I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to start work as a grad in the public service, looking for somewhere clean and relatively close to work. I mostly just read and watch movies at home, so I'll generally keep to myself, but do also enjoy a chat/drink (and not averse to a good party either if that's your thing). I'm a pretty tidy person, and a non-smoker.
I'm a friendly, mature and responsible woman looking for one or more housemates. I don't actually have a place to rent out/share with others at this point - I'm just putting my feelers out to find potential housemates. I would like the company of a friendly housemate, but I'm not in a rush to move. I would rather wait and find the right person(s). Planning to stay in Canberra for 12-18 months, then move to Melbourne. I would prefer to pay between $150-200 per week, and live in an inner south or inner north suburb (e.g. Kingston, Yarralumla, Griffith, Lyneham, O'Connor). I would also be open to living somewhere in Queanbeyan. I'm very accepting and non-judgemental, as well as being queer/trans/ace friendly. I'd like to live with other LGBTI-friendly and open-minded people. My main interests are psychology, visual art and spirituality. I'm fairly quiet and often keep to myself, but enjoy chatting with housemates from time to time. I have a partner who visits but never sleeps over. I don't drink alcohol, smoke or party, so I would prefer to live with people who are similar in lifestyle to me. I want to live with people who have good communication skills, and can raise problems directly and honestly. I'm also a serious night owl, and would probably get along best with other people who stay up late. I'd prefer somewhere pet friendly as I do cat fostering, but it's not essential as I don't have any long-term pets. P.S. I'm not a vegetarian, and I do eat meat fairly regularly - just thought I'd mention this in case it's a dealbreaker for some people!
I have lived, worked and studied in more than 4 continents. Loved exploring every inch of the culture and history's of the countries I was residing in. Now working in a field that combines my passions and skills into one and I can make a significant difference in society. In my spare time, I am often hiking, riding my mountain bike, surfing or playing a round of golf. I like to meet new people and hear their unique adventures via a well-prepared curry. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Jack
I'm a 27 year old public servant, currently on leave to complete a Master of Social Work but will be returning to full-time hours in January. I have a small dog (Mr Miyagi - a toy japanese spitz) and I am an occasional wildlife carer of pouched joeys. When I'm not taking my doggie for a walk, you'll find me either at the gym; watching Game of Thrones/Netflix; doing a touch of gardening, or baking cupcakes. I would love to share with someone who I could share the occasional movie with, and ideally become good friends. I am reasonably open to location given the right flatmate, but would prefer the south side.
Hi there, My name is Michelle, I am 24 years old, and I work as a nurse at The Canberra Hospital. I am friendly, considerate, neat, and a fairly quiet, reserved sort of person, who will always make it a priority to pay rent and utilities on time. I am not into loud partying or things like that, but do enjoy the occasional drink with friends. I have a 10-year-old small/medium dog named Roxy, who is the most perfect creature! She doesn’t shed, rarely barks, absolutely doesn’t bite, and I do have a rental reference specifically for her. I am quite flexible on the length of lease. Please let me know if you’d like to see a reference for either Roxy or myself. Thanks for your time!
I'm originally from Melbourne but have lived in Canberra for a couple years. Currently studying Actuarial Studies at ANU and working as a financial analyst. I'm super chill and very easy going. I'm a very social guy who loves playing sport and spending time outdoors. Will be happy to hangout with housemates from time to time and share a meal or have a drink. Also understand and value the importance of giving everyone their own personal space. I clean up after myself and will pull my fair share of the household chores.
We are a young couple, one of us is a student/part time worker and the other is in the APS. We are looking to move out of our parents' houses. We tend to keep to ourselves as we work, both day and night shifts however we are social on the rare occasion our schedules line up. We would prefer somewhere with our own kitchen/kitchenette as we are vegan and nut free. We both work and go to school in the city so, we are looking for something around that area (basically not Tuggeranong or Belconnen). Thanks for reading!
We are both ANU medical students with busy lives, who have been housemates for two years. We are respectful, quiet, communicative and great at sharing duties around the house. We'll stay out of your hair, but love the occasional housemate dinner. We have lots of experience living with people from all walks of life, and get along well with just about anyone. When we're not studying, Will likes acting and Phoebe enjoys a round of golf.
Im career orientated and an animal lover. I like to go out and socialise but also like the other end of the spectrum and have my time. I have two beagles and I would be lying if I said they are well behaved however they are well loved. I am an easy going person and always willing to help out around the house! Because of my animal situation I am happy to pay more on rent then others in the house. The location in canberra does not bother me as I move around in canberra for my work. Look forward to making some new friends!
Hi, My name is Nicollette, I am an easy going 21-year-old female who will be working full time as a registered nurse and looking for a place to stay (All female) for roughly one year. I am clean and tidy but not overly pedantic. I’m always up for a chat, dinner or drinks, not a big party person either and respectful of others personal space. I will also be bringing a small budgie-sized bird with me who won’t be any trouble :) I am looking to move in early February so please send me a message if interested.
I am very friendly and easy going, and am a very passionate music and animal lover. I actually enjoy doing housework, and will get along well with anyone who owns a pet or loves some loud rock & roll!
I'm a 22yo female student about to commence a 9 month radiography placement. I am a clean and tidy person and considerate of others in shared living spaces. I am easy going, enjoy an active lifestyle and socialising with friends. The 9 months needed for accommodation could be indefinite if work is offered to me upon completion of my placement.
Hi, I’m looking to relocate to ACT in 2018. I will be working as a nurse at Canberra Hospital, and, therefore, will be doing shift work. Currently working part-time in my hometown one hour away, but looking to relocate prior to commencing full-time work in February. I will be respectful of others privacy and property, and would appreciate the same in return. I’m an easy going, clean and quiet person. I would enjoy having some meals together with a flat mate, and generally living with someone I can have a chat with. Also willing to live on my own in a granny flat or 1 bedroom unit or studio.
Intern pharmacist looking for accommodation in south Canberra, starting in early January. I'm a relaxed bloke who enjoys mountain bike riding, hiking and photography. Always keen to socialize and I'm clean and respectful of other people's privacy :)

Hi future flatmates! I am a working professional from Brisbane who is relocating to Canberra in 2018 for a graduate role with the APS. I am looking forward to moving down and hoping to find a great place to stay. I believe that I would be a great flatmate because I am friendly, clean and respectful. I love having a good time and socialising but also understand the need for personal space and privacy. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, reading, video games, social sport (basketball, tennis, badminton, futsal) and trying my hand at new things.
Clean & tidy person. Friendly, mature person. Loves travelling & scuba diving. Happy to have a chat or remain quiet. Have a friendly dog who doesn't make a sound at nite. Must find a place as soon as possible.
I'm currently trying to suss out my options for February. I live in a share house at the moment and have the option to extend the lease for another year but that will mean finding two new housemates and furnishing the house (other housemate owns furniture). So I'm on here to see if there are better options 😀 I'm 25, Irish, work full time Monday-Friday 9-6, easy going, enjoy cooking, watching tv, spending time outside, a few drinks every few weekends. I have ticked the smoker box, I smoke a few cigs of an evening after work or with a few drinks. I'm not a heavy smoker or anything.
Hi, I am looking at moving to Canberra around mid to late January to start a full time Nursing postition at the Canberra Hospital. I am a fun, outgoing kind of person who is respectful of others around me and there belongings. I’m a quite kind of person who loves watching tv, catching up on all the sports and don’t mind a beer and a bet here and there. I’m pretty open to who I live with although would prefer medical students or those of the same work profession
I’m Haynes, 23 years old, and from Melbourne! I’m working full-time in the APS (in Barton) and I’m looking to move closer to the city. As it's my first time living in Canberra, I’m keen to explore new venues/bars/restaurants and see what the city has to offer. I'm a very respectful, tidy and happy housemate who loves to be social but can also respect others personal space. I don't have any pets or dependents & I'm interested in securing long-term accommodation. Things I like: - Food festivals - Films - Good coffee (basically a pre-requisite to living in Melbourne) - 80’s music - Reading - Hiking/jogging - Cycling Ideally I'm looking for my own room in a friendly house. I’m interested in a long-term rental close to the city or universities – but I’m flexible. Shoot me a message, I’d love to hear from you.
