I'm a 19 year old Australian student studying commerce at usyd, I currently live near Cronulla, but looking to move closer to the city as I will start full time work in accounting and finance in the city in February, and the commute is getting a little painful. I'm a relatively quiet, very chilled out, but sociable guy, especially after you get to know me. I like to have a few drinks and go out on weekends, but also I enjoy just chilling at home and watching Netflix and stuff, but I will also spend a fair bit of time studying, due to my full time work and study load.. I like going to the beach, going for the occasional run and being outdoors. I'm also a neat and clean guy! I'm going overseas in January for the month so putting this out in advance in the hope of perhaps having something lined up for when I get back! Feel free to message me!
Hello there! I am Andrew, a business development/account manager who has just moved into a different industry. The new job is CBD based so i am looking to move closer to the city - currently I am based in the hills district which means I am spending more commuting than I'd like. I used to work in FMCG so have a pretty good knowledge of bars and restaurants in Sydney. I also like music, movies, conversation, .......the usual good stuff. If you think we'd be a good fit and like to know more drop me a line. Ideally I'd like to have something locked in by the end of 2016 and preferably sooner.
Hi there, my name is Edan. I moved to the big city from the central coast one year ago and I am now looking for a studio for myself. I love to cook, go to the gym and relax after a day at work. I would love to check out your studio if possible. Thanks
I am a Mexican-Canadian studying a Master's program at the University in Sydney. Looking to stay with other respectful and clean students or professionals of a similar age. Looking for a private, furnished room close to a train station.
Professional/Student that takes pride in her space. I have a design background and work for a furniture company, which enables perks. I'm clean and considerate. Looking for a long-term arrangement. Willing to give 2-month bond for the right space.
We're a young, fun-loving, easy-going and cooperative couple who have secured Permanent Residency in Australia. I have moved to Sydney and my partner will join me once I arrange accommodation. We've traveled to many other countries and love to talk about different cultures, values, and traditions. I am an Engineer by profession and have an interest in psychology, counseling, and personal development. My partner is a Make-Up artist and has worked in many renowned salons. We're together since 3 years with no kids. We don't drink, smoke or have any pets. While selecting our residence, hygiene and cleanliness will be our priority. We prefer studio flats, granny flats or a private room with ensuite washroom. We love traveling, reading, dining and taking part in various sports and volunteering activities. Rest assured, you would love to have us around :)
Hello! James and I are super relaxed, chilled and easy to get along with. We have landed from over the pond a few weeks ago and are looking for a nice, friendly and relaxed room to rent from start or mid of December until start/mid/end of Jan - very flexible! We then plan to look for a more concrete base so would be willing to negotiate staying longer if it worked for all. We are here for the year to carry on our past professions of engineering (James) and charity fundraising (me). James is very sporty and loves sailing, cycling and being outside and I am attempt to be a runner and like being out on the water too. We are looking to find a nice place near the sea/harbour or close to town with a good transport link. We are free to come and meet/view rooms any time week commencing 28 November.
I am a friendly British chick looking for somewhere accessible to Central Sydney. I have just moved across to Sydney with work from Auckland and work full time as a HR professional. I am sociable, outgoing and keen to live with like-minded people, equally, I am respectful of other people's privacy and enjoy time to myself. At the weekends I tend to relax, socialise and enjoy the occasional dinner and drinks.
I have recently accepted a full-time consulting job in Sydney, so will be moving from Brisbane in early January (I start work on the 9th). I am friendly and easy-going. I enjoy keeping fit and going to the gym. I am looking for a place in inner Western Sydney that is within walking distance of public transport. A furnished bedroom would also be preferable.
I'm looking to move closer to work and social opportunities in Sydney, I'm originally from the Central Coast. I work full time in a library and I'm also studying online for a masters of information studies. I have a lot of interests such as writing, music, art, and fire twirling. I enjoy playing music, so if you have a piano I will definitely use it! I enjoy board games nights and hanging out with friends, but I also need a lot of quiet down time as well. I'm looking to make more friends, especially those within the arts community. Ideally I would love to live in an artistic household, but being around any people pursuing their passions is a priority for me. I'm the type of person who likes a tidy environment and I understand the murderous 'dirty dishes' rage that can be induced by housemates. I respect my environment and possessions a lot and would expect the same attitude in others as well. I can also bring a fair amount of house items with me if needed. My only drawback (no I won't fire twirl inside the house) is that I do have a cat and a rabbit. The cat at least as has to come with me, so a pet friendly property with a room that has floorboards/tiles is essential. I have rented previously with both animals and had no problems.
I am a long haul flight attendant. I am a non-smoker, I don't throw parties. I respect privacy and personal space, due to work schedule, I need a quiet place to rest during day time to recover myself after I come back from each work trip. I love good food, wine, coffee, fashion, art. I do some Asian cooking sometimes. I don't mind a chat but I don't rumble. I am mature, well present and I love to maintain my place very clean and tidy. Allergic to dust and mess. I have some simple furniture - a double bed, a small size 2 door fridge and some boxes. I have a lovely fur baby, a 9 months old kitten, he is so adorable and gentle, toilet trained since day. He doesn't scratch furniture, I only keep him indoor, he is very clean and well maintained. If you are a non-smoker and you are happy for us to share the place with you, I look forward to hearing from you. If you have any concern, happy to meet up first and start from there.
I'm Stanley, 31 year old professional working in the city. Outside of work; I'm fit and active, I enjoy a great coffee, food and wine. I'm a social person but I also enjoy my quiet downtime. I'm looking for place to share with people that are clean/tidy, know how to enjoy life but also respectful of others and I would of course offer the same in return. I don't have a set moving date nor set length of stay at this stage, however would ideally be moving prior to holiday break and minimum 3 months with the view to extend long-term if everything works out and everyone is in agreement. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers
Hi there. I'm a positive, easy going, considerate, clean and polite sort of person. I work in the city in corporate (banking), and tend to try to go to a gym after work to burn off all the chocolate I eat during the day! I also like runs and walks outside, beach time, brunches and spending time with my girlfriends (who all live in the Eastern Suburbs). Enjoy a wine on the weekend and wish I had more time to cook but don't seem to get around to it. Not really looking for a party animal who is going to stay up late until all hours with friends over but obviously everything in moderation is ok :) Flexible move date, currently living in Lavender Bay.
Hi I'm Brooke and I'm a 2nd year uni student at UTS studying finance and international studies. Looking for somewhere for a minimum of 3 months but would like somewhere for 9 months Currently work as a waitress, real estate receptionist and tutor. Love to paint, stay active, drink wine/coffee, visit art galleries and I also love to cook. Always keen for a chat but respect peoples privacy Clean and tidy, will always pay rent on time. I really hope I can find a nice, warm place to stay. Let me know, guys.
We, my wife and I, we work part time, I'm completing a course of study to improve the quality of my work. We do not like smoking, drinking om use. We like the company if discreet and cook very Italian. We are looking for a bedroom king size and possibly an exclusive bathroom.
Hi my name is Jenny, 30, Irish, looking to meet new people and hoping to find that home from home, I'd like a home that is looked after and clean, with people that are easy going and sociable. I like to keep fit and I am full time employed, like company but also like my own space, I'm clean, tidy, easy going and not too shabby in the kitchen. I'm a web developer living in Newcastle with my husband and two beautiful Brittany dogs. I have recently accepted a job offer in Sydney CBD as a web dev and am looking for a place to stay mainly during week days. However, it would be great if your place is pet friendly so my dogs can come visit occasionally. I was originally from China but have been around the world, one year in Sweden, five years in New Zealand and have finally settled down in beautiful Australia two years ago. I love exploring the nature with my beloved dogs and of course with my hubby who is a mining engineer. I eat healthy food and enjoy gardening, DIY projects and programming. Love a beer or a glass of wine occasionally after work but not loud party kind of person. If you're looking for a mature, responsible and fun flatmate who's only there half of the time then we should have a chat.
I'm from Germany and started my PhD at the the Macquarie University. I lived at the Macqaurie Village for 6 month but I would like to see some more other parts of Sydney and meet some new people. I'm used to live with other people, so I think I can 'handle' different kind of personalities :) I would say I'm a social person but not a party animal. I prefer bars over clubs. And of course: I'm tidy and clean. I clean my dishes after I used them and I don't try to create rubbish-hills in garbage bins! So, I hope to hear of you!
Hi, I am Abeer. I am currently pursuing an MBA program from Macquarie university, and it has been a year, since I moved to Sydney. I like the Newtown and the nearby suburbs, where I am looking to settle down for at least next 6 months.
I'm single woman, my work with traffic control and English student, and I looking forward finding a place for short term but with possibility more time. I'm tidy, friendly and easy-going
Hi, I'm Joanna, 27 years old. I work a 9-5 job in the City. I'm moving up from Melbourne to Sydney for a bit of a change in scenery in January 2017! During the weekdays I like to exercise after work and chill at home or with mates. On the weekends I like going out for brunch and trying new places. I love socialising (but respectful of people's personal space too), learning new things and being adventurous! I'm looking for socialable housemates who don't mind having a chat. I'm tidy and respectful of communal areas so I expect my housemates to be the same. I want to live with people who are honest, chilled and caring. I'm happy to cook communal meals or occasionally go out as a group.
Hi All, I currently live in Kirribilli and looking for a room around that area. I am in my mid 30's female, working in the city as a financial accountant. I am clean & tidy, easy going professional. Please text or email me shall you have more questions. Have a great day ! Regards, Annette.

Hi there! I'm 24-years-old, from America, and will be beginning grad school as a full-time student in February. I'll have a pretty heavy study load and will also be working part-time, so I'll probably be keeping to myself quite a bit during the week. However, I am a very social person, so it would be great to make friends with my flat mates and be able to occasionally cook or share a glass of wine together on week nights. On the weekends, I like to go out to the beaches and socialise with friends. All in all, I'm a pretty laid back person and get along with almost everyone. I'm also extremely tidy so you'll never have to worry about me leaving a mess around the house. If you think I would be a good fit for an open room in your house/flat, please do not hesitate to message me! Megan
I am an Indian who is planning to come to Australia by Feb'17 end. i am a neat and tidy guy who loves to keep things clean. Can cook descent non vegetarian food. Enjoys watching cricket and football. I love making new friends.
We are a nice couple, intending to work full time and my husband will work and study. We are calm in our 30´s, don´t want to party but we are very friendly.
I am a world traveled and considerate professional who loves the outdoor activities such as running, jogging, tennis. I also enjoy joga and love healthy food. I am easy to live with. Love having a nice conversation over a glass of wine, watch films or series and relaxing going out with friends.
I am an easy going, great cook, full time employed person, that loves a tranquil home space. Love the beach and nature. Don't want a party atmosphere. I have a small extremely gorgeous pomeranian dog ... so the most important thing I am looking for is someone or a house that would like a small dog. I'm from the Sunshine Coast moving down for work for a year or so (maybe more). I will be working in retail homewares full time, and hang out with my grown up daughter in Sydney, and also love being outdoors and walking my dog, so won't be hanging around that much. Im 48, but have a very young personality, so don't mind living with younger people. Like a tidy house though.
Hi there, I'm a friendly easy going guy and I work full time. Looking a for a nice place to live with nice people. I'm clean and respectful of others and enjoy being social whilst respecting others privacy. Look forward to talking with you. Michael
Hey! Looking for a housemate /room/team up. Clichè check: tidy, clean, relaxed and friendly. Full time Mon-Fri professional, like my space but enjoy sharing a meal or a drink now and then, as we would be sharing a home. Out and about for the most part but I do like the occasional weekend in. Considerate of personal space. No mad parties but I'll come to yours. Like/love: design, architecture, dance, whisky, martinis, tennis... & more. I don't usually cook, I 'assemble' or grill but love cooking a nice meal every now and then to share. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi there, My name is Vashi and I'm a female working full time in the CBD in the medical health profession having recently moved over from London. I'm currently living in Crow's Nest and I love the vibe of North Sydney so it would be great to continue living around this area. My ideal scenario would be close enough to the beach and have a decent commute in to the CBD. I'm looking for a place to stay from the 7th January after returning from Christmas in London. I'm a very friendly, relaxed, easy going, neat, respectful and reliable, no dramas flat mate. I'm not a neat freak- but I do like to live in a tidy environment and think as flatmates we should all be happy to pitch in towards creating a nice vibe to live in. I enjoy chilling out, discovering Sydney, going out for dinner with friends, being outdoors, going to the gym/ dance classes- I guess in some ways the use of the word 'normal' here would be good :) I'm quite an optimistic, positive thinking person I enjoy developing my spirituality and enjoy yoga, meditating (as and when I can)- although I am no expert on any of the above! If you'd like to know anything more feel free to drop me a line and we can always potentially meet and see if we click and would like to live together. Cheers and look forward to hearing from you :) Vashi
I'm a champ: tidy as hell, do my own dishes, can handle a barbecue, have a netflix acct (willing to share), have foxtel go (willing to share), generally have beers in the fridge (sometimes willing to share). Work full time in banking in the city. Gym a couple of times a week. I'd like for us to be able to have a meal or two together during the week and if it's raining I'm the kinda guy who will pull your washing in..
I am Ashish. Currently trying to juggle a job and an MBA. Searching for a place to call home. I could make your rent/utilities cheaper, partake in groceries acquisition, and successfully execute household chores. I am pretty easy going with most things. Love football, stand up comedy, beer & pizza, not necessarily in that order. While I am down for chit-chat almost any time, I also respect boundaries. Looking for tidy and responsible people who would appreciate untimely, yet wholeheartedly high fives. If you think you might enjoy having a healthy dose of energy around then do give me a shout. Please and thanks! :)
I am a 23 year old young professional female, currently working for Nestle in Adelaide as a Territory Field Sales Manager/ Graduate, and will be working in Marketing at head office in Sydney in February 2017. I am looking for a quiet, professional household to live in, close to the office in Rhodes, or alternatively somewhere with easy access to a train station so I can catch it to the Rhodes train station for work. I am looking for clean and tidy house mates, who are respectful of one another. I am a bubbly, easy-going and happy person, and prefer to share a house with like-minded happy people. I am also a fairly quiet person and enjoy my down time, and am capable of paying all bills on time. I am also a non-smoker, and prefer to live in a totally non-smoking household (and no recreational drugs please- I am not looking for a party house). I also love cooking in the kitchen so you can expect to see me in there most nights! I also love watching movies, going to the beach, and don't mind the occasional glass of wine. Pets are okay (but prefer dogs). Please contact me if you are looking for a new housemate and think I might be suitable.
Hi all! I am seeking a new place to live starting at the beginning of December and am looking to join a share-house or apartment with some new people and scenery. I am very easy-going and keen to make some new friends along the way :) I am currently working full-time in North Sydney. Love to play soccer, a movie buff, and beanie collector. I also have some furniture, a washing machine and dryer that can come with me if that's an option. :) Testimonials: "He's a darl"-Mike Andrews, Chicken Lover "Unencumbered, genuine and positive!"-Michael Rodwell, High Frequency Trader and Math Nerd "Blake is the best housemate you could ask for, very supportive, he always offers to make coffee and will grab things on high shelves if you're a shortie like me"-Alice, Planet Warrior
Hi there! I work full time in a consulting firm in the city. I'm originally from Orange but I've studied and lived in Sydney previously for my undergrad and high-school. I will be studying during semester time so I'll be pretty flat-out. I enjoy going to the gym, binging on Netflix and going out with friends. Summer will see me at the beach and outside as often as is possible and winter will see me curled up in a blanket burrito watching movies. I am looking for my own room (no roomshare arrangements) preferably large enough for a queen bed and storage (built-in wardrobe would be even better).
I am a 26 year old student currently completing my master's degree in physiotherapy while working part time in the city. Easy going and clean and just looking for a place to call home whenever I'm not working.
Hello, my name is Jasper Koning and I am a 21-year old student studying Software Engineering at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. I am going to Australia for 6 months because of an internship. I will be doing the internship at Excite Holidays. Therefore I am looking for a place to stay, preferably with my friend Jacob. He's a 20-year old studying the same as me. He will be doing his internship over at CrowdComms in Brookvale. Through the week we will be working full-time and only be home in the evenings and the weekends. We are two single, friendly guys looking to have a great time in Sydney that we may never forget, so we will be going out on adventures frequently.
Pretty chilled guy, grew up in Sydney. I love my music and pop culture, so if you like to chat about how rediculous Kim Kardashian is or how much you love the latest pop songs then I'm your guy. Work in radio 😊
Hey im Kat, ive just moved over from the UK with work. I love traveling, eating out, socialising and am attempting(!) to get good at surfing. Im v friendly and easy going, i like going out and being busy and would love housemates who are happy to grab a beer or chill with a movie after work. Im clean and tidy but not a neat freak. :)
Hi! I'm Olivia, full time retail employee, part-time musician, part-time gamer all round swell gal. I play the piano and have an upright and a pretty killer synth that I'd like to bring with me so hopefully you enjoy music! I spend most of my spare time writing and practicing music, but when I'm not doing that I'm out exploring the city or playing video games/doing nerd stuff. I'm pretty neat but not neurotic about it as life can get hectic and it's not always about cleaning, but I'm extremely reliable and easy going and I'm definitely not shy when it comes to speaking my mind (respectfully). I'm originally from Brisbane, but I've been in Sydney for near on 3 years and so far love it here. I have a rabbit that helps with my anxiety, named Mercutio. He's very quiet, smell and mess free and doesn't chew! I'm not much of a party animal but I do enjoy a GnT and a good ol socialise. There's nothing worse than awkward house vibes and I'm definitely not down for that. Hopefully I sound like your kind of roomie!
I'm an easy going, positive, friendly person and I would love to live with like minded people. I have lots of share house experience and am adaptable, open minded and great at compromise. I like to live in a neat space, and I love to cook. I'm addicted to my glass of wine in the evening and I'm always down for weekend shenanigans. I'm also a musician and would be occasionally playing cello/violin. I'm 25, currently living in Perth and moving to Sydney in January. I'm applying for full time jobs as a high school music teacher in the inner west, and am more than happy to work hospitality to make ends meet until that happens. Getting so excited for the move, to meet new people and to kick start this career!
Starting a new full-time job in the TV industry which will take up most of my time. When I'm not working I'll either be lying on the beach, going to gigs, catching up with friends or cooking meals and drinking wine with my housemates. I'm a fairly easy-going person and would love to find like minded people to share a home with. I do like my own space and can understand when others need theirs. Looking to move at the start of Jan but could move earlier if the right place comes along.
Easy-going, enjoy being social but also enjoy my own space. Love to cook, keep things clean and keep active: yoga, trail runs, ocean, cycles etc. I am a teacher, so silence is golden, especially during the week. I am still new to Sydney, having only relocated here for work a few weeks ago. Originally from South Africa but have lived in a few countries in the last 8 years. Looking for a flat share or one or two people to team up with from about mid-to-end of December.
Hard working, sociable, enjoy relaxing, gym, coffee, food & a few drinks! I start a new job in Sydney (moving from UK) and suppose that will be my focus at first! Have friends in Sydney and Melbourne but also looking forward to meeting new people... And some sunshine of course
I'm laid back, socialable, friendly guy who is easy to live with; likes to have a beer and dinner with housemates from time to time but is respectable of space and privacy, clean without being too anal about it, loves music but doesn't need to play any at a level that can be heard from the next suburb, and I'm a great addition to a pub trivia team if needed. I'm working full time in the environmental industry, and I'm keen to move up from Wollongong to be closer to where I work. Most weekends I might duck back to the gong to see friends or family. My interests? travelling, music, markets, craft beer, try to keep pretty fit with swimming, gym and diving, and having a laugh as much as I can...
Looking to move in asap ! Hi I am looking for a private room , prefer own bathroom , planning to move asap. A place nearer to city or to train station will be great . Please inbox me if you have a place available . Team up, Granny flat, share house ..?
Hi there, I'm 42 and have just moved back home to Sydney for work after taking a 22y sabbatical to Bris Vegas to have my two gentlemen ! I can do the usual things you want in a housemate, even cook plus I have a funky sense of humor. I like to live in warm friendly home. Ideally I would love to have my own place, yet it could prove a little too exy esp considering I will most probably be paying for secure parking as well.... If you think I fit in your square or are willing to go outside the box and would like further info about this 5'1" pocket rocket feel free to contact me.
Having lived in numerous share houses I understand the importance of getting the balance right between giving housemates private time and time to socialise. I always clean up after myself, and I am toilet trained! haha! I work full time hours monday - friday, when I'm not working, im either out playing ice hockey, watching ice hockey, or at a pub with friends. Having said that, I would love to live with someone/group of people who love to socialise.
Hi, I've been back in Australia for 3 years having spent the last 12 living and working in London. I work in the film Industry. I work full-time, and while there is an office in Surry Hills that I can use, I prefer working from home most days. I'm looking for a professional, easygoing housemate 35+. Ideally just one housemate, but would consider living with two. Ideally I'd like a larger bedroom (smaller is OK if there is a study). I'm looking for a house that feels like home, I don't mind getting a cleaner, I like to cook, and am pretty relaxed about things generally. Pet's are no problem. I would also consider finding a house with someone and us both moving in together. I'll respond to emails promptly, hope to hear from you.
