Hi I am 26 yr old female working at university of Melbourne. I have been living in melbourne from 3 yrs. Landlord wants to sell off my current place after lease ends so i am on a lookout for a private room for myself starting february end, though flexible with move in date. Preferred suburbs : essendon, moonee ponds, ascot vale, north melbourne, kensington, parkville, flemington and travancore. ideally located close to tram and/or train directly to city. About myself : I have a busy schedule schedule on weekdays so mostly wont be seen around much...weekends i like to cook meals , go out and socialise with my friends. i usually keep to myself but if you need to hangout occassionally or share a drink or meal , hola ! i am a fitness enthusiast so bonus points if there is a gym nearby! i also like to go out running , big foodie and movie buff. I am fully sharehouse trained and flexible with any kind kind of cleaning arrangement. (definately not a freak though). Not at all a party animal but can have friendly visitors at home for dinner on rare occasions. Non smoker, occasional drinker , lgbt friendly and most importantly , always pay rent on time. if you are interested shoot me a msg! cheers Ani
Hi! I'm Taner, I'm returning back home to Australia for the summer after spending some time in New Zealand. I'm a very active and outdoorsy person, I cycle, climb, play tennis and a bit of soccer and other activity I can join. I also like time indoors, with board games or books, but you will likely see me spending days at a time away camping... I've lived in share houses before and know how to be clean, tidy and respectful, and can be handy when it comes to fixing things or gardening. It would be nice if the house is a friendly one where there is shared meals and other social time and where the occasional visitor or couchsurfer is welcome. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers :) Ideal housemates would be active and happy people who like to socialise, have a few drinks, that join and suggest activities, and who are responsible enough to clean up any mess they make.
I'm into music, have just started DJing (mixing isn't the best yet), like my alone time but will also wanna have a chat and hang out with whoever I'm living with. I work in an office and usually go out on the weekends to gigs, bars etc. Very friendly and clean and always consider others.
Helllo potential house mates :) My name is Juliette and I am from France. I grew up in China and then moved here for uni 3 years ago. I am friendly, clean, pretty tidy, I like to cook for people, I am up for adventures (the beach, parks, drives, gigs, veggie bbq) but I also do like my alone time. I'm hoping to find a sharehouse with a bit of a family feel. I am studying full time at VU and I also have a casual job in a furniture shop in east Richmond. For fun I: write songs/sing, read, go on city trips, go to the beach, pet cats. Looking to move sometime in November until June 2018 (maybe longer)
Hi! I'm a smoothie maker, chai drinker and yoga newbie. I'm vegetarian, love animals and always up for a chat, a night out or a good old Netflix session. I juggle between working in private health and running my own business. I've lived in sharehouses here and abroad, and did a bit of travelling last year ✈ I'd love to find a place to call home, where good vibes and zen spaces mix together✌ Looking for a place for 4-6 months, and maybe longer! Get in touch if you think we'd be a good fit!
My name is Shae and I am a young Australian girl originally from QLD but have lived in so many different places in Australia and Asia - used to travel ALOT!!! I have been living in Melbourne for about 12 months. I work full time as Mother of doggos at Seeing Eye Dogs Australia - yep kleenex pups everywhere!! I am also studying Veterinary Nursing - when I find time?? haha yeah right! I am super chilled out, polite and have been sharehousing for years so understand the importance of privacy, cleanliness as well as being a part of a household! I am an animal lover so spend most of my time with the dogs at work, pet/house sitting or hanging out with my lizards that stay with my boyfriend at his place. I will spend some nights at his place as well, so not at home always. Most of my friends are musicians so I go to alot of gigs but not really looking for a huge party house. Chill time away from said musicians would be nice ;) 420 and LGBT friendly is not required but preferred just so I know youre not bad crazy! When I am at home, I like to cook healthy (and sometimes naughty!), sit in the sun, have a tea or a few beers, talk shit about stupid shows like Rick and Morty, GoT, Walking Dead, Big Mouth or whatever is going at the time. I like to think Im pretty funny, bit quirky but also pretty normal? I feel like Im not great at writing bios so just let me know if you would like to know anything else :)
I'm friendly, easygoing and very clean and tidy. Looking for a sociable house but a quiet Netflix-night-in is great too!
My name is Sofie and I'm 27 years old from Adelaide. I've lived in Melbourne for the past three years and absolutely love it, but find myself needing new accommodation. I work full time (9-5) in community outreach and education in the CBD (which I love), and study full time after hours, so I'm pretty busy most of the time. I also work as a freelance live music photographer, usually on weekends. My general interests are live music, digital art, travel (cliche I know), and trying to learn to be a better cook. I'm pretty quiet and reserved, but by no means antisocial. I enjoy having a chat or dinner with housemates from time-to-time, but value my privacy, and the privacy and boundaries of others. I'm very tidy and respectful of shared spaces. I have a preference for the north, but would also be open to the inner west or east. Must move in by the 18th of November. Happy to answer any questions anybody may have :)
Hey I'm originally from Sydney. I moved to Melbourne for work. I'm open minded and enjoy travelling. I'm tidy and enjoy keeping the house clean. I'm also keen to teamup and look for a new place. Cheers!
Hi, My name is Natalie and I am in my mid thirties. I am looking for a mid to long term and preferably furnished (but can be flexible) room in the Northern suburbs of the CBD and within a 15-20 min walk to a train station. Ideally I would a like an inclusive of Rent and Utilities around the $300 mark. I am neat and tidy and will keep the place presentable and will respect other people's belongings. I am a 9-5 office worker and outside of work I hit up the gym most nights and/or be lazy and opt for wining and dining instead but less often than not. Weekends are generally running around doing stuff or just socialising with friends. I understand people lead busy lives these days, but I would prefer someone and or people that like to have a chit chat with their fellow flatmate/s on a regular basis. I am an animal lover so pets would not be a problem.
Just returned from 3 month Europe trip! Looking for a new place to call home! Work full time and done the whole renting thing before so understand paying bills on time etc. Love getting outside, catching up with friends, the od spot of cooking and a sneaky wine with trashy tv.
I am Lisa and i work full time as a chef. My partner is an auto electrician working full time as weel. we are looking for a place to call home where we can set for a long term period, as we both work in the essendon Area. we are very tidy and clean :) we are looking for 1 bedroom apartment ONLY
I am 23, work as a registered nurse at the royal women's hospital. I am a huge disney fan so always down for a Netflix and wine night in or keen for social games nights too. I keep my room tidy and am respectful of communal areas. Im very clean and tidy, would love to share with someone who also respects communal areas, happy to share the cleaning and creates a great vibe to live in! I have a car so would love a place with on or off street parking (anywhere I can plonk my wheels I'm happy) Let me know if you think I could fit in with your place! x
I'm easy-going, friendly, fun and considerate. I love living in share houses with great people, and have been doing so for over 10 years. I love animals and have a cat and a dog, they're small and pretty chilled out. I work full time in the arts. I like going to gigs, galleries and having beers in the sun.
Hi, 34yo, professional, quiet as a ghost. I am an excellent cook, very tidy, always up for movies video/board games. I climb, surf and skate which means that on weekends I'm often away. It also means that if you share one of these passions we'll be best friends forever (or at least 3 months). I've got a child (11 months) and a dog (10yo, male, always lived in apartments, doesn't bark) neither of which will come with me :-(. Going through some "time apart" so I will visit my family as much as I can, but I wouldn't mind having dog and child over from time to time, just so that we are clear never overnight. I would love to have the flatmate for a while until I get my own place :-) I am very personable and if you give me a chance to meet I'll be sure to impress. Thanks
My name is Amber, I am 27 and have Just secured a job in the city so am moving back to Melbourne from Byron Bay. Ideally living somewhere close to a train station would be handy. I am out and about most of the time and when I am home I'm usually catching zzzs or watching flicks by my lonesome so you'll barely know i am there. I am clean, house trained, laugh at my own jokes so you don't have to and enjoy my independence! Come with neon lights if you are in to that, otherwise I'm down to keep them cordoned off to my room. Have lived with others before, I like to think they will miss my presence which leads me to believe I am a great roommate and a necessary addition to your household.
I come from Austria/Europe, am a musician and a teacher. I am great to live with because I am a very tidy person and I am a great cook. I am going to spend an exchange semester at Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. I do not want to live alone while in Melbourne that´s why I am looking for a shared home. I would like to make music, taste great food, explore the city, meet new people and make the best of my time in Melbourne. I am a very open-minded person and like to spend time with people from different cultures (I guess because I am a musician), I often listen to music and I love to cook!! I already spent some time abroad (Sweden, Thailand) and am used to get along with people from different cultures and different styles of living. In my spare time I love to go for long walks in the park and enjoy the nature. If I could make a wish I would like to live in a modern and cosy appartment. (And I am a big fan of the magic of tyding up by marie kondo :) ) I would be happy to hear from you!
Well hey! I'm looking for someone to team up with so we can find a nice little place to live. Rent isn't cheap so why not group up :) Looking at properties around 350-400 mark, town houses, newly renovated etc. Currently working in Moonee Ponds so looking around or within 15 or so mins from that area. You know, Glenroy, Essendon. Im pretty chilled, you'll probably just find me playing video games watching movies and TV most of the week. Sociable but appreciate space also. Weekends usually not home or just having a quiet drink around the house. Furnishings wise, I've got a bed and my essentials, but will be filling in the blanks once we are approved. Money is there for whatever we may need as it comes up. Oh and I also have a cat. She's 6, hopefully that doesn't complicate the situation! Who's ready for an adventure
Hi there, welcome to my profile :-) I’m looking for a furnished room as soon as possible until April. I have been travelling around the world since February and decided to stay in Melbourne for the next six month, to work and to explore Australia. While I was studying in Germany and England, I have always lived in shared apartments, so I’m not new to this. 😉 My interests are sports (yoga, running, bouldering). I like spending time together cooking or chat over a glass of wine. I wish to find flatmates who are interested in spending time together. I'm 27 years old finished studying and have been working for many year already, now I'm working in Melbourne. Hope to hear from you!! Janna
'm 25 and studying the JD at Melbourne uni full time. I also have a part time job at a family law firm in the city. These both keep me quite busy, I'm often at the library studying. This means when I'm at home I do like a relaxed and quiet house. I'm always up for a chat and a few wines though! I'm really clean and tidy and love to bake all kinds of yummy things. I'm also really organised with life so I'll always pay my rent on time and contribute my fair share to the house.
Neat, tidy, quiet. I enjoy a casual chat over coffee, but am not someone who is always hanging around to talk your ear off. Working full-time in the CBD, so somewhere close to transport would be great.
