trying to find work, I am living in Innisfail as I have found cheap accomodation. Unfortunately jobs in Innisfail are limited and it no long seems that I can stay living where I am. I’m a neat and quiet person. Please don’t hesitate to message me to find out more. Looking forward to hearing from you.
I'm (Australian) working full time hours while my partner (Japanese Australian) studies. We plan on moving to Brisbane by the end of the year, so I can start my own studies. So we're only looking for a temporary place, six months give or take. I have my license and a car. We're looking to move anytime between now and May 6th (at the latest), somewhere close to the city.
