I’m Vanessa, a 28 year female scientist from Brisbane. I’m making the big move to Melbourne for a job starting on the 17th of July. I love to come home to a place with good banter and fun facts. Eating is life and I exercise so I can eat more. I’ll only be moving down my clothes, a bed, bike and my car (I’ll be driving to work, so easy parking at home is a must). I will be selling a fair bit of stuff before I move down so if there is anything the house needs, ask and I might have it. Anything else you need to know, ask away. PS if you have a dog, please message me. That would be a huge plus!
I am an easy going working professional. Like to watch movies and go out for meals with friends. I want to live in a quit household (at night i mean) and one which is located close to the freeways. I'm pet friendly and get along with most people.
I'm a 24 year old plumber working in the city. Living an hour and a half away so looking for a place ASAP. Easy going laid back kind of person I don't mind a beer after work and talking all things footy. Length of stay is going to be around the 6-7 month mark preferably.

Hello, I'm Rachel and I work at a kindergarten. I'm currently renting a room off a family friend but her son is moving back home so I need somewhere new to go! I live a quite life, I'm very into my spirituality and I'm a very peaceful and friendly person. I will meditate in my room a lot with my crystals. I am vegan and I enjoy learning new recipes to cook for my friends. I'm just looking for somewhere nice and relaxed where I can be myself :) and save up my dollars. I enjoy art, music and reading tarot cards. I put in a 9 month preferred stay but I am flexible with that. I have no pets but I adore animals very much. I don't smoke and I don't really drink much either. Hoping to find some like minded individual(s) to share a home with :) Also open to 1 bedroom apartments or granny flats etc.
Looking for long term stay. Easy going, respectful and friendly. Prefer a clean space to live in and will contribute. Lived in Melbourne, northern suburbs, my entire life. 6 years in share house's. Looking for work at the moment, receiving government payment, very conscious with paying rent and bills on time. I hope to be employed asap. Spend my time studying online, playing computer games, and visiting family. Occasionally ride my motorbike so a garage would be a bonus. Looking for a social household that also respects time to themselves. Pet friendly. Social drinker. Non smoker.
Hi, I'm Dave and I just moved to Australia. I'm looking to move down to Melbourne to be closer to the food, comedy, music, events, and all-around goings-on. I can cook! A bit! I'm getting into sourdough bread (I can pump out a loaf every couple of days if needs be!), and can do mean curries and stews. I'm a freelance photographer/videographer/web developer but being new to the country, I need to be in the city to meet people and find more work. My wife lives and works up near Shepparton, though, so I would likely be out of the city for a couple of days each week. Likes: photography, board games, podcasting, cider, stinky cheese, coffee, hiking, flyboarding, elaborate Mario Kart tournaments, casual river sports (gorge scrambling, kayaking, rafting) Because I do video work, good unlimited internet is probably required for uploading finished videos. On-screen things: basketball, Game of Thrones, AFL, Rick & Morty, billions of hours of YouTube cooking channels, Primitive Technology. If there's any garden space, I'd like to live with people who are interested in growing veggies and trying out new recipes. I'm happy to live with friendly dogs or cats or other critter friends, so long as they don't bark all day (sometimes I'll need to record podcasts or voice-overs in my room). I think that's about it! But please ask questions if I've missed anything. Cheers, Dave
I have recently started working full-time as a Graduate Civil Engineer in the Melbourne CBD. I currently live at home with my parents in Wallan, but I am looking to live closer to the city in an effort to cut my travel times to work, friends and social activities. I have decided I am ready to take this step in independence. I clean after myself in all common areas, and try to keep my personal areas tidy. I am always up for a chat, but am happy to give people space when required. I enjoy watching the footy, playing games (board games or video games), seeing friends, going to gigs, and when I have spare time, photography. My weekdays are generally busy. Apart from work, I spend a lot of time after work seeing my friends and partaking in social activities. When I am not doing that, I like to chill at home, playing games, watching YouTube or just lazing about listening to music. My weekends are very similar, but I try to get one day at home to recharge for the week ahead. Looking for something which will be around 800pcm including bills.
My name is Cristina, I am 39 year old, have recently sold my house upon separation. I have a 12 year old boy, he will commence highschool next year, education for my boy is the most important thing hence I am looking to rent in the vicinity of a good public school for a minimum of 2 years. Important for me is to live in a clean house, enjoy a good conversation and a glass of wine from time to time. If you are a party animal , I wont be your best match.
Im a friendly, compassionate, kind hearted soul that tries to see the best in everyone even if it is hard to do so at times. Nursing student at ACU, currently on gap year to find work and take some time for myself. Happy to keep to myself reading, listening to music or playing games when at home. I have no issue with parties or people being over but not looking for a party house. P.s the rent budget is set at 160 for a reason. Please dont send me messages about your rooms on offer if they are more then that. Thanks :)
Looking for some temporary housing. I am easy to get along with, work in a hospital as a pathologist 7-12pm most days, and play outdoor soccer 3 nights a week. Im friendly, social, respectful and love adventures. Always up for a laugh and chill. Just wanting to gain some experience and a new experience
Hi! I am looking to move out for the first time, as I am working in North Melbourne and currently live in Berwick. My budget is $180 including bills. I am looking anywhere around the northern suburbs, but the closer to North Melbourne, the better! I would prefer to live with just 1 other person, or a couple, as I am a very private person. If I am not working I generally stay in my room playing playstation, so I will not be a very disturbing housemate. I am definitely not the party type, so you wont have to worry about anything like that, if I want to see friends I will generally go to their houses. I am very reliable with money, although I don't have any references seeing as I am moving out for the first time, I would love to be given a chance :). Thanks!
Hi potential flatmates! Myself, my best friend Georgia Lea and her lover boy Jared are looking for a funky abode to call our own! 🏡 We've been on the hunt for a good 5 - 6 months, and Jareds lease is up so he needs a place ASAP. Because of this we aren't too fussy about location, although we're hoping for somewhere north of the CBD. Anywhere with a room for a couple and a room for a single within reasonable access to public transport would be brilliant! A bit about us: Georgia Lea - I study social work at La Trobe, passionate about memes and musicals particularly the sound of music, pun enthusiast, loves a good conspiracy theory, and is generally top notch, bubbly, clean and organised gal to live with! hit us up fam Jared: Just ur typical bloke that works part time at BWS so can recommend some lovely beverages, studies Media at Deakin, and loves him a good video game or wrestling match. Likes music and literally obsessed with movies. Ask him about his simpsons tattoo Georgia Anne: Studying youth work at ACU, as well as working 2 casual jobs to feed her Toblerone addiction. Quotes way too many irrelevant tv shows. Passionate about aquatic facts and SFX makeup. 10/10 will bake questionable sweets for you on her quest to become supreme baking genius When not working or studying, we're all up for a good chat and a few drinks, but also enjoy down time and personal space. We are homeless and sad and cant wait to hear from you!
