We are a couple relocating back to Melbourne after living overseas for the last year. We are looking for a place to stay for the first 2-3 months or so while we find a permanent rental. I am a 30 y/o Australian and my partner Felipe is a 29 y/o originally from Brazil. I am an office administration worker and Felipe is a chef. We are both very clean, respectful and understand the dynamics of living in a sharehouse (as we have always lived with housemates). We both love cooking and spending time with friends. We hope to find housemates who we can have a good conversation with and perhaps occasionally a dinner and some drinks. Hope to hear from you guys soon :-) Elise and Felipe.
Quick summary for you guys, I know you don't have time to waste eh. - Born and raised in Paris - 29 year old Mech. Engineer - Lived in London for 2 years before moving to Melbourne last year. London must be the European capital of flatshares and some of my ex flatmates have become great friends. So I'm used to share an apartment. I have 3 rules in a flatshare : -Be social -Be respectful -Be clean Personality wise, I'm very social and friendly but I respect private space so I won't intrude on others' personal space. I'm looking for a room in the northern part of Melbourne (Brunswick, Coburg, Preston, Thornbury). Feel free to contact me!
Hi, I'm Hayden. I'm currently living in rural NSW, and planning to move into a more urban city, so I've chosen Melbourne. I'm an easy going guy, I mostly keep to myself but don't mind an occasional dinner or get together once in awhile. Some of my interests would be film, anime, literature, and hiking. Feel free to hit me up for more information, I'm always keen!
My name is Vee and I am a 37 year old female from Melbourne seeking a new place to move into by late August. Ideally im looking for a place of my own or to rent out a room which is very spacious with ensuite/own bathroom. I work full time as i have my own cleaning business specialising in private home cleans and end of lease cleaning. I work 6 days a week with occasional night shifts where i clean businesses out side office hours. I am usually busy most nights visiting family and friends when im not working. I enjoy cooking so a nice spacious kitchen would be great. I am tidy and clean up after myself so you wouldn’t need to worry in those areas. My cleaning business does require some late-night shift work so as long as you don’t mind me doing my thing and not getting disturbed by my early morning starts or sometimes late night finishes would be ideal. I am a smoker but would never smoke inside as long as im able to smoke outside in backyard would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for a light filled house that is relatively new and please do not send me images anything dark and gloomy is not what im after. I would prefer a large spacious room with ensuite or own bathroom and good wardrobe space. I also have a car so off-street car park would be great also. Looking for a 1-2 bedroom townhouse to occupy on my own but open to any other options that tick all the boxes.
I am from Point Cook, I hope to move somewhere closer to the city for more job opportunities. I am quiet, independent easy going and respectful, bit of a neat freak and am looking to become a light vehicle mechanic. I am not sure how long i would like to stay at this point, hopefully if i find the right fit it can be something permanent.
I've just moved to Melbourne and looking for a place to call home, not a house to live in. I'm friendly, bubbly, energetic and enjoy having fun with friends. I'm tidy and respectful of others personal space. I love exercising and looking forward to exploring the sites and culinary delights of Melbourne on weekends, as I work full time Monday to Friday in customer service.
I am Sri Lankan and a full time PhD student at RMIT. Easy to live with and friendly. Clean and tidy. I love watching movies, cricket and also travelling. *Non-smoker
I’m a full-time teaching student at university, working as a waitress and integration aide in my spare time. I’m a musician and photographer, I enjoy movies, tv, reading, and time with family and friends. I’m considerate, responsible and fun. I love to have a laugh and be involved. I have with me my 8 year-old exclusively indoor cat Shadow. She is placid and extremely affectionate.
I am a 23 year old female who is very easy going, friendly, tidy and respectful of my housemates. I am looking for a room to rent in Melbourne around the Coburg, Pascoe Vale, Essendon, Maribyrnong area. I enjoy music, fashion and hanging out with my friends. Originally from country Victoria and looking to make friends in the city. I work full time. Happy to share with a couple of housemates and to hang out with you as well. I enjoy a glass of wine on occasions and love seeing a live band or attending a music festival.
I work as a backline tech/ lighting operator/ technician for concerts and festivals and do club operating at Level 3 crown casino on the side when work gets quiet. I play drums for the band Newtown Story. I'm always up to chat and have a beer, very easygoing, relaxed and respectful of everyone
My name is Tom and I am 19 years old from London , United Kingdom. I have recently moved over on a working holiday visa for a maximum of 2 years. I am looking to find a room in a house with other young adults - starting November 2018. I am excited to get to know Melbourne and all of the things it has to offer. I enjoy sports, music, theater and socializing. Keen to meet people with similar interests or someone to have a laugh with. As I do not know Melbourne yet it would be good to meet people who can give me a few pointers on places to go as well as areas to look for work. Really easy going and a fun guy to be around - I am very relaxed but also very respectable when it comes to communal spaces and sharing a house. I have experience in bar tending and cocktail making - one of the reasons I wanted to move to Melbourne was to experience the extensive cocktail industry that Melbourne has to offer.
Preferably max 1 other housemate, might consider living with couple. Must be clean!! I work full time and work different shifts so quiet house not a party house.
Hi, I am Sri. A PhD student at Uni Melb from India. I am looking for a shared accommodation preferably with females. I am an easy going , friendly person, and very courteous to fellow beings. I spend most of the time at Uni doing research, at home I just like to relax, cook, eat and sleep well. I like to hangout on my own/with friends on the weekends. Not a complaining/fussy person. Very understandable and caring too :)
Hey! We are both from Brisbane hoping to start a new life in Melbourne as well as start Uni. We both love to relax but we also love exploring and doing new things. We respect privacy and space but if your looking for friends we’re that too. We arent really into the party scene but we dont have a problem with it. We are really easy to get along with and are just really excited.
I am a 23 year old working full time in an admin role in the insurance and risk industry (fun!). I am very chill, love cleaning, not the greatest cook but always willing to give it a go, and my favourite way to spend my evenings is to watch Netflix. I also com with Pepper, a 6 month old kitten who is toilet trained, super cute, and up to date on all vaccines. I'm looking for housemates I can be friends with who are up for occasionally spending time together.

I am working full time in a cafe as a waitress and I am gonna start a Diploma course in Marketing and communication in October. I am looking for a place where to live, preferable already with furniture. I am really clean, tidy and respectful of other people's space. Hi guys, I am easy going, clean and always up for a chat. I enjoy my own space and privacy and pride myself on allowing my fellow housemates to have their own space. I work 8.30-5pm and aim to go to the gym after work and keep myself buy on weekends so I'm not always hanging around the house. I have an entire house worth of furniture (including spare room) and would love to team up with someone who wants to find a place together. You wouldn't need any furniture! :) Win!
I'm reliable, tidy, friendly, can cook (not a masterchef tho!) & pay my bills on time. I'm willing to pull my weight with the cleaning & am respectful of others needs & privacy. I'm a Kindergarten teacher and do agency work within northern & western suburbs. In my spare time I like to catch up with friends, go shopping, go to the movies, go to markets or visit family in country victoria. I need some storage space for work books & resources- even if at the back of a garage
My name is Marcos. I'm from Chile and I'm going to Melbourne with the objective of learning English. I am calm, hygienic and careful. I do not smoke or have pets. I'm just looking for a quiet place to rest and pleasant company. Greetings and thanks!!
Hi Everyone! In mid/late-September 2018, my housemates and I will end our lease together on what has been an awesome home in the heart of Preston. While we’re all moving in different directions, I’m looking to stick around either the Inner North/Northside up to Reservoir, or somewhere close-ish to Carlton/Parkville with the hope of securing a private room with some quality like-minded people in a shared home. I’m currently a full-time PhD student at Unimelb researching medication to manage behaviour in health settings, and I also work there part-time on a variety of research projects relating to mental health and the law. Additionally, I produce electronic music (with headphones on mostly) and very occasionally throw down a few tracks here and there in darkened clubs and festivals around the place. In a home, I look for a warm, friendly, respectful vibe with open communication and value people who generally care about the world and themselves. A bit more about me: 39, male, non-smoker, creative, LGBTQIA+ friendly, tidy, introverted-ambivert (i.e. social, yet values alone-time), and mellow. Interests: music, foreign/indie films with a touch of sci-fi, health & well-being, cooking, gardening, bicycles, art/design generally. I don’t have any pets, but I think dogs and other animal companions are ace. Thanks for reading and good luck with your searches!
Im honest, trustworthy and empathetic. I don’t use drugs Financially stable I’m sociable, enjoy yoga, a clean person and respectful of others space and boundaries Work in community services sector I can have a laugh at myself
